JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jaysen Galarza Santos, 25, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. At 5:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to Allen Street for a warrant check of Santos, who had a confirmed warrant out of the Chautauqua County Family Court. Upon arriving at the scene, officers observed Santos jumping out of a window and attempting to run away. He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit, and transported to city jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – Kenneth Bess, 20, of Lockport was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 4:17 p.m., deputies were on patrol on Iola Drive in Hanover when they observed Bess in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Investigation revealed that Bess was under 21 and all had a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
LITTLE VALLEY – Preston J. Quinn, 20, of Little Valley was charged Monday with third-degree assault. At 7 p.m., Quinn allegedly punched a 23-year-old male in the face, causing the victim to sustain a broken jaw and require treatment at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. Quinn will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.
OLEAN – Brandi R. Finch, 25, of Olean was apprehended by Olean Police and turned over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office to answer a Family Court warrant. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Louis A. Rivera, 58, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 8:06 p.m., officers went to an apartment building at 303 Lafayette St. to a conduct a home visit for a parolee. During the investigation, officers found a quantity of heroin and marijuana packaged for sale. Rivera was taken into custody.

ELLICOTT – Jacob E. Andrews, 30, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with inadequate muffler, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, no seatbelt and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop for not wearing a seatbelt and a loud muffler on I-86 in Ellicott. A computer check of Andrews showed he also had a suspended driver’s license and further investigation found him to be in possession of marijuana. He was issued tickets and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Bruce A. Crawford Jr., 25, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no headlights. At 3:45 a.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Prather Avenue without any headlights. After pulling over the vehicle, officers found the driver – Crawford – intoxicated. He was sent to city jail without incident.
A 17-year-old female from Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny, second-degree harassment, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 11:38 p.m., officers were called to 233 Camp St. for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated his 17-year-old girlfriend came to his house, slapped him in the face and broke his cellphone. Officers located the female a short time later and transported her to city jail.
Sarah J. Patric, 31, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to maintain lane. At 2:13 a.m., officers responded to Hallock and West Third streets for a report of a vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that Patric side-swiped an unoccupied vehicle that was parked on Hallock Street. She was found to be intoxicated. A chemical breath test showed that her blood alcohol content was above .08 percent. She is currently awaiting arraignment at the city jail.
Felix J. Rodriguez-Gomez of Jamestown was taken into custody Tuesday on a Chautauqua County Court warrant for probation and resisting arrest. At 11:43 a.m., officers went to 7 W. 15th St. for a warrant check. As officers approached the house, they saw Rodriguez-Gomez sitting in front of the house and later running away toward North Main Street. He was eventually caught and transported to the city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Miguel A. Soto of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 12 p.m., officers responded to Wegmans for a report of a male who had left the store with 10 cases of beer without paying for them. Lakewood-Busti and Ellicott police located Soto on Fairmount Avenue. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – Bryan C. Michalski, 25, of West Seneca was charged Saturday with possession of open container of alcohol in public place. At 2:17 p.m., deputies observed Michalski in possession of an open container of alcohol on South Shore Drive in Hanover. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
SHERIDAN – John F. Way, 69, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and operating above .08 percent blood alcohol content. At 5:45 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the roadway with the motor running and the driver passed out at the wheel. Investigation determined that the driver – Way – was intoxicated. He will appear in Sheridan Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Matthew R. Greenough, 25, of Forestville was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. At 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to King Road in Forestville for the report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Greenough punched and kicked a male victim and also damaged the victim’s property. This occurred in close proximity to a male youth victim. He was committed to the county jail on $1,000 cash/$2,000 property.
HANOVER – Joshua P. Lapatra, 22, of Lakeview was charged Saturday with no seat belt. Jordan M. Thrun, 23, of Buffalo was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Adam J. Schnettler, 24, of Buffalo was charged Saturday with possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle. At 1 p.m., deputies observed a male driving a vehicle without a seat belt on South Shore Drive in Hanover. The driver was identified as Lapatra. Deputies were able to observe open containers of alcohol inside in plain view. Further investigation found a quantity of marijuana. All three men will appear in Hanover Court.
POLAND-Jeffrey C. Lott, 68, of Falconer was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely, speed not reasonable, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and reckless driving. At 7:20 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a possible vehicle accident on Quaint Road in Poland. the vehicle in question was located at a residence on Quaint Road. Investigation revealed that the driver – Lott – was intoxicated and had left the scene of an accident. He nearly struck three individuals who were walking down Quaint Road near Clay Pond Road. He will appear in Poland Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PERRYSBURG – Eric Henhawk, 38, of Gowanda was charged Saturday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and stopping/standing on the roadway. At 8:15 p.m., Gowanda was charged after a traffic stop on Eaton Road in Perrysburg. He was found in possession of a small quantity of cocaine and marijuana. He will appear in Perrysburg Court at a later date.
HINSDALE – Cecil R. Gayton, 52, of Hinsdale was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment. At 1:45 a.m., Gayton was charged after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend at his residence. He allegedly punched and bit his girlfriend. He will appear in Hinsdale Court at a later date.
CUBA – Amanda Hamilton, 32, of Naples was arrested Saturday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a Cattaraugus County Family Court warrant. She was turned over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and transported to Allegany Court for arraignment. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 bail, and will appear in Family Court at a later date.

