JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Depree S. Gamble, 24, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. On Saturday, at 3:10 p.m., police responded to Sampson Street to check the well-being of two children. The grandmother of the children told police that their father – Gamble – left the children unattended for a period of 15 hours without adult supervision. Gamble was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

Eric M. Zwieg, 55, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, unsafe lane change and improper or unsafe turn/no signal. On Sunday, at 11:46 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle at the 400 block of Lafayette Street after the driver allegedly made an unsafe turn. The driver – Zwieg – was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Amanda F. Smith, 33, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Oct. 22, at 2:40 p.m., Smith was charged after allegedly stealing $41.19 worth of merchandise, including baby clothes and jewelry, from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Lana K. Winters, 37, of Lakewood was charged with petit larceny. On Saturday, at 6:45 p.m., Winters was charged after allegedly stealing $47.20 worth of health and beauty care items from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Lyndsi S. Larson, 30, of Celoron was charged with petit larceny. On Saturday, at 2:22 p.m., Larson was charged after allegedly stealing $84.42 worth of clothing. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brian D. Knapp, 39, of Falconer was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Friday, it is alleged that Knapp damaged a door to a residence during a domestic dispute. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

Leslie L. Burke, 39, of Bloomington, Indiana, was charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Oct. 20, at 1 p.m., police responded to a reported fight on Metcalf Avenue. It is alleged that Burke broke a window at the residence and struck a victim several times in the face. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NORTH HARMONY-Tyler J. Steppe, 29, and Heather L. Loveless, 34, both of Jamestown, were charged with trespass. On Friday, at 2:37 a.m., deputies observed a suspicious vehicle entering a private driveway in North Harmony. Deputies made contact with the occupants-Steppe and Loveless-and determined that neither had permission to be on the property. They were given appearance tickets for North Harmony Court.

MAYVILLE-Douglas E. Fischer, 48, was charged with second-degree harassment, obstruction of government administration, resisting arrest and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Saturday, deputies were called to investigate a disturbance at 34 S. Erie St. in Mayville. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Fischer who was reportedly acting disorderly. It is alleged that Fischer intentionally grabbed a deputy by the tie, ripped the tie off and damaged the deputy’s shirt. Fischer was placed into custody after a brief struggle. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

FORESTVILLE-Steven A. Accardo, 31, was charged with trespass. On Saturday, deputies responded to a reported trespass at 14 Main St. in Forestville. It is alleged that Accardo was inside a business at the address even though he was previously informed not to enter the building. He was issued an appearance ticket for Hanover Court.

MAYVILLE-Joseph A. Blachowski, 56, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment. On Oct. 15, at 3 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in Chautauqua for a reported harassment complaint. It is alleged that Blachowski harassed a female victim verbally, chased her with a glass mug and threw it at her. No injuries were reported. Blachowski was issued an appearance ticket for Chautauqua Court.

POMFRET-Dawn M. Hoth, 46, of Silver Creek was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, speed in zone and refusal to take breath test. On Oct. 22, at 7:22 p.m., deputies pulled over Hoth on Route 20 in Silver Creek for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. During an arraignment at Pomfret Court, Hoth’s driving privileges were suspended for refusing to submit to a chemical test. She was scheduled to reappear in Pomfret Court.

MAYVILLE-Katherine J. Wolcott, 36, of Mayville was charged with Leandra’s Law -felony DWI, DWI, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings and failure to use designated lane. On Oct. 22, at 8:21 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly making several lane violations in Mayville. The driver – Wolcott – was allegedly intoxicated while several children under the age of 16 were inside her vehicle. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RANDOLPH-Bethanie T. Clark, 34, of Randolph was charged with petit larceny. On Sunday, Clark was charged after allegedly placing items in her purse from the Dollar General Store on Main Street in Randolph. She was given an appearance ticket for Randolph Court.

GERRY-Charles A. Shelton, 31, of Gerry was charged with felony second-degree assault and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. On Friday, Troopers responded to a reported domestic dispute on Route 60 in Gerry. It is alleged that Shelton intervened in an argument between two other residents at the address and struck a 62-year-old man in the face with a metal baseball bat, causing injury. The victim was transported to WCA Hospital by the Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Squad. Shelton was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. He was scheduled to appear in Gerry Court.

