LAKEWOOD – Juan Pacheco, 32, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with no/inadequate headlamps and driving while intoxicated. At 3:05 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood for not having its headlamps on. It is alleged that the driver-Pacheco-was intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD – Jennifer J. Griffith, 19, of Conewango Valley was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana, headlamp out and brake light out. At 2:27 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on West Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood for not having a headlamp or brake light on. It is alleged that the driver-Griffith-was in possession of marijuana. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
ELLICOTT – George A. Wright Jr., 37, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with sixth-degree conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child. At 7 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at Wegmans in West Ellicott. It is alleged that Wright attempted to block a surveillance camera while another individual stole items. It is also alleged that Wright did this in the presence of an individual under the age of 17. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Megan M. Curran, 26, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with sixth-degree conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child. At 7 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at Wegmans in West Ellicott. It is alleged that Curran attempted to block a surveillance camera while another individual stole items. It is also alleged that Curran did this in the presence of an individual under the age of 17. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SILVER CREEK-Vincent L. Johnson, 23, was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal mischief. At 4:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a disorderly person at a residence in Silver Creek. It is alleged that Johnson damaged property in excess of $250 that belonged to a family member. He was remanded in the county jail and will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
A 17-year-old man from Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated Family Offense. At 6:50 p.m., police responded to 68 Grant St. for a domestic incident. It is alleged that the 17-year-old man punched a hole in a bedroom wall that belonged to the victim. There was also an order of protection reportedly in effect to keep the 17-year-old man from committing any criminal acts against the victim. The 17-year-old man was transported to the city jail. A criminal history check revealed that he had a previous conviction of second-degree criminal contempt within the previous five years.
Greggory J. Brady, 19, of Frewsburg was charged Thursday with unlawful imprisonment, second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. At 10:34 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute at a 525 Foote Ave. address. It is alleged that Brady was involved in a physical altercation with a female victim, who claimed Brady grabbed an infant from a vehicle and ran with the infant across four lanes of traffic on Foote Avenue. Officers located Brady with the infant several blocks from the scene. It was also alleged that Brady used the female victim’s vehicle without her permission. Brady was transported to the city jail.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Benjamin J. Osman, 37, of Celoron was charged Thursday with third-degree assault. At 2 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute at 47 W. Fifth St. in Celoron. It is alleged that Osman struck a female victim in the face causing injury to the victim’s mouth. Osman was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail and $2,000 property bond. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a late date.
Richard A. Philbrick, 29, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly stealing several packages of meat inside his coat from Wegmans. It is alleged Philbrick took the meat in front of a small child in his custody at the time. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Alberto Narvaez-Aponte, 33, of Jamestown was charged Thursday at 11:10 a.m. with petit larceny after allegedly stealing four shirts under his jacket from Sears. He will appear in Busti Court on Feb. 5.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
BROCTON-Stephen D. Wisecarver Jr., 38, of Brocton was charged Tuesday with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment. At 3:45 p.m., deputies responded to an altercation on Lake Avenue in Brocton. It is alleged that Wisecarver choked and kicked an individual at the residence. He was apprehended after leaving the scene. He will appear in Brocton Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Kevin Ross, 50, of Jamestown was charged Monday with felony driving while intoxicated and improper turn. At 12:13 p.m., police responded to a call of a vehicle stuck in a snow bank at the intersection of Myrtle Street and Smith Avenue. It is alleged that the driver-Ross-crashed into the snow bank after making an improper turn. It is also alleged that Ross was intoxicated. He was arrested after reportedly failing a series of sobriety tests. A computer check revealed that Ross had a previous DWI conviction in June 2008, making the charge a felony. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Tanisha L. Thayer, 18, was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal tampering. At 12:22 a.m., police were called to a 7 S. Main St. address after a report of a disorderly female. Officers learned that the suspect had left the area prior to their arrival. It is alleged that Thayer intentionally knocked over a small plant and had thrown food at the location, causing a substantial amount of debris to be deposited on the floor and a countertop. Thayer was later found and transported to the city jail.

