JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Alisha D. Centi, 21, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree forgery and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. On Thursday at 10:09 a.m., police responded to the Bullfrog Hotel, located at 1414 E. Second St., for a report of a female attempting to cash a stolen check. Upon arrival, officers learned that Centi allegedly attempted to cash a check made out in her name for a large sum of money. The check was allegedly stolen from a business in Warren County, Pa. Centi was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 17-year-old female was charged with petit larceny. On Thursday at 3:05 p.m., a 17-year-old female was charged after allegedly stealing a hands-free car audio kit valued at $29.88 from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

Tracy M. Smith, 40, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Thursday, at 5:10 p.m., Smith was charged after allegedly stealing $84.65 worth of random merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

Amelia C. Lindquist, 22, of Kennedy was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, speeding, failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings. Thursday at 1:53 a.m., a Lakewood-Busti Police officer was on patrol on Hunt Road and observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, failing to keep right and driving across hazard markings. The vehicle was driven by Lindquist, police said. She was found to be intoxicated and charged. She will appear in Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER-Kaitlyn A. Covell, 28, of Jamestown was charged with seven counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Joshua K. Crist, 35, of Jamestown was charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle. On Thursday at 11:32 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover. It is alleged that a passenger of the vehicle – Covell – was in possession of heroin, crack cocaine and more than 50 narcotic pills. Both Covell and Crist were given appearance tickets for Hanover Court.

FREDONIA-A 17-year-old male from Sinclairville was charged with third-degree assault. On Thursday at 11:06 a.m., deputies received a complaint regarding two individuals in a physical altercation. It is alleged that a 17-year-old male assaulted and injured another student at LoGuidice BOCES, located at 9520 Fredonia Stockton Road. The male was scheduled to appear in Pomfret Court.

CHAUTAUQUA-Sheryl M. Barton, 35, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree forgery and petit larceny. Barton was employed as a home health care aide for an elderly couple staying at Chautauqua Institution. While taking care of the victims, Barton allegedly stole a bank check, filled out the check and forged the victim’s name before cashing it for money. The alleged crime took place in July 2014, but was recently discovered after an audit of the victims’ financial records. Barton was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and released to the probation department.

HANOVER-Marissa R. Paradowski, 18, of Depew was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to dim headlights. On Thursday, at 3:10 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover. It is alleged that the driver – Paradowski – was in possession of various drug paraphernalia and a quantity of marijuana. She was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Nicole E. Berg, 32, of Bemus Point was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, failure to keep right, refusal to take roadside breath test, moving from lane unsafely and uninspected motor vehicle. On Jan. 24, at 3:02 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was reportedly traveling northbound in the southbound lane of Dutch Hollow Road in Ellery. The driver – Berg – was allegedly intoxicated. She was arraigned in Ellery Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

ELLICOTT-Dale J. Warner, 34, of Jamestown was charged with felony DWI, DWI per se and inadequate loud exhaust. On Jan. 24 at 11:54 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue in Ellicott for allegedly having an inadequate loud exhaust. It is alleged that the driver – Warner – was intoxicated and had two previous DWI convictions within the past 10 years. Warner was remanded to the county jail without bail.

STATE POLICE

POLAND-Justin D. Cusimano, 31, of Lakewood was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. Justine M. Hancock, 27, of Lakewood was charged with fugitive from justice. On Tuesday, police stopped to assist a driver with a disabled vehicle on Interstate 86 in Poland. A routine computer check of the occupants found that the driver – Cusimano – allegedly had a revoked license and the passenger – Hancock – was allegedly wanted by the Erie County Sheriff’s Department in Erie, Pa., for failing to appear in court on a stolen property charge. Both Cusimano and Hancock were arraigned in Poland Court. Hancock was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail to await extradition proceedings.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Randy L. Stufflebeam, 57, of Kennedy was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. On Monday, at 4:10 p.m., police responded to 896 E. Second St. to assist Jamestown fire services and ALSTAR Ambulance for a reported male slumped over a steering wheel. The male – Stufflebeam – had allegedly passed out from being intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Bernard R. Philbrick, 51, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Wednesday, at 3:15 p.m., police responded to the area of Foote Avenue and Harrison Street for a report of a person with a warrant. Upon arrival, police located Philbrick who had a confirmed arrest warrant for the city of Jamestown. Philbrick also allegedly had a controlled substance. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Jason A. Dale, 35, of Jamestown was charged with felony first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated Family Offense. On Wednesday, at 7:31 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on 820 N. Main St. for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that there was an order of protection for Dale, who was a passenger in the vehicle, to stay away from the female driver. Dale was taken to the city jail to await arraignment. A check of Dale’s criminal history revealed a previous conviction of second-degree criminal contempt making the charge a felony.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Melissa C. Kestler, 35, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of petit larceny. On Monday, at 2:18 p.m., Kestler was charged after allegedly stealing $56.91 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Kestler also allegedly stole $37.94 worth of merchandise Sunday from the same location. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ELLICOTT – Dale J. Warner, 34, of Jamestown, was charged at 11:52 p.m. on Jan. 24 with felony driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and inadequate exhaust. Sheriff’s deputies stopped Warner on Fairmount Avenue in the town of Ellicott for loud exhaust. Following an investigation, Warner was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was found to have two driving while intoxicated convictions within the last 10 years. Warner was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

