LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – A 17-year-old youth was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 3:30 a.m., a patrol officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on East Summit Avenue in the village of Lakewood. Upon further investigation, the youth was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. The youth was charged and will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK – Jessica M. Metzler, 22, of Farmington was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated common law, aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to stop at a stop sign. At 9:54 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle travel through a posted stop sign in the village of Silver Creek. Deputies stopped the vehicle and, after speaking to the operator, Metzler, it was found that she was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Metzler was taken into custody and charged. She was arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

HANOVER – Angelica L. Parks, 36, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and unsafe tire. At around 12:15 a.m., deputies observed an occupied vehicle in the ditch along Overhiser Road in the town of Hanover. After an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that Parks was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. She was placed into custody without incident, and was later charged. Parks was released and is to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Yanira Corraliza-Maestre, 20, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with speeding and felony driving while ability impaired by drugs. At 7:02 p.m., deputies observed a northbound motorist on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret to allegedly be speeding. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified Corraliza-Maestre as the operator. After an investigation, she was taken into custody and charged. Additionally, there was allegedly a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle, upgrading the charge to a felony under Leandra’s Law. Corraliza-Maestre was processed and later released. She will appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Antwan M. Garner, 30, of Buffalo was charged Friday with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 2 a.m., officers responded to a reported domestic incident at 529 Crescent St. A female victim alleged that her ex-boyfriend, Garner, pushed her multiple times and broke some of her jewelry. Garner was apprehended a short time later after leaving the scene. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he is awaiting arraignment.

Andrew J. Hribar, 27, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment. At 1:33 a.m., police responded to a Forest Avenue address for a reported domestic dispute in progress. It is alleged that Hribar threatened to kill the victim, held the victim down on a bed and prevented the victim from leaving the room. Hribar was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and will appear in city court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK-Mariah G. Santiago, 23, of Dunkirk was charged Thursday at 2:50 p.m. with petit larceny after allegedly stealing items from Tops Markets. Santiago will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CONEWANGO-Timothy B. Walsh, 28, of Jamestown was taken into custody Wednesday after a traffic stop on Route 62 in Conewango. It is alleged that he had an arrest warrant charging him with larceny, issued from Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana. He was taken to Randolph Court and arraigned as a fugitive from justice. He was remanded to the county jail with no bail.

YORKSHIRE-Martin P. Swartzmiller Jr., 50, was charged March 20 with felony driving while intoxicated with prior conviction, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without an ignition interlock device, failure to stop at stop sign, failure to signal turn and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At 8:46 p.m., Swartzmiller was pulled over on Route 16 in Yorkshire for alleged traffic infractions. Deputies allegedly observed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. Swartzmiller allegedly had previous DWI convictions and did not possess a license. He was arraigned in Yorkshire Court with bail set at $5,000.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jeremy Dahlgren, 27, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, obstructing governmental administration, reckless driving, unlawful possession of marijuana and unsafe backing. At 2:29 a.m., police observed a vehicle allegedly fail to use a turn signal when making a turn from Buffalo Street onto Falconer Street. It is alleged that the vehicle struck a curb on Falconer Street, stopped near Dearing Avenue and then reversed into a police vehicle. Both vehicles sustained damage. Dahlgren was transported to the city jail where he is being held in lieu of bail. He will appear in city court at a later date.

