LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Collin A. Slack, 20, of Bemus Point was charged with two counts of petit larceny and second-degree scheme to defraud. Slack allegedly used counterfeit $100 bills to make purchases at Michael’s on March 11 and Game Stop on March 14. He turned himself in on the above charges. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on $2,000 bail.

Justin D. Wilcox, 33, of Youngsville, Pa., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Matthew J. Laska, 25, of Russell, Pa, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to stop at stop sign. On Tuesday, at 12:53 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Busti Sugar Grove Road for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign. It is alleged that the driver – Laska – was in possession of marijuana and his passenger-Wilcox-was in possession of crack cocaine. Laska was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court. Wilcox was arraigned in Busti Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 16-year-old youth was charged with second-degree harassment. On Monday, police responded to a reported fight in Falconer. It is alleged that the 16-year-old male juvenile slapped an 11-year-old male across the face several times. The 16-year-old male was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

GERRY-Nicholas L. Rollins, 26, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and moving from lane unsafely. On Friday, at 1:04 a.m., deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 380 in Gerry. It is alleged that the drive – Rollins – was under the influence of drugs. He was arraigned in Charlotte Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

NORTH HARMONY-Matthew E. Hall, 47, of Ashville was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusing a pre-screen breath test, moving from lane unsafely and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. On Friday, at 10:56 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Stonehenge Road in North Harmony for allegedly moving from a lane unsafely. It is alleged that the driver – Hall – was intoxicated. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

CHARLOTTE-Michael J. Seagrave, 27, of Sinclairville was charged with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol, unlawful possession of marijuana and parking on highway. On Tuesday, at 12:26 a.m., deputies came upon a vehicle parked in the driving lane of Charlotte Hill Road in Sinclairville. It is alleged that the driver – Seagrave – was impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol, according to an evaluation by a drug recognition expert. Seagrave was also allegedly in possession of marijuana. He was issued appearance tickets for Charlotte Court.

CHERRY CREEK-John Thomas P. Irwin, 21, of Gowanda was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and failure to signal turn. Kyle N. Neubeck, 22, of North Collins was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle. On Sunday, at 2:52 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for an observed traffic violation on Main Street in Cherry Creek. It is alleged that the driver – Irwin – and a passenger-Neubeck-had open containers of alcohol and various drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle. Neubeck allegedly had multiple Suboxone strips and both individuals had hypodermic needles. Both were issued appearance tickets to Cherry Creek Court.

SINCLAIRVILLE-Aaron J. Restivo, 36, of Gerry was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a county court DWI warrant. On Saturday, at 7:15 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle in Sinclairville that was being driven by Restivo – who was a convicted felon and known to have an active Chautauqua County Court warrant. It is alleged that Restivo had a high caliber rifle and his driver’s license was revoked due to a prior DWI conviction. Restivo was taken to the county jail without bail.

PANAMA-Jason A. Earle, 19, of Panama was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree grand larceny. On March 3, deputies responded to a residence in Clymer for a reported burglary that occurred earlier involving a stolen four-wheeler. Police were able to recover the vehicle, but it was heavily damaged. Through further investigation, it is alleged that Earle unlawfully entered the home and stole the four-wheeler. A warrant was issued and Earle was taken into custody without incident. He was arraigned in Clymer Court and remanded to the county jail without bail.

MAYVILLE-Ashley R. Lee, 25, of Falconer was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps. On March 23, Lee was charged with felonies relating to a welfare fraud investigation. It is alleged that Lee applied for and started receiving SNAP/food stamp benefits at the beginning of May 2015. Later that same month, Lee’s husband started working and receiving income. Lee began working herself in June 2015 and allegedly never reported her income or the income of her husband. As a result of unreported income, Lee allegedly received $2,044 in unentitled food stamp benefits for July 2015 through October 2015. She was issued appearance tickets to Jamestown City Court.

