LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Courtney R. Dawson, 34, of Lakewood was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, refusal of a breath screen test and driving across hazard markings. At 10:12 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of West Fairmount Avenue for a vehicle traveling down Route 394 from Ashville allegedly all over the roadway. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle driving down the shoulder of the roadway over the white hazard markings. The vehicle was found to be operated by Dawson, who was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken into custody and issued citations, and will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

Patricia A. Bloomgren, 50, of Falconer was charged Monday with petit larceny after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Lakewood business. She was allegedly found to have a warrant from the Lakewood-Busti Police Department. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ARKWRIGHT-James R. Bielat Sr., 62, of Fredonia was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 3:43 p.m., deputies responded to Straight Road in Arkwright for a reported fight. It is alleged that Bielat pushed another person for no apparent reason. He also allegedly had a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Arkwright Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD-Jeffrey C. Kimbel, 49, of Ripley was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. At 5:25 p.m., deputies responded to a Parker Road residence in Westfield for a reported physical altercation. It is alleged that Kimbel pushed and threw a person at the residence. He will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-James J. Nedwick, 55, of Stockton was charged Friday with felony DWI, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, parking on pavement and failure to comply. At 12:33 a.m., deputies located an eastbound vehicle parked in the westbound lane of traffic on Dean Road in Chautauqua. The vehicle allegedly fled as police tried to initiate a traffic stop. A short pursuit occurred in which the vehicle reportedly committed multiple traffic offenses. The driver-Nedwick-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Clayton A. Manwaring, 18, of Panama was charged Saturday with two counts of speeding, failure to comply with lawful order and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. At 12:47 a.m., deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the vehicle failed to comply and began to accelerate to evade police. The vehicle was reportedly traveling in excess of 100 mph. The driver-Manwaring-was later apprehended and charged. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

RIPLEY-Jaelyn R. Kuczynski, 25, of North East, Pennsylvania, was charged Saturday with third-degree assault after she allegedly struck and injured a female victim at 10769 W. Main St. in Ripley. She will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Bradley J. Kibler, 31, of Westfield was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI per se, unregistered motor vehicle and crossing hazard markings. At 12:04 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly crossing over the white fog line on Route 430 in Chautauqua. The driver-Kibler-was allegedly intoxicated and had an expired vehicle registration. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Corey J. Winas, 26, of Dewittville was charged Saturday with speed in zone, DWI and aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. At 2:11 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly speeding on East Chautauqua Street in Mayville. It is alleged that the driver-Winas-was intoxicated. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CHARLOTTE-Chris Christodoulou, 53, of Jamestown was charged Friday with third-degree assault after allegedly punching and injuring a female victim on Barnum Road in Charlotte. Christodoulou will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

FORESTVILLE-Terezo Paz-Hernandez, 33, of Forestville was charged Sunday with third-degree grand larceny. On July 24, deputies responded to a residence on Main Street in Forestville for a reported stolen vehicle. Investigation determined that Hernandez allegedly stole a vehicle from a residence in Forestville. Deputies made contact with Hernandez who claimed to be in Tennessee with the vehicle. An arrest warrant was issued and deputies located Hernandez and the vehicle in Forestville on Sunday. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 property bond. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD-John K. Spinuzza, 56, of Westfield was charged Tuesday with DWI-drugs and two counts of failing to keep right. At 3:15 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle allegedly commit a vehicle and traffic violation on Webster Road in Portland. Deputies pulled the vehicle over on Route 20 in Westfield after another alleged vehicle and traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver-Spinuzza-was impaired by drugs. He will appear in Portland and Westfield courts at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Thomas R. Cole, 54, of Dewittville was charged on July 22 with unlawful possession of marijuana, growing cannibis and criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 6:50 p.m., deputies responded to 6353 Centralia Hartfield Road for a reported neighbor dispute. Deputies allegedly found eight marijuana plants growing on the property, which belonged to Cole. After a search of the residence, deputies also found a small bag of Marinol pills and several marijuana cigarettes. Cole will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