SHERMAN – Michele L. Irwin, 41, of Erie, Pennsylvania was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. Melissa L. Fiesler, 44, also of Erie, Pennsylvania, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Tonia M. Bohman, 45, also of Erie, Pennsylvania was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. All were charged after their vehicle was stopped for speeding on I-86 in Sherman. While interviewing Irwin, a strong odor of marijuana was detected. Irwin was allegedly found with approximately six grams of marijuana and a metal knuckle knife. Fiesler was allegedly found with a handgun without having a New York state pistol permit. Bohman was found with about 14 grams of marihuana. All three individuals will appear in Sherman Court.

Michael J. Cataldo, 19, of Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and inadequate head lamps. At 10:46 p.m., police on Big Tree Road in Busti observed a vehicle with an apparent equipment violation. It is alleged that the driver-Cataldo-was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

SHERMAN-Heather L. Ramsey-Sheldon, 34, of Sherman was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and resisting arrest. At 12:41 a.m., deputies responded to the Cooler Cafe in Sherman for a report of a disorderly person. It was also reported that this person was attempting to leave in a vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and determined that Ramsey-Sheldon was allegedly intoxicated. She also allegedly resisted arrest. She will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.
CASSADAGA-Zachary J. Sauberan, 20, of Cassadaga was charged Saturday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, speed in zone and failure to maintain lane. At 12 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Maple Avenue for speeding. It is alleged that the driver-Sauberan-was in possession of several Hydrocodone pills and marijuana. He will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT-Obryan Ramos, 27, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Myleishka E. Mendez, 21, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana. Both were charged after a traffic stop on Route 60 in Ellicott for dark tinted windows. When interviewing Ramos, police detected a strong odor of marijuana. Ramos was found to be in possession of marihuana as was the passenger- Mendez- who had concealed a bag of marihuana in her boot. They will both appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Sharrica M. Green, 20, and Searcy E. Fields, 45, both of Jamestown were each charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Friday. At approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded to the Lakewood Wal-Mart, where it is alleged that Green and Fields conspired to steal $680.28 in merchandise. While in the process of the larceny, both parties damaged $175.92 in deli products – which are not able to be resold by Wal-Mart. Both parties were released with an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SHERIDAN – Timothy W. McIntosh, 23, of Rochester was charged Sunday following a traffic stop. At approximately 2 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 20 in the town of Sheridan. Investigation found the operator of the vehicle, McIntosh, to be intoxicated. McIntosh was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and speeding. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Sheridan Town Court next month to answer the charges.

Felix J. Lozada, 25, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 11:41 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle driven by Lozada and allegedly observed a set of chuka sticks inside. Lozada was transported to the city jail where he is being held on bail.

LAKEWOOD – Allison M. Lowery, 18, of Lakewood was charged Thursday at 5:18 p.m. with petit larceny after allegedly stealing merchandise totaling $50.96 from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT – Dana A. Moore of Falconer was charged Thursday with third-degree assault after an alleged violent domestic incident in Ellicott. Moore will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

POMFRET-Michael P. Mcniff, 43, of Cassadaga was charged Thursday with failure to signal a turn, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 9:18 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle that allegedly failed to signal a turn on Webster Road in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver was intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
HANOVER -John P. Roszman, 49, of Derby was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana, improper plates, no insurance, unregistered motor vehicle and uninspected motor vehicle. At 5:32 a.m., deputies responded to a reported vehicle off the road on Buffalo Road in Hanover. It is alleged that Roszman drove the vehicle off the road and was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK-Scott R. Fletcher, 24, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal mischief. At 6:10 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to Peek’n Peak Resort for a report of a disorderly person damaging property. It is alleged that Fletcher caused damage to a glass window at the Annex Building. He will appear in Mina Court at a later date and was remanded to the county jail.
CHAUTAUQUA-Joseph J. Graziano, 47, of Mayville was charged Thursday with felony DWI, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to yield right of way at a stop sign. At 6:07 p.m., deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle on Route 430 in Mayville for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. After a short pursuit, deputies were able to pull over the vehicle. It is alleged that Graziano was intoxicated and had a prior DWI conviction. He also allegedly had a revoked New York state license for a DWI conviction. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

