JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Aaron Porter, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. At 10:35 p.m., officers observed Porter having an argument with a female victim. It is alleged that Porter began yelling obscenities and refused to talk with officers as they approached him. He then reportedly walked away and fled the scene. When an officer attempted to place him under arrest, he resisted, police said. After he was restrained, police found several hypodermic needles as well as controlled prescription medication. He was transported to the city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER-Zachary S. Pierce, 19, of Irving was charged Sunday with petit larceny. At 2:01 a.m., deputies responded to a reported male stealing items from a restaurant in Hanover. Pierce was allegedly found at the scene with a bottle of alcohol that he had taken at the restaurant. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

Bradley D. Orr, 44, of Bemus Point was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration and speeding. April C. Patton, 35, of Bemus Point was charged Wednesday with resisting arrest, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, second-degree harassment and fugitive from justice. At 9 p.m., police pulled over their vehicle on Bellview Road for speeding. Orr was taken into custody after an odor of alcohol was detected and field sobriety tests administered. A computer check of the passenger- Patton- found that she was wanted for escaping from a correction center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While being taken into custody, Patton became combative and the State Police were assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department. Orr will appear in Ellery Court at a later date. Patton was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Wayne Serra, 37, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief following an incident occurring Saturday. At approximately 3 a.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute at 46 Fluvanna Ave. Upon arrival, officers learned that Serra had become angry with a relative and began throwing items, including a victim’s plate and cellphone, causing them to break. Serra was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail where he is awaiting arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Nancy A. Earnst, 73, of Jamestown was taken into custody by police and charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday following investigation of an incident that had occurred a day before. On Friday, police were called to Red Lobster in Lakewood for a report of an elderly woman, Earnst, acting strangely. Upon arrival, it was determined that Earnst was intoxicated. She was taken into custody and transported to WCA Hospital for precautionary reasons. She was issued an appearance ticket, and was later released. She is due back in court at a later date.
Heather J. Lindsey and Raymond L. Lindsey Jr., both of Warren, Pennsylvania, were charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child on Saturday following a shoplifting incident at the Lakewood Wal-Mart at approximately 2:15 p.m. It is alleged that the two had placed $592.58 in merchandise into a shopping cart and exited the store without paying for the items. The course of these actions were done while in the presence of an 11-year-old boy. Both parties were issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Michael A. Deponceau, 51, of Salamanca received multiple charges stemming from an incident that occurred in the town of Poland at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Friday. While on patrol in the village of Kennedy, deputies observed a male subject stumbling in the roadway attempting to solicit a ride from passing motorists. Deputies made contact with the subject, later identified as Deponceau, who quickly became disorderly. When officers attempted to take Deponceau into custody, he physically resisted and, after a brief struggle, was subdued. While in custody, Deponceau attempted to break the rear window of a patrol vehicle. He was arraigned in Ellery Town Court due to Poland judges being unavailable. Deponceau was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, attempted criminal mischief and soliciting a ride, and was released after posting a bail of $750. He will appear in Poland Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Jessica M. Crowl, 21, of Jamestown received multiple charges following a traffic stop that occurred in the town of Kiantone on Friday. At approximately 9:24 p.m., patrol stopped a vehicle on Route 62 for having a headlamp out. The operator, identified as Crowl, was found to be operating the vehicle without a driver’s license and insurance. Deputies observed narcotics packaging materials in Crowl’s vehicle. Further investigation found Crowl to be in possession of 28 commercially manufactured narcotic pills in an unlabeled bottle for which she was not prescribed. Crowl was taken into custody and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlicensed operator, uninsured vehicle and insufficient headlamps. She was issued an appearance ticket for court and traffic tickets before being released to a relative. She will answer the charges in Kiantone Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Depree S. Gamble, 23, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree assault, aggravated family offense, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 11:30 p.m., officers responded to 118 Forest Ave. for a physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, they allegedly heard the victim and Gamble yelling at each other, as well as the victim yelling for help. As officers gained entry into the residence, Gamble allegedly started to walk away after he was instructed to stop. He also reportedly resisted officers when he was taken into custody. Investigation revealed that Gamble allegedly punched the victim several times in the head, causing injury, police said. He will appear in city court at a later date.

BUSTI – Jeffrey P. Hamilton, 36, of Lakewood was charged on Sept. 20 with driving while intoxicated and speeding. At 2:58 a.m., an officer pulled over a vehicle speeding on Hunt Road in Busti. The driver-Hamilton-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

OLEAN-David Phearsdorf, 30, of Bolivar was arrested Thursday on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus Count Court. He was sent to the county jail.