ELLERY – Nicole E. Berg, 32, of Bemus Point, was charged at 3:02 a.m. on Jan. 24 with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, failure to keep right, refusal to take a roadside breath test, unsafe move from lane and uninspected motor vehicle. Sheriff’s deputies observed a northbound vehicle traveling in the southbound lane of Dutch Hollow Road in the town of Ellery. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Berg. Following an interview, Berg was found to be intoxicated. Berg was arrested, arraigned in Ellery Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ana L. Cruz, 24, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Reynaldo M. Cruz, 25, of Jamestown were charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. On Sunday, at 6:09 p.m., police responded to a reported fight at 230 S. Main St. Upon arrival, police learned that Ana L. Cruz allegedly punched out a window in the door to the residence, gained entry and engaged in a fight with another female inside. It is also alleged that Reynaldo M. Cruz arrived shortly afterward and engaged in the fight. The incident was reportedly in the presence of three small children. Both Ana L. Cruz and Reynaldo M. Cruz were taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Alan D. Feeney, 56, of Falconer was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. On Friday, police responded to a medical call at a Falconer residence. Upon entering the residence, police located Feeney and determined that an order of protection prohibited him from being there. Feeney was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 property bond.

Asia N. Leonard, 20, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault. On Jan. 18, police responded to a reported assault in Celoron. It is alleged that Leonard assaulted another individual with the intent of causing injury. Leonard was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,000 property bond.

Todd A. Bloomberg, 28, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment. Recently, police responded to a possible domestic incident on Fluvanna Avenue Extension involving a vehicle. It is alleged that Bloomberg was using his vehicle to prevent a female victim from getting into another vehicle. Bloomberg was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA-Austin J. Eimers, 22, of Ripley was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, moving from lane unsafely, unsafe tires and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. On Monday, at 1:05 a.m., deputies located a vehicle in a ditch along Route 430 in Chautauqua. The driver – Eimers – was allegedly intoxicated and in possession of concentrated cannabis. He was given an appearance ticket for Chautauqua Court.

BROCTON-Jonathan R. Gregory, 49, of Portland was charged with DWI common law, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more and no turn signal. On Jan. 15, at 11:07 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that allegedly failed to use its turn signal on Fuller Road in Brocton. The driver – Gregory – was allegedly intoxicated. He was given an appearance ticket for Brocton Court.

ASHVILLE-Gregg W. Morrison, 38, of Ashville; McKenzie T. Paulson, 23, of Jamestown; Sarah M. Short, 26, of Panama; and Denver J. Komenda, 40, of Jamestown were all charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Thursday, at 9:01 p.m., deputies and New York State Police checked a residence on Wall Street in North Harmony for Morrison, who was wanted by New York State Parole. During the check, police found Morrison and found that he allegedly possessed a quantity of methamphetamine. Various pills were also found within the residence. All individuals inside were arraigned in North Harmony Court and remanded to the county jail. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and Jamestown Police K9 Mitchell assisted the investigation.