Harvey P. Ryan, 27, of Celoron was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to keep right after a traffic stop on Bigelow Street in Jamestown for failure to keep right. While interviewing Ryan, police detected an odor of marijuana and found a quantity of marijuana. Ryan will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Fred J. Levy, 35, of Jacksonville, Fla. was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, false personation, aggravated unlicensed operation and numerous other vehicle and traffic charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 86 in Ellicott for speeding and failing to maintain his lane. While interviewing Levy, police detected an odor of alcohol was detected. After field sobriety tests, Levy was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .08 was obtained. Levy gave a false name and date of birth to the trooper. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Ruben Vargas, 34, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with unnecessary noise and resisting arrest. At 3 a.m., officers were investigating an incident in the area of East Second and Cheney streets, when Vargas came out of his home and started yelling at them. Vargas refused to stop yelling even after officers told him to quiet down and return to his home. When told he was under arrest, Vargas attempted to flee. He became physically combative when placed under arrest. He was transported to city jail without further incident, and later remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
CHAUTAUQUA-Kristen M. Barmore-Brooks, 40, of Mayville was charged Sunday with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. At 11 p.m., deputies responded to an address on South Erie Street in Mayville. Investigation led to Barmore-Brooks being charged after an alleged altercation with a youth. She was committed to the county jail in lieu of bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Danielle L. Rapp, 35, received multiple charges following a traffic stop which occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 2:38 a.m., an officer observed a red pickup truck drive through the stop sign located at the intersection of Allen and Maple streets. After the truck ran another stop sign at the intersection of Allen and English streets, the officer made a traffic stop. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the truck, Rapp, was intoxicated. Rapp was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she consented to a chemical test. The test determined her blood alcohol concentration to be twice the legal limit. She was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, no/improper turn signal, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI and blood alcohol concentration of .08 percent or higher. She was later released, and will appear in court at a later date.
Kimberly A. Malone, 54, has been charged following an incident which allegedly occurred Friday. At approximately 3:09 a.m., officers responded to a Foote Avenue address for a report of a burglary in progress. Further investigation revealed that Malone had entered the victim’s residence through a window, and stole numerous amounts of jewelry. Malone was taken into custody without incident, and transported to Jamestown City Jail. She was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny, and is currently awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.
Christopher J. Terrell, 22, was charged with criminal impersonation following a traffic stop Sunday. At approximately 10:48 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Washington and Fourth streets for a traffic violation. A male passenger in the vehicle appeared to be very nervous, and gave officers a false name. Officers were able to identify the male as Christopher J. Terrell, and learned that he had a valid felony warrant out of Buffalo. Terrell was taken into custody without incident, and transported to Jamestown City Jail – where he is being held pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Carmen Figueroa, 39, was charged with petit larceny Saturday for allegedly taking merchandise totaling $198 from Sears department store without paying. Figueroa was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
OLEAN – Bobbie Jo Cleveland, 38, of Olean, was met with multiple charges Friday after she was taken into custody for selling controlled substances to an undercover officer of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Cleveland was taken into custody without incident, and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. She was arraigned at Cattaraugus County Court by Judge Michael Nenno. Cleveland was released on her own recognizance, and is to reappear in Olean City Court at a later date.
LITTLE VALLEY – Eli J. Lowry, 24, of Little Valley, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right following a traffic stop Friday morning. Lowry was processed at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, and was released. He is due to appear in Little Valley Town Court at a later date.