Kalub S. Corley, 20, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. At 9:09 p.m., police responded to West Ninth Street at Washington Street for a fight. Police arrested Corley for allegedly fighting in the street. Investigation revealed that Corley entered another person’s residence without permission and fought inside. He was transported to the city jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – Frank M. Tundo, 17, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with three counts of third-degree felony burglary, two counts of fourth-degree felony grand larceny, petit larceny and third-degree criminal trespass. Benjamin Catalino, 18, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with three counts of third-degree felony burglary, fourth-degree felony grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny. For approximately three months, deputies received multiple complaints involving burglaries and larcenies in the areas of Hanover Road and King Road in Hanover. Through an investigation, deputies were able to identify individuals – Tundo and Catalino – allegedly involved in at least 11 incidents involving vehicles and buildings being entered and burglarized. Stolen items recovered included a rifle and shotgun. Deputies located and arrested Tundo, while Catalino was already in custody at the county jail on a separate charge. Both were remanded in the county jail with bail on each set at $10,000 cash and $20,000 property bond.
RIPLEY – Charles E. Hudkins Jr., 46, of Ripley was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, false impersonation and no head lamps. At 7:45 p.m., deputies were on patrol and observed a vehicle traveling on West Main Street in Ripley with no headlights. Deputies pulled over the vehicle and allegedly found the driver – Hudkins – intoxicated. Hudkins also reportedly gave a false name and date of birth while being processed. He was committed to the county jail on $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 property bond.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
ASHFORD – Christian J. Bennett, 34, of Fayetteville, North Carolina was charged Wednesday with obstruction of governmental administration, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, speed in zone and failure to dim headlamps. At 12:59 a.m., police pulled over Bennett for speeding in a posted work zone and failing to dim headlamps. He admitted that his license was revoked in North Carolina and suspended in New York. As he was being placed into custody, Bennett allegedly became uncooperative and belligerent. He refused to answer any basic pedigree information to ascertain his identity. He was remanded to the county jail on $1,000 bail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER-Ashley L. Dudek, 26, of Dunkirk was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated common law and DWI per se. At 11:38 p.m., deputies were called to the area of Buffalo Road in Hanover for a reported unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Deputies discovered that Dudek was allegedly operating a vehicle that did not belong to her. Further investigation revealed that she was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
A 16-year-old youth was charged Sunday with trespass and attempted petit larceny. At 4:20 p.m., police were called to investigate a suspicious person on Jackson Avenue where a 16-year-old youth allegedly trespassed on the victim’s property and attempted to steal a bicycle before the victim chased him off the property. The 16-year-old will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Larry J. Tidd, 25, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Foote Avenue for failing to yield right of way to oncoming traffic when making a left turn. An odor of marihuana was detected and Tidd was found to be in possession of a marihuana grinder containing marihuana. He will appear in city court at a later date.

William E. Blakey, 26, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct. At 5:44 p.m., officers responded to an Allen Street address for a reported domestic incident. As officers were approaching the scene, they allegedly observed a woman run from the residence followed by a man. The man – Blakey – allegedly pushed the woman down onto the pavement in the middle of the traffic lane near Foote and Victoria avenues, causing several vehicles to stop and swerve around them. Blakey was sent to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.
James R. Leroy, 55, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with disobeying a traffic control device, failing to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change on driver’s license, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. At 3:19 a.m., police observed a vehicle make an illegal left turn off of Camp Street onto Foote Avenue. Investigation revealed that the driver – Leroy – was allegedly intoxicated. He was sent to the city jail where his BAC was .18 percent.

Zachary A. Gleason, 23, of Glens Falls was charged Monday with failure to dim lights and criminal possession of marijuana. Tyler K. Rhoades, 23, of Ashville was charged Monday with criminal possession of marijuana. At 11:21 p.m., an officer on Hunt Road in Busti observed a vehicle fail to dim high beams. Investigation revealed that the driver-Gleason-and his passenger-Rhoades-were allegedly in possession of marijuana. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

LITTLE VALLEY – Rory B. Mosher, 28, of Little Valley was charged Saturday with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or higher, failure to keep right and open container of alcohol after a traffic stop on Court Street in Little Valley. He will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.

Heather M. Blair, 32, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with speeding, unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop for speeding on North Main Street in Jamestown. Police allegedly detected an odor of marijuana while interviewing Blair. It is alleged she had a quantity of marihuana and a glass marijuana smoking pipe containing marijuana. She also reportedly had Vicodin pills along with a pill grinder and residue. Blair will appear in city court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Amanda D. Bianco, 34, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree felony criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree criminal contempt following a warrant check conducted at 19 Crossman St. on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. As officers were conducting the warrant check, Bianco attempted to leave the house out the back door and was taken into custody. Further investigation led to Bianco being in the same residence of a male victim, whom she had a valid order of protection to stay away from. Bianco was charged and transported to Jamestown City Jail without further incident.
A 16-year-old male was charged with obstructing governmental administration following an incident that occurred Friday. At 9:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Appleyard Terrace at 633 E. Second St. for suspicious persons smoking marijuana on the front stoop of the residence. Officers arrived on-scene and the 16-year-old male fled from the officers during investigation. Officers chased the subject behind the Appleyard Terrace, where he was taken into custody. The subject was transported to Jamestown City Jail where he received the aforementioned charge. The subject is being held pending an arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Robyn L. Bates, 26, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny following a shoplifting incident at Wal-Mart on Thursday. At 1:20 p.m., Wal-Mart loss prevention employees witnessed Bates place several items in her purse and leave the store without paying for them. The items had a total value of $92.89. She was issued an appearance ticket directing her to appear in Busti Town Court on Thursday.
Jeffrey P. Hamilton, 36, of Lakewood was charged with driving while intoxicated and speed in zone following a traffic stop executed by police Saturday. At 2:58 a.m., an officer on patrol on Hunt Road in Busti observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. After pulling the vehicle over, the officer identified the operator to be Hamilton. Upon further investigation, Hamilton was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged, and will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