Joel I. Rosario Negron, 32, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree burglary. At 11:10 a.m., Negron was detained while walking on Prendergast Avenue near Crossman Street because he was allegedly wanted on several outstanding domestic violence warrants issued out of city court. Further investigation revealed that Negron had allegedly entered and caused damage to a garage at 1044 N. Main St.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 16-year-old youth was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana, inadequate tires, driving unsupervised with a permit and no front license plate. An 18-year-old youth was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. At 12:34 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Baker Street Extension in Busti for inadequate tires, driving unsupervised without a permit and no front license plate. It is alleged that the driver-the 16-year-old youth-was in possession of marijuana. The 18-year-old passenger was allegedly in possession of brass knuckles. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Stephanie Villafane, 21, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with petit larceny after allegedly conspiring with another female and stealing $201.40 worth of clothing and random merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Genesis N. Nazario, 19, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with petit larceny, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. It is alleged that Nazario conspired with another female and stole $201.40 worth of clothing and random merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is also alleged that she became disorderly in the store and attempted to prevent officers from placing her into custody. She was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Judy L. Woodmansee, 40, of Ashville was charged Tuesday with DWI common law, DWI per se, unsafe backing and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 2 a.m., police investigated a fight that occurred at the Good Time Saloon. During the investigation, it is alleged that Woodmansee attempted to leave and backed her vehicle into a patrol car. She was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RIPLEY-Roy R. Yokom, 38, of North East, Pennsylvania, was charged Monday with DWI, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 8:54 p.m., deputies observed a speeding vehicle on West Main Street in Ripley. It is alleged that the driver-Yokom-was intoxicated and had suspended driving privileges. He was also allegedly in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

CARROLL-Todd M. Boardman, 27, of Frewsburg was charged Friday with petit larceny. At 4:45 p.m., deputies responded to a shoplifting call at the Dollar General Store in Carroll. It is alleged that Boardman stole various items from the store. The items were later returned. Boardman will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Jacob J. Davidson, 19, of Westfield was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault. At 5:50 p.m., Davidson was taken into custody at his Westfield residence on a charge stemming from a December 2014 incident, in which he allegedly struck another person in the head twice with a metal pipe. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

Nicole M. Oste, 32, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with misuse of food stamps and two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that Oste failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services that a member of her household was employed and receiving wages. Oste allegedly received $2,525 in unentitled SNAP food benefits between Dec. 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013. Oste also allegedly failed to list the employment on two separate applications filed by DHHS. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tarand R. Kindred, 31, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree mischief. At 2:30 a.m., officers responded to 23 Barrows St. #1 for a reported unwanted person. It is alleged that Kindred was inside the apartment and did not have permission to be there. It is also alleged that he damaged property inside the apartment. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kevin A. Ropes, 52, of Rocky River, Ohio, was charged Saturday with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated common law and DWI per with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. He was remanded to the county jail on $1,000 cash/$2,000 property bond. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Nicholas J. Kanaby, 36, of Falconer was charged Sunday with second-degree criminal contempt for violating a court order of protection. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Donald A. Erickson Jr., of Ramona, California, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se with BAC of .08 percent or more, failure to dim high beams and moving from lane unsafely. He was remanded to the county jail on $1,000 cash/$2,000 property bond. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tiffany E. Kenny, 26, was charged Friday with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $96 worth of clothing from the Lakewood Sears. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

POMFRET – Scott K. Wise, 53, of Cassadaga was charged Thursday with second-degree aggravated operation and operation of a motor vehicle while on a cellphone. At 7:16 p.m., deputies stopped Wise on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret for operating a motor vehicle while on a cellphone. Following an investigation, it was determined that Wise had a revoked New York state license. The revocation was from a prior driving while intoxicated conviction. Wise will appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – Justin B. Whitehead, 25, of Sherman was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and inadequate exhaust. At 7:54 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Main Street in the town of Sherman for inadequate exhaust. The driver was identified as Whitehead. Deputies allegedly observed several bags of marijuana and a marijuana pipe within the vehicle in plain view. Whitehead was charged and will appear in Sherman Village Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