Jonathan L. Mays, 30, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated family offense. At 1:10 a.m., police responded to a Park Street address for a domestic dispute. It is alleged that Mays punched a victim in the face while three children were present. The cheek reportedly swelled from the injury. Mays was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and will appear in court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
James R. Wall, of Falconer, was charged Wednesday with larceny after allegedly stealing $100 on Dec. 22 at a 2603 Allen St. address. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Maurita L. Shaver, 29, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for allegedly possessing Vicodin without a prescription. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SHERIDAN – Robert S. Gee, 52, Shawn M. Taylor, 33, and Maria E. Dominguez-Gill, 22, all of Dunkirk, were charged Monday with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny. It is alleged that all three individuals were involved in stealing several long guns on King Road in Sheridan. Following a brief investigation by the Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigation Division and Dunkirk Police Department, all weapons were recovered. Gee and Taylor were remanded to the county jail in lieu of $30,000 cash/$60,000 property bond. Dominguez-Gill is currently in the county jail on unrelated charges.

A 16-year-old male from Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree menacing. At 3:38 a.m., officers responded to the area of East Second and Hopkins streets for a report of a suspicious person going through the vehicles in the area. While en route, officers were advised that the person allegedly threatened an individual with a shovel. The 16-year-old male was taken into custody and taken to the city jail. He is pending arraignment.

HANOVER-Amariliz Pierlussi, 24, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to use turn signal. At 12:36 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Pierlussi – was in possession of marijuana. Pierlussi was also reportedly driving with a suspended license. Pierlussi will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
NAPOLI – Henry Martinez Jr., 35, of Salamanca was charged Saturday at 6:38 p.m. with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and speed in zone after he was pulled over on Route 243 in Napoli. It is alleged that officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and found a quantity of marijuana under the driver’s seat. Martinez will appear in Napoli Court on Feb. 17.

GERRY – Andrea R. Whitford, 35, of Falconer was charged Friday at 2:30 a.m. with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and endangering the welfare of a child after her vehicle was found over an embankment on Hanson Road in Gerry. It was determined that Whitford was the driver and her son was a passenger. It is alleged that Whitford was intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .10 percent. A computer check showed a previous DWI conviction and a suspended driver’s license. She was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Ashley A. Miller, 24, of Jamestown was charged Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana after being pulled over for swerving across the center line on Route 60 in Ellicott. It is alleged that police detected a strong odor of marijuana from the vehicle. It was later determined by a drug recognition expert that Miller was under the influence of marijuana. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Adam M. See, 37, of Randolph was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and littering after being pulled over on Route 394 in Ellicott for littering. It is alleged that See was intoxicated and had a BAC of .09 percent. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Domingo Ocasio, 52, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to signal on Saturday. At 5:49 p.m., officers were on patrol in the area of 211 Eighth St. when they noticed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal when turning. During an investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, Ocasio, was intoxicated. Ocasio was taken into custody, charged and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
Samantha J. Sargent, 34, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree coercion Saturday. At approximately 8:30 a.m., officers investigated a reported assault at 909 Newland Ave. where a female victim received facial injuries. The female victim reported that she was assaulted by Sargent and a male accomplice, and held in a residence against her will until she agreed to purchase alcohol for Sargent and the male. Sargent was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. More arrests are pending in this case.
Julio J. Rondon, 21, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and failure to provide sustenance Saturday. At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers were sent to 54 W. Ninth St. to assist Child Protective Services with an investigation. During the investigation, officers located several children living in deplorable conditions. Officers also located a puppy that was malnourished and emaciated. The puppy required treatment by a veterinarian. Officers contacted the Department of Development and the residence was condemned. Rondon was taken into custody on the above charges. More arrests are pending in this case.

Christina M. Lender, 34, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny Saturday after she took $379.16 in merchandise from Sears without paying for it. She was issued an appearance ticket, and will appear in Busti Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 29.
Tabitha J. Dellahoy, 26, of Ashville was taken into custody at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday on a warrant for petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. On Dec. 8, Dellahoy allegedly used an EBT benefits card belonging to another person to purchase $461 in merchandise from Wal-Mart. She is to appear in Busti Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 29.
BUSTI – Edward R. Olsen, 23, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child,l one count of third-degree assault and one count of criminal obstruction of breathing Saturday. At 12:13 a.m., Olsen was taken into custody on a warrant for the above charges. He was located at 164 Barrett Ave. in Jamestown. Olsen was involved in a domestic incident that occurred on Jan. 14, in which he allegedly punched and choked his girlfriend during a physical altercation at the couple’s residence. He was arraigned in Lakewood-Busti Court and his bail was set at $500 cash. The Lakewood-Busti Police Department was assisted by the Jamestown Police Department in locating Olsen.