Area Police Reports

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Justin L. Mitchell, 25, and Entierron L. Mitchell-Foster, 24, both of Jamestown, were charged Saturday following a traffic stop at Rite Aid, 811 N. Main St., for no headlight. The passenger of the vehicle, later identified as Mitchell, exited the vehicle with an open container of alcohol and refused to obey officers’ commands during the investigation. Mitchell was taken into custody and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, littering and public consumption of alcohol. The operator of the vehicle, Mitchell-Foster, refused to give his name or identification cards. He was told to exit the vehicle and refused, causing officers to physically remove him. Mitchell-Foster then resisted while officers were attempting to place him into custody. Further investigation uncovered two marijuana roaches in the vehicle. Mitchell-Foster was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of marijuana and no headlight. Both parties were transported to Jamestown City Jail in lieu of bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Zachary A. Graves, 19, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree grand larceny. Paul A. Russo, 40, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and three counts of petit larceny. At 11:30 p.m., police located Graves and Russo at a 512 Newland St. residence. Both allegedly had active felony warrants for grand larceny and Russo had active warrants for three separate petit larcenies from Lakewood businesses. Both were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Jessica R. Lamper, 29, of Salamanca was charged Wednesday with petit larceny after she allegedly stole $105.30 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Walmart. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ELLINGTON-Thom K. Griehm of Jamestown was charged Monday with trespass. At 6:30 p.m., deputies received the report of a trespass that had occurred on Waterman Road in Ellington. It is alleged that Griehm trespassed on posted property after being advised not to by the property owner. He will appear in Ellington Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD-Clifford S. Dowdy, 37, of North East, Pennsylvania, was charged Wednesday with two counts of felony driving while intoxicated and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 4:54 p.m., deputies and Westfield Police pulled over a vehicle on West Main Street in Westfield for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Dowdy had warrants for DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation out of the county court. He also had other outstanding warrants from other police agencies. He was committed to the county jail and will appear in county court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Nathan L. Kelwaski, 22, of Ashville was charged Wednesday with unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment. At 5 a.m., it is alleged that Kelwaski struck another individual and held that person in his residence against their will. He was taken into custody without incident and will appear in the county jail at a later date. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT-Aaron M. Moore, 26, of Lockport was charged on July 16 with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. At 11 p.m., it was reported to the Sheriff’s Office that a Bemus Point business was burglarized. It is alleged that Moore entered the business and removed property without the permission of the owner. He was committed to the county jail in lieu of bail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ASHFORD-Awais K. Darrani, 33, of Odenton, Maryland, was charged on July 16 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed in zone and driver’s view obstructed. At 3 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Route 219 in Ashford for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that Darrani’s driving privileges were previously suspended for failure to answer summons. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $700 bail. He will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.

OLEAN-Peter J. Kettler, 37, of Olean was charged on July 16 with violation of probation. It is alleged that Kettler failed to obey the terms of his probation, which derived from a DWI charge.

Area Police Reports

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Robert B. Breth, 51, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and aggravated Family Offense. At 6:20 p.m., police responded to 358 E. Fourth St. for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police made a forced entry and found Breth allegedly fighting with a female inside of the residence. It is also alleged that Breth was in possession of two credit cards that belonged to the victim. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Reinaldo Crespo, 31, of Jamestown was charged Monday with false impersonation and a New York State Division of Parole warrant. At 11:50 a.m., police responded to a reported domestic incident at 921 E. Second St. Upon arrival, police reportedly located a man and a woman arguing in front of the home. It is alleged that the man-Crespo-gave police two different names in an attempt to hide his identity. Further investigation indicated that Crespo had a valid parole warrant out of New York State Division of Parole. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sherry L. Gulczynski, 57, of Busti was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment. At 12:30 a.m., police responded to a reported disorderly person at 1567 Wellman Road. It is alleged that Gulczynski was intoxicated and disorderly toward other members of the home. It is also alleged that she struck an elderly woman that lives at the home. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sean P. Canfield, 35, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was charged on July 2 with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief. It is alleged that Canfield burglarized a West Ellicott home on May 28 and damaged property inside. He was taken into custody in Erie, Pennsylvania and later extradited to Chautauqua County on July 2. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Andrea N. Cusimano, 36, and Amanda F. Smith, 33, both of Jamestown, were charged on July 12 with petit larceny after allegedly shoplifting from Wegmans, located at 945 Fairmount Ave. They will appear in Ellicott Court on July 28.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CARROLL-Kyle A. Green, 22, of Jamestown was charged Friday with second-degree harassment. At 8:23 p.m., deputies responded to an incident on Frew Run Road in Carroll. It is alleged that Green punched another individual. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Nicholas C. Shields, 24, of Mayville was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment. At 3:54 p.m., deputies responded to a reported fight at a residence on Spruce Street in Chautauqua. It is alleged that Shields punched another individual several times. He reportedly fled the scene prior to police arrival, but was apprehended a short time later. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD-Matthew Thomas Cooper, 30, of Chipley, Florida, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 1:11 a.m., deputies and Westfield Police responded to a criminal mischief complaint at a location on Route 5 in Westfield. It is alleged that Cooper intentionally damaged a property when he spun his tires and caused ruts in the grass of the property. Police later pulled over Cooper’s vehicle and found that he was allegedly intoxicated. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail and will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Carri A. Cavalier, 43, of Bemus Point was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. At 12:45 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly speeding in Ellery. The driver-Cavalier-was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Jonathan T. Melquist, 30, of Lakewood was charged Sunday with DWI, DWI per se and moving from lane unsafely. At 2:41 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly moving from its lane unsafely. It is alleged that the driver-Melquist-was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Anthony J. Querrieo Sr., 29, of Jamestown was charged Friday with DWI, DWI per se and driving with an open container of alcohol. At 11:56 p.m., deputies stopped to check on a vehicle on the side of the road. It is alleged that the driver-Querrieo-was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

PERSIA-Nichole L. Merecki, 29, of Dunkirk was apprehended Saturday on a bench warrant issued out of Persia Court. Dunkirk Police handed her over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. She was released after paying a fine at Persia Court.