POLAND-Robert S. Daniels, 34, of Olean was charged Monday with felony driving while intoxicated (due to a previous conviction), first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana after State Troopers stopped to check on a vehicle that was pulled over on I-86 in Poland. The driver- Daniels- stated he had been involved in a car/deer accident and his car would not run. Daniels was found to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .16 was obtained. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Howard A. Tibbetts Jr., 51, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, speed in zone, no/improper signal, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 11:43 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle speeding across the Third Street Bridge toward Washington Street. It is alleged that the driver-Tibbetts-was intoxicated and had a small amount of crack cocaine. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Bryan J. Postolowski, 28, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, false impersonation, obstructing governmental administration and second-degree criminal trespass. At 11:50 p.m., police responded to a domestic incident at 503 Winsor St. At the scene, they spoke with a female victim who alleged that she and Postolowski got into an argument. It is alleged that Postolowski pushed her into a room and prevented her from leaving. Postolowski then allegedly left the scene and was observed by police running toward Lakeview Avenue and later Prendergast Avenue. He allegedly refused to listen to police orders to stop. Postolowski was later apprehended at a residence and allegedly gave officers a false name and date of birth. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Maddie J. Seiler, 26, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At 4:15 p.m., police responded to the Big Lots/Family Dollar parking lot for a report of two children left unattended in a vehicle. Further investigation revealed that three children were left inside a vehicle. It is alleged that Sieler-their mother-had left her children in her car for more than 15 minutes while she was shopping in Family Dollar. The children were turned over to family members. Sieler will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD -?Shawn D. O’Sullivan, 18, and Brittany E. Crane, 18, both of Jamestown, were charged Wednesday with petit larceny. It is alleged that both individuals stole merchandise valued at $49.96 from the Lakewood Walmart. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

BUSTI – Daniel Nickerson, 29, of Clymer was charged Thursday with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. At 11:30 p.m., police observed a vehicle speeding on Busti Sugar Grove Road in Busti. It is alleged that the driver-Nickerson-was intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – Marco M. Russo, 42, Jorge Gonzales Jr., 35, and Jessica L. Hann, 32, all of Jamestown, were all apprehended on arrest warrants for petit larceny. It is alleged that all three individuals were involved in numerous larcenies from the Chautauqua Mall. Russo allegedly took two pairs of shoes and a set of two right-foot shoes from the mall. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail. Hann will appear in Busti Court at a later date. Gonzales was transported to the Jamestown Police Department due to an active arrest warrant out of Jamestown.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-Jeremy J. Morris, 37, of Corry, Pennsylvania, was charged Wednesday with fugitive from justice, operating a motor vehicle while registration revoked, operating a motor vehicle without registration, unlicensed operator, no seatbelt, possession or consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and inadequate tail lamps. At 5:34 p.m., deputies observed a driver who was allegedly not wearing a seatbelt on Andrus Street in Silver Creek. It is alleged that the driver-Morris-had a suspended driver’s license and a vehicle that had its insurance and registration revoked. It is also alleged that Morris had open containers of alcohol and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Deputies also discovered that Morris allegedly had active warrants out of Erie County, Pennsylvania. He was arraigned in court on the new charges and as a fugitive from justice on the warrants. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

MAYVILLE-Joshua Reynolds, 20, of Mayville was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree menacing. At 4:04 p.m., deputies responded to a disorderly person complaint on Morris Street in Mayville. It is alleged that Reynolds broke a cellphone and chased an individual with a pizza cutter. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

MAYVILLE-Whitney T. Lindblad, 27, of Jamestown was charged Friday with fifth-degree welfare fraud, petit larceny and fraudulent receipt of benefits. It is alleged that Lindblad received family assistance benefits from the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services from Sept. 1, 2014, to Oct. 31, 2014. It is also alleged that she told a DHHS worker on Aug. 26, 2014, that she had no income. An investigation revealed that Lindblad had been receiving income on Aug. 22, 2014. It is alleged that she received $950 in unentitled benefits. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Luz N. Santiago Torres, 34, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Santiago Torres tried to shoplift from the Dollar General Store in Hanover, and committed the act in front of her 12-year-old child. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

RIPLEY-Timothy A. Conklin, 61, of Ripley was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. It is alleged that Conklin removed his neighbor’s property line stakes and damaged them. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-Brandon R. Thomas, 24, of Buffalo was charged Thursday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and no distinctive plate. Eliashuwon T. Lyles, 25, of Buffalo was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Wendy E. Lawrence, 50, of Buffalo was charged Thursday on a warrant arrest. At 5:56 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. It is alleged that Thomas’ driving privileges were suspended and Lyles was in possession of marijuana. It is also alleged that Lawrence had an active felony arrest warrant for grand larceny. She was turned over to the Olean Police Department.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA-Darrin J. Lichy, 25, of Salamanca was taken into custody Monday with a violation of probation warrant. He was taken to the county jail with no bail.