Rudy J. DaMonti III, 32, of Ripley was charged Thursday with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child. At 11:39 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Barrows Street where an argument was occurring. Upon arrival, officers could see DaMonti kicking the victim. Officers entered the residence and took DaMonti into custody without incident. He was transported to city jail where he is pending arraignment. Further investigation revealed that DaMonti had also choked the victim and that the entire incident occurred in front of a three-year-old child.
Clarissa R. Kohl, 20, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with second-degree criminal trespass. At 4:47 p.m., officers were dispatched to 352 E. Fourth St. for an earlier trespass complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male victim who stated a female entered his apartment through a window without his permission. While speaking with the victim, officers observed a female suspect walking down the sidewalk in front of the residence. The suspect – identified as Kohl – was found to have unlawfully entered the residence. She was transported to city jail.

POMFRET – Joshua M. Link, 23, of Fredonia was charged Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no seatbelt. At 11:31 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret after observing the driver not wearing a seat belt. Investigation revealed that the driver – Link – had suspended driving privileges in New York state. Link also had an active felony arrest warrant in Jamestown. He was turned over to the Jamestown Police.

SILVER CREEK – Daniel F. Neubauer, 34, of Silver Creek was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 5:35 p.m., deputies responded to 24 Howard St. in Silver Creek for reports of a smell of marijuana smoke coming from the lower apartment. Investigation revealed that Neubauer was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK – Patricia A. Patton, 59, of Silver Creek was charged Tuesday with trespass. At 1:35 a.m., deputies were called to Robinson Street in Silver Creek for a report of trespass. It is alleged that Patton trespassed on private property that she did not own. She will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

Michael I. Adamson, 29, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree criminal contempt. At 12:08 a.m., police were dispatched to a domestic dispute at 112 Falconer St. Apt. 1. Upon arrival, officers could hear a physical altercation and decided to make an entry. Officers saw Adamson punching a female victim while she was in a defensive position on the floor. Officers physically restrained Adamson and took into him custody. Investigation revealed that he had come to the victim’s home and started an argument. He grabbed the victim by her head and hit it against the wall, before punching her in the face several times and choking her all in the presence of a 1-year-old child. The victim has a valid order of protection against Adamson. He was transported to city jail.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
COLDSPRING – Vernon D. Pierce, 18, of Steamburg was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment. At 1 a.m., Pierce was taken into custody after an incident on South Loop in Steamburg. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $250 bail and will appear in Coldspring Court at a later date.
OLEAN – Wade C. Green, 20, of Olean was arrested Monday on two Olean bench warrants. At 8:42 p.m., Green was pulled over on Constitution Avenue in Olean after a patrol observed his vehicle had an illegal tint. During the traffic stop, it was determined that Green had two outstanding bench warrants from Olean Court. He was transported to the Olean Police Department.
SALAMANCA – Sunny J. Kennedy, 40, of Salamanca was arrested Friday at 6 p.m. on a violation of probation warrant out of Cattaraugus County Court. She was transported to county jail where she is being held without bail. She will appear in Cattaraugus County Court at a later date.