Matthew N. Utegg, 49, of Jamestown has been charged following a traffic stop in the town of Ellery on Friday. At 5:48 p.m., deputies stopped Utegg on Dutch Hollow Road for speeding. Following an investigation, deputies found Utegg and his passenger to be consuming alcohol in the vehicle, and Utegg was found to be intoxicated. Utegg was charged with speed in zone, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. He will appear in Ellery Town Court at a later date.
Michael P. Schindler, 52, of Sheridan received multiple charges after triggering a multi-car, personal injury motor vehicle accident in Sheridan on Friday. At 9:01 p.m., deputies responded to the four-vehicle accident on Route 20. Upon investigation, it was learned that a vehicle driven by Schindler failed to stop for a red signal that other vehicles were already stopped for. Schindler’s vehicle rear-ended a vehicle driven by Daniel Hillman, of Fredonia, which caused Hillman’s vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by Robert French, of Dunkirk, which caused French’s vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by Gerald Loveless, of Stockton. A passenger in French’s vehicle was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital as a precaution. Two other juvenile passengers in French’s vehicle were uninjured. Hillman was the only occupant in his vehicle and was transported to Lake Shore Hospital for minor injuries. A passenger in the Loveless vehicle was uninjured. Schindler, who caused the accident, was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was charged with following too closely, speed unreasonable, inadequate equipment, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. He will appear in Sheridan Town Court at a later date.
John S. Kovach, 19, of Fredonia was charged following a traffic stop that was executed after the vehicle he was driving crossed the hazard markings on the roadway on Saturday. The stop occurred at 2:29 a.m. on Route 20 in Fredonia.. In the ensuing investigation, it was alleged that Kovach was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and later released with tickets for cross hazard markings, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. Kovach will appear in Fredonia Village Court at a later date.
John E. Blynt Jr., 24, of Westfield, was charged following a traffic stop that was executed after the vehicle he was driving crossed the hazard markings on the roadway Saturday. Liana M. Halliman, 24, of Forestville was charged Saturday following a traffic accident that occurred on York Road in the town of Hanover. At 3:35 a.m., deputies located a vehicle that left the roadway and had traveled through a front lawn before becoming partially submerged in a small, shallow pond. Halliman, identified as the driver, was assisted out of the vehicle by the homeowner at the scene. Further investigation found Halliman to be intoxicated, and she was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and failure to keep right. She was processed and released to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

Christian J. Encarnacion, 18, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with second-degree assault, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and second-degree harassment. At 6:30 p.m., officers responded to 303 Lafayette St. for a reported assault. It is alleged that Encarnacion struck a female in the face. The victim lost consciousness, and sustained a laceration and severe swelling to her face, police said. She was transported to WCA Hospital for her injuries. While being escorted to a patrol vehicle, Encarnacion reportedly kicked an officer in the knee. He is being held in city jail and awaiting arraignment.

Daniel Lussier, 32, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, suspended registration, aggravated unlicensed operator, operating without insurance and unlicensed operator. At 10:09 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle with a suspended registration on East Fairmount Avenue. The driver – Lussier – was allegedly found to have a suspended driver’s license, no insurance, suspended registration and to be driving while on drugs. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Anthony R. Ford, 41, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 12:18 p.m., officers pulled over a vehicle on 850 Lafayett St. and observed a person attempting to hide in the back of the vehicle. Investigation revealed that the man attempting to hide – Ford – was allegedly violating a valid order of protection by sitting with a female victim. He was transported to the city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
LITTLE VALLEY – Nicole M. Barber, 21, of Little Valley was arrested on Sept. 12 at 9 p.m. on a bench warrant issued out of Little Valley Court. She will appear in court at a later date.
OLEAN – Heather L. Blade, 39, of Olean was arrested Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Supreme Court. She is currently awaiting arraignment at the county jail.

Christin L. Tibbets, 23, of Fredonia was charged Sunday with petit larceny. At 3:40 p.m., it is alleged that Tibbets entered the Lakewood Wal-Mart and took an LG water filter without paying for it. Tibbets was detained by Loss Prevention, and while being questioned, exited the store. He was later found and charged. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Ben Catilino, 19, of Hanover was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment. At 2:20 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in Hanover for a physical altercation in process. It is alleged that Catilino engaged in a physical altercation with another person. He was charged and transported to the county jail in lieu of bail. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
GREAT VALLEY-Bryan P. Fite, 25, of Salamanca was charged on Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m. with allegedly driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, speeding and uninspected motor vehicle after being pulled over on Route 219 in Great Valley for allegedly speeding. He will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.
LITTLE VALLEY – Andrew J. Stokes Jr., 19, of Little Valley was arrested on Sept. 8 with a violation of probation. The warrant was issued out of Little Valley Court. He will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.
SALAMANCA – Donald L. Pettit, 52, of Friendship was charged on Sept. 10 at 5:05 p.m. with trespass. It is alleged that Pettit entered the Seneca Allegany Casino after he had been excluded from the casino in December 2009. He will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
FREDONIA – Stephen Meyers, 20, John Dewey, 18 and Justin Schreier, 19, all of Fredonia, were charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, second-degree menacing and petit larceny. It is alleged that the three men went into an apartment at 42 Eagle St. in Fredonia on Aug. 19. They wore bandanas and were armed with hammers. They threatened the occupants and forced them to lay on the floor while they stole some money and a backpack with unknown contents. After warrants were issued, all were arrested and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $60,000 cash/$30,000 property bond.

Rhonda K. Donahay, 43, of Sinclairville was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated and refusal of breath screening. At 5:02 p.m., officers on Washington Street observed a 1996 Chevrolet vehicle attempting to drive around road barricades on West Fifth Street. The vehicle entered the intersection prior to the light turning green. The driver – Donahay – was allegedly intoxicated and refused a breath screening. She will appear in city court at a later date.