MANSFIELD-Jonathan R. Huchingson, 29, of Little Valley was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal contempt. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $250.

NAPOLI-Marc A. Oakes, 53, of Cattaraugus was charged Tuesday with DWI, DWI with blood alcohol content of more than .08 percent and no seat belt following a traffic stop on Allegany Road in Napoli. He will appear in Napoli Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING-David A. Doner, 38, of Conewango was charged on March 6 with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in Coldspring. He will appear in Coldspring Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING-Joseph H. Sluga, 69, of Steamburg was charged on March 5 with felony DWI, DWI with BAC more than .08 percent, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right, failure to signal and no interlock device following a traffic stop on Lebanon Road in Coldspring. He will appear in Coldspring Court at a later date.

GREAT VALLEY-Heather M. Chase, 23, of Salamanca was charged Sunday with DWI, speed not reasonable unlicensed operation and failure to maintain lane. At 4:20 a.m., deputies responded to a rollover accident on Route 219 in Great Valley. It is alleged that the driver-Chase-was drinking and operating without a license. She will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Charles R. Raeon, 71, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated. At 2:31 a.m., police on the south side of the city observed a vehicle allegedly fail to keep right and cross the center line. It is alleged that the driver-Raeon-was intoxicated. He was transported to the city jail.

Karen M. Danson, 29, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 10:50 a.m., police responded to 45 Baker St. for a violation of an order of protection. It is alleged that Danson had violated a court order of protection by being with a victim. She was transported to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jeremy P. Dahlgren, 27, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER-Timothy M. Waz, 51, of Angola was charged March 12 with DWI per se, DWI common law, speed in zone, unlicensed operator and open container. At 7:27 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle that was allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the driver-Waz-was intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

CARROLL-Nathen D. Conrad, 22, of Frewsburg was charged March 14 with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage to a person under 21 years old. It is alleged that Conrad-an employee of Frewsburg Wine and Spirits at 22 W. Main St. in Frewsburg-sold a bottle of vodka to a 17-year-old female. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date. This was a result of an underage drinking initiative in Chautauqua County conducted by the State Police.

NORTH HARMONY-Andrew R. Stinley, 23, of Erie, Pennsylvania was charged Tuesday with driving while ability impaired by drugs after a traffic stop for not wearing a seatbelt on I-86 in North Harmony. While interviewing Stinley, Troopers detected an odor of marijuana and conducted field sobriety tests on Stinley. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for evaluation by a drug recognition expert and was found to be in possession of marijuana. Stinley was released on $300 bail. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Otis L. McGaughy Jr., 32, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 7:52 p.m., police stopped a vehicle at Kingsbury Street and North Main Street for allegedly not stopping at a stop sign. The passenger-McGaughy-allegedly had a valid order of protection to stay away from the driver. He was transported to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Michael S. Rogers, 53, of Jamestown was charged Friday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 8:48 p.m., police responded to a fight call at 25 Hazzard St. in the upper apartment. Police allegedly could hear yelling for help in the apartment. It is alleged that Rogers was located hiding in a blanket inside the apartment, refusing to show his hands. It is also alleged that he became combative and lunged at officers. He was transported to the city jail in lieu of bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Devin M. Figueroa, 21, and Victoria E. Woodard, 20, both of Jamestown, were charged Monday with petit larceny. At 5:30 p.m., both were allegedly observed placing a pair of infant shoes on their child and taking a set of adult shoes without paying for them. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Jesse D. Fairbanks and Chelsea I. Allen, both of Perrysburg, were charged Monday at 10:40 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged they stole merchandise from Wal-Mart. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-James A. Howard, 21, of Perrysburg was charged Friday with fourth-degree grand larceny, four counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and three counts of second-degree forgery. It is alleged that Howard stole a credit card in January, used it at numerous stores and forged the victim’s signature. He was located in Perrysburg by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and remanded to the county jail.