BUSTI POLICE

LAKEWOOD – Tammy L. Dowdy, 41, of Salamanca, was charged with petit larceny on Tuesday at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is alleged that Dowdy concealed $32.79 in cosmetics and pens, then passed the last point of sale without paying for the items. She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Marcus J. Wilson, 31, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal tampering, and endangering the welfare of a child. On Saturday around 1:56 a.m., Jamestown police responded to 68 Durant Ave. for a report of a domestic violence incident. Upon arrival, officers located Wilson, who was reportedly intoxicated. While on the scene, officers learned Wilson had become upset with a female victim and began pouring beer all over the kitchen, after which he dumped beer all over the bed in which the victim was sleeping. Both events occurred in front of a female minor, whom Wilson had been yelling at. During the investigation, officers located two “kung fu” stars hanging on the wall in the bedroom. He was arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Jillian R. Matthews, 19, of 51 Sturges St., was charged with third-degree assault and aggravated family offense. On Friday around 11:30 p.m., Jamestown police responded to the residence following a report of a female victim yelling for help. Officers located the disturbance in an upper apartment, where there was loud yelling and alleged fighting. Further investigation revealed Matthews reportedly invited a female victim over to the residence, after which a fight ensued. During the altercation, Matthews allegedly punched and kicked the victim numerous times, causing injury. She was arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ALLEGANY – Kyle Anthony Coddington, 18, of 4115 S. Nine Mile Road, lot 34, Allegany, was arrested on Jan. 16. Coddington was wanted on a violation of probation warrant. He was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail to await arraignment.

LAKEWOOD – Holden M. Snyder, 22, of 10968 Jamestown Road, Randolph, was charged Wednesday at 11:49 p.m. with driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to keep right, improper turn, light transmittance under 70 percent and unlawful possession of marijuana. A police officer observed Snyder making an improper turn and failing to keep his vehicle to the right on the roadway on East Fairmount Avenue. Police said Snyder was found with marijuana and allegedly driving under the influence of drugs. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Brenda L. Horr, 37, of Westfield was charged with felony driving while intoxicated-Leandra’s Law, felony DWI-prior conviction within 10 years, DWI per se, speed unreasonable and prudent, failure to stop at stop sign, moving from lane unsafely, unlicensed operator, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. On Jan. 7, at 11:30 p.m., deputies located a vehicle in a ditch on Route 394 in Chautauqua. Horr was found to be the driver of the vehicle and alleged to be intoxicated. She was arraigned in Sherman Court and remanded to the county jail without bail.

DUNKIRK – Brian B. Ward, 23, of Dunkirk was charged with DWI, failure to maintain lane, speed not reasonable or prudent and refusal to take breath test. On Sunday, at 2:38 a.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle accident involving a tree. The driver – Ward – was found in the driver seat and taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. It is alleged that Ward was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk City Court.

CHERRY CREEK – Nathan A. Kohler, 29, of Forestville was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, failure to keep right, no interlock device and no seatbelt. On Sunday, at 12:09 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that allegedly committed a traffic violation on Southside Avenue in Cherry Creek. The driver – Kohler – allegedly had a small quantity of marijuana. It is also alleged that Kohler had revoked driving privileges. He was issued an appearance ticket to Cherry Creek Court.

FREDONIA – Erlyssa M. Lebeau, 31, of Fredonia was charged with DWI, DWI per se, no headlamps, no tail lamps and no turn signal. On Sunday, at 3:40 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for alleged traffic infractions on Chestnut Street in Fredonia. The driver – Lebeau – was allegedly intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket to Fredonia Court.

MINA – Craig W. Breter, 61, of Findley Lake was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. On Saturday, at 11:26 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 430 in Mina for allegedly committing several traffic infractions. The driver -Breter – was allegedly intoxicated. He was given an appearance ticket to Mina Court.

SILVER CREEK – Marcie E. Martin, 50, of Sheridan was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. On Saturday, at 11:37 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly committing a traffic violation on Route 20 in Silver Creek. The driver – Martin – was allegedly intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket to Silver Creek Court.

STATE POLICE

POMFRET – Tomas Confer, 25, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree driving while ability impaired by drugs and moving from lane unsafely. On Sunday, State Police based in Fredonia pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for allegedly crossing the fog line twice. It is alleged that the driver – Confer – was impaired by drugs. He was given an appearance ticket to Pomfret Court and will appear on Feb. 9.

