JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Michael J. Dove Jr., 43, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and trespassing. On Thursday, at 6:44 p.m., police responded to 341 S. Main St. for a reported fight on a front porch. Upon arrival, police learned that a suspect – Dove – fled the scene. It is alleged that Dove punched out a glass window and was trespassing on the property. Officers found Dove hiding next to a shed. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
Jacob M. Komenda, 19, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Friday, at 2:30 a.m., police responded to a West Fourth Street address for a reported domestic dispute in progress. It is alleged that Komenda destroyed a victim’s cellphone and then destroyed the house phone while the victim attempted to call for emergency assistance. Komenda was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
Edward E. Leeper, 37, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. On Thursday at 11 p.m., police responded to a domestic incident that allegedly occurred at 251 Fulton St. It is alleged that Leeper engaged in a verbal and physical altercation with a victim. Leeper was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
Stephanie D. Lockett, 32, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault. On Thursday at midnight, police responded to a fight on Hedges Avenue. It is alleged that Lockett stabbed a victim in the right shoulder with a steak knife. This occurred during an alleged domestic incident. Lockett was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Shilla M. Stilson, 40, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Dec. 22 at 4:30 p.m., Stilson was charged after allegedly stealing $35.79 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.
Marcia K. Parenti, 46, of Ashville was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating with suspended registration. On Thursday at 7:22 p.m., police pulled over Parenti’s vehicle for allegedly having a suspended registration. It is alleged that Parenti was also intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.
Colin L. Hawkings was charged with speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Friday at 11:06 a.m., police pulled over Hawkings after allegedly speeding in the area of Hunt Road and Mall Boulevard. It is alleged that Hawkings had a small amount of marijuana in his possession. He was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.
Janie L. D. Blakey, 18, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Dec. 23 at 6:25 p.m., police charged Blakey for allegedly stealing $36.78 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Michael A. Orazio, 45, of Falconer was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Dec. 23, police responded to a shoplifting report at the Dollar General store in Falconer. It is alleged that Orazio stole items from the store. It is also alleged that he was in possession of a controlled substance. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court. Ellicott police were assisted by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force at the scene.
Matthew A. Rudy, 33, of Jamestown was charged with DWI per se, DWI, possession of an open container and moving from lane unsafely. On Saturday at 11:40 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle that allegedly made an improper turn from West Main Street onto North Work Street. The vehicle was also allegedly moving in the middle of the road. Police determined that the driver – Rudy – was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.
Ricky L. Houser, 51, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Saturday, at 11 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle for an observed traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Houser – was in possession of marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
POMFRET-Emily Steinwachs, 24, of Cassadaga was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings. On Saturday, deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for alleged traffic violations. It is alleged that the driver-Steinwachs-was intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket for Pomfret Court.
SILVER CREEK-Frederick H. Gutekunst, 24, of Dunkirk was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Saturday, at 6:15 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Main Street in Silver Creek for an alleged traffic infraction. It is alleged that the driver – Gutekunst – was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, a digital scale and various drug paraphernalia. He was scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK-Gilberto Rosas Jr., 45, of Silver Creek was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Raul Rivera Jr., 25, of Buffalo was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Thursday at 3:11 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a vehicles’s tires being slashed at the Village Inn in Silver Creek. Deputies located Rosas and Rivera and determined that both were allegedly involved in damaging the vehicle. They were scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Court.
RIPLEY-Jose D. Dunn, 43, of Northeast, Pa. was charged with fugitive from justice. On Saturday at 1:11 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Shortman Road in Ripley after the driver allegedly failed to dim the headlights. It was determined that the driver – Dunn – was wanted on a warrant out of DeKalb County, Georgia, for failing to appear. Dunn was arraigned in Ripley Court and remanded to the county jail to await extradition to Georgia.