SILVER CREEK-Arthur T. Beebe, 62, of Angola was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated per se, DWI common law and moving from lane unsafely. At 5:10 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle allegedly move into the oncoming traffic lane. The driver-Beebe-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

Erik Nollinger, 36, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with violation of a probation warrant for criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. At 8:20 p.m., deputies and a K9 unit conducted a warrant check at Winsor Street residence. It is alleged that Nollinger was violating a probation charge. He will appear in Chautauqua County Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-David N. Payne, 53, of Stratford, Connecticut, was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment, second-degree criminal trespass and endangering the welfare of a child. At 9:10 p.m., deputies were called to a residence in Silver Creek for a reported physical altercation. Deputies split the two parties involved and found that Payne allegedly slapped and slammed the head of a female victim in front of a child. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

HANOVER-Malcolm M. East, 21, of Silver Creek was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 6:42 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle parked in the driving lane with its hazard lights on and its driver flagging them. It is alleged that the driver-East-had marijuana in his vehicle. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

CARROLL-Terence E. Sweeney, 26, of Kennedy was charged Monday with criminal obstruction of breathing, third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment after Troopers responded to an alleged domestic dispute at his residence. Sweeney was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

A female juvenile was charged Saturday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest following a warrant check at 2 E. Main St. in Falconer. She will appear in Family Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Paul A. Gregory, 55, of Jamestown has been charged with violation of probation. On Sunday, deputies performed a warrant check on Front Street in Jamestown. Gregory was located within his residence, and he was taken into custody. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment at a later date.

RIPLEY – Mark R. Hagen, 61, of Westfield was charged recently with failure to yield right of way while entering roadway. On Saturday, deputies responded to a personal injury accident on West Main Street in the town of Ripley. It was determined on scene that Hagen failed to yield the right of way while entering the roadway and, as a result, was struck by another vehicle – causing damage to both vehicles. The other motorist was transported to Westfield Memorial Hospital for treatment and was released later that day.

FORESTVILLE – At 8:02 p.m. Saturday, a fire occurred at 2 Cedar St. in Forestville. The Forestville Fire Department requested the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office respond to determine the origin and cause of the fire. Fire investigators determined the fire originated within a mid-wall mounted electrical outlet box. The fire spread onto a bed and, later, throughout the residence. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross also responded and will assist the residents.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Mark R. Burch Sr., 44, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. At 9:56 p.m., police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Jones and Gifford Avenue and Lister Street. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Burch, who was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana in his vehicle. Further investigation led to officers’ discovery of an electronic stun gun also in the vehicle. Burch was taken into custody and charged. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kevin Richmond, 44, of Fredonia was charged Thursday with speed in zone, unregistered motot vehicle, fractured windshield, driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At 12:08 a.m., police observed a speeding vehicle traveling south on North Main Street. It is alleged that the driver-Richmond-was intoxicated. It is also alleged that the registration to Richmond’s vehicle was expired and he had a fractured windshield. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

An 18-year-old female from Jamestown was charged Tuesday with petit larceny. A complain was filed by Tim Hortons in Lakewood regarding an alleged internal theft by an employee. It is alleged that the 18-year-old female took $40 while she was an employee. She will appear in Busti Court on March 19.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER-Philip N. Tirone, 35, of Silver Creek was charged March 1 with first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree harassment. At 6:15 p.m., Tirone allegedly had sexual contact with a victim without the victim’s consent. The contact was allegedly mady by physical force while giving the victim a ride home. Tirone was remanded to the county jail on $10,000 cash/$20,000 property bail. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