SHERMAN – Gordon D. Cummings, 26, of Warrensville, Ohio, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance not in original container, unlicensed operation and inadequate exhaust. On Jan. 14, at 1 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle that reportedly had a loud exhaust on Interstate 86 in Sherman. It is alleged that the driver – Cummings – did not have a valid driver’s license and was in possession of Tramadol pills without a prescription. Cummings was arraigned in Sherman Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Lisa M. Mattoon, 45, of Jamestown was charged with failure to maintain lane, refusal of roadside alert test, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI. On Monday, at 1:23 a.m., police responded to a reported vehicle accident at the intersection of Fairmount Avenue and Lovall Avenue. Upon arrival, police found a vehicle that had swerved off of Fairmount Avenue and into the backyard of 12 Lovall Ave. It is alleged that the driver – Mattoon – was intoxicated. She was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Jessica L. McAdoo, 22, was charged with petit larceny and two counts of Jamestown bench warrants. On Tuesday, at 11:44 p.m., police responded to Family Dollar at 41 S. Main St. for a reported disorderly subject. It is alleged that McAdoo stole several items from the store. She was located outside the store and taken to city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Askia K. Faison, 19, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree attempted robbery, third-degree assault and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Tuesday, at 4:11 a.m., police responded to a reported assault in progress in the area of Falconer Street and Lakeview Avenue. It was alleged that two males assaulted another male. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who provided a description of one of the suspects. A male – Faison – who matched the description was being detained by an Ellicott police officer who was assisting in the area. Faison was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court. The victim was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment.

Silk E. Spencer, 28, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child resisting arrest, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, second-degree coercion and aggravated Family Offense. On Sunday, at 11 p.m., police responded to a reported domestic dispute at 217 Newland Ave. Upon arrival, officers heard a loud noise from the residence. Police attempted to make entry into the upper apartment, but Spencer allegedly prevented a victim from letting them inside. Spencer was later found hiding underneath a bed. After a brief struggle, he was taken into custody. The victim alleged that Spencer came to the residence unannounced and began an argument. The incident occurred in front of a two-year-old child. Spencer was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

Michael L. Kennedy, 37, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. On Wednesday, at 12:55 a.m., police responded to 66 Liberty St. Apt. 1 for a reported verbal domestic incident. It is alleged that two individuals were engaged in an argument. One of the individuals-Kennedy-had an order of protection requiring him to stay away from the other individual. Kennedy was taken to city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Robert P. Bargy, 51, of Jamestown was charged after allegedly shoplifting a $595 leather jacket from the Harley Davidson store in Falconer. The incident involved Bargy and another male suspect entering the store on Dec. 3. It was captured on surveillance video and screen shots were sent to local media. Police learned the identity of Bargy and recently took him into custody. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

Joseph M. Krebs 37, of Buffalo was charged with failure to maintain lane, moving from lane unsafely, uninspected motor vehicle and DWI. On Jan. 10, at 3 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly passing over the center lines and fog line multiple times on Route 60. The driver – Krebs – was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

Jonathan Vega Rivera, 23, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree felony criminal contempt, third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment. On Thursday, at noon, police responded to a possible order of protection violation. It is alleged that Rivera struck a female multiple times in the head while in front of an 8-month-old child. He also allegedly refused to let her get out of the vehicle. Rivera was scheduled appear in court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kayelynn A. Graham, 19, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Friday, at 5:30 p.m., Graham was charged after allegedly stealing $149.71 worth of clothing from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was issued an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

Brandon M. Dailey, 22, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Thursday, at 8 p.m., Dailey was charged after allegedly concealing $38.21 of various clothing items in his jacket and stealing them from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He was issued an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

Jessie Wolfgang, 29, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was charged with petit larceny. On Jan. 11, at 5:45 p.m., Wolfgang was charged after allegedly stealing $226.04 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He was issued an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment. On Dec. 29, at 10 p.m., police received three reports of someone throwing railroad stones at moving vehicles as they traveled down Chautauqua Avenue in Lakewood. It is alleged that the 14-year-old juvenile was on the railroad tracks and threw stones at moving vehicles as they traveled down the road, causing substantial damage. The juvenile was scheduled to appear in Family Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

KIANTONE-Stacey Lutgen, 34, of Jamestown was charged with speed not reasonable. On Wednesday, at 6:48 a.m., Lutgen reportedly lost control of her vehicle on a curve while traveling east on Route 62 in Kiantone. Her vehicle struck another vehicle driven by 52-year-old Christine Peterson of Steamburg. Lutgen, her six-month-old daughter and Peterson were not injured despite heavy damage to both vehicles. Lutgen was given an appearance ticket for Kiantone Court.