ELLINGTON – Terrence A. Musall, 30, of Cherry Creek was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, using a vehicle with no interlock device, criminal possession of a controlled substance, forged inspection sticker and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. On Dec. 21, police pulled over Musall’s vehicle on Bentley Hill Road in Ellington. A computer check found that Musall’s license was allegedly revoked for DWI and an interlock device was not present in the vehicle. He was also allegedly in possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Ellery Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

MAYVILLE – Julie M. Williams, 37, of Sinclairville was charged Thursday with three counts of first-degree offering false instrument for filing, fourth – degree grand larceny, fourth-degree welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps. At 3:10 p.m., investigators served appearance tickets to Williams to Jamestown City Court. It is alleged that Williams’ husband began working and Williams failed to report this income to the Department of Health and Human Services as required. Moreover, it is alleged that Williams filed three separate applications containing false information to further conceal the income. She reportedly received $2,610 in unentitled SNAP benefits between Oct. 1, 2013 and July 31. She was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.
POMFRET – Samuel D. Serafin, 26, of Lakeview was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, speeding in 55 mph zone, no seat belt and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 9:36 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver-Serafin-was driving with a suspended license and possessed marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in Pomfret Court.
MAYVILLE – David R. Ralph II, 26, of Westfield was taken into custody Thursday for an alleged violation of probation. He was remanded to the county jail and scheduled to appear in Chautauqua County Court at a later date.
SHERMAN – Michael P. Morvay, 39, of Willoughby, Ohio, was charged on Dec. 11 with DWI, DWI per se, unlicensed operator and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At 11:58 p.m., deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Morris Street in Mayville. Upon arrival, they reportedly observed a vehicle going through a lawn then stopping on the road. The male driver – Morvay – exited the vehicle and walked into a row of trees. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sherman Court.

Martin L. Seekings, 52, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with DWI and failure to keep right. At 11:30 p.m., police pulled over Seekings after his vehicle swerved over the line on East Second Street. It is alleged that Seekings was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
POLAND – David J. Huber, 52, of Falconer was charged Friday with DWI and failure to keep right. After police responded to a vehicle accident on Quaint Road in Poland, they determined that a driver involved – Huber – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Poland Court at a later date.

Jesse R. Jones of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. On Tuesday, at 10:13 a.m., police responded to Covenant Manor at 23 W. Third St. for a reported criminal mischief complaint. Officers spoke with an individual who alleged that a man had gained entry into the building shortly after 2 a.m. by breaking the lock on the secure door. Police identified the suspect – Jones – through surveillance footage and located him in Room 709 of the building. Jones was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Garson E. Butcher, 23, of Celoron was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Monday, at 11:56 p.m., police pulled over Butcher’s vehicle on Fairmount Avenue for an alleged traffic violation. Butcher was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell along with marijuana. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
John J. Lisciandro, 54, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Monday, at 5:30 p.m., police responded to Fairmount Avenue for a reported erratic driver in the area. It is alleged that the driver – Lisciandro – was in possession of Hydrocodone tablets without a valid prescription. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Brandi E. Briggs, 21, of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct and unreasonable noise. On Sunday, at 7 p.m., police responded to loud music complaint at 3 S. Chicago Ave. The individuals inside the home were reportedly given multiple warnings about their music. Briggs was charged and will appear in Ellicott Court on Jan. 5 at 6 p.m.

Michael D. Hulings, 37, was charged Saturday with no/inadequate lights, failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 2:03 a.m., police observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Foote Avenue without headlights. As police attempted to pulled over the vehicle, it drove over a curb on Foote Avenue and continued down the sidewalk for a short while. The driver – Hulings – was allegedly intoxicated. A chemical test later determined that his blood alcohol content was reportedly three times the legal limit. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

A 17-year-old Ripley male was charged Saturday with petit larceny. At 8:20 p.m., the male was caught by Wal-Mart loss prevention after allegedly stealing an expensive phone case from the store. He was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

