JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Allison M. Turner, 35, of Jamestown was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, criminal personation and fugitive from justice. At 2:44 a.m., officers executed a search warrant on Turner, who had a felony warrant issued through the Jamestown City Court. During an interview, she allegedly provided officers with a false name and date of birth. She was transported to the city jail and later found to have numerous felony warrants issued from Warren, Pa. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sami Jo Greenman, 26, of Jamestown was charged Friday at 4:25 p.m. with petit larceny at the Chautauqua Mall Sears. It is alleged that Greenman left Sears with $116.99 in merchandise without paying for it. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK – Jeremy B. Watson, 40, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to use signal lamps. At 9:31 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for allegedly failing to use its turn signals. Investigation determined that the driver – Watson – was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Ryan T. Taggart, 34, of Silver Creek was charged Friday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and uninspected motor vehicle. At 12:25 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle after allegedly observing an expired inspection sticker. It is alleged that the driver – Taggart – had revoked driving privileges in New York. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Samuel J. Welch, 46, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. At 8 p.m., officers responded to 52 Thayer St. for a domestic incident. Investigation revealed that Welch and a female victim got into an argument, which led to Welch allegedly placing his hands around her neck and throwing her to the ground. Welch was sent to the city jail without incident and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Brooke A. Pierce, 22, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. At 3:08 a.m., an officer on Chautauqua Avenue observed a vehicle failing to keep right and crossing into the opposing lane of traffic. Investigation revealed that the driver – Pierce – was intoxicated. She was sent to the city jail and held on bail. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

William G. Bailey, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Thomas C. Bailey, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with third-degree assault. At 11:42 a.m., officers responded to a fight at 847 Spring St. Officers observed the above individuals in front of the residence where a large window had been broken. Investigation revealed that both of them were allegedly involved in a fight. They were both transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. At 7 p.m., police responded to Hunt Road for a larceny report. Investigation found that a 15-year-old juvenile allegedly stole money from a wallet at the residence without permission. He will appear in Family Court at a later date.

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 9:30 p.m., police responded to Hunt Road for a disorderly 15-year-old juvenile throwing objects inside the residence and causing damage to kitchen appliances. He will appear in Family Court at a later date.

Meghan A. Carlson, 27, of Falconer and Layla D. Knight, 31, of Kennedy were charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child. At 3:54 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on North Phetteplace Street and West Main Street. Carlson and Knight were found to have several children in the vehicle without car seats. They will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Joshua D. Doud, 32, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal contempt and two counts of criminally possessing a hypodermic needle. Police observed Doud walking on Route 60 with a female who had a valid order of protection against him. Police allegedly found two hypodermic needles in his possession. He was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Samantha T. Williams, 26, of Irvine, Pa., was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:12 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle with an equipment violation on Big Tree Road in Busti. Investigation revealed that the driver – Williams – allegedly had a baggie of marijuana. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

A 16-year-old male from Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree menacing. At 5:59 p.m., officers responded to the Chautauqua Mall for a report of man threatening mall security with a knife. The man was later detained in the parking lot. It is alleged that a 16-year-old male displayed a knife at a mall security officer and threatened to stab him. He was sent to the county jail and is due back in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK – Justin D. Twarog, 19, of Amherst was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated aggravated DWI per se with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, unsafe tire and improper right turn. At 12:57 a.m., a patrol observed a vehicle making a right turn from Central Avenue onto Millard Fillmore Avenue in Dunkirk. The vehicle apparent had a blown front tire when making the improper right turn. The driver – Twarog – was found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Tammie L. Yonkers, 41, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday at 11 p.m. with felony driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop for erratic driving on Willard Street. Yonkers was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol of .09 was obtained. She was issued tickets for felony DWI after a computer check showed a previous conviction for DWI. Yonkers will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tory C. Arrance, 25, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operator, reckless driving, failure to comply, failure to keep right, following too closely, speeding and third-degree unlawful fleeing police in a motor vehicle. At 2:39 a.m., officers observed a Chevrolet Impala following a vehicle too closely on Winsor Street near Chandler Street. When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver – Arrance – allegedly fled, causing a pursuit. Arrance eventually pulled over and surrendered to police. He was taken into custody and sent to the city jail. Investigation revealed that Arrance was intoxicated with a blood alcohol content almost twice the legal limit. He also had a prior DWI in 2010, making the new DWI a felony.

Timothy L. Combs, 44, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with fugitive from justice. At 10:15 a.m., officers responded to 1709 Washington St. for an alarm at a business. While waiting for a key holder, Combs walked up to the scene and began to speak with officers. An investigation revealed that Combs was wanted out of Ohio. He was transported to the city jail without incident.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jesse A. Wolf, 25, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. Wolf, an employee at the Lakewood Wal-Mart, would allegedly remove cash from the register for the last two months. He was also taking food and beverage products from Wal-Mart for his own personal use. He was later fired from Wal-Mart.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Clifton G. Vaughn, 59, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree menacing. At 7:39 p.m., officers responded to a Fairmount Avenue address for a reported man threatening a woman with a knife. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the woman who stated that Vaughn threatened her with a kitchen steak knife. Vaughn was located at the scene and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the city jail and posted bail. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jason M. Lundmark, 28, of Frewsburg was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and driving with inadequate headlights. At 10:31 p.m., Lundmark was allegedly observed traveling eastbound on Hunt Road with inadequate headlights. He was pulled over on Sunset Drive and found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – Dustin T. Birkelund, 22, of Olean was charged Friday at 11:06 p.m. with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after police observed him driving recklessly on Gargoyle Road with a 1-year-old and 2-month-old in the vehicle. He will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA – Samuel McKenney, 33, of Olean was charged Friday at 7:42 p.m. with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic stop on Route 353 in Salamanca. McKenney was remanded in the county jail in lieu of $250. He will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