SALAMANCA-Darrell J. Lichy, 28, of Salamanca was apprehended Thursday on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. He was taken to the county jail with no bail. He will appear in Cattaraugus County Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

CHARLOTTE-Brian M. Tarbell, 41, of Sinclairville was charged Sunday with second-degree criminal contempt after he allegedly violated an order of protection. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joseph F. Trusso, 25, of Falconer was charged Friday with third-degree assault. At 12:35 a.m., police responded to the lower half of the Second Street parking ramp for an in-progress assault. It is alleged that Trusso was repeatedly punching a female victim during an argument, police said. The victim reportedly suffered a fractured bone in her right hand, according to a news release. Trusso was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Aaron D. Kibbe, 27, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with no/inadequate brake lights, failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 12:11 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle that allegedly had a broken rear brake light, according to a news release. It is alleged that the driver-Kibbe-was intoxicated, police said. He was taken to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Zenia Y. Morales of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. At 10:51 p.m., police responded to 1140 N. Main St. for a reported domestic dispute. It is alleged that Morales stabbed her boyfriend in the hand during an argument, according to police. The incident allegedly took place in front of her 13-year-old child, police said. She was taken to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Robert B. Breth, 51, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 5:28 p.m., police responded to a reported physical domestic incident complaint at an East Fourth Street address in which a neighbor could allegedly hear a woman calling for help. It is alleged that Breth slapped, kicked and punched a female victim during an argument, according to a news release. It is also alleged that Breth took the victim down to the ground and began to choke her to the point of her nearly losing consciousness, police said. When the victim tried to call 911, Breth allegedly pulled the phone jack from the wall, according to police. Breth will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Norman J. Lindell, 42, of Lakewood was charged Thursday with trespassing and petit larceny. It is alleged that Lindell entered the garage of a residence on Hunt Road in Lakewood, where he took a gas jug and a small amount of gas, police said. Lindell allegedly poured the gas into his vehicle and left the scene after placing $6 on the spot where the gas was located, according to a news release. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Bleys L. Potrzebowski, 18, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. It is alleged that Potrzebowski stole $32.12 in merchandise from the Lakewood Walmart, police said. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Tammi M. Gould, 31, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. It is alleged that Gould stole $79.67 in merchandise from the Lakewood Walmart, police said. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Dale R. Tremblay Jr., 27, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with petit larceny after allegedly concealing and passing the last point of sale with $43.81 worth of tools and light bulbs, police said. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Makayla Rose Pecora, 19, and Kristie Lynn Dragar, 22, both of Northeast, Pennsylvania, were charged Monday with petit larceny after allegedly concealing $48.02 in merchandise in a purse from the Lakewood Walmart, police said. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE-Judd K. Sturdevant, 27, of Cassadaga was charged Friday with speeding, failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 3:39 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly speeding and failing to keep right on Lakeview Avenue in Mayville, police said. It is alleged that the driver-Sturdevant-was intoxicated and had suspended driving privileges in New York state, according to a news release. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Alexandria M. Earls, 22, of Mayville was charged Friday with disorderly conduct. At 2:16 a.m., deputies observed an alleged disturbance in front of 13 Water St. in Mayville, police said. Earls was charged and will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

VILLENOVA-Cory M. Keeler, 33, of Cherry Creek was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated. At 11:58 p.m., deputies responded to Route 83 in Villenova for a report of a suspicious male walking along the side of the road. It is alleged that the male -Keeler-was operating a motorcycle on Route 83 when he struck a deer and entered a ditch, police said. He sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. It is alleged that Keeler was intoxicated, according to a news release. He will appear in Villenova Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Kathy M. Restivo, 36, of Irving was charged Monday with second-degree criminal trespass. At 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a possible trespass at a Christy Road residence in Hanover. It is alleged that Restivo entered and remained unlawfully in the house of another. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Samantha Jackson of Forestville was charged Tuesday with moving from lane unsafely. At 6 p.m., deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 39 in Hanover. It is alleged that Jackson had crossed the center line of the road and entered the opposite lane of traffic. This reportedly led to a collison with a vehicle driven by Adam Reese of Perrysburg. Jackson was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for minor injuries by Forestville emergency crews. Reese was uninjured.