Ramon C. Spunaugle, 18, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and unlawful imprisonment. At 4:23 a.m., officers responded to Chandler Street for a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Spunaugle threw the juvenile victim onto the ground and then straddled the victim, preventing the victim from getting up. Spunaugle then put his shirt over the victim’s face, making it difficult for the victim to breath. He punched the victim in the face multiple times, causing minor bruising. Spunaugle was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.
Daniel J. Sevenish, 32, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and a bench warrant. At 10:20 p.m., officers responded to 12 W. 15th St. to assist the New York State Police in looking for a possible stolen vehicle. When officers located the alleged stolen vehicle, Sevenish approached them, saying that he knew the driver but was not going to tell his name. Sevenish refused to tell officers anything and pulled away when they tried to arrest him. After a short struggle, he was taken into custody and transported to the city jail where he is being held on bail. Officers then determined that Sevenish had a valid bench warrant out of Jamestown Court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Chaze A. Johnson, 21, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:52 p.m., a patrol on Forest Avenue Extension pulled over a vehicle that was speeding. Investigation revealed that a passenger – Johnson – had an outstanding warrant out of Jamestown. He was also in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Johnson was turned over to the Jamestown Police Department and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
NORTH HARMONY – Kristopher A. Wright, 22, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely and consumption/possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At approximately 10:35 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a call for a vehicle stopped in the roadway on Route 394 near Bly Hill in North Harmony. Deputies arrived and found Wright seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle stopped partially on the roadway. Investigation revealed he was intoxicated. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

John L. Colburn, 53, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal contempt. At approximately 2:25 a.m., officers responded to a domestic incident at 45 Baker St. Investigation revealed that Colburn went to the home of a female who had an order of protection against him. Colburn was transported to city jail and is pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Christian M. Forshee, 23, of Greensboro, N.C., was charged Tuesday with insufficient tail lamps and unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 12:17 a.m., a patrol on West Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood stopped a vehicle with no tail lamps. Investigation revealed that Forshee was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Lacey J. Hyde, 28, of Ashville was charged Monday with petit larceny. At approximately 4:14 p.m., Hyde was arrested after she stole merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. The merchandise found totalled $25.42. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Gary L. Eckholm, 57, of Mill Hall, Pa., was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more after officers stopped him on Swan Street for failing to keep right. He was remanded to the county jail on $1,500/$3,000 bail. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

GOWANDA – Kevin D. Goodemote, 58, of Dayton was charged Sunday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate exhaust. At approximately 9:21 a.m., Goodemote was stopped in Gowanda for an inadequate exhaust. Investigation revealed that his driver’s license was suspended for an alcohol-related offense. He will appear in Persia Court at a later date.

Joshua D. Whalen, 24, of Jamestown was charged Monday with obstructing governmental administration, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, failure to stop at stop sign, traveling the wrong way in a one-way street, failure to obey traffic control device and speeding. At approximately 4:22 a.m., officers became involved in a vehicle pursuit that began in West Ellicott and continued into the city. The vehicle was traveling south on Fairmount Avenue when it turned east onto West Fifth Street-a one-way street. The vehicle was speeding, disobeying signs and making unsafe turns until the driver stopped at a dead end street. He attempted to flee was caught. He is currently being held pending arraignment.

Rosa I. Lopez, 34, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with trespass after entering Wal-Mart when she was advised that she was no longer welcome. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT-Andi L. Rasmussen was charged Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child. Randy S. Rasmussen was charged Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. New York State Police responded to a report of a hit and run property damage accident that occurred on Denslow Avenue in Ellicott. The vehicle that had hit some mailboxes was located by Troopers on Route 430 out of gas. The investigation into the accident found that a domestic incident had occurred in the vehicle while the Rasmussen’s 5-year-old child was in the car. They will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
NORTH HARMONY- Zachary D. Legere, 24, of Sinclairville was charged Friday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and log book violations subsequent to a traffic stop for speeding on I-86 in North Harmony. Legere was operating a tow truck and was found to have falsified log book records and be in possession of hypodermic needles with heroin residue. Legere was transported to SP Jamestown for processing. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.
CHERRY CREEK-David A. Lanphere, 32, of Conewango Valley was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment (physical contact) after Troopers responded to a report of a domestic in Cherry Creek. Subsequent to the investigation, Lanphere was arrested. He will appear at Cherry Creek Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT-Joshua D. McCune, 27, of Westfield was charged Saturday with aggravated unlicensed operation, felony driving while intoxicated and speeding subsequent to a traffic stop for speeding on Route 60 in Ellicott. While interviewing McCune, Troopers detected an odor of alcohol. After field sobriety tests, McCune was placed under arrest and transported to SP Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .13 was obtained. A computer check showed McCune’s license to be revoked and that he had two prior convictions for DWI within the last ten years. McCune was arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail pending bail recommendation for the District Attorney.
FALCONER-Julie K. Stutzman, 37, of Falconer was charged Friday with second-degree forgery and fourth-degree grand larceny following an investigation into a $1,200 forged check from an area business. Stutzman was arraigned in Busti Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Charles H. Monroe, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 2:39 a.m., officers on patrol in the area of Cherry Street and West Third Street observed Monroe starting a fist fight with another subject. Monroe was taken into custody and transported to the city jail, where he was charged for fighting in public. He is being held on bail.
Tyler J. Langworthy, 21, of Jamestown, received multiple charges following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 12:11 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on East Second Street, near Buffalo Street, for speeding. Further investigation revealed that the driver, Langworthy, was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated without incident and transported to the city jail. Langworthy was charged with DWI, DWI per se, speed in zone, unsafe tires, broken windshield and violation of open container laws. He is currently awaiting arraignment by the city court.