Susan E. Lincoln, 46, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday at 4:50 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that Lincoln took $199.96 in merchandise from the Sears in Chautauqua Mall without paying. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Paul D. Martinez, 49, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and three city court warrants. At 6:30 p.m., officers responded to 400 Allen St. where a man – Martinez – was allegedly attempting to kick down a door of a residence. He also had three valid Jamestown warrants for his arrest. He was taken to city jail without incident.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Patricia Lee Wright, 24, and Tabitha Barbara Moorhead, 18, both of Jamestown, were charged Sunday at 6:05 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that both women were stopped by Wal-Mart loss prevention officials after attempting to leave the store with three unpaid pizzas, two 24-packs of soda and a cake. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Kathie R. Dolecki, 50, of Frewsburg was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no/inadequate headlamps. At 11:30 p.m., Dolecki was pulled over on East Fairmount Avenue for an inadequate headlamp. It is alleged that Dolecki was intoxicated and had a suspended license. She will appear in Busti Court on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Quentin Z. Newhouse, 23, of Ashville was charged Saturday with failing to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, unlicensed operator and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 1:25 a.m., police pulled over Newhouse on Baker Street Extension for alleged traffic infractions. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. Ellicott Police were assisted by the Lakewood-Busti Police.
Kelly K. Franchina, 33, of Jamestown was recently charged with petit larceny. It is alleged that Franchina took a large sum of money from another person on Aug. 30. After a lengthy investigation, she was charged and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Sydney B. Wainwright, 23, of Little Valley was charged Sunday with speeding, moving from lane unsafely, refusal to take a pre-breath test, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a BAC of .08 percent or higher. CHARLOTTE – Kira D. Seiberg, 20, of Sinclairville was charged Sunday with moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI per se with BAC of .08 percent or higher. At 2:57 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle off the road on Charlotte Road in Charlotte. Deputies found Seiberg a short distance from the vehicle. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

Matthew Coan, 37, of Jamestown received multiple charges following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 4:24 a.m., police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed across the Third Street bridge. Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop with a marked patrol vehicle, but the operator of the speeding vehicle refused to pull over. He eventually pulled into a driveway at his residence and was identified as Coan. Upon further investigation, Coan was found to be operating his motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was charged at the scene for driving while intoxicated, speed in zone and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Coan was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he agreed to submit to a chemical breath test. Coan’s blood alcohol content was found to be in excess of .18 percent, and he was additionally charged with aggravated DWI.
Shawn W. Savaree, 45, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault, resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration following an incident that occurred Sunday. At approximately 1:48 a.m., officers responded to a large fight calla t the Bullfrog Hotel at 1414 E. Second St. Several individuals had engaged in a fight, and multiple people had injuries. Alstar Ambulance Services assisted with the treatment of injured parties, and nobody was transported for their injuries. The investigation by officers on scene found that one individual, Savaree, had been involved in the fight and had assaulted a female. When officers told Savaree that he was being taken into custody, he refused to comply and resisted. He also refused to get into a patrol vehicle after he was subdued and charged so that officers could transport him to Jamestown City Jail. Savaree was finally secured by officers and transported to city jail without further incident. Savaree was charged with the above listed charges and held in the city jail on bail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Heather N. Rubly, 38, has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument as the result of a narcotics investigation Friday. Rubly was charged following a traffic stop in the town of Busti, where the Lakewood-Busti Police Department was assisted by the Jamestown Police Department K9 Unit. Rubly will be back in court at a later date.
Aaron F. Phillips, 34, of Jamestown has been charged with petit larceny following an incident in which he allegedly took $167.48 in merchandise from Sears in Lakewood. Phillips was issued an appearance ticket with a return date of Thursday.
Joshua A. Whitacre, 21, of Lakewood, Dean M. Walters, 23, of Randolph, and Brayley A.I. Rodunardt, 19, of Conewango, have been charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief following a shoplifting incident occurring at Wal-Mart on Sunday. At approximately 1:25 p.m., police responded to the scene for a report of shoplifting in which the three subjects had taken three pairs of shoes and left Wal-Mart property without paying. The shoes were valued at $71.43. The three subjects were arraigned in Busti Town Court and transported to Chautauqua County Jail, and will appear in Busti Town Court again at a later date.

Matthew J. Broussard, 29, of Erie was charged following a traffic stop that occurred Sunday. At approximately 12:18 a.m., deputies stopped Broussard for a violation of the New York state vehicle and traffic law. Further investigation found Broussard to be operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was issued traffic tickets and charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI for a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. Broussard will answer the charges at a later date.
Russell D. Manguso Jr., 31, of Angola received multiple charges following a traffic stop occurring Saturday. At approximately 4:28 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle commit vehicle and traffic infractions in the Village of Silver Creek. The vehicle was stopped by deputies and contact was made with Manguso, who was identified as the operator. Through an investigation on scene, it was determined that Manguso was operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs. Manguso was taken into custody and later released with uniform traffic tickets for: moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right, unsafe tire, operating motor vehicle while using a mobile phone and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
James J. Drzewiecki, 21, of Depew has been charged following a traffic stop that was executed by police Saturday. At approximately 3:20 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for having no tail lights or driver side mirror. The driver was identified as Drzewiecki, who was alleged to have been operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Further investigation found him to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Drzewiecki was charged with no tail lights, no driver side mirror, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. He will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

Jason Lee Slack, 40, of Warren was taken into custody at his residence by Pennsylvania State Police at Warren, Pennsylvania, on Friday at approximately 9:18 a.m. Police had received a felony warrant from the state of Florida for Slack with full extradition as a fugitive from justice. Slack was taken into custody and committed to Warren County Jail in lieu of $100,000. Slack is to be extradited to the state of Florida in the near future.