STEAMBURG – Norma J. Harrison, 34, of Steamburg was charged Sunday at 10:52 p.m. with driving too slow, driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher after police observed her vehicle traveling slow and weaving in the lane on Interstate 86. Police determined that Harrison was intoxicated, with a BAC two times the legal limit. She will appear in Red House Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RANDOLPH – Lindsey E. Brown, 23, of Randolph was charged on Aug. 18 with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree possession of a forged instrument after an investigation into a report of a forged prescription. Brown had allegedly presented the prescription at a pharmacy, but was told it could not be filled because there was no amount indicated. Brown returned a short time later after the doctor had “fixed” the prescription by adding a high dosage amount. Further investigation found that the prescription had been stolen from a local doctor. She will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jack A. Loucks, 64, of Falconer was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely and failure to keep right. At 6:07 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle complaint. After pulling over the vehicle, they determined that the driver – Loucks – was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Elmer J. Tardi, 19, of Fredonia was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana and loud exhaust. Officers pulled over Tardi’s vehicle on Route 60 in Ellicott for a loud exhaust. Investigation revealed that Tardi allegedly had a small quantity of marijuana. Tardi will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

POMFRET – Kevin L. Bellardo, 18, of Lakewood was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At 7:22 p.m., deputies responded to Denny’s for a report of a disorderly person. After an investigation, it is alleged that Bellardo was asked to leave the restaurant for using obscene language. Bellardo reportedly refused and continued to cause a disturbance. Bellardo then exited the restaurant, and while in the parking lot, allegedly spit on the seat of a patron’s motorcycle. While deputies were on scene, Bellardo reportedly continued to cause a disturbance and use obscene language in front of patrons. Bellardo allegedly tried to pull away from deputies as he was being arrested. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

KENNEDY- Thomas J. Schosek, 28, of Jamestown was charged Friday at 9:30 p.m. with driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcoholic beverages in a vehicle, improper turning signal and numerous traffic infractions after a traffic stop on Route 62 in Kennedy. Troopers detected an odor of alcohol, and after field sobriety tests, placed Schosek under arrest for DWI. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .15 was obtained. Schosek will appear in Poland Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Orion E. Purslow, 43, of Panama was charged on Aug.19 with three counts of public lewdness after investigating a complaint of a subject parked on Interstate 86 in North Harmony who was exposing himself to passing motorists. State Police have had three previous reports involving Purslow and his vehicle over the past four months. Purslow was located at his residence by State Police who followed up on the vehicle and plate description. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jerry D. Fomby, 34, was charged with violation of an order of protection following an incident occurring Sunday. At approximately 8:14 a.m., officers received an anonymous tip that Fomby was inside a residence and was violating a valid order of protection. Officers made contact with the female victim, and located Fomby inside the residence. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without further incident.

Jared Kum, 24, of Celoron was charged with second-degree menacing following a Saturday evening incident. At approximately 8 p.m., officers responded to the area of Cherry and West Sixth streets for a reported person with a weapon call. Upon investigation, it was determined that Kum was driving by a male and female victim and pointed a handgun at them. Officers were able to locate Kum at a Celoron address. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment. The Jamestown Police Department was also assisted by Ellicott Police Department and Lakewood-Busti Police Department.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Keith A. Sandy, 46, received several charges following a traffic stop in Lakewood on Friday evening. At approximately 8:57 p.m., Sandy was stopped on Hunt Road for speeding. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that he had a small amount of marijuana in his possession, as well as a small amount of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was issued an appearance ticket. He was released and will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

BUSTI – Ernest C. Cauley Jr., 23, received multiple charges following an incident occurring Saturday evening. At approximately 10:40 p.m., a patrol officer allegedly observed a vehicle with a suspended registration and operating without insurance while on patrol on Busti-Sugar Grove road in the town of Busti. Upon further investigation, the vehicle was found to be operated by Cauley, and he was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, operating with a suspended registration and operating without insurance. He will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NORTH HARMONY – Thomas M. Brown, 43, of Mayville, received multiple charges following an incident that occurred Saturday evening. At approximately 8:10 p.m., deputies located a subject asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle on Panama-Stedman Road in the town of North Harmony. The operator was identified as Brown and, upon further investigation, he was found to be intoxicated. Brown was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and parking on highway. He was later released with traffic tickets. He will appear in North Harmony Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

SILVER CREEK – Joseph M. Sheedy, 37, of Silver Creek, received multiple charges upon police execution of a warrant issued out of the village of Silver Creek. At approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sheedy was taken into custody and charged with third-degree sexual abuse, second-degree harassment and trespass. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

FORESTVILLE – Johnathan V. Eddings, 22, of Silver Creek, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and no driver seat belt following an incident occurring Saturday. At approximately 11:52 a.m., deputies on patrol observed a subject not wearing a seat belt while operating a motor vehicle on Main Street in Forestville. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Eddings. Further investigation found that Eddings was in possession of a quantity of marijuana and paraphernalia. Eddings was charged accordingly, and was released with citations directing him to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