ELLERY-Joseph P. Pratt, 27, of Jamestown was charged with fugitive from justice. On Oct. 20, U.S. Marshals apprehended Pratt at a residence in Ellery. Pratt has numerous warrants from other agencies including felony larceny warrants from Watkins Glen Police Department and the Hermitage, Pennsylvania Police Department. Pratt was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Austin L. Cochran, 45, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, obstruction of breathing/blood circulation, aggravated family offense and first-degree criminal contempt. On Tuesday, at 12 a.m., police responded to 19 W. Seventh St. for a domestic incident. It is alleged that Cochran became disorderly toward a victim, and when the victim attempted to call 911, Cochran grabbed the phone and threw it against the wall. It was further alleged that Cochran threw the victim onto the floor and applied pressure to their throat. Police determined that there was a valid order of protection for Cochran to stay away from the victim. Cochran was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sean D. Barrett, 24, and Katelyn M. Cassidy, both of Stockton, were charged with criminal possession of stolen property. On Oct. 15, at 8:30 p.m., police located Barrett and Cassidy walking east on Fairmount Avenue near the Fairmount plaza. Both matched the description of shoplifters from a Lakewood store. They were given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ashley D. Karash, 29, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m., Karash was charged after allegedly stealing an adapter worth $34.94 and having a small quantity of marijuana in her purse. She will appear in Busti Court on Oct. 29.

Angela S. Fuller, 36, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Oct. 21, at 4:03 p.m., Fuller was charged after allegedly stealing $70.70 in merchandise from the Lakewood Walmart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Stephanie A. Appling, 25, of Warren, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more and failure to keep right. On Thursday, at 2:45 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 62 in Ellington for an alleged traffic infraction. The driver – Appling – was allegedly intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Ellington Court at a later date.

IRVING-Ernest L. Nierra, 54, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. On Sunday, Nierras was charged after an incident at Lakeshore Hospital on Oct. 12. It is alleged that he had damaged hospital property and scratched a hospital employee. He was committed to the county jail and scheduled to appear in Hanover Court.

SHERMAN-Matthew G. Buckley, 24, of North East, Pennsylvania, was charged with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more and speed in zone. On Sunday, at 1:27 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Franklin Street in Sherman. It is alleged that the driver – Buckley – was intoxicated. He was given an appearance ticket for Sherman Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

William E. Jackson Jr., 28, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a parole warrant. On Friday, at 6:23 p.m., police attempted to pull over a driver for allegedly having a suspended driver’s license and a parole warrant. As police conducted the traffic stop, the driver – Jackson – jumped out of the car and began to flee. Jackson allegedly jumped into the Chadakoin River to evade police. He was apprehended a short distance later and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Valerie Y. Camacho, 21, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. On Wednesday, at 8:14 a.m., police responded to the area of Falconer and Stowe streets for an unsupervised child. A passing motoring reportedly found a 3-year-old male child, who was not appropriately dressed for the weather, playing the street. Police located the child’s mother – Camacho – in her apartment. She was taken to the city jail without incident.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kirk P. Krofka, 39, of Carroll was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminally possession a hypodermic needle, obstruction governmental administration and resisting arrest. On Oct. 13, at 7:40 p.m., police responded to Alfies Restaurant for a disorderly person. They located Krofka in the parking lot of 976 Fairmount Ave., yelling and using obscenities while multiple patrons were nearby. While officers attempted to take Krofka into custody, he allegedly fought back and head butted them. He also allegedly caused damage to a patrol vehicle. He was given an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court.

China M. Kinney, 32, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. On Friday, police responded to Home Depot on Fairmount Avenue to investigate a possible theft from the store by an employee. It is alleged that Kinney took money from the store for merchandise from late September to early October. It is also reported that she sold merchandise with an approximate value of $1,600. She was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sean D. Barrett, 24, and Katelyn M. Cassidy, 19, both of Sinclairville, were charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Thursday, at 8:41 p.m., both were charged after allegedly stealing $147.14 worth of clothing from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is alleged that they damaged some of the items. Police found them at a 679 Fairmount Ave. address. They were given appearance tickets to Busti Court.

Kimberly L. Ferguson, 30, of Celoron was charged with petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance outside original container. On Friday, at 9 p.m., Ferguson was stopped by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention for allegedly stealing $37.80 worth of merchandise. It is alleged that she also had a small amount of a controlled substance. She was given an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

Jacob Michael Aversa was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. On Friday, at 10:43 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle for allegedly speeding, following too close, failure to keep right and failing to stop at a stop sign. It is alleged that the driver – Aversa – was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and impaired by drugs. He was given an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT

PITTSFIELD, Pa. – Two Jamestown men, ages 40 and 44, were charged following an incident in the town of Pittsfield on Saturday. The incident occurred as the two men, referred to as “actors,” became involved in a verbal dispute inside their vehicle while sitting stationary on Old Pittsfield Road near the Pittsfield Kwik Fill. During the course of the altercation, a Youngsville man approached the vehicle to see what the altercation was about. After words were exchanged by the two parties, the driver of the vehicle shifted into reverse and accelerated at a high rate of speed in an attempt to hit the Youngsville man. The man was able to jump out of the path of the vehicle, which went into a ditch and hit a tree. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot, but was tracked and subsequently located by the police department’s K-9 unit. Through further investigation, it was learned that the driver was highly intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for aggravated assault and driving under the influence. The charges are pending.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Julio A. Rivera, 68, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Friday, at 11:20 p.m., police responded to 19 S. Main St. for a shoplifting complaint at CVS. It is alleged that Rivera stole several items from the store. He was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