FRENCH CREEK-Reed J. Coccarelli, 19, of Ripley was charged with fifth-degree possession of stolen property. An investigation was conducted after two pairs of snowboarding boots were reported missing from Peak n’ Peak resort. It is alleged that Coccarelli had the boots. He was given an appearance ticket for French Creek Court.

FRENCH CREEK-Sylvia Whiteley, 42, of Union City, Pennsylvania, was charged with petit larceny. When management at the Peek n’ Peak resort noticed monies missing from the front desk at the Main Inn, investigators responded and determined that Whiteley – an employee – had allegedly stolen $100 from the money drawer behind the front desk. Whiteley was given an appearance ticket for French Creek Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sean N. Calhoun, 24, of Kennedy was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. At 1:14 a.m., police stopped Calhoun, who was operating his vehicle with no headlights or taillights. Upon further investigation, Calhoun was found to have allegedly been intoxicated. He was charged after his blood alcohol content was found to be greater than .18 percent. Calhoun was transported to Jamestown City Jail and released to come back to court at a later date for his arraignment.

Cody C. Walters, 24, of Jamestown was charged Sunday following a traffic stop. At 11:53 a.m., police observed Walters operating his vehicle while having a suspended driver’s license. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle, at which time Walters exited the vehicle and attempted to walk away. Officers advised Walters to stop and he refused. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle and officers located a small amount of marijuana on his person. Walters was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Wayne Berg, 72, of Jamestown was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. On Thursday, at 6:46 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle that allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of Winsor and Falconer streets. The driver – Berg – was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Carrie M. Abbey, 39, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. On Monday, at 9:46 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call from a 79 Hazzard St. address. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female victim who alleged that Abbey damaged her bedroom door and punched her. The victim also alleged that this occurred in the presence of a small child. Abbey was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brenda L. Waygood was charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. On Friday, at 6 p.m., police charged Waygood after she allegedly stole $134.31 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is also alleged that she had a quantity of marijuana. She was given an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

Tomas R. Lawson, 34, of Ashville was charged with speeding, unlawful possession of marijuana and three counts of possession of a controlled substance outside original container. On Saturday, at 2:19 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Baker Street Extension in Busti. It is alleged that the driver – Lawson – was in possession of marijuana and multiple controlled substances outside of their original container. Lawson was scheduled to appear in Busti Court.

Michelle J. Moriarty, 28, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Wednesday, at 5:45 p.m., Moriarty was charged after allegedly stealing $34.35 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Tracenna M. Moncrief, 32, of Jamestown was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. On Dec. 23, it is alleged that Moncrief used a victim’s vehicle without permission while the victim was in the Chautauqua County Jail. Moncrief reportedly got into a vehicle accident in the Jamestown. She was scheduled to answer the charge in Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE-William E. Osthagen, 45, of Mayville was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater, no/inadequate muffler and suspended registration. On Sunday, at 1:56 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on North Erie Street in Mayville for an alleged equipment violation. The driver-Osthagen-was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Betty J. Hicks, 52, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. On Friday, at 3:45 p.m., Hicks was served appearance tickets in connection to a welfare fraud investigation. It is alleged that Hicks failed to report that her son was working and had income on two separate applications that were filed to the county’s Department of Health and Human Services. As a result, Hicks reportedly received $2,162 in unentitled benefits from Dec. 1, 2014, to June 30, 2015. Hicks was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

IRVING-Antoinette M. Sicurella, 66, of Irving was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or higher. On Saturday, at 6:40 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly moving erratically on Route 5 and Route 20 in Hanover. The driver-Sicurella-was allegedly intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court.

GERRY-Edwin Sanchez Jr., 36, of Gerry was charged with DWI. On Sunday, at 6 a.m., police responded to a reported domestic incident at Sanchez’s resident. It is alleged that Sanchez had driven home from a party while intoxicated. His BAC was .11 percent. He was scheduled to appear in Gerry Court.

SHERMAN-Charles M. Kennedy, 32, of Corry, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Brandon E. Newby, 28, of Mayville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Saturday, at 4:30 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle for allegedly failing to keep right on Mount Pleasant Road in Sherman. It is alleged that the driver – Kennedy – had a suspended license. It is also alleged that heroin, fentanyl patches and drug paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle. A passenger – Newby – was given an appearance ticket for Sherman Court. Kennedy was also scheduled to appear in Sherman Court.