VILLENOVA – Joshua P. Kilburn, 20, of Forestville, and Nicholas I. Sandy, 19, of South Dayton, were charged Saturday with underage possession of alcohol. At approximately 4 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 83 in the town of Villenova. Investigation found the operator, Kilburn, and his passenger, Sandy, to be in possession of alcohol when both subjects were under the age of 21. In addition to both being charged accordingly, Kilburn was also issued a speeding ticket. Both were released and are scheduled to appear in Villenova Town Court next month to answer the charges.
SILVER CREEK – Jason C. Oneill, 27, of Forestville was charged following a traffic stop that occurred Saturday. At 1:48 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle fail to stop at a red light in the village of Silver Creek. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Oneill. Following an investigation, Oneill was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and failure to stop at a red light. Oneill was released, and is due back in Silver Creek Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
SHERIDAN – Nicholas Mooney, 21, of Fredonia was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree criminal sexual act Sunday. At 10:11 a.m., the sheriff’s office concluded an investigation into an alleged sex offense that occurred in the town of Sheridan in September. As a result of the investigation, Mooney was taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was arraigned in Sheridan Town Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

ELLICOTT – Sarina A. Benedetto, 28, of Jamestown was charged Friday at 2:06 a.m. with failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated per se and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Tatiana M. Lopez, 20, and Keyla M. Marquez-Valentin, 24, both of Jamestown, were picked up on Jan. 11 on outstanding warrants for petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy. It is alleged that both individuals were involved in a larceny on Dec. 30, in which both removed more than $100 worth of clothing from the K-Mart in West Ellicott. They will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Debra R. Crouch, 53, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with petit larceny and fifth-degree welfare fraud. It is alleged that Crouch reported that she was robbed on Oct. 31 to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department. Crouch then applied for emergency rental assistance from the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services, claiming that her cash/rent money was stolen in the robbery. She was given $600 in emergency assistance. It was later determined by the LBPD that Crouch falsely reported the robbery. She will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
GREAT VALLEY – Carl R. Simons Jr., 35, of Killbuck was charged Tuesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance by ultimate users original container, moving from lane unsafely, operating a vehicle while using a mobile telephone and driving out of class. At 10:45 p.m., it is alleged that Simons was texting while driving, drove off the roadway, crossed a ditch and ended up in the front yard of 3634 N. Authority Road in Killbuck. Simons was allegedly in possession of two controlled substances. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail. He will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

PORTLAND – Alisha Klinger, 34, of Mayville was charged Tuesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. She was arraigned in Portland Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Shawn M. Carlson, 21, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with false personation after police questioned him about an alleged larceny at the Chautauqua Mall. During the interview, it is alleged that Carlson knowingly misrepresented himself to officers multiple times. He was not charged with the larceny, but an investigation is ongoing. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Erica L. Bouvier, 35, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, DWI, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane. At 12:30 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 5 and Route 20 in Hanover for multiple traffic infractions. It is alleged that the driver – Bouvier – was intoxicated. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jarrelle D. Sparks, 21, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child Sunday. At 5:01 a.m., officers were dispatched to 214 Buffalo St. Apt. 1 for a physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers learned a physical argument took place between a victim and Sparks. The victim stated Sparks pushed her while she was holding their 1-year-old child. Sparks fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival, but was located a short distance away and taken into custody before being transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
Merle F. Wright II 42, of Randolph was charged Tuesday with vehicle pursuit, driving while intoxicated and felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 6:11 p.m., officers attempted to pull over Wright’s vehicle after she allegedly committed several traffic violations. It is alleged that Wright refused to stop for officers and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. She later stopped in the middle of the road on Monroe Street near Hamilton Street. It is alleged thtat she was intoxicated. She was transported to the city jail without incident.