HANOVER-Aaron L. Green, 31, of Silver Creek was charged with felony DWI-Leandra’s Law, felony DWI-previous conviction, DWI per se, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator and inadequate headlamps. On March 23, at 1:59 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Angell Road in Hanover for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Green – had revoked driving privileges and was intoxicated. Deputies also discovered two passengers in the vehicle were under the age of 16. A criminal history check revealed that Green had a previous DWI conviction within 10 years. He was arraigned in Hanover Court and remanded to the county jail.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

NORTH HARMONY-Quentin Newhouse, 24, of Ashville was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. On March 21, State Police and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Old Bridge Road in Stow to check the welfare of a male subject who was reportedly unconscious in his vehicle at Hogan’s Hut. Police pulled over the suspect vehicle when they observed it traveling south on Old Bridge Road. It is alleged that the driver – Newhouse – was impaired by drugs and possessed a used syringe. Newhouse was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a check of his driving record revealed multiple revocations and suspensions as well as a conviction for aggravated DWI in 2015. Newhouse was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Neris F. Dejesus, 24, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. On March 21, at 4:45 p.m., Dejesus was charged after allegedly stealing $178.65 in merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She reportedly had four young children in her custody at the time. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Jefferson A. Blake, 44, of Warren, Pa., was charged with third-degree assault. On Wednesday, at 7:45 p.m., Blake was charged after a physical altercation in Busti. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Kristen Capizzi, 20, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. On March 24, at 1:28 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the driver – Capizzi – had multiple baggies of marijuana. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Dillon J. Mescall, 19, of Panama was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. On March 23, at 10:47 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Forest Avenue Extension in Busti. It is alleged that the driver – Mescall – was in possession of marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in Bust Court at a later date.

Michael R. Nichols, 49, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child. On Saturday, at 9 p.m., police responded to a domestic incident between Nichols and his girlfriend. It is alleged that Nichols was in possession of a controlled substance. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Justin Shafer, 23, and Kristie Farmer, 20, both of Falconer, were charged with second-degree harassment. On Sunday, police responded to a reported fight outside of a Ellicott residence and charged Shafer and Farmer. They were scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Kendall E. Yeskey, 27, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On March 10, Sam’s Club informed police that $200 worth of items were stolen by a male suspect earlier in the day. Police identified Yeskey through surveillance video and apprehended him later. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Douglas P. Beardsley Jr., 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment and petit larceny. On March 20, at 3:15 a.m., police responded to a reported assault at the Kwik Fill, located at 455 W. Main St. in Falconer. Police reportedly found Beardsley hiding behind a fence next to the store. It is alleged that he slapped and punched an individual in the face and then took $60 in cash from another individual’s vehicle. Beardsley was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court.

Darren F. Wallace, 47, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On March 18, police were called to the Kwik Fill on North Main Street Extension to investigate a reported wallet theft. It was reported that a wallet containing approximately $400 along with numerous credit cards and identification was removed by an individual from a parking lot. Wallace was charged after an investigation. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. Police said all but the $400 was returned to the victim.

Clarissa K. Napoleon, 32, and Timothy M. Napoleon, 37, of Falconer, were both charged with endangering the welfare of a child on March 18. It is alleged that their child had been absent or tardy in excess of 70 days from Falconer Central School for the 2015-16 school year. Both were scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Reasha R. Davis, 19, of Brooklyn was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Police were contacted by Community Bank that a female suspect had deposited two checks into her account in January. A short time later, the suspect withdrew the deposited cash from the account before the bank had time to process the checks. The checks were reportedly fraudulent. The account holder was advised to return the case, but failed to do so. Police identified Davis as both the account holder and the suspect who withdrew the cash. She reportedly withdrew $3,000 from the account. Davis was arraigned in Poland Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Thomas D. Fisher III of Celoron was charged after allegedly giving a bad check to the Falconer Veterinary Clinic at 319 E. Avenue in Falconer. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court on Wednesday.

Jody L. Churchill, 53, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On March 18, police responded to a reported larceny at Kwik Fill in Falconer. It is alleged that Churchill removed $10 from the register while employed at the Kwik Fill. She was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SHERIDAN-Barbara Jones, 64, of Silver Creek was charged with failure to yield right of way, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. On Saturday, at 8:52 p.m., deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 39 in Sheridan. It is alleged that Jones was traveling southbound on Newell Road and pulled out in front of another vehicle that was travelling eastbound on Route 39. She was allegedly intoxicated. The occupants of the other vehicle sustained apparently minor injuries and declined EMS. Jones was issued tickets for Sheridan Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Adam Brown, 33, of 246 Fulton St., was charged with second-degree criminal obstruction of breathing Saturday. At approximately 8:50 a.m., officers responded to a call regarding a physical domestic incident in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who told them that Brown, her boyfriend, had picked her up by her neck during the altercation. After a brief investigation, officers placed Brown into custody and transported him to the city jail, where he awaited arraignment.

COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

POLAND – Gregory Hall, 53, of 5321 Loomis St. in North East, Pa., was charged with DWI, DWI .08 percent or higher and failure to keep right on Saturday. At approximately 1:40 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 394 in Poland for an observed traffic infraction. Hall, the operator of the vehicle, was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with DWI, DWI .08 percent or higher and failure to keep right. He was later released and scheduled to appear in Poland Town Court next month to answer charges.

ELLERY – Tyler L. McMaster, 41, of Bemus Point, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and speed in zone, and Tammie L. Yonkers, 43, of Lakewood was charged with false personation on Wednesday. At 10:41 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on Dutch Hollow Road in Ellery. The driver was identified as McMaster. During an interview, a female passenger repeatedly provided a false name and date of birth. Following an investigation, deputies were able to identify the passenger as Yonkers. A valid order of protection was in place between Yonkers and McMaster. McMaster was issued an appearance ticket for second-degree criminal contempt and speed in zone, while Yonkers was issued an appearance ticket for false personation. They will appear in Ellery court on separate dates.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CLYMER – On March 3, deputies responded to a residence in the town of Clymer for a past-tense burglary involving a stolen four-wheeler. Deputies were able to recover the stolen property and found that it had been heavily damaged. Through further investigation, it is alleged that Jason A. Earle, 19, of Raspas Hill Road had unlawfully entered the home and stolen the four-wheeler. A warrant was issued on a later date and Earle was placed into custody without incident. He has been charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned in the Clymer and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail without bail until a recommendation has been made by the District Attorney’s office.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – Jennifer L. Fain, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny, endangering the welfare of a child and false impersonation Friday at Wal-Mart around 3:20 p.m. It is alleged that Fain stole $63.71 in clothing and DVDs while having custody of a child under 16. While processing, it was discovered that Fain attempted to hide her identity by providing a false name and date of birth, police said. Fain was released to return in Busti Court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kevin L. Bellardo, 43, of Lakewood was charged with second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. On Sunday, at 10:34 a.m., Bellardo was charged at a 2222 Second Ave. residence in Lakewood. The arrest warrant is from a March 6 incident, in which Bellardo allegedly choked and beat up a female victim. Bellardo was issued a ticket for Busti Court.

William A. Quinones, 42, of Mayville was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Thursday, at 8:40 p.m., Quinones was charged at the Lakewood Wal-Mart after allegedly cutting open a package containing a Samsung cellphone. The cellphone was reportedly valued at $99. He was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Tina C. Taylor, 44, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On March 15, at 2:18 p.m., Taylor turned herself into police on a March 17 arrest warrant. It is alleged that Taylor under rang a rug at the Lakewood Wal-Mart and did not pay $73.13. Taylore was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

IRVING-Timothy W. Eisaman, 27, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and following too closely. On Sunday, at 7:10 p.m., deputies responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover. It is alleged that one of the drivers involved – Eisaman – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-Michael J. Young, 36, of Silver Creek was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speeding in zone. On Saturday, at 9:23 .m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Park Place in Silver Creek. It is alleged that the driver – Young – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Daniel D. Stewart, 21, of Mayville was charged with DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more and speed in zone. On Sunday, at 12:55 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on East Chautauqua Street in Chautauqua that was allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the driver – Stewart – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CARROLL-William C. Jones, 32, of Ripley was charged with DWI, DWI with a BAC of .08 percent or greater, moving from lane unsafely and operating without insurance. On Saturday, at 2:34 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Main Street in Carroll for an alleged lane violation. The driver – Jones – was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

PORTLAND-Shera Smith, 41, of Fredonia was charged with speed in zone, DWI and aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or more. On Saturday, at 4:30 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 5 in Portland for allegedly speeding on Lake Avenue. It is alleged that the driver – Smith – was intoxicated. He was issued tickets for Portland Court.

CASSADAGA-Shawn A. Cavender, 46, of Cassadaga was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Thursday, at 5:02 a.m., deputies responded to a 3254 Smith Road residence in Cassadaga for a reported disorderly person. It is alleged that the person – Cavender – was in possession of marijuana. He was issued a ticket for Charlotte Court.