Leah M. Clark, 44, of Ashville was charged with DWI. On Saturday, at 1:30 a.m., police pulled over Clark for allegedly failing to use a turn signal on East Second Street in Jamestown. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.

Cathy A. Ratajczak. 50, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, failure to use designated lane, inadequate head lights, refusal to submit to pre-screen test, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. On Thursday, at 12:46 a.m., police observed a minivan that allegedly failed to keep right and maintain its designated lane while traveling east on East Second Street. After pulling over the vehicle at Tiffany Street, police determined that the driver – Ratajczak – was intoxicated. Her blood alcohol content was reportedly three times the legal limit. She was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

KIANTONE-Larry L. Hicks, 35, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane. On Thursday, at 12 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 Kiantone for an alleged traffic infraction. The driver – Hicks – allegedly had revoked driving privileges due to prior drug and alcohol-related convictions. He was arraigned in Kiantone Court and remanded to the county jail.

ELLERY-Dontae J. Lockett, 21, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, DWI per se, speed in zone, unlicensed operator, failure to keep right and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. On Sunday, at 12:38 a.m., deputies pulled over Lockett’s vehicle on Bemus-Ellery Road in Ellery for allegedly speeding and failing to keep right. Lockett was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ellery Court.

CHARLOTTE-Matthew Foster, 25, of Jamestown was charged with operating a motor vehicle without and inspection certificate, operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, no plate lamp and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Wednesday, State Police based in Fredonia pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Charlotte for allegedly having no plate lamps. The driver – Foster – was allegedly in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Charlotte Court on Jan. 12.

POMFRET-Hector CarilloSantos, 28, of Jamestown was charged with unlicensed operator, failure to dim headlights and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Monday, State Police based in Fredonia pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for allegedly failing to dim its high beams. The driver – CarilloSantos – allegedly possessed marijuana and had a suspended driver’s license. He will appear in Pomfret Court on Jan. 19.

Keith R. Tout, 29, of Cattaraugus was charged with petit larceny. On Dec. 30, police responded to the Schwan’s business office on South Dow Street, where it was reported that a former employee – Tout – took money from the business on two separate occasions instead of making a deposit. Tout was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

Tyrlek J. Johnson, 23, of Bronx and Sandrew S. Gauvy, 20, of Brooklyn face shoplifting charges. On Monday, at 4:20 p.m., police responded to the Dollar General store in Falconer where Johnson and Gauvy had allegedly stolen merchandise. They were given appearance tickets for Ellicott Court.

Dennis J. Harmon Jr., 31, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, at 9 p.m., police responded to Wegmans, located at 945 Fairmount Ave., where Harmon allegedly stole items from the store. He was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

Ronald McClaran Sr., 49, and Cindi K. McClaran, 48, both of Falconer, were charged with disorderly conduct. On Monday, at 6:15 a.m., police responded to a reported domestic dispute in Falconer. It is alleged that both McClarans were having an argument outside on their front porch and refused to go inside their residence after officers told them to go inside. Both reportedly created unnecessary noise in the neighborhood. They were arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Aaron R. Simmons, 22, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Saturday, at 7:10 p.m., Simmons was charged after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FORESTVILLE-Christina M. Lemk, 26, of Perrysburg was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely and driving across hazard markings. On Sunday, deputies responded to Route 39 in Hanover for a report of a one-vehicle property damage accident. It is alleged that the driver – Lemk – drove across hazard markings, veered off the road and struck a tree. Lemk was allegedly intoxicated and a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years. She was arraigned in Hanover Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

KIANTONE – Lucas Wolfgang, 27, of Jamestown was charged with felony DWI and moving from lane unsafely. On Dec. 25, at 1:17 a.m., deputies and members of the Kiantone Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle crash on Route 62 in Kiantone. The driver – Wolfgang – was allegedly intoxicated and had a prior driving conviction from Pennsylvania. Wolfgang was taken to WCA Hospital for medical treatment. He was scheduled to appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT-Patrick S. Rockwell, 26, of Milan, Ohio, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Monday, police pulled over Rockwell for allegedly speeding on Interstate 86 in Ellicott. It is alleged that Rockwell had 159 grams of hashish in the form of hashish butter, oil, capsules and candy. He also allegedly had marijuana. Rockwell was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

RANDOLPH-Devin M. Parker, 20, of Conewango Valley was charged with two felony counts of third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Melissa L. Lindberg, 21, of Randolph was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. On Jan.1, police responded to a reported domestic incident in Randolph. It is alleged that Lindberg menaced Parker with a knife in the presence of a child. Parker allegedly slashed a mattress and broke a cellphone belonging to Lindberg. Both were arraigned in Randolph Court and scheduled to appear at a later date.