On Friday, Matthew Caldwell, 32, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and false personation at 11:08 a.m. Officers responded to the area of Crescent Street near Buffalo Street to locate Caldwell, who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Jamestown City Court. Officers located Caldwell, who allegedly gave them a false name. He was taken into custody and was found to be in possession of a large quantity of Suboxone strips, a controlled substance, and a hypodermic needle, police said.
He was transported to the city jail and is being held pending arraignment.

HANOVER- On Tuesday, Zachary Pierce, 19, of Irving was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding at 5:15 p.m. Deputies allegedly observed Pierce commit a traffic infraction on Hanover Road in Hanover. After performing a traffic stop, a driver’s license check revealed Pierce’s driving privileges in New York state had been suspended, police said. He will appear in Hanover Court on a later date.

LAKEWOOD- On Thursday, Christa Zogrephos, 31, of Lakewood was charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 10 a.m. A report was filed Thursday with the Lakewood-Busti Police Department regarding the larceny of pain medication.
The investigation showed that on Sept. 6, Zogrephos allegedly took approximately 76 Oxycodone pills and 33 Morphine pills from the victim. Zogrephos was taken into custody and directed to appear in court on Tuesday.
LAKEWOOD- On Friday, Joshua Adams, 32, of Ashville was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unnecessary noise at 12:52 a.m. A Lakewood-Busti Police officer was on patrol on East Fairmount Avenue and allegedly observed a vehicle making unnecessary noise from its radio. The officer stopped the vehicle, which was found to be operated by Adams. Further investigation found Adams to be in possession of marijuana, police said. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

OLEAN- On Sept. 5, Phillip Bernstein, 50, of Olean was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment at 2 p.m. Allegedly Bernstein threatened an employee of the Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services. He was issued an appearance ticket for Sept. 23 at Olean City Court.

SHERIDAN – Richard C. Wystup, 49, of Dunkirk was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and parking on pavement. At 8:08 p.m., deputies on patrol on Route 20 in Sheridan observed a vehicle off the roadway with its flashers on. Investigation revealed that the driver – Wystup – was allegedly intoxicated. POMFRET – Vanessa L. Figueredo, 27, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. At 8:40 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret because the driver was using a portable electronic device while driving. Inside, K9 units discovered 6 ounces of marijuana and a large sum of cash. The passenger – Figueredo – was charged for marijuana possession. The driver – whose name was not released – was charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device. Both will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Timothy S. Griffith, 28, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with no stopping on highway, failing to keep right, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 10:27 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Alleghany Road for the report of an unresponsive male inside a vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway. Investigation revealed that the driver – Griffith – was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

OLEAN – Cody W. Hollamby, 22, of Olean was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, felony criminal mischief, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault. At 11 p.m., deputies charged Hollamby after he became involved in a domestic incident where he allegedly threw a Gatorade bottle through the front window of his residence. The window broke and allegedly shattered onto a 5-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl and their mother. The boy sustained a cut to his hand. Hollamby left the residence and was found in Olean. He was found to be allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Olean Court at a later date.

FRENCH CREEK – Matthew F. Maloof, 37, of North East, Pennsylvania was charged Sunday with moving from lane unsafely, speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana after Troopers responded to a report of a one-car personal injury accident at the intersection of Route 426 and Mina Road in French Creek. Maloof was transported by helicopter to Hamot Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident occurred when Maloof fell asleep at the wheel, veered off the road, hit a ditch and rolled over three times. He will appear in French Creek Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Bruce E. Jedrysik, 33, of Cherry Creek was charged Sunday with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated with prior convictions within 10 years after a traffic stop for erratic driving on Route 60 shortly after midnight in Ellicott. Troopers noticed a strong odor of alcohol and placed Jedrysik under arrest after field sobriety tests. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .16 percent was obtained. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail with no bail.
FALCONER – Bradley E. Berg, 52, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, failure to use designated lane and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on South Work Street in Falconer. While interviewing the driver, Troopers detected an odor of alcohol and administered field sobriety tests. Berg was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .17 percent was obtained. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Keva K. Garcia, 40, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief and driving while intoxicated. Vincent M. Jimerson, 23, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct. At 2:19 a.m., officers responded to a fight call in the area of West Eighth Street and Lafayette Street. Officers found Jimerson acting disorderly and causing a disturbance. He was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date. Further investigation found that a domestic dispute occurred between Garcia and a male victim. Garcia allegedly used her vehicle to ram the victim’s car several times, pushing it down an embankment and into a neighbor’s backyard. Garcia then reportedly attempted to drive her vehicle out of the backyard, but struck and damaged a neighbor’s fence. She was remanded to the county jail.
Kevin R. Harvey, 32, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with aggravated driving while intoxicated, speeding and passing a stop sign. At 10:24 p.m., officers observed a vehicle speeding on Lakeview Avenue. The vehicle allegedly did not stop at a stop sign and proceeded west on East Sixth Street. Investigation revealed that the driver-Harvey-was reported intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content three times the legal limit. He was sent to the city jail and will appear in city court at a later date.
Kenneth Walker, 29, of Falconer was charged Monday with third-degree assault. At 1:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to a fight at Sneakers Bar, located at 100 Harrison St. Investigation revealed that Walker allegedly assaulted another patron at the bar for an unknown reason. The victim was transported to the WCA Hospital emergency room by Alstar Ambulance for facial injuries. Walker was sent to the city jail.
Shatara R. Mcgee, 26, of Jamestown was charged Friday with petit larceny. At 6:53 p.m., police responded to Save-a-Lot, located at 194 Fluvanna Ave., for a possible shoplifter. Police found Mcgee outside the store. She allegedly had six stolen hams from the store. She was sent to the city jail in lieu of bail.