GERRY – Craig A. Kofod, 59, of Sinclairville, received multiple charges following a traffic stop early Sunday morning. At approximately 12:52 a.m., deputies on patrol in the town of Gerry observed a vehicle speeding and failing to maintain its marked lane of travel. Upon stopping the vehicle, the operator identified himself as Kofod. Further investigation found that Kofod was intoxicated while operating the vehicle. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, speed in zone and failure to keep right. Kofod was processed and released with citations directing him to appear in Gerry Town Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RANDOLPH – A 16-year-old female resident of the Randolph Children’s Home has been taken into custody for criminal trespass following an incident which allegedly occurred Saturday evening at approximately 6 p.m. Through investigation, it was determined that the female left the Children’s Home at approximately 2:25 a.m. that day and forcibly entered a door leading into the basement of the Randolph Academy located on the Children’s Home grounds. As a result, the female was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and, following arraignment, was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of bail.

EAST OTTO – Daniel C. Ives, 57, of Otto, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred Saturday. At approximately 10:52 a.m., a sheriff’s deputy observed a subject operating a motor vehicle on Connoisarauley Road in the town of East Otto without a seat belt on and pulled the vehicle over. During the course of the traffic stop, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, Ives, was doing so in an intoxicated condition. Ives submitted to a chemical breath test which revealed a blood alcohol content of nearly two times the legal limit. It was additionally discovered that Ives had a past DWI conviction, thereby increasing the present DWI to a felony. In addition to the DWI charge, Ives was also charged with no seat belt, refusal of a pre-screen breath test and open container of alcohol beverage. Following processing, Ives was arraigned in the town of Mansfield and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

LAKEWOOD – Brianna D. Price of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny at 8:53 p.m. Thursday after police officers responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at Debs in the Chautauqua Mall. Price allegedly took several items from the store without paying. She will be in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT.

HANOVER – Timothy P. Murphy, 55, of Buffalo was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over at 11:25 p.m. Friday on Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover. He will be in Hanover Town Court later.

ELLICOTT – Timothy A. Penhollow, 48, of Gerry was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and unsafe lane change at 11:37 p.m. Friday on Route 60 in Ellicott. He will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

ELLERY – Boys M. Freeborough, 58, of Stoney Run Road, Sugar Grove, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no headlights at 10:13 p.m. Friday after deputies saw a vehicle driving down Lakeside Drive, Bemus Point, with no headlights. Freeborough will be in Ellery Town Court later.

POLAND – John D. Devereaux, 21, of Elm Street, Kennedy, was charged with moving from lane unsafely and driving while intoxicated at 12:50 p.m. Saturday after a single-car accident on Hartson Road, Poland. Deputies report Devereaux’s vehicle went off the road and into a ditch. Devereaux suffered minor injuries while getting out of his vehicle and was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment. The Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene. Devereaux will be in Poland Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

Heather C. Dominey, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest at 2:25 a.m. Saturday after a fight at West Third and Cherry streets. According to a police report, officers responded to a reported fight in progress. Dominey allegedly tried to punch a police officer while the officer was trying to charge Dominey before she allegedly struggled with officers who were trying to arrest her. She was taken to the Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.

Miranda J. Crandall, 20, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with improper turn, driving while ability impaired with drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:42 p.m., officers came upon a two-car vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of East Second and Buffalo streets. A vehicle driven by Crandall allegedly made an improper turn from Buffalo Street onto East Second Street. According to police, Crandall failed to maintain her lane and struck a vehicle head on that had stopped at a red light on East Second Street. Investigation revealed that Crandall was impaired by the use of drugs. She was uninjured, however the driver of the other vehicle was transported to the WCA Hospital complaining of back pain. Crandall was also found in possession of marijuana. She was transported to the city jail where she later posted bail. She will appear in court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WARSAW – Elizabeth Tingue-Bremen, 32, of Arcade was taken into custody Wednesday on a warrant for violation of probation. At 1:15 p.m., she was taken into custody at Wyoming County Community Health System, located at 401 N. Main St. in Warsaw. She was taken to the county jail. No bail is set at this time.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Bruce R. Donn, 52, of Grand Island was charged Thursday with failure to stop at stop sign, driving while intoxicated common law and DWI per se. At 12:56 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle travel through a stop sign at the intersection of Alleghany Road and Iola Drive in Hanover. The vehicle was pulled over by deputies and the driver – Donn – was determined to be intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Rebecca A. Owles, 37, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and possession of an open container. At 1:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s on East Second Street for a report of a vehicle being operated by an intoxicated driver. As officers arrived on location, they observed a truck leaving the parking lot and traveling west on East Second Street. They then observed the truck drive south on Charlotte Avenue and fail to keep right. Officers pulled over the truck and determined that the driver – Owles – was intoxicated. She subsequently failed her field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. Her blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