HANOVER – Jonathan R. White, 38, of Salamanca was charged Monday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 12:47 p.m., deputies pulled over White’s vehicle for allegedly speeding on Hanover Road in Hanover. It is alleged that White was intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Rachel A. Blanchard, 33, of Sherman was charged Monday with five counts of fourth-degree possession of stolen property. It is alleged that Blanchard committed several break-ins in Sherman and stole money, credit cards, jewelry and other miscellaneous items. It is also alleged that she used credit cards at a Kwik Fill in Pomfret and was found in possession of them in Ripley. She was committed to the county jail with no bail. The New York State Police is still investigating a number of other charges.

FRENCH CREEK-Joshua J. Russell, 29, of Findley Lake was charged Friday with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or higher and inadequate headlights. At 12:49 a.m., deputies pulled over Russell’s vehicle for an alleged traffic infraction on King Road in French Creek. It is alleged that Russell was intoxicated. He will appear in French Creek Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Sara A. Zent of Westfield was charged July 3 with DWI. At 11:07 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a disorderly subject on Old Bridge Road in North Harmony. It is alleged that Zent had driven a vehicle to the road while intoxicated. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

SHERMAN – Julius Y. Woma, 21, of Fredonia was charged July 3 with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 11:30 p.m., deputies responded to assist security guards at an event on Waits Corners Road in Sherman. It is alleged that Woma had a quantity of ecstacy and LSD. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $45,000 property bond. She will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

FREWSBURG-Michael J. Pace-Segura, 18, of Lakewood was charged Saturday with possession of alcohol under the age of 21, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. State Troopers pulled over a pickup truck carrying six individuals on Ivory Road in Frewsburg. Troopers allegedly observed a bottle of beer on the floor of the vehicle. All occupants under the age of 21 were charged with possession of alcohol under the age of 21. Pace-Segura will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT – Deborah J. Glover, 53, Olean was charged Sunday with DWI, refusal of breath test and no headlights. At 9 p.m., State Troopers pulled over Glover’s vehicle on Route 60 for allegedly having no headlight. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Area Police Reports

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Frederick W. McIntosh-Mosely, 23, of Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania, was charged Friday with stop/stand/park, failure to keep right, uninspected motor vehicle, open container, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated. At 1:29 a.m., police observed a vehicle that had allegedly stopped at a green light at the intersection of East Second Street and Winsor Street. Police reportedly attempted to alert the driver by sounding their horn. Police pulled over the vehicle after it started to move and allegedly failed to keep right. It is alleged that the driver – McIntosh-Mosely – was intoxicated and did not have a driver’s license. His driving privileges were also allegedly suspended. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Tina M. Reed, 38, and Anthony A. Beaty, 29, both of Jamestown, were charged Saturday following a domestic incident. Upon officers’ arrival to 516 E. Fifth St. at 10:45 a.m., officers spoke with Reed and Beaty. Investigation found that Beaty allegedly broke several items belonging to Reed, and Reed allegedly hit Beaty several times in the back with a plastic shovel. Both Beaty and Reed were taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without further incident. Beaty was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, and Reed was charged with third-degree assault.

Jesus Torres Jr., 28, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with first-degree felony criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. At 6:16 a.m., officers responded to 107 Barrett Ave. for a report of a violent domestic incident. Investigation found that there was a valid order of protection for the suspect to stay away from the victim. Investigation also found that Torres allegedly choked the victim, and didn’t allow her to leave the residence despite her repeated attempts to do so. Officers located Torres in a crawl space in the basement, and had a brief standoff with him. Shortly after, Torres surrendered to officers and was taken into custody without further incident. Torres was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where was to await arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Richard E. Graham, 49, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession. At 6:44 p.m., Graham was taken into custody for shoplifting from the Lakewood Walmart. He was charged and is due back in Busti Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Randall M. Abbey Jr., 35, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment. At 11:49 a.m., deputies responded to Angell Road in Hanover for a reported altercation. It is alleged that Abbey shoved and slapped another person during an argument. Abbey will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Carol J. Halstead, 55, of New York City was charged Monday with DWI, DWI per se and failure to stop at a stop sign. At 1:52 a.m., deputies pulled over Halstead’s vehicle after she allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign in Mayville. It is alleged that Halstead was intoxicated. She will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA -Jeffrey A. Curtiss, 62, of Sherman was charged Sunday with DWI-common law. At 6:12 p.m., deputies responded to a motorcycle accident on Water Street in Mayville. It is alleged that the driver-Curtiss-entered the roadway and failed to yield the right of way to an oncoming vehicle. He reportedly laid his motorcycle down and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Westfield Hospital. Curtiss was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

BROCTON- Clint C. Catchot, 21, of Brocton was charged Sunday with third-degree burglary. At 3:24 p.m., deputies served a warrant on Catchot at a residence on Sequoia Drive in Brocton. Catchot was reportedly taken into custody at the scene for an alleged violation of probation stemming from a burglary charge. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Court and will appear in Chautauqua County Court at a later date.