Joshua L. Febus, 19, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies and a K-9 unit pulled over a driver who was allegedly speeding on North Work Street in Falconer. Investigation revealed that the driver-Febus-allegedly had a quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Ellicott Court at later date. Further charges are pending by the Sheriff’s Office.
Domingo Ocasio, 51, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with speeding, possession of an open container of alcohol, driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At 10 p.m., police pulled over a speeding vehicle traveling southbound on Route 60. Investigation revealed that the driver-Ocasio-was reportedly intoxicated. There were also open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. He will appear in court at later date.

At 2:05 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Elm Flat Road in Chautauqua for failing to use a turn signal at two different intersections and failing to keep right on two different toads. NORTH HARMONY-Paul B. Miller, 25, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, reckless driving and multiple traffic infractions. At 5:05 p.m., emergency officials responded to a personal injury accident on Spooner Road in North Harmony. Investigation revealed that Miller was reportedly speeding on Spooner Road when he lost control and traveled down an embankment, striking several trees. He then allegedly fled the scene, but was apprehended a short distance away. Miller had a 15-year-old passenger in the vehicle. He also had an outstanding New York state parole warrant. He was remanded in the county jail.

CHARLOTTE-Naequan McCray, 22, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana after Fredonia State Police pulled over his vehicle on Route 60 in Charlotte for tinted windows. Upon approaching the vehicle, police detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana inside the vehicle. McCray was issued tickets for tinted side windows and tinted rear side windows. SILVER CREEK-James W. Haskins, 34, of Silver Creek, was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. At 11:55 p.m., deputies responded to Hickory Street in Silver Creek for a reported domestic dispute in progress. Investigation revealed that Haskins allegedly shoved and slapped his girlfriend during an argument. Haskins will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
Julia A. Penhollow, 67, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree grand larceny, misuse of stamps and fraudulent receipt of benefits. It is alleged that Penhollow failed to report that a family member-who was active in her business case-was residing out of state. Penhollow was in receipt of $1,531 in unentitled benefits for the period of July 1 through Sept. 30, 2012, police said. She will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.

Jessica D. Emke, 23, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with two counts of second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At 8:46 p.m., officers responded to 127 Buffalo St. for a report of a woman smashing items in the street. Upon arrival, officers allegedly found Emke standing in a driveway naked. She had a warrant issued out of Jamestown. When officers attempted to arrest her, she allegedly fled into the residence. She was found in a closet and refused to show her hands or crawl out. She was eventually taken into custody and sent to city jail.

HANOVER – Lamar A. Thompson, 32, of Cheektowaga was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated and failing to submit roadside alert test. At 9:57 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible intoxicated driver who drove into a ditch on Alleghany Road in Hanover. Deputies arrived and determined that the driver – Thompson – was intoxicated. He was remanded to the county jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 property bond.