IRVING-Matthew J. Zanghi, 25, of Irving was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. A 16-year-old male youth was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Wednesday, at 10 p.m., deputies responded to a Erie Street address in Hanover for a well-being check. It is alleged that Zanghi and a 16-year-old were in possession of marijuana. Both were issued tickets for Hanover Court.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

MAYVILLE-Chad A. Klingensmith, 19, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Saturday, state police and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a large party at a Mayville address. It is alleged that Klingensmith was in possession of a bong containing marijuana residue. He was issued a ticket for Chautauqua Court.

Leslie Nalbone, 56, of Lakewood was charged with aggravated DWI. On Saturday, state police pulled over Nalbone’s vehicle for allegedly committing a traffic violation in Jamestown. It is alleged that Nalbone was intoxicated with a BAC of .18. She was issued tickets for Jamestown City Court.

Joseph A. Ramos, 19, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana and unsafe backing. On Friday, at 4:50 a.m., state police responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Route 60. It is alleged that the driver – Ramos – had a small bag of marijuana. He was also allegedly intoxicated with a BAC of .16 percent. He was issued tickets to Charlotte Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Luis M. Torres-Cortes, 30, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment. On Wednesday, at 12:41 p.m., police responded to 98 Myrtle St. Apt. 2 for a reported domestic dispute. A victim at the scene told police that Torres-Cortes allegedly pushed her to the ground and began to hit her. The victim also stated that Torres-Cortes allegedly choked her and bit the victim’s thumb. He was located a few blocks away from the scene and taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Wade J. Paulisick Jr., 19, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Tuesday, police responded to a reported domestic dispute at 2 E. First St. in Lakewood. It is alleged that Paulisick took his girlfriend’s phone and threw it against the wall, causing it to break. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE-Alexandria A. Earls, 23, of Mayville was charged with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. On Thursday, at 12:42 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Lakeview Avenue in Mayville for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the driver – Earls – was intoxicated. She was ticketed to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

POMFRET-Marc R. King, 39, of Erie, Pa., was charged with insufficient turn signal, DWI and DWI per se. On Sunday, at 3:23 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Pomfret for an alleged traffic infraction. It is alleged that the driver – King – was intoxicated. He was ticketed to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Tyler E. Sutton, 29, of Tidioute, Pa. was charged with speed in zone, failure to keep right, DWI and DWI per se. on March 5, at 7:25 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Stedman-Panama Road in North Harmony for allegedly committing multiple traffic infractions. It is alleged that the driver – Sutton – was intoxicated. He was ticketed to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT-Christopher Cordosi, 35, of Bemus Point was charged with third-degree assault. On Wednesday, police responded to the House That Jack Built in Bemus Point for a reported fight. It is alleged that Cordosi became aggressive toward an uninvolved patron before assaulting and injurying the victim’s knee. The victim was treated at WCA Hospital. Cordosi was arraigned in Ellery Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Julie Benson, 55, of Mississauga, Ontario, was charged with DWI. On March 11, police pulled over a vehicle on Route 430 in Jamestown for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Benson – was intoxicated. She was issued tickets returnable to Ellicott Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Bradley E. Sargent, 59, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, speed not reasonable or prudent and failure to keep right. On Sunday, at 1:49 a.m., police responded to 93 Camp St. for a reported vehicle accident with personal injury. Upon arrival, police observed a vehicle that had driven through the front porch of a 93 Camp St. residence and landed on top of another vehicle parked in the driveway. It is alleged that the driver of first vehicle – Sargent-was intoxicated. He was taken to WCA Hospital for medical treatment. He was given appearance tickets to Jamestown City Court.