Daniel L. Swanson, 52, of Lakewood was charged Tuesday with following too closely and driving while ability impaired by drugs following a minor accident on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood. It is alleged that Swanson rear-ended a vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue and was under the influence of drugs at the time. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Grant H. Monroe, 38, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with felony DWI, DWI per se, aggravated DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana and operating on a conditional license following an incident at 10 Venice St. in Celoron. It is alleged that Monroe was intoxicated. He was committed to the county jail.

SALAMANCA – Kristin M. Kulczyk, 25, of Cattaraugus was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation Thursday after she attempted to enter the gaming floor at the Seneca Allegany Casino with an ID belonging to someone else. She was taken into custody and charged before being issued an appearance ticket. She was later released and is to return to Salamanca City Court at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
RANDOLPH – Melissa N. Mendez, 35, of Randolph was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment. At approximately 2:35 a.m., patrol responded to a report of a domestic incident at 129 Hall St. in Randolph. Upon further investigation of the incident, Mendez was charged for punching a victim in the face. She was processed and released on an appearance ticket, where she is due back in Randolph Town Court at a later date.

PORTLAND – Alisha Klinger, 34, of Mayville was charged Tuesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. She was arraigned in Portland Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail.

SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE
OLEAN-Stevaun Punter, 33, of Ithaca and Cordera Rumph, 27, of Bronx were charged Monday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. The charges were filed after the execution of a search warrant at South Union Street in Olean by members of the task force and Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. The two individuals were allegedly in possession of 5 grams of crack cocaine, marijuana and two grams of heroin. They were committed to the county jail in lieu of $50,000. The task force was assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and Olean Police Department.

LITTLE VALLEY – Matthew P. Krysick, 30, of Great Valley was arrested on Jan. 6 on a parole violation issued by the New York State Police. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.

Dutton, 26, of Hinsdale was charged Friday with second-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and possession of a hypodermic instrument after deputies responded to an alleged physical altercation in which Dutton displayed a weapon. He will appear in Hinsdale Court at a later date.

Ahlstrom, 20, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was pulled over for speeding on Route 60 in Gerry. Police detected a strong odor of marihuana coming from inside the vehicle and Ahlstrom was allegedly found in possession of cocaine and marihuana. He was committed to th Chautauqua County Jail with no bail, and will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

An 18-year-old male from Jamestown was charged Sunday with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 12:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to 213 Barrows St. for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined that an 18-year-old youth allegedly physically attacked his father causing injuries. The youth also reportedly damaged property inside the vehicle. The youth was transported to the city jail.

Thomas D. Cupp, 33, of Northeast, Pennsylvania was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated per se, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and multiple vehicle and traffic violations. At 2:25 a.m., officers observed a vehicle make an improper right turn at the intersection of North Work and West Main streets. The vehicle was also speeding and driving in the center turning lane. It is alleged that the driver-Cupp-was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

BROCTON-Joseph M. Ameno, 24, of Brocton was charged Sunday with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Hector L. Gonzalez Jr., 41, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. At 2:16 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a report that two individuals had just burglarized a garage on Smith Street in Brocton. A quantity of tools was reportedly stolen from the garage. Deputies found several hidden in some nearby bushes. A possible description of a suspect vehicle was obtained and relayed to other police agencies. Dunkirk police located Ameno and Gonzalez and were later taken into custody by Sheriff’s deputies. Ameno was committed to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 / $10,000 property bond. Gonzalez was committed without bail due to past convictions. Further charged are expected out of Dunkirk.
SILVER CREEK-Bradley M. Dimmer, 23, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 7:15 p.m., deputies were called to 3 Jackson St. in Silver Creek for the report of individuals using marijuana. It is alleged that Dimmer was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Silver Creek at a later date.
POMFRET-Andrew P. Hillman, 40, of Grant Island was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, possession of marijuana, open container in a motor vehicle, failure to keep right and crossing hazard line. At 5:44 p.m., deputies received a complaint of an alleged erratic driver on Route 60 in Pomfret. Deputies observed the vehicle committing multiple vehicle and traffic offenses. It is alleged that the driver-Hillman-was intoxicated and in possession of a large marijuana pipe and open containers of alcohol. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