CHARLOTTE-Benjamain J. Torres, 22, of Cassadaga was charged with felony second-degree assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. On Dec. 28, police charged Torres after a two-week investigation into a reported assault at a Dec. 12 party in Charlotte. It is alleged that Torres assaulted a victim, resulting in a broken jaw, nose and a concussion. Torres was arraigned in Charlotte Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Andrew S. Flores, 57, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating with no headlights, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent and refusing alert test. On Saturday, 8:02 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle that allegedly had no headlights in the area of Harrison Street and Foote Avenue, and that later failed to keep right and side swiped another vehicle on Harrison Street. The driver – Flores – was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at the Jamestown City Court.

Michael P. Hecht, 34, of Jamestown was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. On Saturday, at 7:30 a.m., police responded to 170 Baker St. for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival, police observed a man – Hecht – allegedly attempting to flee from a second-story window. Officers made contact with a female victim and later found Hecht hiding in an attic crawl space. Hecht was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court. The investigation also revealed that Hecht was wanted by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office on several outstanding warrants.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brian A. Smith, 33, of Ashville was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. On Dec. 29, at 6:05 a.m., Smith was pulled over on Shadyside Road in Busti for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that he had 14 grams of marijuana in his possession. He was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Jennifer L. Davidson, 40, of Ashville was charged with DWI, DWI per se, speed in zone and driving over hazard markings. On Friday, at 1:14 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Hunt Road in Busti that was allegedly speeding and driving over the hazard markings on the road. It is alleged that the driver – Davidson – was intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Lynne A. Lewis, 21, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Saturday, at 7:10 p.m., Lewis was charged after allegedly stealing $73.32 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brittany N. Brown, 26, of Jamestown was charged with assault. On Dec. 29, police responded to a local business for a report of two employees fighting. It is alleged that Brown punched a victim numerous times in the head and later kicked the victim in the head. Brown was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

Noah J. Soto, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree aggravated harassment and aggravated Family Offense. On Dec. 23, Soto was charged after violating an order of protection. Further investigation alleged that Sota had a previous conviction of domestic violence.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-Travis L. Perkins, 39, of Dunkirk was charged with felony DWI, DWI per se with a BAC of .08 percent or higher, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operator, operate outside interlock restriction, unlicensed operator and failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change. On Saturday, at 11:47 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Howard Street in Silver Creek because its driver – Perkins – allegedly had revoked driving privileges for a previous DWI conviction. It is alleged that Perkins was intoxicated and his vehicle was not equipped with an interlock device. Perkins was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and taken to the county jail.

CLYMER-Donald M. Miller III, 24, of Clymer was charged with second-degree harassment. On Saturday, at 12:45 a.m., deputies responded to an alleged domestic disturbance on Pekin Hill Road in French Creek. It is alleged that Miller got into a physical altercation with another person at the residence. Miller was scheduled to appear in French Creek Court.