Jonathan Vega Rivera, 23, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and a Jamestown city warrant. On Sunday, at 10:21 a.m., police observed Rivera, who reportedly had a valid probation warrant through Jamestown City Court, on East Second Street. Upon seeing the police, Rivera allegedly went into a residence and refused to open the door despite police commands. Police eventually gained entry and took Rivera into custody. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Hector M. Guevara, 29, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and two counts of aggravated Family Offense. Amanda Guevara, 34, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. On Sunday, at 8:12 p.m., police responded to 296 Winsor St. for a reported violation of an order of protection. It is alleged that Hector Guevara was violating an order of protection at the residence. It is also alleged that Amanda Guevara was attempting to hide him from police. One of the protected individuals was a child that was present at the time. Both Hector and Amanda Guevara were taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA-Will D. Lutgen, 51, of Mayville was charged with felony DWI, felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal turn and refused pre-screen breath test. On Feb. 26, at 12:34 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that allegedly failed to signal a turn on Elmwood Road in Chautauqua. The driver – Lutgen – was allegedly intoxicated. He was arraigned in Ellery Court and committed to the county jail with no bail.

ELLERY-Dennis J. Gilbert, 25, of Kennedy was charged with driving while ability impaired by the combination of alcohol and drugs, moving from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable or prudent. On March 4, at 2:02 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle rollover on Bemus-Ellery Road in Ellery. The driver – Gilbert – was allegedly under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He was scheduled to answer charges at Ellery Court.

CHAUTAUQUA-Whitney A. Jaynes, 18, of Westfield was charged with driving while ability impaired by the combination of drugs, moving from lane unsafely and no front plate. On March 10, at 7:59 p.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Route 430 in Chautauqua. It is alleged that the driver – Jaynes – was impaired by drugs. He was scheduled to answer charges in Chautauqua Court.

POMFRET-Darrick V. Carter, 48, of Buffalo was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. On Friday, at 10:55 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Route 60 in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver – Carter – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to answer charges in Pomfret Court.

SHERIDAN-Blake A. Brien, 21, of Bradford, Pa., was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed in zone, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. On March 7, at 12:09 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly speeding on Route 20 in Sheridan. It is alleged that the driver – Brien – was impaired by drugs. He was scheduled to answer charges in Sheridan Court.

SHERIDAN-Frederick P. Spruce, 29, of Versailles was charged with DWI, DWI per se, failure to keep right and container of alcohol in motor vehicle. On March 5, at 1:34 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly committing several lane violations. It is alleged that the driver – Spruce – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to answer charges in Sheridan Court.

IRVING-Jeffrey T. Jamison, 49, of Irving was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, unlicensed operator and speed in zone. On Saturday, at 9:20 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover for allegedly committing traffic violations. It is alleged that the driver – Jamison – was intoxicated. He was given appearance tickets for Hanover Court.

Mary M. Simpson, 23, of Bemus Point was charged with operating while registration suspended or revoked. On March 9, at 10:57 a.m., Simpson was pulled over because her registration was suspended. She was issued a traffic ticket and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

SHERMAN-Jamie A. Goodwill, 28, of Sinclairville was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and moving from lane unsafely. On March 11, at 1:41 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 430 in Sherman that allegedly committed a traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Goodwill – had a small quantity of marijuana. He was given traffic and appearance tickets for Sherman Court.

ASHVILLE-Jessy J. Gleason, 25, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. On March 8, at 3:50 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a personal injury accident on Randolph Road in North Harmony. The driver – Gleason – was transported to WCA Hospital for minor injuries. He was scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court for unlicensed operation.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

CASSADAGA – Andrew R. Emmott, 18, of Sinclairville, and Joshua M. Scott, 18, of Cassadaga were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Saturday around 1:52 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies stopped to check an occupied vehicle parked in a vacant lot on Mill Street in Cassadaga. Deputies identified the occupants as Emmott and Scott. It was discovered that both individuals were in possession of a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were both charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and released with a citation directing them to appear in the Town of Stockton court at a later date.

POMFRET – Heather L. Gelencser, 21, of Angola, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and move from lane unsafely. On Wednesday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol stopped a motorist for an observed traffic infraction on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret. Gelencser was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was released with citations directing her to appear in town of Pomfret Court at a later date.

ELLINGTON – Jay E. Head, 39, of Uniontown, Ohio, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree reckless endangerment, DWAI-drugs, unlicensed operator, failure to comply with lawful order, reckless driving and numerous other traffic infractions. On Friday at approximately 5:42 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were involved in a lengthy vehicle pursuit through several roads in the town of Ellington. The pursuit began due to the suspect driver not complying with a traffic stop stemming from an investigation into a suspicious situation. During the course of the vehicle pursuit, Head struck a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle, causing substantial damage. After a 10-minute pursuit, Head’s vehicle was finally stopped and he was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were sustained to any of the involved officers. Head sustained a minor laceration to his arm and was treated by Allstar EMS. He was later arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on the charges.