At 11:53 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on West Fairmount Avenue. The driver-Brooks-was allegedly intoxicated. She was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail and scheduled to appear in Busti Court.
Beverly L. Campbell, 55, of Jamestown was charged on Dec. 12 with felony DWI, aggravated DWI and unsafe backing. At 12:17 p.m., police responded to a vehicle accident on Busti Sugargrove Road. Upon arrival, police located Campbell. It is alleged that Campbell missed her turn on Busti Sugargrove Road, and when she put her vehicle in reverse, she struck another vehicle on the road. It is alleged that Campbell was intoxicated with a BAC three times the legal limit. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and scheduled to appear in Busti Court.
Donald A. Hollmon, 50, of Jamestown was charged on Dec. 16 with felony DWI, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, refusing pre-screen and no insurance in effect. At 9:30 p.m., it is alleged that Hollmon attempted to make a U-turn in the road and ended up stuck in a ditch. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. Hollmon was also allegedly convicted of DWI in the last 10 years. He was committed to the county jail and scheduled to appear in Busti Court.
Brett M. Cappa, 41, of Jamestown was charged Friday with DWI and speed in zone. At 12:14 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on South Main Street Extension in Busti. It is alleged that the driver – Cappa – was intoxicated. Cappa was scheduled to appear in Busti Court.
Ivette DeJesus, 39, of Jamestown was charged on Dec. 14 with petit larceny. At 6:50 p.m., DeJesus was charged after allegedly stealing $88.93 worth of health and beauty products from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

POMFRET-Julio Enrique Figueroa Morales, 23, of Puerto Rico was charged Sunday with DWI, aggravated DWI with child in vehicle, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more and moving from lane unsafely. At 3 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for an alleged traffic violation. The driver-Morales-was allegedly intoxicated. A two-year-old child and a five-month-old child were passengers inside the vehicle. Morales was remanded to the county jail on $5,000 cash or $20,000 property bond. He was scheduled to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
NORTH HARMONY-Kenneth Wiggins, 55, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator and speed not reasonable and prudent. At 2:40 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle rollover accident on Open Meadows Road in North Harmony. It is alleged that the driver – Wiggins – did not have a driver’s license and his driving privileges had been revoked on multiple occasions for alcohol-related issues. Wiggins was scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.
MAYVILLE-David E. Johnson, 55, of Mayville was charged Saturday with no tail lamps, DWI and aggravated DWI per se. At 1:34 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on South Erie Street in Mayville for allegedly operating without tail lights. The driver – Johnson – was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
SHERMAN-Angus R. Calhoun, 24, of Sherman was charged Friday with failure to signal turn, unlicensed operator, failure to take roadside breath test, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI and refusal to submit breath test. At 12:01 a.m., deputies pulled over Calhoun’s vehicle on Hart Street in Sherman for allegedly failing to signal a turn. It is alleged that Calhoun had a suspended license and was intoxicated. He reportedly refused to submit a chemical test. Calhoun was remanded to the county jail without bail.