Maurice C. Hough, 33, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation. On Thursday, at 8:50 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle in front of 143 Falconer St. It is alleged that the front seat passenger – Hough – gave police a false name several times because he had a confirmed New York state parole warrant. He was taken to the city jail and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

Jastic M. Anzalone, 18, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, felony DWI per se (Leandra’a Law), operating without a license, passing a red light and no headlights. On Saturday, at 2 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle for allegedly having no headlights and driving through a red light on Hallock Street and Fairmount Avenue. It is alleged that the driver – Anzalone – was intoxicated with a 14-year-old passenger. Anzalone was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NORTH HARMONY-Barbra A. Thumm, 61, of Salamanca was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, moving from lane unsafely, uninspected motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Sunday, at 11:27 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Interstate 86 for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Thumm – was driving the vehicle while impaired by drugs. It is further alleged that she had a small quantity of marijuana. She was given an appearance ticket for North Harmony Court.

SHERMAN-Makayla R. Pecora, 19, of Sherman was charged with DWI, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and possession of alcohol by person under 21 years of age. On Saturday, at 2:47 a.m., deputies checked a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Rails to Trails, located on Titus Road in Sherman. It is alleged that the driver – Pecora – was intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket for Sherman Court.

SILVER CREEK-Kristina M. Gilbert, 30, of Hamburg was charged with DWI, DWI per se with BAC of .08 percent or higher, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession or consumption of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, speed in zone and inadequate tail lamps. On Friday, at 11:55 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Central Avenue in Silver Creek. It is alleged that the driver – Gilbert – was intoxicated and in possession of narcotic pills without a prescription. She was given an appearance ticket for Silver Creek Court.

MAYVILLE-Jennifer M. DeGolier, 41, of Dunkirk was charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. On Thursday, at 1:15 p.m., investigators served appearance tickets to DeGolier for felonies relating to welfare fraud. It is alleged that DeGolier obtained SNAP/food benefits on behalf of her boyfriend without disclosing his income. As a result, she received $1,444 in unentitled food stamp benefits. She was given an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.

MAYVILLE-Keilly R. Rose, 43, or Fredonia was charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. On Friday, at 8:35 a.m., investigators served Rose appearance tickets for felonies relating to welfare fraud. It is alleged that Rose received food stamps while not properly reporting her income to social services. It is also alleged that Rose filed an application with social services that contained false information. As a result, Rose allegedly received $1,842 in unentitled food stamp benefits. She was given an appearance ticket to Jamestown City Court.

DUNKIRK-Cassie A. Stercula, 27, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny. On Thursday, at 3:20 p.m., deputies responded to a business on Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk for a reported larceny. It is alleged that Stercula took items from a business without paying. She was given an appearance ticket for Dunkirk Court.

CHAUTAUQUA-James L. Fewell, 54, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was charged with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or higher and moving from lane unsafely. On Oct. 4, at 1:42 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 430 in Chautauqua for an alleged traffic violation. The driver – Fewell – was allegedly intoxicated. He was given an appearance ticket for Chautauqua Court.

HANOVER-Cynthia L. Hahn, 45, of Forestville was charged with failure to keep right, DWI, DWI per se and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. On Sept. 30, at 8:45 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Route 39 in Hanover. It is alleged that the driver – Hahn – was intoxicated and had revoked driving privileges because of a previous alcohol-related offense. Hahn was remanded to the county jail in lieu of jail.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

POMFRET-Carl Liuzzo, 26, of Jamestown was charged with speed in zone, inadequate plate lamp, unregistered motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Thursday, State Troopers pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for allegedly speeding, having an inadequate plate lamp and being unregistered. It is alleged that the driver – Luizzo – was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Pomfret Court on Oct. 20.