HANOVER – Hannah K. Jordan, 20, and Nicholas E. Degolier, 21, both of Forestville, were charged following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 1:26 p.m., sheriff’s deputies observed a motor vehicle operating with an expired inspection tag on Allegheny Road. Upon stopping the vehicle, Jordan was identified as the driver of vehicle and a search of the vehicle ensued. During the search, it was found that Jordan and her passenger, Degolier, were in possession of a quantity of marijuana and paraphernalia. Both were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, and Jordan was also cited for having an uninspected motor vehicle. They were released with appearance tickets to appear in Hanover court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK – Thomas E. Taggart, 59, of Silver Creek, was charged Saturday with unsafely moving from lane, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At approximately 1:58 a.m., sheriff’s deputies observed a white pickup truck move unsafely from the driving lane on Main Street. Upon investigation, Taggart was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was subsequently charged, issued traffic tickets and released to a sober party. Taggart will appear in Silver Creek court at a later date.
POMFRET – Mary Kujawa, 56, of Dunkirk, was charged Saturday following an incident which allegedly occurred June 8 on Berry Road. She was charged with second-degree harassment, second-degree trespassing and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Kujawa was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges in Pomfret court at a later date.

DUNKIRK-Daniel P. Briggs, 47, of Dunkirk was charged Tuesday with failure to keep right, failure to signal, unsafe lane change, failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated and DWI-Per Se. At approximately 7:41 p.m., deputies on patrol observed a southbound vehicle on Main Street in Dunkirk allegedly commit several lane violations. Investigations revealed that the driver-Briggs-was intoxicated. He will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.
BROCTON-Robert J. Mangus Jr., 33, of Dunkirk was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. At approximately 9 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a tip indicating Mangus Jr. was in Brocton. Mangus Jr. was wanted in Dunkirk on a second-degree domestic violence harassment warrant. He was arrested and turned over to the city. He is being held without bail.
FORESTVILLE – Gregory Shain, 31, of Forestville was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child following disturbance. Just before 9 p.m. deputies responded to an Eagle Street residence, and following an investigation, alleged Shain assaulted and harassed two individuals. Shain was arraigned in the Town of Hanover Court where he was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

RIPLEY-James E. Chambers, 41, of Ripley was charged Thursday with 1 count of fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and 1 count of unlawfully growing marijuana after a search warrant was executed by the New York State Police BCI, CNET and uniformed members from the State Police stations in Jamestown and Fredonia at a 4156 Sinden Road barn in Ripley. A marijuana grow operation with a number of plants was located within the barn. In addition, a quantity of processed marijuana was also secured. Chambers will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Michael J. Miller, of Salamanca was charged Tuesday with criminal sale of untaxed cigarettes and criminal tax fraud. At approximately 9:10 a.m., Miller was stopped for speeding after passing a marked patrol vehicle on Interstate 86 in North Harmony. During the traffic stop, a full case of Seneca brand cigarettes was observed sitting on the passenger’s side seat of Miller’s vehicle. Investigation revealed that Miller was illegally transporting the cigarettes with no New York State tax stamps or paperwork. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

Lindsay L. Ristau, 33, was charged on May 24 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content more than .18 percent, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failing to stop at a stop sign. At approximately 3:58 a.m., police reported to a vehicle accident and determined that the driver – Ristau – was intoxicated.