Dennis L. Maczaczyj, 53, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, DWI and aggravated DWI. On Friday, at 2:53 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle accident on West Fourth Street in Jamestown. It is alleged that a driver – Maczaczyj – was intoxicated and had struck a parking meter. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT-Donald W. Dean, 41, of Jamestown was charged with failure to use designated lane, failure to comply, unlawful possession of marijuana, felony driving while ability impaired by drugs, and first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation. On Friday, at 12:02 a.m., deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue in Ellicott for allegedly failure to use a designated lane. The driver reportedly failed to comply and led deputies on a short pursuit before coming to a stop. The driver – Dean – was allegedly impaired by drugs and was in possession of marijuana and other drugs. Dean allegedly had a previous DWI conviction in the past 10 years and suspended driving privileges. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA-Teri M. Rowe, 28, of Milroy, Pennsylvania, was charged with failure to keep right, crossing hazard markings, DWI and DWI per se. On Dec. 27, at 2 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 394 in Chautauqua for allegedly crossing the center line and fog line of the road. The driver – Rowe – was allegedly intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Christopher R. Hoeft, 24, of Mayville was charged with parking on pavement, DWI and DWI per se. On Dec. 26, at 11:54 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that allegedly stopped and parked in the lane of traffic in the area of Sea Lion Drive and Lakeview Avenue in Mayville. It is alleged that the driver – Hoeft – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD-Carrie C. McCausland, 37, of Westfield was charged with parking on pavement, DWI and DWI per se. On Dec. 23, at 3:06 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle parked in a lane of traffic on Hardenberg Road in Westfield. It is alleged that the driver – McCausland – was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Kathleen M. Dean, 44, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree welfare fraud, third-degree grand larceny, misuse of food stamps and 11 counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. On Dec. 31, at 11 :45 a.m., police served appearance tickets to Dean after the conclusion of a welfare fraud investigation. It is alleged that Dean claimed a child in her household for many years when the child actually lived with the father in Pennsylvania. Over the last five years, it is alleged that Dean repeatedly filed recertification applications for food stamps which falsely indicated that the child was living with her. As a result, she reportedly obtained $8,769 in unentitled food stamp benefits. Dean will be arraigned on Jan. 28.

SILVER CREEK-Antonio M. Wiggins, 39, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Depree S. Gamble, 24, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and unregistered motor vehicle. Henry Reyes, 36, of Jamestown was charged with consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle. On Dec. 29, at 12:59 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Sheridan for alleged traffic violations. The driver-Gamble-allegedly had suspended driving privileges. A passenger-Reyes-allegedly had an open container or alcohol. Another passenger – Wiggins – allegedly had more than two ounces of marijuana and a quantity of narcotic pills. Wiggins also reportedly had an active warrant from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. All were scheduled to appear Silver Creek Court.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA – Bridget M. Bardo, of Salamanca, was charged at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 30 with criminal sale of a controlled substance in or near school grounds and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested Bardo at her 60 Waite Ave. residence in the city of Salamanca on an arrest warrant out of Cattaraugus County Court. Bardo was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail where she awaits arraignment in court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

FALCONER – Amanda A. Campbell, 33, of Falconer, was charged at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 with unlawful possession of marijuana. Ellicott police stopped a vehicle for an observed vehicle traffic infraction. Upon further investigation, Campbell was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Officers issued an appearance ticket and Campbell will appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

Eric R. Lewis, 28, of Falconer, was charged on Jan. 1 with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on other charges. On Oct. 6, the Ellicott Police Department responded to a residential burglary on Strunk Road where a number of items had been stolen from the home. Over several weeks, the department investigated three other similar daytime burglaries in the town with similar items stolen from homes. Ellicott police officers were informed of other agencies’ burglaries and matched that of the ones that occurred in the town. Detectives located jewelry items at a local stores which was positively identified by the homeowners on Strunk Road. Police also learned that Lewis had allegedly brought the stolen jewelry into the store on the same day of the burglary. Lewis was identified as the person who sold the items to the store and was later charged.

Stephanie M. Stanford, 45, of Jamestown, was charged at 1:54 p.m. on Jan. 1 with speed in zone, failure to keep right, failure to comply with a lawful order, driving while intoxicated common law and driving while intoxicated per se .08 percent or more blood alcohol concentration. Ellicott officers attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on Fairmount Avenue. After observing the vehicle failing to keep right and failing to comply, the vehicle finally came to a stop. Upon investigation, it is alleged that Stanford was driving while intoxicated. Stanford was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date to answer charges.

On Jan. 12, 2015, the Ellicott Police Department was contacted by a victim who alleged their credit card was stolen and had obtained several unauthorized transactions to the account. The cardholder supplied account information and police were able to trace the transactions and locations made on the account. Surveillance video of the transactions were later obtained at the locations which did show a suspect using the victim’s card. Police later learned that the suspect in the video was Zachary W. Schwartz, 20, of Mayville, but he had fled New York state. Ellicott Police filed arrest warrants for Schwartz and was picked up by police on Dec. 24 in the Chautauqua County Jail. Schwartz was arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and released to appear at a later date.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

John E. Baran II, of Sugar Grove, was charged on Jan. 1 with simple assault, harassment and resisting arrest. The incident occurred as a report of a physical altercation that had taken place at a private residence on Fiddler Hill Road. Upon arrival, Baran was taken into custody following a struggle with troopers. Baran was placed in the Warren County Jail.