John Devine, 46, of Ashville was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. At 10:30 p.m., police responded to Hoag Road for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, they found that Devine allegedly pushed a female inside their residence and in the presence of a young child. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Jonathan P. Rudewicz, 37, of Amherst was charged Tuesday with open container. At 11:30 p.m., deputies observed Rudewicz walking on a public road while in possession of an open alcoholic beverage container. He was consuming the alcohol while walking on Iola Drive in Hanover. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RED HOUSE – Angie L. Koscielak, 46, of Hicksville, Ohio was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Jeffrey W. Koscielak, 53, also of Hicksville, Ohio, was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. New York State Police pulled over the couple on Interstate 86 in Red House for an obstructed plate. Angie Koscielak was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a stun gun. She was arraigned in Red House Court and committed to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. Jeffrey Koscielak was found to be in possession of a dagger and will appear in Red House Court at a later date. He was later released.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joshua J. Erhard, 18, of Falconer was taken into custody Monday for two counts of grand larceny. The charge stems from multiple reports on June 18 of vehicles being entered and burglarized. Erhard was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

John M. Pokoj, 32, of Falconer was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Police were called to a domestic incident in Falconer and determined that Pokoj had allegedly endangered the welfare of a child. He is due back in Ellicott Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Roger L. Williams, 52, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with two counts of petit larceny. At 11:45 p.m., officers responded to 43 Sampson St. on a complaint of a neighbor stealing electricity from other neighbors. After officers spoke with two other neighbors, it was learned that on different dates, Williams had run an electric cord from one neighbor’s apartment to his apartment because his electricity had been shut off. This caused high electric bills for the other neighbors. Williams was transported to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Alfred J. Kohl, 47, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal contempt. At 12:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to 10 Langford St. for a fight. Upon arrival, they located a man lying on top of Kohl trying to prevent him from fighting. Officers quickly secured Kohl and learned that he allegedly entered the victim’s home unlawfully and the victim had a valid order of protection against him. Kohl was transported to the city jail.

Gregory Negron-Garcia, 33, of Dunkirk was charged Sunday with failure to stop at a steady red signal, failure to keep right, speed in zone, failure to yield right of way to emergency vehicles, unlicensed operator, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. At 1:51 a.m., officers observed a blue sedan run a red light at the intersection of East Fourth Street at North Main Street. The vehicle then crossed the double yellow solid line at it was speeding up North Main Street. The driver – Negron-Garcia – failed to pull over when officers activated the overhead lights. Investigation determined that Negron-Garcia was intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was more than .18 percent. He was transported to the city jail and is pending arraignment.

Sienna M. Swanson, 20, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with inadequate/no headlights, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI-Leandra’s Law and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 3:08 a.m., police observed a vehicle on East Second Street near Cross Street traveling with no headlights. Officers pulled over the vehicle and determined that Swanson had suspended driving privileges. She was also intoxicated with a 15-year-old child in the vehicle. Her blood alcohol content was more than the legal limit. She was transported to the city jail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 16-year-old youth was charged on August 11 with unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and numerous vehicle and traffic infractions. At 1:16 a.m., police pulled over a speeding vehicle on Route 60 and determined that the driver possessed a small quantity of marijuana. He was also driving on a learner’s permit without a guardian. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

POMFRET – Andrew J. Phillips, 24, of Forestville was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, uninspected motor vehicle, inadequate stop lamps and insufficient tail lamps. At 3:53 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for numerous equipment violations. Investigation determined that the driver – Phillips – was intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Darien R. Draggett, 20, of Fredonia was charged Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child. At 11:32 p.m., deputies were called to the Cassadaga Fire Hall and Brooks Memorial Hospital to investigate an ATV accident that resulted in two injured riders. Draggett stated he was operating the ATV after consuming alcoholic beverages and on private property when his chain allegedly seized up and caused the ATV to lurch to the left and overturn, ejecting his 16-year-old passenger. Neither were wearing a helmet. The 16-year-old female contacted an adult who transported her to the Cassadaga Fire Hall. She was examined and later transported to Brooks Hospital for a possible head injury. Draggett was also transported to Brooks Hospital for minor injuries to his shoulder. Draggett will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

A 17-year-old youth was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 1:15 a.m., troopers were speaking to a small group of people on West 10th Street in Jamestown when they observed one of the group throw a taser onto the ground. The taser was seized. The youth will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.

Courtney M. Phillips, 23, of Panama was charged Saturday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana after troopers responded to her residence for a report of a disturbance. The investigation found Phillips to be in possession of heroin and marijuana. She was transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown for processing. She will appear in court at a later date.

Amara S. Olsen, 20, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of fireworks after a 1:30 a.m. traffic stop on West 10th Street in Jamestown. Field tests were performed after an odor of alcohol was detected and Olsen was placed under arrest for DWI. She was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .14 was obtained. A passenger, Jacob M. Komenda, 18, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol under age 21. Both Olsen and Komenda will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.

Darlene M. Harvey, 42, of Bemus Point was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and several vehicle and traffic infractions. Police responded to a personal-injury vehicle accident at the intersection of Strunk Road and Fluvanna Avenue Extension in which a vehicle struck a sign and utility pole. The driver – Harvey – was treated at the scene by Fluvanna Fire Department officials. Investigation revealed that Harvey was intoxicated. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jordan T. Adams, 28, of Jamestown was charged Thursday for an inadequate front tire and failure to stop at a stop light. Christine M. Redding, 34, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with possession of a hypodermic needle. At 3 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle that allegedly did not stop at a red light at the intersection of Chautauqua Avenue and Fairmount Avenue. Once the vehicle stopped in the parking lot of a local business, Redding left the vehicle and went inside the business to dispose of a hypodermic needle in the bathroom, police said. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Sheryl M. Barton, 33, of Falconer was charged Wednesday with third-degree grand larceny. Barton was a part-time home health care assistant that worked at a residence at Chautauqua Institution. It is alleged that she stole a bag of gold jewelry that consisted of rings and earrings inside the residence. A joint investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Chautauqua Police led to the recovery of two pieces of jewelry and the arrest of Barton. She will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

LITTLE VALLEY – Carl R. Williams, 35, of Olean was picked up on an arrest warrant out of New Albion on Tuesday. He was arraigned at the New Albion Court and held on unrelated charges.