Serena Abers, 39, of Celoron was charged Monday with misuse of stamps, third-degree grand larceny and four counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. Thomas J. Meredith, 46, of Celoron was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that Abers and Meredith filed multiple applications and recertifications with the Department of Social Services claiming that a dependent was living with them. An investigation revealed that there wasn’t a dependent living with them. The claim resulted in Abers allegedly receiving $7,000.41 in unentitled food stamp and Medicaid benefits. Both will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

PORTLAND-Jordan L. Plaud, 21, of Olean was charged March 5 with second-degree criminal contempt. It is alleged that Plaud was with a female at a Portland residence while having a valid order of protection to stay away from her. He was remanded in the county jail on $1,000 cash/$2,000 property bail. He will appear in Portland Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

ELLERY – Mark J. Zaprowski, 58, of Williamsville was charged Saturday with operating a snowmobile while intoxicated and operating a snowmobile without a helmet after he was observed allegedly driving a snowmobile across Route 430 in Ellery without a helmet. It is alleged that Zaprowski was intoxicated and a BAC of .13 was later obtained. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Michael G. Kopta, 46, of Sherman was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, speeding and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after he was pulled over on I-86 in North Harmony. He was allegedly intoxicated and a BAC of .15 was later obtained. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Christopher M. Small, 41, of Falconer was charged Monday with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. At 12:48 a.m., police pulled over Small for speeding on Washington Street. It is alleged that Small was not the registered owner of the vehicle and had stolen it days earlier. He was transported to the city jail an is awaiting arraignment.

Matthew Wielobob, 35, of Russell, Pennsylvania, was charged Sunday with speed in zone, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content more than .18 percent and failure to comply with lawful police order. At 5:34 p.m., police pulled over Wielobob on Ivy Street near Foote Avenue for allegedly speeding and failing to comply with the marked patrol car. It is alleged that Wielobob was intoxicated and had a BAC two times the legal limit. He was transported to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Ervin L. Mitchell, 44, was charged on March 3 for fugitive from justice. Jamestown police assisted Pinellas County, Florida with locating Mitchell who was an allegedly wanted out of Florida for felony aggravated stalking. Officers located Ervin on the south side of Jamestown. He was taken into custody without incident and will appear in city court at a later date.

Steven S. Brigiotta, 36, of Jamestown was charged Friday with second-degree aggravated harassment. At 10:40 p.m., police responded to WCA Hospital for a disorderly male in the emergency room parking lot. It is alleged that Brigiotta called the WCA Hospital security guard via telephone and threatened physical harm to the guard prior to arriving at the hospital. Brigiotta was taken to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Richard Philbrick, 29, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 2:11 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Harrison Street and determined that Philbrick allegedly had suspended driving privileges in New York state. Officers also allegedly found heroin and methamphetamine that Philbrick dropped on the ground. He was transported to the city jail where he is being held on bail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shawn F. Carlson, 36, of Lakewood was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment. At 1 p.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute at 23 Maple St. in Celoron. It is alleged that Carlson struck a female victim multiple times after an argument. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 property bond.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Silk E. Spencer, 27, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. At 11:55 a.m., police responded to 4 Freeman St. in Lakewood for a domestic incident. Officers allegedly saw a man jump out of a window and flee the scene. He was located a short time later and taken into custody. The man-Spencer-allegedly violated an active order of protection. He was taken to the county jail and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Wendy Lynn Clark, 48, of Busti was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated per se, DWI with a BAC of .08 percent or higher, aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or higher and failure to keep right. At 10:19 p.m., police observed a vehicle swerving out of its lane on South Main Street Extension in Busti. It is alleged that the driver-Clark-was intoxicated. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Cheyenne M. Hodges, 23, of Jamestown was charged on March 3 with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. At 4:09 p.m., Hodges allegedly stole $49.64 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart while in the presence of two small children. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Russell H. Myers, 47, of Ashville was charged Wednesday with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Nicole D. Kendal, 38, of Ashville was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The charges stem from an incident that occurred at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