Juan Pacheco Jr., 33, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and refusal to take a pre-screen breath test. At 2:41 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on West Third Street in Jamestown for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Pacheco – was intoxicated. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Hannah E. Schuler, 25, of Lakewood was charged Friday with DWI, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more and driving on the wrong way down a one-way street. At 4:27 p.m., deputies pulled over Schuler’s vehicle on South Shore Drive in Hanover for an alleged traffic violation. Schuler was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

CARROLL – Jeremy T. Peterson, 21, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more, moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right and no/inadequate lights. At 2:31 a.m., deputies pulled over Peterson’s vehicle on Ivory Road in Carroll for multiple alleged traffic violations. It is alleged that Peterson was intoxicated. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Nichole M. Brown, 31, of Jamestown was charged Friday with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, misuse of food stamps over $1,000 and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that between Nov. 1, 2013 and Feb. 28, Brown failed to notify social services that her husband was employed and had income. It is alleged that Brown repeatedly concealed this information by filing false applications with the Department of Health and Human Services. She reportedly received $2,749 in unentitled food stamp benefits. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Sheri B. Doverspike, 44, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps over $1,000. It is alleged that between July 1, 2014, and Sept. 30, 2014, Doverspike failed to notify social services that she was employed and earning wages. She allegedly received $1,479 in unentitled food stamp benefits.

MAYVILLE – Carl L. Gage, 26, of Dunkirk was charged Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps over $1,000. It is alleged that between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28, Gage failed to notify social services that he was employed and earning wages. He allegedly received $1,022 in unentitled food stamp benefits.

MAYVILLE – Troy A. Walker, 28, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps over $1,000. It is alleged that between Oct. 1, 2014 and May 31, Walker failed to notify social services that he was working and receiving wages. Walker allegedly concealed this information by filing a false application with social services. Walker allegedly received $1,552 in unentitled food stamp benefits and $25 in unentitled HEAP benefits. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Jane A. Canada, 34, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps over $1,000. It is alleged that between Oct. 1, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2014, Canada failed to notify social services that her husband had gained employed and had income. Canada allegedly received $1,171 in unentitled food stamp benefits. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Nicole A. Lathan, 32, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps over $1,000. It is alleged that between Feb. 1, 2014 and July 31, 2014, Lathan was employed and failed to notify social services of her income. She allegedly received $1,050 in unentitled food stamp benefits. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ashley M. Johnson, 27, of Falconer was charged Wednesday with third-degree robbery and petit larceny. At 6 p.m., police responded to a reported robbery in progress complaint at the East Second Street plaza. It is alleged that Johnson had pushed a victim to the ground and stole her money. She was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is pending arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Julia A. Johnson, 38, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was charged Wednesday after allegedly shoplifting several clothing items from the Lakewood K-Mart on June 29. It is alleged that she fled from the store when confronted by store employees. An arrest warrant was issued out of Ellicott Court shortly after the shoplifting incident. On Wednesday, members of the Jamestown Police Department pulled over a vehicle in the city in which Johnson was a passenger. She was turned over to the Ellicott Police Department and remanded in the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Jason J. Elliott, 43, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal trespass. At 2:45 a.m., it is alleged that Elliott unlawfully entered the house of his ex-girlfriend and stayed there without her permission. Elliott reportedly left the scene before police arrived, but later turned himself into the Ellicott Police Department. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Christian E. McGowan, 36, of Lakewood was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, expired inspection and speed in zone. At 2:45 a.m., police pulled over McGowan’s vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that McGowan was intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA-Courtney L. Tayerle, 25, of Ravenna, Ohio, was charged Sunday with DWI and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. Kurt G. Talion, 36, of Hiram, Ohio, was charged with trespass. Wendy S. Osborn, 50, of Mantua, Ohio, was charged with trespass. At 12:38 a.m., deputies responded to a report of several unwanted individuals near Thumb Road in Chautauqua. Deputies made contact with the individuals while they were allegedly trying to flee the scene in a vehicle. The driver-Tayerle-was allegedly intoxicated. Her two passengers-Talion and Osborn-were allegedly asked to leave the property and did not comply. All three will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Bambi J. Hawkins, 37, of Sherman was charged Thursday with DWI, aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or higher, failure to use designated lane, failure to signal turn and unregistered motor vehicle. At 2:40 a.m., deputies observed a Hawkins’ vehicle allegedly commit multiple traffic violations on South East Street in Chautauqua. It is alleged that Hawkins was intoxicated. She will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Timothy F. H., 33, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with use of a mobile phone while operating a motor vehicle and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At noon, deputies observed Timothy F. H. allegedly using his mobile phone while stopped at a traffic light in the four corners of Mayville. It is alleged that he had 13 different suspensions for failing to answer previous traffic summonses in eight different courts. He was committed to the county jail in lieu of bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Julie Waterman, 34, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with petit larceny and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At 11:56 p.m., police responded to the 7-Eleven store on Hazeltine Avenue for a reported shoplifting that occurred moments earlier. Police located a suspect matching the description on Newland Avenue near Chautauqua Avenue. While the suspect – Waterman – was being detained for witness identification, she allegedly attempted to flee on foot. She was apprehended after a short pursuit and later identified as the shoplifter who allegedly stole 22 DVDs and candy. She was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – Terri J. Linamen, 58, of Lakewood was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing. It is alleged that Linamen was involved in a domestic dispute with her husband in which she pulled his neck back while pushing him forward in a chair. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