Sarah J. Nickerson, 34, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Jimmy A. Schauers Jr., 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. On Thursday at 11:42 a.m., police were dispatched to 41 S. Main St. for a larceny complaint at the Dollar General store. Officers located Nickerson and Schauers allegedly involved in the larceny at the scene. It is alleged that Nickerson had stolen items in her possession. It is further alleged that there was a valid order of protection for Schauers to stay away from Nickerson. Both were taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Brandon R. Philbrick, 22, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and second-degree using drug paraphernalia. On Friday at 1 a.m., police pulled over Philbrick’s vehicle in the area of Prospect Street and Prather Avenue. It is alleged that Philbrick was operating the vehicle with a suspended license and in possession of a hypodermic instrument. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Noah James Soto, 34, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated family offense. On Thursday at 7:30 a.m., a 27-year-old female fled her home with her 13-month-old daughter to the Jamestown Police Department. Earlier that morning, it is alleged that Soto became upset when he could not find clean socks and realized there were dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. Soto allegedly broke kitchen items and struck the victim in the head with a coffee cup in front of their daughter. Soto was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Stephen E. Carlson, 39, of Jamestown was charged with unnecessary noise, resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. On Thursday at 2:35 p.m., police responded to a 68 W. 10th St. address for a reported disorderly person. Upon arrival, officers could allegedly hear Carlson yelling from two houses away. When police made contact with him, Carlson allegedly attempted to flee. After a brief struggle, he was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court, police said.
Alyssa R. Payne, 24, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Monday at 4:40 p.m., police responded to Dollar General on Foote Avenue for a reported shoplifter. Upon arrival, police located Payne who allegedly stole $40.12 worth of merchandise from the store. She was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Jesse L. Norrod, 34, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of unlawful imprisonment. On Dec. 3 at 9:51 p.m., police responded to 10 Columbia Ave. for a reported physical domestic. It is alleged that Norrod held a female victim and her son during an altercation and refused to let them leave. Norrod allegedly fought with his girlfriend and her children during the incident. Norrod was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.
John T. Peterson, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing. On Thursday at 1:09 a.m., police responded to 179 S. Main St. for a report of a male threatening a female with a gun. After speaking with the female victim, officers determined that Peterson allegedly pointed a shotgun at the victim and threatened to kill her. Peterson was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Michael A. Davis, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unnecessary noise. Angela D. Clark, 41, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, unnecessary noise and second-degree assault. On Tuesday at 10:15 p.m., police responded to 54 McKinley Ave. for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival, police spoke with Clark who allegedly became disorderly and uncooperative. Davis then reportedly came out from the back of the residence with a garden hoe and attempted to come at the officers. Davis was taken into custody without incident. While officers were attending to Davis, Clark allegedly slammed the door on police and refused to comply with orders. When she came back out, she reportedly continued to act disorderly and use profanity. Clark allegedly kicked an officer and caused minor injury while being placed in a patrol vehicle. Both Davis and Clark were taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT – Jason J. Brown, 40, of Falconer was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. On Thursday at 9 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance in Falconer. It is alleged that Brown destroyed property belonging to another person. It is also alleged that Brown pushed the victim onto the floor in the residence. Brown was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.
ELLICOT – Frank L. Meier of Clymer was charged with obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct. On Dec. 9 at 1 p.m., Meier allegedly became disorderly during a narcotics investigation. He also allegedly failed to comply with officers when they told him to calm down and leave the area. Meier was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.
ELLICOT – John E. Slwula of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. On Dec. 13, police responded to a call to assist the Fluvanna Fire Department with a male that appeared to be passed out on the side of Moon Road close to West Oak Hill Road. Upon arrival, police found the man sitting and being treated by EMS personnel. The man-Slwula-allegedly became disorderly and started to yell obscenities at police and emergency personnel, police said.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
NORTH HARMONY – On Thursday at 12:02 a.m., sheriff’s deputies checked a suspicious vehicle on Route 474 in the town of North Harmony. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Nolan K. James and investigation found him to be intoxicated. James, 22, of Ashville, was taken into custody and after processing was released with traffic tickets for driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and unauthorized lights. James will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date to answer charges.
SHERMAN – The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team investigated a fire at the Troyer Incorporated pallet shop located at 2010 Clymer Hill Road in the town of Sherman. On Wednesday, the fire was found have originated in a utility wash room where a freezer was plugged in. The fire was traced back to the rear of this freezer where it appears the pump switch broke down and a fire occurred. Sherman, Clymer, Findley Lake, Panama and Ashville fire departments made a great stop to the fire and the building was saved and suffered fire damage to a confined area considering the size of the building, according to a news release from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