John M. Wilbert, 33, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct. At 6:15 p.m., police were assisting Lakewood fire crews as they responded to a fire alarm at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Wilbert was allegedly yelling across the parking lot at a group of girl scouts and their leaders who were selling cookies. He was allegedly intoxicated and taken into custody for making unreasonable noise. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-Rachael Quiter, 19, of Derby was charged Saturday with inadequate/no muffler and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 1:02 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle in Silver Creek for allegedly having an inadequate exhaust. It is alleged that the driver-Quiter-was in possession of marijuana. She will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-Brian K. Gallaway, 42, of Irving was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 4:42 p.m., deputies responded to a reported dispute on Howard Street in Silver Creek. It is alleged that Gallaway was involved in an altercation with another individual in which he damaged personal property. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

FREDONIA-Clarence M. Kennedy, 18, of Lawton was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to a disorderly conduct complaint. It is alleged that Kennedy was acting suspicious by placing both his hands in the pockets of his jeans during a search in a counselor’s office. While in a public place, Kennedy allegedly became vulgar and non-cooperative. When a deputy advised Kennedy to turn around for a search of possible weapons, Kennedy allegedly turned away and became aggressive toward the deputy. He was taken to the county jail in lieu of $250 and $500 property bail.

POMFRET-Jorge L. Colon-Vargas, 40, of Dunkirk was charged Sunday with failure to use designated lane, moving from lane unsafely, DWI and aggravated DWI. At 3:27 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly failing to use designated lane and moving from lane unsafely. It is alleged that the driver-Colon-Vargas-was intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT-Jeffrey T. Semonovich, 50, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was charged Friday with improper/no turn signal, DWI and aggravated DWI. At 10:08 p.m., deputies pulled over Semonovich for allegedly not using a turn signal. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA-Cory A. Foster, 26, of Little Valley was charged on March 3 with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in Salamanca. He will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING-Raymond Nieves, 36, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

SINCLAIRVILLE-Brian M. Tarbell, 49, of Sinclairville was charged Saturday with third-degree menacing and aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 or higher. At 1:45 p.m., troopers responded to a domestic incident involving Tarbell, who allegedly drove away from the scene. Tarbell was located driving on Charlotte Center Road in Sinclairville after he was pulled over for reportedly having no side view mirror. It is alleged that Tarbell was intoxicated and a BAC of .23 was later obtained. He will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

DEPARTMENT

BUSTI – William R. Lindberg III, 53, of Panama was charged Friday with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, reckless driving and following too closely. At approximately 2:50 p.m., officers observed a traffic violation along Route 394 in the town of Busti. After stopping the vehicle, the driver was identified as Lindberg, whom police said became very aggressive with the officers. Lindberg was asked to exit his vehicle and, upon exiting, became combative. He was then taken into custody and charged. He was transported and processed by police, and arraigned in Busti Town Court. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail for $1,000 bail.

ASHVILLE – Quentin Z. Newhouse, 23, of Ashville was taken into custody Saturday and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, operation of a motor vehicle while using a mobile device, failure to keep right and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. At 4:58 p.m., officers executed a traffic stop along Baker Street Extension in the town of Busti for an observed traffic violation. Newhouse was identified as the driver, and was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody and later released with an appearance ticket. He is due back in Busti Town Court at a later date for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

KIANTONE – Jonathon D. Bellardo, 25, of Frewsburg was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and speeding. At approximately 1:50 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 60 in the town of Kiantone. Investigation allegedly found the operator of the vehicle, Bellardo, to be intoxicated. Bellardo was taken into custody and charged. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Town Court next month to answer the charges.