BUSTI – Kevin S. Swanson, 40, of Lakewood was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. At 3:34 a.m., police pulled over Swanson’s vehicle on Hunt Road in Busti for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the Swanson was intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – Jillian R. Matthews, 19, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct after allegedly getting into a physical altercation in the middle of the street with another individual. Matthews will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Mindy S. Tarr of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with larceny after allegedly stealing $400 from the Home Depot, located at 935 Fairmount Ave., while employed there from May to June.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

POMFRET – Aaron J. Martinkovich, 33, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, was charged Monday with speed over 55 mph, DWI common law and aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater. At 7:05 p.m., deputies pulled over a Martinkovich’s vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that Martinkovich was intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Skyler L. Miller, 28, of Ripley was charged on June 27 with felony DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation. At 3 a.m., deputies located a vehicle on Water Street in Mayville. It is alleged that the driver-Miller-was intoxicated and had been previously convicted of DWI within the last 10 years. Miller was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

ELLERY – Felicia J. Cardone-Tefft, 26, of Jamestown was charged on June 26 with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and operating with ignition interlock device. At 10:55 p.m., deputies observed Cardone-Tefft’s vehicle allegedly fail to stop at a stop sign in Ellery. It is alleged that Carone-Tefft was under the influence of drugs and that she had been previously convicted of DWI within the past 10 years. She will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Joseph J. Cartonia, 40, of Cheektowaga was charged Friday with DWI, DWI per se and failure to stop at stop sign. At 11:59 p.m., deputies observed Cartonia’s motorcycle allegedly fail to stop at a stop sign. It is alleged that Cartonia was intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

STOCKTON – Jason D. Seward, 36, of South Dayton was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI per se and failure to use signal. At 5:13 p.m., deputies observed Seward’s vehicle allegedly fail to signal a turn. It is alleged that Seward was intoxicated. He will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Kimberly M. Lewandowski, 22, of Getzville was charged Sunday with DWI, aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or greater and failure to stop at stop sign. At 7:12 p.m., deputies observed Lewandowski’s vehicle alleged fail to stop at a stop sign in Hanover. It is alleged that Lewandowski was intoxicated. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA -Larry E. Moore, 49, of Mayville was charged Tuesday with felony DWI, DWI per se and aggravated DWI. At 6:50 a.m., deputies located Moore’s vehicle in the parking lot of Tops Markets on South Erie Street in Mayville. Another motorist reportedly notified police of his erratic driving. It is alleged that Moore was intoxicated and had a previous conviction within the past 10 years. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

Daniel J. Bass, 33, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree unlawful surveillance. It is alleged that Bass would enter Wegmans and place his phone in a shopping basket while it recorded different women and their intimate parts. Bass was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arthur J. Wright, 34, of Randolph was charged Friday with speed in zone, operating without insurance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 1 a.m., police pulled over Wright’s vehicle on Lakeside Boulevard for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that Wright was intoxicated and had a revoked driver’s license. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE-Mercedez M. Jiminez was charged Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. At 8:11 p.m., deputies served an arrest warrant issued out of North Harmony Court at 85 E. Chautauqua St. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 property bond.