STOCKTON-Tristin Pearson, 19, of Jamestown was charged with speeding and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Oct. 3, State Troopers pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Route 60 in Stockton. It is alleged that the driver – Pearson – was in possession of hashish. He was given an appearance ticket for Stockton Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Devin S. Fuller, 19, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Thursday, at 1 a.m., police responded to 110 Church St. for a report of a disorderly intoxicated male. It is alleged that Fuller struck and held a victim against their will, while preventing the victim from calling 911. Fuller was taken to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Jason T. Vaccaro, 29, of Jamestown was charged with inadequate/no headlamps, driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or above. On Thursday, at 2:08 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was traveling south on Washington Street from West Fourth Street that allegedly had no headlights. The driver – Vaccaro – was allegedly intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in city court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-David P. Topliffe, 34, of Brocton was charged with felony criminal possession of methamphetamine precursors, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to signal turn. On Sunday, at 3:44 a.m., deputies pulled over a driver that allegedly committed a traffic infraction on Adams Street in Silver Creek. The driver-Topliffe-allegedly had suspended driving privileges and was in possession of powdered methamphetamine, methamphetamine processing materials, scales, prescription narcotic pills and a quantity of marihuana. He was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and remanded to the county jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Corey P. Reichardt, 23, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment. On Wednesday, at 2:10 p.m., police responded to the area of 359 Fairmount Ave. for a reported vehicle accident. It is alleged that the driver – Reichardt – fled the scene of the accident in his vehicle prior to police arrival. It is further alleged that Reichardt drove over the foot and lower leg of the victim while fleeing. Reichardt was located nearby and taken to the city jail. He will appear in city court at a later date.

Joel C. Williams II, 33, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. On Sept. 29, at 11:59 p.m., police responded to the area of West Third Street and Lakin Avenue for a vehicle accident. It is alleged that Williams – a passenger in the vehicle – grabbed and abruptly turned the steering wheel of the moving vehicle and caused it to crash into a tree. Williams and the victim were transported to WCA Hospital for injuries. Williams was taken to the city jail and scheduled to appear in city court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Stephen J. Graham, 38, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Friday, at 3 p.m., Graham was charged after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-mart. He was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Casey J. Barton, 32, of Warren, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while intoxicated, speed in zone, failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings. On Saturday, at 2:37 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding and driving across hazard markings on Southwestern Drive in Busti. The driver – Barton – was allegedly intoxicated. He was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Elizabeth R. Schultz, 27, was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, at 4:32 p.m., Barton was charged after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-mart. She was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Tara L. Schulz, 28, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. On Sept. 29, at 4:16 p.m., Schultz was charged after allegedly stealing $28.11 worth of clothing and office supply items from the Lakewood Wal-mart. Schultz was allegedly with her 9-year-old child during the larceny. Schultz was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tristin E. Pearson, 19, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and speeding. On Saturday, at 11:33 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle for allegedly speeding on Route 60. It is alleged that the driver – Pearson – was in possession of marijuana. He was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FREDONIA-Laurin M. Privateer of Fredonia was charged with crossing hazard markings, DWI and aggravated DWI per se. On Sunday, at 2:19 a.m., deputies pulled over her vehicle on East Main Street in Fredonia for allegedly crossing the white fog line multiple times. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket for Fredonia Court.

SINCLAIRVILLE-Harrison F. Martinez, 22, of Fredonia was charged with speed in zone, DWI and DWI per se. On Saturday, at 3:39 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Reed Street in Sinclairville for allegedly speeding. The driver – Martinez – was allegedly intoxicated. He was given an appearance ticket for Charlotte Court.

SILVER CREEK-Jack E. Warrior Jr., 33, of Lawtons was charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal tampering. On Monday, at 6:30 p.m., deputies were called to a Burgess Street address for a disorderly subject who reportedly entered a residence without permission. It is alleged that Warrior entered the residence of another individual without permission and committed the crime of criminal tampering. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail and scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Court.

HANOVER-Jesse J. Borrello, 19, of Forestville was charged with third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Saturday, Borrello was arraigned for the charges in Hanover Court. The charges stem from an incident in July 2015, in which he allegedly broke into a safe and stole money and jewelry from another Forestville resident. The value of the stolen property was approximately $11,000. Borrello was located in Jamestown and committed to the county jail in lieu of bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

James D. Allison III, 30, of Jamestown was charged Friday with first-degree felony reckless endangerment and second-degree felony criminal mischief. At approximately 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of South Avenue and Forest Avenue for a road-rage incident. Officers were advised that a blue SUV was ramming another vehicle and pushing the vehicle into oncoming traffic. Several witnesses told the officers that the blue SUV had fled the area at a high rate of speed traveling down Forest Avenue toward the downtown Jamestown area. The vehicle description information was broadcast to police patrol units. The vehicle was located a short time later abandoned and unoccupied. During the investigation it was determined that Allison was the operator of the vehicle. He was located a short distance from where the incident occurred. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Laurence E. Leidecker, 63, of Youngsville, Pennsylvania, was charged Sunday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 1:01 a.m., an officer on patrol on West Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and stopped the vehicle. The operator was identified as Leidecker, who was taken into custody and charged. Leidecker will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