BUSTI – Ricky A. Baucher, 48, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance outside original container after allegedly stealing a cellphone valued at $99.88 from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. While processing Baucher, police allegedly discovered a small amount of a controlled substance outside its original container. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT – Tabitha J. Dellahoy, 26, of Ashville was charged on Dec. 12 with fifth-degree welfare fraud and second-degree criminal use of a public benefit card. Samantha J. Colvin, 29, of Celoron was charged on Dec. 12 with sixth-degree conspiracy and second-degree criminal use of a public benefit card. On Dec. 12, police were notified by Colvin that her EBT card had been stolen and used on Dec. 8 without her authorization. Officers determined that the card was used at Wal-Mart on Dec. 8 and that Dellahoy used the card. Police also determined that Colvin allegedly gave her card to Dellahoy to use in exchange for cash for the food purchase. Both will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA-Judson M. Serumgard, 35, of Ferndale, Michigan, was charged Monday with crossing hazard markings, unlicensed operator, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. At 10:05 a.m., deputies and officers from the Chautauqua Institution police responded to Route 394 in Chautauqua for the report of an erratic driver. It is alleged that the driver-Serumgard-was intoxicated. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING-Shayne M. Roth, 22, of Salamanca was charged Thursday with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or higher, unlicensed operator, open container and failure to keep right following a traffic accident on I-86 in Coldspring. It is alleged that Roth was intoxicated. He will appear in Coldspring Court on Feb. 10.

Jeffrey D. Seal, 22, and Cody L. Confer, 23, both of Jamestown, were charged on Dec. 28 with petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy. At 2:05 a.m., officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at the 575 Convenient store in West Ellicott. It is alleged that both stole a 12-pack of beer from the store. They will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Jeffrey D. Seal, 22, of Jamestown was charged on Dec. 28 with third-degree attempted robbery, second-degree harassment, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 2:20 a.m., officers responded to an incident on Merlin Avenue, where it is alleged that Seal attempted to forcibly take items from another individual. It is also alleged that Seal started to strike the victim. Seal reportedly did not follow police directions upon their arrival, and began to fight with them. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

PORTLAND – Richard A. Conway Jr., 35, of Mayville was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed unreasonable and uninspected motor vehicle. At 8:45 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle accident in which Conway reportedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a ditch. It is alleged that his driving privileges were suspended. He will appear in Portland Court at a later date.
POMFRET-Jay B. Huff, 44, of Erie, Pennsylvania was charged Sunday with crossing hazard markings, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 2:31 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for crossing hazard markings on Route 20 in Pomfret. The driver-Huff-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK-Robert E. Shomper Jr., 42, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with speed in zone, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless operation and failure to comply. It is alleged that Shomper failed to comply when deputies tried to stop him for a traffic violation. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