SOUTHERN TIER

REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE

GOWANDA – Rginald Irion, 56, of 47 W. Hill St. No. 4, Gowanda, was charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and once count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. The charges were filed on Tuesday around 6:17 p.m. after a lengthy investigation in the village of Gowanda by the Olean Office of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Irion was arraigned in the town of Persia Court and bail was set at $5,000. He was then transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail. The Olean Office of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is comprised of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department, the New York State Police, the Gowanda Police Department, the City of Salamanca Police Department and the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Andrew Coleman, 33, of Jamestown, was arrested Saturday after officers observed his gray sedan failing to keep right while traveling eastbound on East Second Street around 2:34 a.m. Officers pulled the vehicle over, and Coleman was found to allegedly be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where his blood alcohol level was determined to be nearly twice the legal limit. Coleman was charged with failure to maintain lane, failure to keep right, DWI and DWI per se.

Donald L. Hatch, 53, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely. On Tuesday, at 4:43 a.m., police responded to a personal injury accident in the area of Willard Street and Willow Avenue. The driver – Hatch – was transported to WCA Hospital after reportedly leaving the road and striking a utility pole. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets for Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shawn A. Oshany, 27, of Warren was charged with moving from lane unsafely, DWI and DWI per se. On Saturday, at 7:19 p.m., police responded to a minor traffic accident on Big Tree Road. It is alleged that the driver involved – Oshany – was intoxicated. He was given appearance tickets for Busti Court.

Michaela A. Marsh, 24, was charged with petit larceny. On March 2, at 5:15 p.m., Marsh allegedly stole Acai Brazilian Oil from 221 W. Summit Ave. She was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Norman J. Lindell, 42, of Lakewood was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, unlawful imprisonment, third-degree assault, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Jennifer L. Ostrom, 42, of Lakewood was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. On Wednesday, at 4:19 a.m., police responded to a domestic incident at 4 Freeman St. in Lakewood. It is alleged that Lindell choked a female and prevented her from leaving the residence while in the presence of two small children. Police reportedly found a crack pipe with drug residue, marijuana, a scale for weighing narcotics and other drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Ostrom was taken into custody for allegedly stabbing a person in the back with a kitchen knife. She also had outstanding warrants out of Jamestown. Both Lindell and Ostrom were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Masrgarita Morales, 26, of Cherry Creek was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, police responded to a shoplifting complaint at an Ellicott business. Morales was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court for allegedly shoplifting.

Tyler C. Anderson, 25, of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct. On Monday, police responded to a domestic incident at 2256 Willard St. Extension. Anderson was given an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court. Details of his alleged conduct were not released.

Jason S. Smith, 45, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. On Sunday, at 5:12 a.m., police responded to 235 Buffalo St. for a violent domestic dispute. It is alleged that Smith and his wife were involved in an incident in which Smith held his wife by the throat against a wall, causing difficulty breathing. It is also alleged that he slapped her in the face, punched her in the back of the head and pushed her against a kitchen stove. He also reportedly prevented her from leaving the room. Smith was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

John J. Lisciandro, 54, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. On Sunday, police responded to a reported vehicle complaint at a Kwik Fill in Falconer. Police pulled over the vehicle on West Falconer Street and determined that the driver-Lisciandro-was allegedly intoxicated by multiple drugs. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

James R. Webster, 21, of Celoron was taken into custody Friday after allegedly pushing and striking a 73-year-old victim in the face with a closed fist. Webster was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. Charges were not released.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Diana L. Crisafulli, 51, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny, failure to appear warrant, trespass, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance outside original container. On Friday, at 4 p.m., Crisafulli was charged at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She also reportedly had two active warrants out of the Lakewood-Busti Police Department for petit larceny and failure to appear in Busti Court. She was arraigned in Busti Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA-Randy L. Stufflebeam, 57, of Kennedy was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle, operating in violation of restrictions, operating without insurance, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. On Saturday, at 2:55 p.m., deputies along with the Hartfield Fire Department responded to 6088 Route 430 for a reported unresponsive person in a parked vehicle. It is alleged that the person-Stufflebeam-was intoxicated. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and committed to the county jail in lieu of $500 bail and $1,000 property bond.