A 17-year-old Jamestown man was charged Thursday at 2 a.m. with unauthorized use of a vehicle, failure to use headlights, operating a motor vehicle with improper plates and other traffic violations after State Troopers pulled over a car on East Second Street in Jamestown for operating without headlights. The 17-year-old could not tell troopers who owned the vehicle. Further investigation found that the vehicle had been stolen from a local car dealer’s lot. There was only one plate on the car, which was also stolen. The 17-year-old will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Scott A. Martin of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and three arrest warrants. At 10:32 a.m., officers conducted a warrant check at 3 Stearns Ave. for Martin. He was allegedly found inside the attic of the house and taken into custody for three outstanding arrest warrants. He was additionally charged for having a switchblade knife during his arrest. Martin was sent to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Colleen N. McCormick, 18, of Fredonia was charged Tuesday at 4:20 p.m. with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Jessica L. Small, 18, of Forestville was charged Tuesday at 4:20 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that both worked together to steal $7.26 in merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. During the process, it is alleged that McCormick damaged property. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
CHARLOTTE – Henry Porter Jr., 42, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane and unlicensed operator. At 4:02 a.m., a sheriff’s patrol pulled over a southbound driver on Route 60 in Charlotte for allegedly failing to keep right and maintain lane. The driver – Porter – was found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.
POMFRET – Michael W. Foster, 50, of Cassadaga was charged Wednesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without interlock device, unlicensed operation, inadequate headlights, expired inspection and failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change. At 12:46 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 for a violation. Investigation revealed that the driver – Foster – had revoked driving privileges for prior alcohol-related offenses. He also did not have an interlock device installed. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
CARROLL – Cody C. Waddington, 24, of Falconer was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana when he was pulled over at a road check being conducted on the Falconer-Frewsburg Road in Carroll. State Police noticed a strong odor of marihuana coming from the vehicle, and after administering field sobriety tests and an evaluation by a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department drug recognition expert, Waddington was placed under arrest and transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown for processing. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
CARROLL – Coty W. Schauers, 18, of Frewsburg was charged Tuesday with second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree unlawful fleeing from a police officer in a motor vehicle and numerous vehicle and traffic infractions including speeding and unlawfully operating an ATV on a highway. He was observed after he drove his ATV on Frew Run Road at a high rate of speed, narrowly missing two people who were walking there. State troopers caught up with the ATV, but lost it when it turned off the road onto a trail. After interviews and further investigation, troopers arrested Schauers the following day. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jeffrey M. Gray, 39, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 11 p.m., officers responded to a domestic incident at 233 Stowe St. It is alleged that Gray violated a valid order of protection by being at this residence. He was allegedly found hiding in the attic and later transported to the city jail. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
James A. Jungquist, 58, of Palm Bay, Florida, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, failure to comply with police, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration and second-degree harassment. At 12:07 a.m., a patrol on East Terrace Avenue in Lakewood observed a vehicle cross the center lines and white hazard markings on the road several times. The vehicle refused to stop after the patrol started to pursue. The driver – Jungquist – eventually stopped at his residence and allegedly started to walk away from the officer. He allegedly swung his arms at the officer. Further investigation revealed that Jungquist was intoxicated. He struggled as officers attempted to arrest him. He was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Jennifer I. Oherron, 31, of Horseheads was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated and no/improper turn. At 1:30 a.m., a patrol on Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood observed a vehicle make a left hand turn onto Chautauqua Avenue from West Fairmount Avenue without using a turn signal. Investigation revealed that the driver – Oherron – was intoxicated. She will appear in Busti Court on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Tina M. Bemis, 44, of Falconer was charged Monday with second-degree harassment after police responded to a domestic incident at 400 W. Main St. in Falconer. Investigation revealed that Bemis allegedly slapped an individual in the face during an argument. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Eric G. Alecia, 27, of Falconer was charged Tuesday with second-degree obstruction of government administration after police responded to a domestic incident that began in a vehicle and ended at 12 Davis St. in Falconer. Investigation revealed that Alecia allegedly interfered with the investigation by not allowing officers to speak with the victim, being uncooperative and belligerent. He was taken into custody after several warnings and remanded to the county jail. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Adam J. York, 29, of Ashville was charged Friday with unsafe lane change, broken windshield, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 9 p.m., officers assigned to a STOP-DWI detail observed a vehicle traveling west on Fairmount Avenue in the area of Sam’s Club and making abrupt lane changes without a turn signal. The vehicle was pulled over and the driver – York – was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Ashley R. Perdue, 23, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At 2:20 a.m., police on patrol on Gerry Levant Road in Ellicott observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane. Investigation revealed that the driver – Perdue – was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Caleb Link, 18, of Falconer; Joshua J. Erhard, 18, of Falconer; Justin M. Spencer, 19, of Kennedy; and Devin T. Didomenico-Kent, 18, of Falconer were all charged with fourth-degree grand larceny after allegedly breaking into vehicles on the night of June 18 and damaging various stolen items. According to one of the vehicle’s owners, a rifle had been stolen from inside of a vehicle. Police located it shortly afterward with Didomenico-Kent. After a lengthy investigation, police located most of the stolen property in Carroll. The investigation is continuing.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
EAST RANDOLPH – James E. Campbell, 68, of Cherry Creek was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary and petit larceny. At 3 p.m., a sheriff’s patrol with the assistance of the New York State Police apprehended Campbell at his residence in Cherry Creek. The charges against him originate from a domestic violence incident that occurred in East Randolph on Thursday. It is alleged that Campbell forcibly entered the victim’s garage, breaking the garage door. He then entered the residence and allegedly forced the victim to the floor. He then allegedly stole a kayak. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $2,500 bail and will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
NORTH HARMONY – Kyle W. Moffett, 26, of Jamestown was charged Monday with speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Route 33 in North Harmony. When interviewing Moffett, state police detected a strong odor of marijuana, and with the assistance of K9 Kubi, determined that Moffett was allegedly in possession of approximately 21 grams of marijuana. Moffett’s girlfriend – Alissa G. Glass, 21, of Jamestown – approached in her vehicle during the traffic stop. Glass was also found to be in possession of marijuana. They will both appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.
KIANTONE – Jean C. Jimenez, 24, of Olean was charged Monday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana after he allegedly drove through a traffic road check being conducted by New York State Police on Route 60 in Kiantone. Jimenez was found to have a revoked license and further investigation found him to allegedly be in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Sean D. Harris, 31, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with tampering with physical evidence, criminal possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance not in original container after a traffic stop on Route 60 in Ellicott for not using a turning signal. An odor of marijuana was detected, and with the assistance of K9 Kubi, Harris was allegedly found to have a quantity of Vicodin. He was taken into custody, and while being transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown, allegedly attempted to destroy physical evidence hidden on his person. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT – James P. Kosmowski, 31, of West Seneca was charged following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 6:05 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for failure to signal and no seatbelt. Following an interview, Kosmowski was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Kosmowski was arrested and later charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no seatbelt. He will appear in Ellery Town Court.
ELLICOTT – Frederick W. Heller VI, 21, of Jamestown was charged following a traffic stop on Route 60 Saturday. At approximately 7:20 p.m., deputies stopped Heller for speeding. Through a short investigation, Heller was found to be allegedly operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was taken into custody for processing and charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. Heller was later released with appearance tickets, and is due to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