Jamie M. Stanley, 20, of Jamestown received multiple charges stemming from an incident that occurred at 2839 Mitchell Road early Saturday morning. At 3:31 a.m., officers were dispatched to the above residence for a gunshot complaint. Upon arrival, officers observed a large party at the residence. Officers spoke to the home renter, Stanley, who was allegedly hosting the party. Stanley opened the front door, and the officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana and witnessed several individuals inside drinking alcohol. Stanley allegedly pushed an officer and attempted to slam the door in the officer’s face. Upon further investigation, it was determined that there were several individuals in the residence under the age of 21. Stanley was taken into custody and charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree harassment. He was issued an appearance ticket, and will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date. Katie M. Cromartie, 18, of Jamestown, an attendee of the party, was charged with unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage with the intent to consume while under the age of 21. Cromartie was taken into custody and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Jessica L. Vanord, 19, of Jamestown and Ryan M. Robson, 18, of Sherman were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Sunday. At 1:49 a.m., patrol stopped a vehicle on Route 474 in Ashville for having only one working headlight. Vanord was identified as the driver, and Robson was identified as the passenger. Vanord and Robson were found to be in possession of marijuana, were charged accordingly and issued appearance tickets. Vanord was additionally charged with having less than two working headlights. Both will answer the charges in North Harmony Town Court at a later date.
STOCKTON – John A. Gelencser, 54, of Cassadaga received numerous charges following a traffic stop that occurred in the town of Stockton on Friday. At 11:45 p.m., deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Cassadaga-Stockton Road for an observed traffic offense. The vehicle failed to comply, and attempted to flee from deputies at a high rate of speed. Deputies pursued the vehicle and observed it pull into a driveway on Cassadaga-Stockton Road, after which they were able to take the driver, Gelencser, into custody without further incident. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Gelencser’s driving privileges in New York state had been suspended. Deputies also determined that he was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs. Gelencser was charged with speed over 55 miles-per-hour, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, failure to comply and driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was arraigned in Charlotte Town Court, as Stockton Town Court was unavailable. He was then remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. The sheriff’s office was assisted by New York State Police.
ELLICOTT – Sean M. Jones, 38, of Jamestown received numerous charges Saturday. At 7:39 p.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle complaint on Route 60 in the town of Ellicott. Upon locating the suspect, deputies observed the operator to commit several vehicle and traffic law violations. Deputies activated the emergency lights and sirens, and attempted to stop the suspect vehicle. The operator failed to comply and continued to elude officers. The operator finally complied and pulled into a driveway on Horton Road. The operator was identified as Jones. After a brief investigation, Jones was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. A check of Jones’ driving privileges in New York state showed a revoked status for a previous alcohol-related offense. The check also showed a previous DWI conviction within the previous 10 years, making the incident a felony. Jones was charged with failure to maintain lane, driving across hazard markings, failure to keep right, failure to comply, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation, felony DWI and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. He was issued traffic tickets, and is to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

CHARLOTTE – Reginald A. Kohler II, 26, of Cassadaga and David Sugg, 23, of Cassadaga were both charged at 3 a.m. on Thursday for second-degree criminal trespass. Kohler and Sugg allegedly entered and remained in a home without permission. Both men were issued appearance tickets and will answer charges in Charlotte Town Court.
CHARLOTTE – Deputies responded to Mill Creek Road for an animal complaint at 3 p.m. Friday. Upon further investigation, it was found that there was inadequate housing for the dogs. The dogs were surrendered by the owner, Jackie Wisniewkski, 51, at the request of the sheriff’s office. The dogs were taken by the town dog control officer and the Chautauqua County Humane Society. An investigation is continuing.
SILVER CREEK – Robert E. Notaro, 58, of Silver Creek was charged at 12:27 a.m. Saturday with speed in zone and driving while intoxicated common law. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Central Avenue in the village of Silver Creek. The vehicle was stopped and upon further investigation, it was found that the operator was Notaro. Notaro was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Notaro was arrested and arraigned in village court. He was released and will appear back in court at a later date.
ELLERY -Deputies responded to a rollover accident on Bemus-Ellery Road on Saturday. Cody Jacobson, 28, of Mayville was traveling west on Bemus-Ellery Road when he lost control of his vehicle on black ice. Jacobson’s vehicle left the north side of the roadway, entered a small ditch and struck the end of a driveway pipe. Jacobson’s vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof. Jacobson was not injured in the accident. The road was closed until the vehicle was removed. Deputies were assisted by Ellery and Maple Springs fire departments.

A 16-year-old female was charged at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for falsely reporting an incident. Police reported to the area of West Sixth Street on a report of a women calling 911 stating that her baby wasn’t breathing. After a brief investigation, it was determined that the female complainant was fabricating the story and at no time was there a baby or child involved in the incident. The complainant was arrested and transported to city jail where she awaits arraignment.

LAKEWOOD – A 17-year-old female from Jamestown was charged at 3:20 p.m. Saturday with petit larceny. It is alleged that the female concealed $29.82 in clothing and excited the Lakewood Wal-Mart without paying for the items. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

PINE GROVE TOWNSHIP – At 7:44 p.m. Wednesday, an accident occurred involving a vehicle and utility pole. The operator of the vehicle, Jessica Markel, 24, was heading north on Route 62. Markel moved into the left turning lane and lost control while attempting a turn onto Timberview Lane, hitting a utility pole. Markel was uninjured and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

FORESTVILLE-Shaun Ellison, 33, of Forestville was charged on Dec. 23 with third-degree criminal mischief. At 9:37 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence on Lodi Street in Forestville for a report of criminal mischief. It is alleged that Ellison damaged two truck tires on a vehicle parked on Lodi Street. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