HANOVER-Michael J. Danner, 22, of West Seneca was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to keep right. At 2:42 a.m., deputies pulled over Danner’s vehicle for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Danner had a quantity of marijuana in his possession. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Nichole L. Pachucinski, 35, of Irving was charged Saturday with aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, DWI and failure to signal turn. At 4:37 a.m., deputies pulled over Pachucinski’s vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Newton Street in Irving. It is alleged that Pachucinski was intoxicated. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

FRENCH CREEK-Matthew L. Kern of Clymer was charged Friday with speeding, unregistered motor vehicle, unsafe tire, refusal to take breath test, DWI and aggravated DWI-child in vehicle. At 6:40 p.m., deputies pulled over Kern’s vehicle for speeding on Route 474 in French Creek. It is alleged that Kern was intoxicated and had a child less than 16 years old in his vehicle. He will appear in French Creek Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Melissa Bridges of Westfield was charged Friday with DWI, aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or more, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possession a hypodermic needle and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 9:41 p.m., deputies pulled over Bridges’ vehicle on East Chautauqua Street in Mayville for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Bridges was intoxicated and was in possession of several suboxone films, a hypodermic needle and marijuana. She will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Darien L. Jimerson, 18, of Gowanda was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to stop at a stop sign. Emerson C. Stevens, 18, of Lawtons was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 10:45 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Alleghany Road in Hanover for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that both Jimerson and Stevens were in possession of marijuana. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Shane A. Gerace, 19, of Depew was charged Friday with open container of alcohol under 21 years old. At 9:20 p.m., deputies patrolling the beach area in Sunset Bay observed a male allegedly urinating in view of the public. The male-Gerace-was also allegedly drinking a can of beer, a violation of Hanover Local Law for possession of an open container of alcohol while being under 21 years old He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Matthew R. Thayer, 27, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, unlicensed operation and open container. At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Camp Street, near May Street, for a failing to keep right. Further investigation revealed the driver, Thayer, to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Thayer was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. A chemical breath test revealed his blood alcohol content to be more than twice the legal limit. Thayer was charged, and is awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

James A. Wright, 43, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct and possession of a controlled substance outside of original container. At 10:36 p.m., an officer observed a white male obstructing traffic on East Fairmount Avenue. Upon further investigation, the male was identified as Wright, who was allegedly found to be in possession of multiple controlled substances. Wright was charged, and will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Leah Thomas, 29, of Salamanca was charged Friday with three counts of failure to exercise control of a minor. Thomas was held pending arraignment.

Twyla Capron, 21, of Salamanca was taken into custody Friday on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge. Capron posted bail and was released to appear in court at a later date.

Andrew B. Newark, 31, of Salamanca was taken into custody Saturday for second-degree burglary and petit larceny. He is being held pending arraignment.

Patrick R. Bly, 23, of Randolph, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, unlawful possession of marijuana and following too closely. Bly was processed and released on appearance tickets to appear in court at a later date.

Jacob A. Link, 24, of Salamanca was charged Sunday with aggravated harassment of an employee by inmate, endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and disorderly conduct. He is being held pending arraignment.

Jessica N. Marucci, 23, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Ashley R. Belin, 22, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Amanda R. Nutting, 22, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At 4:44 p.m., it is alleged that all three individuals stole $138.79 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Walmart. All three allegedly had children present during the incident. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

William A. Quinones, 41, and Jolene J. Quinones, 28, both of Mayville, were charged Tuesday with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $230 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Sears. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Jeffrey P. Walton, 35, of Russell, Pennsylvania, was charged Wednesday with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. It is alleged that Walton stole merchandise and damaged property from the Lakewood Walmart. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NORTH HARMONY-Hans D. Schultz, 41, of Westfield was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:07 p.m., deputies responded to the area of 3503 Old Bridge Road in North Harmony for a report of a disorderly person. It is alleged that the person-Schultz-was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

RIPLEY-John R. Rowicki III, 48, of Ripley was charged Tuesday with trespass and second-degree harassment. At 2:40 p.m., deputies responded to a reported altercation on West Main Street in Ripley. It is alleged that Rowicki trespassed on private property and punched another man. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

BROCTON-A 17-year-old male from Brocton was charged Thursday with third-degree burglary. At 5:15 p.m., deputies took the 17-year-old into custody on Fay Street. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond.

MAYVILLE-Kristina L. Beaujean, 32, of Mayville was charged Wednesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 10:03 p.m., deputies conducted a search warrant for Beaujean and took her into custody on a bench warrant. It is alleged that she had Hydrocodone pills without a prescription. She was remanded to the county jail on bail.