Alberto Santiago, 40, of Jamestown, received multiple charges following an incident occurring Saturday. At approximately 7:27 a.m., officers were called to 607 Pine St. for a domestic incident. Officers spoke to the victim, who stated she was assaulted by her boyfriend – Santiago. After speaking with the victim, Santiago was located by officers on Prendergast Avenue and was taken into custody without incident. After filing a domestic incident report, Santiago was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree strangulation, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and aggravated family offense. He is awaiting arraignment.
Shanta Reid, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree mischief following an incident that occurred Saturday. At approximately 2:59 a.m., officers responded to 81 Hazzard St. on a report of a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers observed several personal items belonging to a male victim on the front lawn and sidewalk. One of the items, a tablet computer, was broken as a result. It was determined that the victim’s girlfriend, Reid, had thrown the items out of their apartment as a result of an argument. Reid was subsequently taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she is awaiting arraignment.
Hector L. Galarza-Santos, 32, of Jamestown, received multiple charges as a result of an incident that occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 1:40 a.m., officers responded to Rite-Aid on Main Street for a report of a shoplifter that had just left the store. Police did locate a male matching the description at the intersection of South Main and Harrison streets, and confronted the suspect – who fled on a bicycle. The suspect was told to stop, but refused and led police on a pursuit. Police did capture the suspect, identified as Galarza-Santos, who fought with police attempting to place him into custody. Galarza-Santos was charged with petit larceny, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail in lieu of bail.
Rebecca Peck, 42, of Jamestown, has been charged following a motor vehicle accident that occurred Saturday. At approximately 1:59 a.m., police responded to Forest Avenue and McKinley Avenue for a car into a tree. Upon arrival, police found a vehicle into a utility pole in front of 64 McKinley Ave. The operator, Peck, was outside the vehicle and highly intoxicated. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to maintain lane. Peck was transported to Jamestown City Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
Henry J. Garcia-Oquenda, 30, of Jamestown, received multiple charges following a traffic stop on Sunday. At approximately 1:06 a.m., officers pulled over a black sedan operating with a loud exhaust near the area of Lakeview Avenue and Bassett Street. Further investigation revealed that the driver, Garcia-Oquenda, was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail where he submitted to a chemical test which determined his blood alcohol content to be twice the legal limit. Garcia-Oquenda was charged with no/improper exhaust, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated and DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher.

Andrew N. Tracy, 36, of Lakewood, has been charged following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 12:52 a.m., police stopped Tracy for an inadequate headlight. Upon further investigation, it was found that Tracy was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. He was issued traffic tickets for driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated for a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and an inadequate headlight. Tracy will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.
Donald J. Fink, 50, of Clarendon, Pennsylvania, has been charged with speeding and aggravated driving while intoxicated. At approximately 10:25 p.m. Saturday, police stopped a vehicle traveling north on Big Tree Road at a high rate of speed. The driver, Fink, was stopped and found to be intoxicated. Fink consented to a blood alcohol test which revealed his blood alcohol content to be more than .18 percent – making upgrading this incident to a felony DWI.

HANOVER – Paul L. Tedford, 34, of Dunkirk, has received multiple charges following an incident that occurred Wednesday. At approximately 8:15 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of Alleghany Road and South Shore Drive in the town of Hanover for the report of a vehicle operating in a reckless manner. Deputies located the vehicle and made contact with Tedford, who was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Through an investigation, it was determined that Tedford was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. As he was being taken into custody, Tedford became disorderly and kicked a deputy. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, unregistered vehicle, unlicensed operator and second-degree harassment.
HANOVER – Bart W. Alexander, 50, of Buffalo, was charged following a traffic stop occurring Saturday. At approximately 1:36 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle fail to signal its turn from Alleghany Road onto Iola Drive in the town of Hanover. Upon stopping the vehicle, the operator identified himself as Alexander. It was discovered that Alexander’s New York state driving privileges were revoked, with 31 active suspensions. Alexander was issued citations charging him with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator and fail to signal turn. He was directed to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Dominic J. Baez, 36, of Silver Creek, was charged following a traffic stop in the town of Hanover Thursday. At approximately 12:47 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle with an inadequate left sideview mirror operating on Route 5/20. Upon stopping the vehicle, the operator identified himself as Baez. It was discovered that Baez had an active warrant from Fredonia Police Department for unpaid fines. Baez was issued citations charging him with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate left sideview mirror. He was turned over to Fredonia Police on the active warrant.
BROCTON – Richard A. Bishop, 59, of Westfield, was charged following a traffic stop occurring in the village of Brocton Saturday. At approximately 1:30 a.m., deputies stopped a motorcycle on Route 20. The driver was identified as Bishop, and upon investigation he was alleged to be intoxicated. Bishop was taken into custody for processing. A record check showed Bishop had a previous conviction for driving while intoxicated within the past 10 years, making this incident a felony. Bishop was charged with speed in zone, felony DWI, aggravated DWI per se and a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. He will appear in Brocton Village Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA – Alexandra V. Rymko, 20, of Ripley, was charged following a traffic stop in the town of Chautauqua Saturday. At approximately, 3:49 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 394. The driver was identified as Rymko, and upon investigation he was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. Rymko was issued tickets for speed over 55 miles-per-hour and unlawful possession of marijuana. She will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
ELLERY – Dennis R. Syper, 27, of Mayville, and Cesar Luis Soto, 37, of Jamestown, have been charged following a traffic stop Friday. At approximately 10:28 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for failure to keep right. During an interview, deputies observed envelops containing heroin. K9 unit Mitchell did a vehicle search and made a positive alert. The operator, Syper, was found to be intoxicated by drugs. Syper and his passenger, Soto, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Heroin and a large quantity of money were seized. Syper was additionally charged with driving while intoxicated drugs and failure to keep right. Both subjects will appear in Ellery Town Court.
ELLERY – Brianna Powers, 22, of Jamestown, received multiple charges following an incident that occurred Saturday. At approximately 11:10 p.m., deputies stopped Powers on Route 430 in the town of Ellery for operating without tail lights. Powers was found to have a suspended New York state registration, no insurance and to have multiple New York state suspensions. She was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating with a suspended registration, operating without insurance and no tail lights. Powers will appear in Ellery Town Court at a later date.