GREAT VALLEY – Keith F. Ciereck, 49, of Howard, Ohio, was charged on Aug. 9 with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, DWI and failure to maintain lane after being pulled over on Route 219 for traveling on the shoulder. Investigation revealed that he was intoxicated. He will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

RANDOLPH – David E. Sargent Jr., 51, of Jamestown was charged on Aug. 9 with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a child less than 15, failure to keep right, no front plate and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after a traffic stop on Route 394. Investigation revealed he was intoxicated with two children as passengers. He will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.

A 17-year-old Jamestown male was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. At 12:53 p.m., police responded to Tops Markets on Washington Street for a shoplifter in custody. A 17-year-old male was found stealing merchandise totaling $20.52. He was transported to the city jail and arraigned.

Lori L. Kelsey, 48, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with theft of services. At 12:57 a.m., officers were dispatched to 52 Thayer St. for a complaint of a female refusing to pay her cab fare. Officers spoke with Kelsey who stated that she did not have money to pay for her $8.25 fare to her residence. She was transported to the city jail without incident.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ELLICOTT – Richard A. Carlson, 19, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of alcohol under 21 and permitting unlicensed operation. Thomas M. Lombardo, 16, of Frewsburg was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of alcohol under 21, unlicensed operator, operating out of class, failure to keep right and improper left turn. At 12:15 a.m., a Sheriff’s patrol pulled over a vehicle for making traffic infractions on Fairmount Avenue in Ellicott. The driver – Lombardo – was found driving on only a class DJ learner’s permit. Deputies observed a quantity of beer and marijuana inside. Both will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Ashley E. Matherly, 24, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and endangering the welfare of a child. At 1:01 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Newton Street for a report of two females stealing lawn solar lights. The females were located on Stowe Street near Falconer Street in possession of the lights. Matherly was in the company of an 11-year-old female when she stole the lights. She was transported to the city jail and is pending arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Aaron K. Joehlin, 23, of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance outside original container. Rebecca M. Oswald, 22, of Rochester was charged Tuesday with speed in zone. At 1:18 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 5/20 for speeding in Hanover. Investigation revealed that the passenger – Joehlin – was allegedly in possession of marijuana, prescription narcotics in an unlabelled container and various drug paraphernalia. They will both appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

Alex A. Parrilla, 25, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 5:08 a.m., officers responded to a domestic incident at 26 Linden Ave. Investigation determined that Parrilla punched out a window and then smashed numerous frames and knick-knacks. He was transported to city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.

Jorge L. Lopez Jr., 23, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with failure to keep right, failure to use four-way flashers, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felony driving while intoxicated and felony DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. At 1:15 a.m., officers observed a blue SUV failing to keep right on Allen Street near Pratt Avenue. Police pulled over the vehicle on Allen Street near Tiffany Avenue. Investigation revealed that the driver – Lopez – was intoxicated and had a revoked license. He was transported to the city jail where a chemical breath test revealed a BAC of .12 percent. It was also learned that Lopez had a prior DWI conviction. He is currently awaiting arraignment.

Zakary M. Alcorn, 23, was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to use turn signal and failure to keep right. At 6:03 p.m., officers observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal and cross the center of the road on Newland Avenue at Barrett Avenue. Upon investigation, officers found the driver – Alcorn – intoxicated. He was transported to city jail where he awaits arraignment.

Kayla N. Clark, 22, of Jamestown was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child. At 10:45 a.m., officers responded to 366 Buffalo St. for a small child outside of the home, playing in the street. Officers found the 2-year-old victim outside not wearing any clothing, and without supervision. Investigation revealed that Clark was inside the residence and unaware that the victim was outside. She was transported to the city jail where she awaits arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brandon D. Orth, 27, of Gowanda was charged Monday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating on a suspended registration and operating without insurance. Kylene M. Hellriegel, 30, of Gowanda was charged Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a hypodermic needle. Police pulled over a vehicle on Route 380 in Ellicott for operating on a suspended registration. Police learned that the driver – Orth – had suspended driving privileges and a valid arrest warrant out of the Ellicott Police Department for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. Investigation also revealed that the backseat passenger – Hellriegel – was in possession of a small amount of heroin and two hypodermic needles. Both were remanded to the county jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

BEMUS POINT – John W. Peterson, 31, and Kelley L. Peterson, both of Warren, Pa., were charged Sunday with trespass. At 1:35 a.m., deputies responded to the Village Casino for a report of a disorderly person. Investigation revealed that both John and Kelley Peterson were allegedly involved in an altercation inside the casino and were told to leave several times. They refused to leave though. Both will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

CHARLOTTE – Mark Holland, 34, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree driving while suspended after police pulled his vehicle over on Route 60 for an inadequate plate lamp and an inadequate muffler/exhaust system. A DMV check revealed that Holland had a suspended driver’s license. Holland was arrested and then arraigned in Charlotte Court, where he posted $500 cash bail. He will appear in Charlotte Court on Sept. 16.