HANOVER – Jesse Borrello, 18, of Forestville was charged recently with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. On Thursday, Feb. 19, deputies were dispatched to the area of Pearl Street in the village of Forestville for a snowmobile complaint. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with Borrello and three male youths. After an investigation, it was found that Borrello had allegedly been smoking marijuana with the three male youths. On Friday, Borrello was issued an appearance ticket for the above charges, and he will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Michael D. Johnson, 29, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with felony driving while intoxicated and speeding. At 9:37 p.m., police observed a Dodge Avenger allegedly speeding down Falconer Street. It is alleged that the driver-Johnson-was intoxicated. He allegedly had a previous DWI conviction in the past 10 years. He was taken to the city jail without incident.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ronald Anderson, 22, of Jamestown was charged on Feb. 27 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, inadequate headlights, failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:07 p.m., police observed a vehicle turn onto Shadyside Road with a headlamp out. It is alleged that the driver-Anderson-was intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Adam L. Morrision, 27, of Lakewood was charged Sunday with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 9:30 p.m., police responded to a Lakewood residence for a reported domestic incident. It is alleged that Morrison assaulted and unlawfully restrained his ex-girlfriend for several minutes in her home before her current boyfriend was able to stop him. It is also alleged that another incident occurred the previous night, in which Morrison struck the victim in the face with a remote and prevented her from calling the police by breaking the phone. Morrison will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-Michael R. Shanahan, 60, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 8:54 p.m., deputies were called to a residence in Silver Creek to check the well-being of the residents. It is alleged that one of the residents was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Lloyd D. Delahoy, 56, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated and no or inadequate headlights after a traffic stop for no passenger side headlight on East Second Street at 9:45 p.m. in Jamestown. Troopers detected an odor of alcohol and administered field sobriety tests on Delahoy. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .15 was obtained. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

James W. Taylor, 28, of Pennsylvania was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right. At 10:20 p.m., police observed a Subaru Legacy strike a curb while driving north on North Main Street near East Fifth Street. It is alleged that the driver-Taylor-was intoxicated. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and will appear in City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Nicholas J. Kanaby, 36, of Falconer was charged Friday with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment. At 5 p.m., it is alleged that Kanaby refused to let a female victim leave a residence when she attempted to leave, and later struck her in the face, causing a left eye injury. Kanaby fled the scene before police arrived. At 6:45 p.m., it is alleged that Kanaby called the victim and threatened her for calling the police. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Mitchell Ray Lawrence, 29, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with speeding, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 5:08 p.m., Lawrence was stopped for allegedly speeding in Busti. It is also alleged that Lawrence’s driving privileges were suspended and that he had a small possession of marijuana. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Gabriel Galan-Alvarez, 20, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 6:27 p.m., it is alleged that Galan-Alvarez stole merchandise valued at $229.40 from Wal-Mart in Lakewood. It is also alleged that he damaged the property in the process of the larceny. Galan-Alvarez was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK-Daniel S. Lukasik Jr., 23, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with driving under the influence of drugs and parked on pavement. At 11 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on Brigham Road in Dunkirk. The driver-Lukasik-and a passenger allegedly changed positions in the vehicle. It is alleged that Lukasik was impaired by drugs. He will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Genevieve P. McIntosh-Post, 39, of Jamestown was charged Friday with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny and fraudulent receipt of benefits. It is alleged that McIntosh-Post failed to report that her husband was employed and had income during February and March 2012. She reportedly received family assistance benefits totalling $1,664. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Clayton A. Smith, 38, of Latham was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and unsafe backing. At 2:54 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret for a traffic violation. The operator was identified as Smith, and investigation allegedly found Smith to have been operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Smith was taken into custody and, after processing, was released with traffic tickets. He will appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date to answer the aforementioned charges.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Ana E. Morales, 31, of Jamestown was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely after she was pulled over on Victoria Avenue in Jamestown at 1:45 a.m. for a traffic infraction. Field sobriety tests were administered and Morales was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .18 was obtained. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Michelle G. Loiacono, 37, of Jamestown was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and no plate lamp following a traffic stop on Fourth Street at 3:10 a.m. in Jamestown for a traffic infraction. After field sobriety tests, she was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .16 was obtained. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT- Timothy L. Warner, 59, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, inadequate brake lights and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Route 394 in Ellicott for no driver’s side brake light. Warner was processed at the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .12 was obtained. Warner will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