SHERMAN-Ronald A. Lutgen, 23, of Bemus Point was charged with DWI per se and DWI common law. On Saturday, at 10:51 p.m., deputies received a call that a vehicle had struck another vehicle and left the scene on Main Street in Sherman. Further investigation determined that a passenger in the suspect vehicle-Lutgen-had allegedly left the scene in his own vehicle and returned shortly afterward. He was allegedly intoxicated while driving the vehicle. He was given an appearance ticket for Sherman Court.

BROCTON-Kristopher M. Degolier, 20, of Fredonia was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. Kyle A. Rouse, 19, of Fredonia was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Brittany M. Siragusa, 18, of Brocton was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of alcohol under 21. Jessica L. Small, 19, of Forestville was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol under 21. On Saturday, at 11 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for an observed traffic violation in Brocton. It is alleged that Degolier, Roush and Siragusa were in possession of marijuana, while Siragusa and Small were in possession of alcohol under the age of 21. All four individuals were given appearance tickets to Brocton Court.

FRENCH CREEK-Richard E. Herrick, 51, of Waterford, Pa., was charged with DWI common law, failure to stop at stop sign and failure to use turn signal. On Saturday, at 1:10 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver-Herrick-was intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets for French Creek Court.

CHAUTAUQUA-Jennifer R. McConnell, 46, of Mayville was charged with false personation and resisting arrest. On Feb. 26, at 3:03 a.m., deputies investigated an incident on Elmwood Road in Chautauqua. It is alleged that McConnell provided deputies with a false name and date of birth multiple times. It is also alleged that she resisted arrest. She was arraigned in Ellery Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $750 cash bail.

BROCTON-Sebastian Hernandez Rojas, 20, of Brocton was charged with third-degree assault. On Feb. 28, at 2:10 a.m., deputies were called to 62 Kinner St. in Brocton for a physical altercation between two individuals. It is alleged that Hernandez Rojas punched and kicked another person in the residence causing injury to the person. He was arraigned in Brocton Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $3,000 cash or $6,000 property bond. The victim refused treatment for injuries.

NORTH HARMONY-Travis M. Scott, 27, of Jamestown was charged with DWI per se, DWI common law and failure to stop at stop sign. On Feb. 27, at 11:48 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle allegedly commit a traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver-Scott-was intoxicated. He was issued tickets to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jody R. Eaton, 46, of Jamestown, was arrested Saturday after officers observed a vehicle near Barrett Avenue and Dearborn Street running with headlights on and the alleged driver slumped over in the driver’s seat around 4:40 a.m. Upon further investigation, Eaton was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI, DWI per se and refusal of a breath test. She was transported to the City Jail without incident and held pending arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RANDOLPH – Brandon Bush, 34, of 102 Main St., Randolph, was arrested Thursday on a warrant issued from the Town of Randolph Court. He was charged with sex offender failing to report changing address, arraigned in South Valley Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

BUSTI – Jeffrey P. Hamilton, 37, of 130 Franklin Ave., Lakewood, was arrested Saturday. Around 1:30 a.m., an officer on patrol on Hunt Road in Busti allegedly observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon further investigation, the vehicle was found to be operated by Hamilton, who was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or more and speed in zone. He will appear in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FRENCH CREEK – Richard E. Herrick, 51, of Waterford, Pa., was arrested Saturday after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation around 1:10 a.m. on Route 426 in the town of French Creek. Herrick’s vehicle was stopped and further investigation found that he was allegedly operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated state. Herrick was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated common law, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to signal a turn. He was issued traffic tickets for the Town of French Creek Court and will appear at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ronald J. Caruso, 38, of Bemus Point was charged with trespass, unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal impersonation. On Tuesday, at 8:41 a.m., police observed a man walking along the railroad tracks behind 825 Allen St. The man – Caruso – allegedly had an outstanding arrest warrant and falsely identified himself to police. It was also discovered that Caruso allegedly possessed 14.6 grams of marijuana and a large quantity of Methadone pills. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Alec J. Harrington, 22, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated by drugs, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation without interlock device and expired inspection. On Wednesday, at 4:06 p.m., police responded to a reported disorderly and intoxicated person at 181 E. Fairmount Ave. in Lakewood. The person – Harrington – reportedly left in a vehicle located on Chautauqua Mall Boulevard. Police pulled over Harrington’s vehicle and determined that he was allegedly intoxicated by drugs. It is also alleged that Harrington’s driving privileges were revoked and that he had an interlock device for a prior DWI charge within the past 10 years. Harrington was arraigned in Busti Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $4,000 bail or $8,000 property bond.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Crystal L. Caylor, 36, of Celoron was charged with having less than two tail lamps, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felony DWI common law and felony DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. On Feb. 24, at 8:18 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Boulevard Avenue for reportedly having inadequate tail lamps. It is alleged that the driver – Caylor – was intoxicated and had a revoked driver’s license because of a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years. She was given an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court.