NAPOLI – Christa Jimerson, 42, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. Daniel Bonafede, 29, of Irving was charged with not wearing a helmet. Shortly after midnight, police responded to Benson Road in Napoli for a report of a personal injury accident. Upon arrival, police found Jimerson and Bonafede suffering from injuries. An odor of alcohol and marijuana was detected. Further investigation determined the accident occurred on Kings Highway North and that the driver of the ATV was intoxicated by alcohol and drugs. Jimerson was transported to UPMC Hamot and Bonafede was taken to WCA Hospital. They will appear in Napoli Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT – Kelly E. Hanrahan, 23, of University Heights, Ohio, was charged Saturday at 1 a.m. with aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to signal and crossing hazardous markings after a patrol observed her swerving across double solid lines in Bemus Point. Hanrahan was placed into custody after field tests and transported to state police in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .20 was obtained. She will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

Christopher C. Carter, 21, of Jamestown was charged Monday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content more than .08 percent. At 1:04 a.m., officers on East Second Street near James Avenue observed a dark-colored sedan speeding eastbound. After pulling over the vehicle, officers determined that the driver – Carter – was intoxicated. After failing field sobriety tests, Carter was transported to the city jail. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

A 16-year-old female from Jamestown was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 11:05 a.m., police responded to an address on Broadhead Avenue for a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with the 34-year-old female who stated that her 16-year-old daughter became irate and smashed a potted plant. The 16-year-old female was located a short time later. She is currently awaiting arraignment in the city jail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tharesa R. Stanfield, 36, and Steven R. Patterson, 42, both of Jamestown, were charged Friday with disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Stanfield kicked and struck another person in the face during a fight in Falconer. Patterson was also involved in the fight and threatened to cause physical harm to an individual. Both were observed using numerous obscenities while police were at the scene. Patterson will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. Stanfield was remanded to the county jail on $750/$1,500 bail. She will also appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – John J. Thompson, 37, of Niagara Falls was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 4:32 p.m., deputies received a report of a possible domestic in progress in a moving vehicle. After deputies pulled over the vehicle on Michigan Street in Sunset Bay, they found the driver – Thompson – in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Jesse S. Nahrebeski, 19, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with unauthorized burning. At 11:32 p.m., deputies responded to a loud party complaint on Lafayette Street in Silver Creek. Upon arrival, deputies observed a large fire in the backyard of the residence. Nahrebeski was identified as the person hosting the party. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NAPOLI – Dale R. Wagantha, 31, of Little Valley was arrested Wednesday on a bench warrant issued from Cattaraugus County Court. He was transported to the county jail without bail and will appear in court at a later date.

OTTO – Samantha J. Lilley, 29, of Delevan was charged Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. with endangering the welfare of a child after a complaint of a domestic dispute between her and her boyfriend. She will appear in Otto Court at a later date.

SOUTH DAYTON – Charles H. McCracken Jr., 32, of South Dayton was charged on Aug. 5 with disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration after an incident on Mill Street in South Dayton. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $300 bail and will appear in court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

POLAND – Rebecca L. Dahlgren, 29, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment after police responded to a domestic disturbance at 21 Birch St. in Poland. After Dahlgren was taken into custody, she was placed into the backseat of the police car and proceeded to kick the rear passenger side window, eventually shattering it. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $20,000 bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jonathan Vega Rivera, 22, has been charged with second-degree criminal contempt following an incident that occurred Friday. At approximately 9:37 p.m., officers spoke with a male and female at the intersection of Crestline Drive and Swan Street. After a brief investigation, officers determined that the male, Vega, had a valid order of protection to stay away from the female. Vega was charged and transported to City Jail without incident.

Jose L. Ortiz, 36, has been charged following a probation warrant check performed by officers on Saturday. At approximately 2:54 a.m., the check was conducted by officers at 115 Fulton St. As officers attempted to place Ortiz into custody, he physically pulled away and threw a punch at officers. He was taken into custody on the probation warrant and additionally charged with resisting arrest. He was transported to City Jail pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – Julio E. Torres, 18, was charged with petit larceny after he was caught stealing women’s clothing at Wal-Mart in Lakewood on Monday. He was taken into custody and issued an appearance ticket, and is due back in court on a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE – Kristen M. Brooks, 40, of Mayville, has been charged following an incident that occurred Saturday. At approximately 2:45 p.m., deputies received information that there was a possible intoxicated driver in the Arrow Mart parking lot. Deputies located the person, who was identified as Brooks. Through an investigation it was alleged that Brooks had operated her vehicle while intoxicated. A check of Brooks’ driving record revealed that her privilege to operate a motor vehicle in New York state had been revoked due to a prior driving while intoxicated conviction. Brooks was taken into custody and charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and aggravated DWI. She was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court, and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

ELLINGTON – Britney L. Clifton, 16, of Leon, was charged following a two-vehicle crash with injuries Saturday. At approximately, 8:30 p.m., deputies and Ellington Fire Department responded to Thornton Road in the town of Ellington. A 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on Thornton Road when a 2002 Toyota passenger van entered the roadway from a parked position and collided with the motorcycle. The driver of the van was identified as Leon. Both Leon and the motorcycle operator were transported to WCA Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Clifton was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way while entering traffic and unlicensed operator. Clifton had a learner’s permit, but the licensed driver supervising her was not 21 years old. The 18-year-old passenger was not injured in the crash.