FORESTVILLE – Dale Dillenburg, 63, of Forestville, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and second-degree criminal contempt on Dec. 4. The charges stemmed from a complaint received Nov. 17, that Dillenburg was sending text messages to the complainant in violation of a court order of protection. Dillenburg was processed at the State Police at Fredonia station and issued appearance tickets on the above charges, both misdemeanors.
POMFRET – Ketty Maysonet, 47, of Rochester was charged with speeding and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after she was pulled over for speeding on Route 60. The State Police at Fredonia report Maysonet was driving 67 miles an hour in a 45 mile an hour zone. She was also allegedly found to have a suspended driver’s license for an insurance lapse. She was released to a family member and will be in court later.
BROCTON – Ryan Wakeley, 27, of Brocton was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Dec. 7 after troopers from the State Police at Fredonia responded to Pullman Street in Brocton for a complaint of criminal mischief and trespassing. Wakeley allegedly pushed or kicked in the door at the residence, breaking the chain lock and window grid. He then entered the residence without permission. He will be in Brocton Village Court later.
Ryan Miller, 35, of Portland was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, moving form lane unsafely and an equipment violation for no or inadequate plate lamp on Dec. 5. Troopers from the State Police at Fredonia pulled Miller’s vehicle over for allegedly moving from the lane unsafely on state Route 20 and for not having lit plate lamps. Miller was processed at the State Police at Fredonia barracks, where he allegedly was found to have a .18 percent blood-alcohol content. He will be in Portland Town Court later.
An 18-year-old was charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a cellphone and unlawful possession of marijuana after his vehicle was pulled over Dec. 4 by state troopers on Route 60 in Pomfret. Troopers reported seeing the driver on a cellphone and, while interviewing the teen, allegedly smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The youth will be in Pomfret Town Court later.

STATE POLICE
NAPOLI – On Sunday, New York State Police charged Patricia M. Raynor, 29, of Jamestown, after an investigation that began in August into a report of a stolen credit card from a victim in the town of Napoli in Cattaraugus County. The credit card was used at various area locations and security footage provided a positive identification of Raynor, police said. She was charged with felony fourth-degree grand larceny and unlawful possession of personal ID for commission of a crime. Raynor is to appear in Randolph Court at a later date.
PANAMA – On Tuesday, New York State Police charged Raymond M. Bowen, 48, of Celoron, after they responded to a report of a personal injury accident on Route 474 in Panama. Police said Bowen lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole and a guide rail. According to police, Bowen was found to be intoxicated and was transported to WCA Hospital by ambulance where he was treated and released. LAKEWOOD – Harry J. Stauffer, 28, of Jamestown, has been charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. Police said Stauffer was located in Reeds Jewelers with stolen property. Upon further investigation, police said Stauffer pawned the stolen property to Reeds for cash. The stolen property was recovered, and Reeds was out the money for the property. Warrants were issued, and the suspect was located and charged Tuesday. Stauffer is being held in Chautauqua County Jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
BROCTON – On Monday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull a vehicle over on School Street in the village of Brocton for a vehicle and traffic violation. Before deputies could pull the vehicle over, a male operator of the vehicle fled the scene on foot and into a residential area. An area check was conducted by deputies and the subject was later located in an apartment building. The male operator was identified as Andrew M. Geary Jr. Geary, 18, of Route 20 in Portland, was taken into custody and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and numerous vehicle and traffic violations, police said. Geary was released with an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets, and will appear in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA – On Tuesday at 12:13 a.m., Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on East Chautauqua Street in the town of Chautauqua for a traffic violation. The operator was identified as Charles H. Baker Jr., and an investigation found him to be intoxicated, police said. A check of Baker’s driving history showed that his privilege to operate a motor vehicle in New York state had been revoked for a prior driving while intoxicated arrest. Baker, 62, of Mayville, was taken into custody and later arraigned in Sherman Court due to the town of Chautauqua judge being unavailable. Baker was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond. He is charged with DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right. He will appear in Chautauqua Court to answer the charges.

On Dec. 3, while conducting a commercial vehicle inspection at the Allegany rest area on Interstate 86, State Police at Olean troopers allegedly found the operator of a vehicle, Jordan W. Blevins, 31, of Seneca Falls, in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Blevins was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and issued an appearance ticket to be in Allegany Town Court.
Brian P. Raven, 57, of Sherman was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over around 8 p.m. Sunday on state Route 76 in Sherman. Troopers report smelling alcohol while interviewing Raven. After he was charged and taken to the State Police at Jamestown barracks, Raven allegedly was found to have a blood-alcohol content of .12 percent. Raven was released to a third party and will be in Sherman Town Court later.