Douglas A. Rishel, 33, of Celoron was charged with third-degree assault. On Feb. 24, police responded to a reported domestic incident in Celoron. It is alleged that Rishel was in a domestic dispute that turned physical and caused pain and minor injuries to a victim. Rishel was given an appearance date at Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Levi A. Pfleuger, 21, of Forestville was charged with moving from lane unsafely and driving with ability impaired by drugs. On Tuesday, at 9:41 p.m., deputies responded to a reported vehicle off the road on Old Main Road in Hanover. It is alleged that the driver – Pfleuger – was impaired by drugs. He was transported to the local hospital for treatment and given an appearance date at Hanover Court.

DUNKIRK – Leroy C. Gilbert, 19, of Dunkirk was charged with moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right, failure to use designated lane, driving to left of pavement markings, DWI and DWI per se. On Feb. 28, at 1:21 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Lake Shore Drive in Dunkirk for several alleged traffic violations. It is alleged that the driver – Gilbert – was intoxicated. He was given an appearance date for Dunkirk City Court.

DUNKIRK-Nicholas R. Desanto, 22, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, moving from lane unsafely, DWI and DWI per se. On Feb. 27, at 2:48 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on South Roberts Road in Dunkirk for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Desanto – was intoxicated. He was given an appearance date for Dunkirk City Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Zachary A. Wilson, 22, and Gary S. Dean Jr., 39, both of Jamestown, were charged Sunday. At 11:45 a.m., officers observed Wilson as a passenger in a vehicle. Acting with the knowledge that Wilson had a valid warrant from Jamestown City Court, the officers stopped the vehicle and took Wilson into custody. The operator of the vehicle, Dean, was then found to have had his driving privileges revoked in New York state and he was also taken into custody. Dean was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. During the traffic stop, officers observed a small quantity of methamphetamine in the passenger side door pocket. Wilson was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both subjects were transported to Jamestown City Jail in lieu of bail.

SALAMANCA CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jason L. Murray, 36, of Bradford, Pa., was charged Friday with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. Police allege that Murray was in possession of more than a pound of marijuana located under his feet inside a vehicle. A 2-year-old child was riding in the same vehicle and was also present while a drug transaction was taking place. He is currently being held in Cattaraugus County Jail pending the potential posting of bail and further court proceedings.

Bobbie McCracken, 27, of Salamanca was charged Friday with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She was held over and arraigned in Salamanca City Court.

Jeffrey I. Bushnell, 42, of Hinsdale was charged Friday with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

Justin M. Farnham, 28, of Salamanca was charged Friday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and insufficient tail lights. He was processed and released on bail.

Melissa A. Nestell, 31, of Salamanca was charged Friday with endangering the welfare of a child. She was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

Gary O. Thomas Jr., 28, of Salamanca was charged Sunday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, with intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. He was held over for arraignment in city court.

Donald B. Moore, 24, of Great Valley was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, speed not reasonable and prudent and refusal to take a roadside breath test. He was processed and released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in city court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ashley G. Richards, 28, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. On Monday, at 2:20 p.m., Richards was charged after she allegedly stole $57.46 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She reportedly had a 3-month-old child in her custody at the time. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

FREWSBURG-David J. Huber, 52, of Falconer was charged with DWI. On Feb. 21, police responded to a reported vehicle in a ditch on North Pearl Street in Frewsburg. It is alleged that Huber backed out of a driveway and ended up in a ditch. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .20 percent. He was issued appearance tickets to Carroll Court.