NORTH HARMONY – Jason C. Bang Jr., 54, was charged following a traffic stop that occurred Friday. At approximately 10 p.m., deputies stopped a speeding motorist of Route 394 in the town of North Harmony. The operator, Bang, was found to be in possession of a stun gun. He was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and speeding. Bang will answer the charges in North Harmony Town Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Thomas J. Bottomley, 31, of Mayville, received multiple charges following a traffic stop that occurred Friday. At approximately 9:50 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Valley Street in the village of Mayville for having only one working headlight. The driver was identified as Bottomley and, upon investigation, it was alleged that he was intoxicated. An open container of alcohol was also found in the vehicle. Bottomley was taken into custody for possessing. A record check of Bottomley’s driving history showed he had a previous conviction for driving while intoxicated within the past 10 years, making this incident a felony. Bottomley was issued tickets for no head lamp, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, felony DWI, and DWI per se. He will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Brandon J. Brooks, 19, of Gowanda, was charged following an incident that occurred Sunday morning. At approximately 12:04 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 5 in the town of Hanover for failure to stop at a stop sign. The driver identified himself as Brooks and, upon investigation, it was alleged that he was intoxicated. Brooks was taken into custody and charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, driving while intoxicated, and DWI per se. He was processed and later released to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Carlee Northrup, 26, of Silver Creek, received multiple charges following a traffic stop that occurred Saturday. At approximately 9:19 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane and failing to signal a turn on Williams Street in the village of Silver Creek. The driver was identified as Northrup. Upon investigation, it was alleged that Northrup was intoxicated. She was charged with failure to maintain lane, no turn signal, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content level of .08 percent or higher. Northrup will appear in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Philip J. Porpiglia, 61, of Irving, has been charged following a traffic stop that occurred Sunday. At approximately 12:38 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to signal a turn on Allegany Road in the town of Hanover. Upon investigation, the driver, Porpiglia, was alleged to be intoxicated. He was charged with no turn signal, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content level of .08 percent or higher. Porpiglia will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – Marcus Lindstrom, 19, of Sherman, has been charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child. On Sunday, officers responded to a reported underage party at a residence on Stebbins Road in Sherman. Upon arrival, deputies located several underage people in possession of alcohol. Lindstrom was identified as the person who was hosting the party. He was issued an appearance ticket, and will appear in Sherman Town Court at a later date.

Robert Fritz, 38, of Erie, Pa., was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. At 1 a.m., an officer observed a speeding car on Baker Street Extension and pulled it over. Investigation revealed that the driver-Fritz-had a suspended license and was in possession of marijuana. Christopher E. Delahoy, 25, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal mischief. At 12:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 262 Broadhead Ave. for a report of a car window that had been smashed out. A witness described the suspect as a shirtless white male that was walking down Barker Street. Officers located the suspect on South Main Street near Newland Avenue. He was identified as Delahoy. He was transported to the city jail where he is pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Padraic B. Gray, 32, of Lakewood was charged Wednesday with criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 5:57 p.m., police were dispatched to 10 Walnut St. in Lakewood for a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Gray was allegedly responsible for the above charges. He was sent to the county jail on $5,000 and $10,000 property bond. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHERRY CREEK – Darcy L. Marquart, 51, of Cherry Creek was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment, third-degree criminal mischief, illegal open burn, unlawfully growing cannibis and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana. At 4:30 p.m., Marquart allegedly shoved and punched another individual during an incident that occurred on Maple Street in Cherry Creek. It is also alleged that Darcy burned property belonging to the same individual. Investigation revealed that Darcy was allegedly growing cannibis and was in possession of marijuana. She will appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

SHERIDAN – David Hughes, 74, of Dunkirk, was charged Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal tampering and theft of services. The charges were the result of an investigation on a complaint received on July 3 regarding illegal piping and use of natural gas from a gas well located on Lakeshore Drive East in Sheridan, without permission from the owner. The estimated natural gas value used was $3,396.89. Hughes was processed at the Fredonia State Police barracks and will appear in Sheridan Court on Aug. 14.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 16-year-old Jamestown resident was charged Tuesday with petit larceny and false impersonation. At 11:18 p.m., officers were called to the area of 19 S. Main St. at the CVS for a reported theft of two cases of beer. The suspect was located a short distance away and identified by store personnel. The 16-year-old suspect allegedly provided officers with a false name. It was later determined that he had two outstanding warrants for burglary and obstructing governmental administration. He was transported to the city jail where he is pending arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Michael D. Tyre, 26, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with third-degree assault after police responded to an assault complaint on East Everett Street in Falconer. Investigation revealed that Tyre had struck another male in the face after an argument at a gathering. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Tina M. Gardner-Bemis, 44, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with failing to keep right, driving while intoxicated per se, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, previous alcohol conviction, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and open container of alcohol. Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Allen Street Extension. Witnesses stated that the female driver had left the scene on foot. Police located Gardner-Bemis and found her intoxicated. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Elba I. Figueroa, 35, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with petit larceny. On July 24, police responded to Wegmans for an earlier shoplifting complaint. It is alleged that a Hispanic male and female entered the store and removed beer, bread, a gallon of milk and lunch meat before leaving. Figueroa turned herself into Ellicott Police on Saturday after security photos were put in The Post-Journal. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Mark J. Eppinger Jr., 17, of Ashville was charged Sunday with obstruction of governmental administration and underage possession of alcohol. Police responded to the area of Canterbury Road to check on an intoxicated male. When officers located Eppinger, he refused to answer questions after numerous attempts to find out where he lived. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and turned over to his family.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Samantha M. Fluent and Tracey L. Wynn, both of Jamestown, were charged Sunday with petit larceny after police responded to a reported shoplifting at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Investigation revealed that both individuals allegedly stole store merchandise. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date. Wynn was turned over to the Jamestown Police Department after investigation revealed she had an outstanding warrant through Jamestown.