Kurt D. Crytzer, 23, of Meadville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, failure to maintain lane and unsafe turn after a car accident at 9:50 p.m. Dec. 3. According to a police report, Lakewood-Busti police responded to a reported vehicle rollover on Gleason Road and found Crytzer at the scene. He was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He will be in Busti Town Court later.
Thomas R. Nicholas, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny at 5:45 p.m. Monday at the Lakewood Wal-Mart after allegedly stealing $52.03 worth of merchandise. He will be in Busti Town Court later.
Brenda K. Emory, 59, of Lakewood was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree menacing after a walk-in complaint at the Lakewood-Busti Police Department at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. A man reported he got into an argument with Emory during which she allegedly punched him in the face, threw hot water on him and made verbal threats to kill him while she was holding a knife. She was charged, processed at the Lakewood-Busti Police Department and will be in Busti Town Court later.

Kelly A. Lundberg, 36, of Jamestown was charged with no/inadequate lights, expired registration, refusal or roadside alert test, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. On Thursday, at 12:22 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was reportedly traveling without its headlights. It is alleged that the driver – Lundberg – was intoxicated and had a suspended license. She also had a bench warrant for unpaid parking tickets, and her vehicle had an expired registration. She was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.
Peter C. Wallace, 31, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Saturday, at 11:30 p.m., police responded to 10 Eagle St. for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police learned that Wallace had been in an argument with his girlfriend, in which he allegedly grabbed a remote control from her and threw it against the floor, causing it to break. Wallace was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.
Brian T. Jones, 31, of Frewsburg was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. On Thursday, at 3:34 a.m., police responded to 69 Hedges Ave. for a reported domestic dispute. While en route, officers learned that the two parties involved had a minor physical altercation involving pepper spray. Upon arrival, police learned that Jones had gotten into an argument with a victim. At one point, pepper spray was used in order to keep Jones away. Further investigation revealed that there was an order of protection to keep Jones away from the victim. Jones was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.
Walter A. Wanamaker of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal contempt. On Thursday, at 12:05 p.m., police responded to a possible domestic incident at 107 McKinley Ave. Upon arrival, police spoke with a female victim who stated that Wanamaker entered her home without permission and left before police arrived. Police found Wanamaker in the upper apartment and determined that he had a valid order of protection to stay away from the victim. He was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.
Everett Ecker Jr., 49, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree burglary, criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, two counts of criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. On Nov. 18, at 3:45 p.m., police responded to a fight in progress inside a Hedges Avenue residence. Upon arrival, police determined that Ecker fled from the scene. A victim alleged that Ecker entered the home, choked her and restrained her ability to leave. As she attempted to call 911, Ecker allegedly broke a cellphone. Ecker was later apprehended and taken to the city jail. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Malcolm B. Bull, 24, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. On Nov. 20, at 4:17 a.m., police responded to a Hedges Avenue address for a reported domestic dispute involving a two-month-old child. It is alleged that Bull slapped his child multiple times on the chest, causing redness. Bull was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.
Lawrence D. McCoy-Boyd, 26, was charged with aggravated family offense, third-degree criminal mischief and unnecessary noise. On Nov. 21, police responded to the northside of the city for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival, police found a man in the roadway yelling. It is alleged that he became more irate when police told him to calm down. Investigation revealed that the man – McCoy-Boyd – allegedly threw a female victim’s cellphone out of a second-story window, causing damage to the phone. He was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

Todd M. Schnars, 40, of Lakewood received multiple charges Friday. At 11:12 p.m., a patrol officer on Big Tree Road in Lakewood observed a vehicle failing to keep right and stopped the vehicle. Upon further investigation, the vehicle was found to be operated by Schnars, who was allegedly intoxicated. A 14-year-old passenger was also found inside the vehicle. Schnars was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle under Leandra’s Law, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to keep right and endangering the welfare of a child. Schnars will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.