DUNKIRK-Michael R. Fantauzzi, 62, of Fredonia was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. At 8:30 a.m., Fantauzzi allegedly went to a business on Vineyard Drive and threw items at an employee. He will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Lisa A. Adams, 48, of Randolph was charged Thursday with consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 12:20 a.m., deputies were investigating a complaint on Ellery-Centralia Road in Ellery. During the investigation, it is alleged that a vehicle-unrelated to the incident-stopped in the roadway. The driver-Adams-reportedly rolled down her window to speak with the deputies. It is alleged that Adams was intoxicated. She will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Troy A. Walker, 28, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. At 2:50 a.m., police responded to 311 Jefferson St. for a reported domestic incident. Police arrived and spoke with a victim who alleged that she and Walker engaged in an argument. It is alleged that Walker restrained the victim and refused to let her leave the residence. When she attempted to leave in her car a few minutes later, Walker allegedly grabbed her belongings and threw them at the car, fracturing the windshield. Walker was taken to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Askai K. Faison, 19, of Dunkirk was charged Monday with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 10:05 p.m., police responded to the area of West Fourth and Cherry streets for a reported male attempting to enter cars and buildings. Police identified a man matching the description on East Second Street near Factory Alley. The man-Faison-allegedly attempted to flee police and initiated a foot pursuit. Police apprehended Faison and later learned he had a warrant from Dunkirk as well. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Bracken D.M. Warren, Amber M. Schoch and Nicholas A. McChesney were charged Tuesday with petit larceny and criminal mischief after allegedly stealing merchandise from K-Mart, located at 975 Fairmount Ave., and attempting to flee. All three will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Adam L. Swanson, 33, of Frewsburg was charged Monday with petit larceny. At noon, police pulled over Swanson in Jamestown and found that he allegedly had a warrant out of Ellicott Court for stealing $200 in merchandise from Gamerz Haven.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tabitha B. Moorhead, 19, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with aggravated unlicensed operator and insufficient tail lamps. John P. Deangelo, 18, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 10:24 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue for allegedly having a tail lamp out. It is alleged that Moorhead had a suspended driver’s license and her passenger Deangelo was in possession of marijuana. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Michael G. Kopta, 46, of Sherman was charged June 25 with second-degree aggravated harassment, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance outside original container, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and unlicensed operator. At 7 p.m., it is alleged that Kopta left the scene of a harassment incident. He was later found in Lakewood and alleged to have an active arrest warrant out of Busti. It is also alleged that he possessed a narcotic drug outside its original container and had a suspended driver’s license. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-David Wojda, 53, of Silver Creek was charged June 24 with driving while intoxicated. At 8:20 p.m., deputies received a complaint of a vehicle almost hitting a child in Silver Creek. It is alleged that the driver-Wojda-was intoxicated. He was located and charged. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

CHERRY CREEK-Allan P. Fish was charged June 24 with second-degree aggravated harassment after an investigation alleged that Fish sent a text message to a victim threatening physical harm on June 14. Fish will appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-Benjamin M. Friedman, 30, of North Collins was charged Saturday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, operating without interlock device, operating with registration suspended and failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change. At 12:01 a.m., Friedman was pulled over on Central Avenue in Silver Creek for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Friedman had revoked driving privileges and a suspended vehicle registration. A passenger in the vehicle was cited for allegedly not wearing a seatbelt. Both will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The report below resulted in a guilty plea to a reduced charge of driving while ability impaired and a parking violation. The remaining charges were dismissed. HANOVER-Janet A. Ponosny, 65, of Irving was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right. At 12:57 a.m., deputies came upon a vehicle off the road near Alleghany Road in Hanover. The vehicle had allegedly exited the roadway into a grape vineyard. Deputies encountered the vehicle as it attempted to flee and lodged itself in a creek. The driver-Ponosny-was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Joshua M. Maxey, 22, of Rochester was charged Sunday with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or greater and moving from lane unsafely. At 12:05 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 394 in Chautauqua for an alleged violation. The driver-Maxey-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Christopher C. Simpson, 39, of Gowanda was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or higher and speeding. At 8:25 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle allegedly speeding on Route 39 in Hanover. The driver-Simpson-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

FREDONIA-Dylan K. Sugden, 20, of Fredonia was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment. At 9:50 p.m., deputies responded to a reported physical altercation in Fredonia. It is alleged that Sugden got into a verbal argument and a physical altercation with another person. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

POLAND-Jessy J. Webb, 24, of Poland was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment. At 10 p.m., Webb allegedly slapped and dragged a person down several stairs. She will appear in Poland Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Nicholas H. Nygren, 18, of Jamestown was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. A 17-year-old male from Celoron was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and a 16-year-old male from Lakewood was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 8:26 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle in North Harmony for an alleged traffic violation. The driver-Nygren-was in possession of marijuana, as well as his two passengers. They will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

GERRY-Jeremy A. Barmore, 29, of Gerry was charged Sunday with third-degree robbery, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment after allegedly detaining, threatening to shoot and taking $40 from two teenagers who were parked in vehicle at a business parking lot in Gerry. No firearm was actually used or displayed, police said. Barmore was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail with no bail and will appear in Gerry Court at later date.