A 16-year-old female was charged Sunday with petit larceny after police responded to a reported shoplifter at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Investigation revealed that the 16-year-old allegedly stole merchandise from the store. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK – Graciela Soto, 36, of Dunkirk was charged Tuesday with misuse of food stamps. It is alleged that from June 1, 2013 to October 31, 2013, Soto failed to report that her husband was employed and residing with her at a Dunkirk residence. Soto was in receipt of $3,213 in unentitled benefits as a result of this unreported income. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

HANOVER – A 17-year-old male youth from Silver Creek was charged Monday with open container, underage possession of alcohol and littering. A 16-year-old male was charged Monday with open container and underage possession of alcohol. At approximately 3:30 p.m., deputies observed two male youths on the Sunset Bay break wall in possession of open containers of alcohol. Both will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Juan Rivera-Rosario, 26, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 1:45 p.m., officers responded to 530 Winsor St. for a possible domestic incident and violation of an order of protection. Officers located Rivera-Rosario inside the residence along with a victim. Investigation revealed that there was a valid Jamestown City Court order of protection for him to stay away from the victim’s home. He was transported to city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.

Ryan A. Bloom, 28, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and traffic violations. At 10:24 a.m., officers pulled over a vehicle because the driver – Bloom – was using a cell phone while driving. During the investigation, officers located a loaded hypodermic needle and four baggies of heroin. He is currently pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Krystynn R. Barsness, 24, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that Barsness stole $155.85 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Michelle R. Mosier, 25, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 12:40 p.m., Sears Loss Prevention observed Mosier leave the store without paying for children’s clothing that totaled $122.99. She will appear in Busti Court on Aug. 14.

Nicholas R. Reid, 21, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 7:51 p.m., police charged Reid after he allegedly stole merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He will appear in Busti at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

SINCLAIRVILLE – James A. Huston Jr., 36, of Sinclairville was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, no inspection and unsafe tires after Troopers responded to Prospect Street in Sinclairville to investigate a report of a vehicle in a ditch.While interviewing the Huston, Troopers noticed an odor of alcohol.After field tests, they placed Huston under arrest for DWI. He was transported to State Police in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .17 was obtained. He will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

William E. Hubbard, 28, has been charged with four counts of second-degree criminal contempt following an incident that occurred Friday evening. At approximately 9:29 p.m., officers responded to 222 Windsor St. for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Hubbard was found inside the residence. He did have a valid order of protection to stay away from four individual victims also inside the residence. Hubbard was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

Isaiah Pearson, 20, received multiple charges following a Sunday morning incident. At approximately 5:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to 849 Lafayette St. for a reported fight. Upon arrival, it was determined that Pearson had punched a male victim several times. It was also discovered that he was in violation of an order of protection after he was found with a female who he has been ordered to stay away from. Pearson was taken into custody, charged and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vincent J. Mardino, 34, of Gowanda, has been charged in the aftermath of a motor vehicle accident which occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with personal injury – which occurred on Route 474 in the town of Busti. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Mardino, operator of the vehicle, who said he had fallen asleep and exited the eastside of the roadway, hitting trees. Upon further investigation, Mardino was found to allegedly be under the influence of drugs. He was charged for driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to maintain lane and expired inspection. He will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

Taylor M. Torres was charged Saturday with petit larceny after she allegedly took merchandise from Wal-Mart without paying. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Hope E. Ruth, 22, of Randolph was charged Wednesday with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, failure to keep right and driving over hazard markings. At 2:15 a.m., officers pulled over a vehicle on Hopkins Avenue near Flagg Avenue for failing to keep right and driving over hazard markings. Investigation revealed that the driver – Ruth – was intoxicated. A chemical breath test showed that her blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Alberto J. Acevedo, 24, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with unnecessary noise and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At 1:42 a.m., officers on patrol on Barrett Avenue noticed what appeared to be a man attempting to break into a house. When officers attempted to speak to the man, he allegedly refused to turn around or show his hands. The man eventually turned toward officers, but would not state his name. Investigation revealed that the man – Acevedo – had a valid bench warrant issued from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. During the investigation, Acevedo allegedly continued to yell offensive words toward officers after being told to stop several times. He was transported to city jail without incident.

Cheryl J. Ramsey, 59, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with DWI, and driving with a BAC of .08 percent or more. At 6:53 p.m., officers responded to 39 S. Main St. for a personal injury accident. Investigation revealed that a 2010 Chevrolet struck a parked 2009 Chevrolet and a pedestrian that was entering the vehicle. The pedestrian was slightly injured. The driver of the 2010 Chevrolet – Ramsey – was found to be intoxicated. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Searcy E. Fields, 45, and Shatara R. McGee, 26, both of Jamestown, were charged Thursday with petit larceny. At 4:05 p.m., police were called to the Dollar General on West Main Street in Falconer for a reported shoplifting. Upon arrival, officers found Fields and McGee detained by store employees. They allegedly removed assorted household and cleaning items without paying for them.