KIANTONE-William J. Michishima, 26, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with third-degree attempted robbery and petit larceny. At 10:30 p.m., Troopers from the State Police barracks in Jamestown responded to a 911 call of a robbery at the Something Beautiful Tattoo and Piercing Shop located on Foote Avenue in Kiantone. Upon arrival, the troopers were informed by an employee that a white male had entered the business and demanded money from the employee. The employee did not comply with the demand at which time the male subject took a coffee mug from a display shelf and left the business. Information was developed as to the identity of the subject, and he was located a short time later. The subject was interviewed at which time he admitted to entering the business and demanding money from the employee. Michishima was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
STOCKTON-Justin Horton, 30, of Stockton was charged Wednesday with unlawful fleeing from a police officer, reckless driving and numerous other traffic charges following a pursuit through Sinclairville. At 4:30 p.m., troopers saw Horton leaving the Sinclairville Superette in a pickup truck, not wearing a seatbelt. When troopers tried to stop the truck, Horton failed to comply. Troopers chased him through the streets of Sinclairville, before finally ending the pursuit for safety reasons. Almost an hour later, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies located a truck matching the description of the suspect’s at a home on Bowers Hill Road in Stockton.
Troopers responded and identified Horton as the driver of the pickup they had chased an hour earlier. He was taken into custody and processed at the State Police barracks in Jamestown. He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $3,000 cash bail.

FALCONER – Chelsea M. Gifford, 24, of Falconer was charged with third-degree assault Thursday morning. At approximately 2 a.m., officers responded to Lister Avenue in Falconer for a report of a domestic dispute involving two subjects. Upon investigation, it is alleged that Gifford struck the other subject in the face with an ash tray. She was charged and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

FRENCH CREEK – Michael E. Francis, 37, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was charged Thursday following a traffic stop in the town of French Creek. At 1:37 a.m., sheriff’s patrol observed a vehicle make a turn without signaling on Old Road. The vehicle was stopped and the operator, Francis, was found to be intoxicated. Francis was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and failure to signal a turn. He was later released, and will later answer the charges in French Creek Town Court.
KIANTONE – Roberto Pantojas, 56, of Falconer was charged with numerous traffic violations Thursday. At 2:28 a.m., deputies executed a traffic stop on Route 62 in the town of Kiantone for an alleged violation of New York state vehicle and traffic law. Further investigation found the driver, Pantojas, to be operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Pantojas was taken into custody and charged with failure to keep right, driving across hazard markings, driving while intoxicated and DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. He will answer the charges at a later date.

At 3:23 a.m., police observed a southbound vehicle on Route 380 in Stockton traveling on the wrong side of the road. It is alleged that the driver-Wright-was impaired by drugs and alcohol. He will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Sara L. Tolbert, 27, of Mayville was charged Tuesday with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine after the task force and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at her 2 Pratt St. apartment in Mayville. The search warrant had been issued based upon information from an ongoing investigation into the unlawful production of methamphetamine by Tolbert. It is alleged the Tolbert discarded items from her residence as members of the task force conducted their investigation. Officers located crucial components and chemicals used in meth production. Tolbert was committed to the county jail.

NORTH HARMONY-Peter L. Spray, 42, of Lindsay, California, was charged Sunday with five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding, no log book and no highway use tax sticker. Brandis M. Hay, 32, also of Lindsay, California, was charged five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana. The pair’s tractor trailer was pulled over for speeding on I-86 in North Harmony. Troopers assisted by K-9 Kubi found the pair in possession of multiple prescription narcotic pills, marijuana and hashish. They were arraigned in Sherman Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
GERRY-Ronald E. Chmielewski, 29, of Gowanda was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana after a stationary road check on Route 60 in Gerry. Troopers noticed a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle as it was stopped at the road check. Chmielewski will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
COLDSPRING-Griffin T. Keugh, 22, of Centennial, Colorado was charged Friday with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop for speeding on I-86 in Cold Spring. Troopers, assisted by K-9 Kubi, located marijuana and hashish in the vehicle. Keough was placed under arrest and taken to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing. He was arraigned in Cold Spring Court and committed to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