Timothy J. Banach, 55, of Cassadaga and Michael W. Foster, 50, of Cassadaga were charged on May 23 with petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy. Police responded to Wegmans after the above subjects walked out of the store without paying for $501.94 worth of groceries. A store employee confronted the men and recovered the property. The men fled, but were later located. They will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Michael Markovich, 30, of Falconer was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct after a complaint of loud music. Markovich will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Jennifer P. Haer, 33, of Falconer was charged Tuesday with second-degree reckless endangerment. At approximately 1:40 a.m., police were dispatched to a Falconer residence for an unwanted subject. Investigation revealed that Haer engaged in an argument inside a residence with a male subject and then pushed him down a flight of stairs, making him lose consciousness. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail, and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Patrick Montgomery, 25, of Ann Arbor, Mich., was charged Monday with driving while ability impaired with drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. Michael M. Frasier, 22, of Ann Arbor, Mich., was charged Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were traveling in a vehicle on Interstate 86 in North Harmony. After being stopped for speeding and interviewing Montgomery, New York State Police detected an odor of marijuana. With the assistance of K-9 Kubi, Troopers seized a marijuana grinder and a quantity of marijuana in a bag along with some Adderall pills from the center console. A check of the bag in the backseat led to the discovery of 14 grams of marijuana secreted in a shoe. Both subjects were transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing and issued appearance tickets returnable to North Harmony Court.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
ASHFORD – Benjamin G. Rager, 30, was charged Sunday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, ignition interlock and speed in zone. At approximately 2:34 a.m., Rager was stopped by a Sheriff’s patrol on Route 219 in Ashford for speeding. Investigation revealed that Rager had a revoked license for a past driving while intoxicated offense and was operating the vehicle without an ignition interlock. He will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.
OLEAN – Joseph M. Phillips, 25, of Olean was charged Sunday with violation of a probation warrant issued out of the Cattaraugus County Supreme Court. He was transported to the county jail.
PERRYSBURG – Donald T. Richards, 65, of South Dayton was charged Friday with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, felony DWI, failure to maintain lane and unsafe left turn after deputies responded to a one-car accident on Edwards Corners Road in Perrysburg. Investigation revealed that Richards failed to make a left turn and entered a ditch. He will appear in Perrysburg Court at a later date.

BROCTON – Christopher A. Moore, 33, of Fredonia was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. At approximately 2:41 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle cross the center lines while traveling westbound on West Main Street in Brocton. An investigation revealed that the driver – Moore – was intoxicated. He refused to submit a breath test. He was transported to county jail in lieu of bail.
ELLICOTT – Dustin D. Bloom, 29, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right. At approximately 1:41 a.m., Bloom was stopped for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed that Bloom was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Alexander Santiago, 39, and Raymond Santiago-Rodriguez, 40, both of Dunkirk were charged on May 23 with petit larceny. Both subjects reportedly stole merchandise from the Lakewood Sears and concealed it in their clothes. When store employees tried to speak with them, they fled into the woods along Mall Boulevard. Police conducted a search and later located them. They were transported to the county jail.
Neftali Vellon-Benitez, 33, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with violation of probation for second-degree unlawful surveillance. Vellon-Benitez was arrested at Jamestown Probation by the Jamestown Police Department and turned over to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department on a probation warrant issued out of Busti. He was arraigned and posted $450 bail.

Merle F. Wright II, 42, of Jamestown was charged Monday with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI of .18 percent or higher, speed in zone, inadequate muffler and failure to keep right. At approximately 10:45 p.m., officers observed a red vehicle speeding east on East Sixth Street from Prendergast Avenue with a loud muffler. The vehicle then turned onto Lakeview Avenue and continually crossed the center line into traffic. Investigation revealed that the driver – Wright – was intoxicated. He also had a revoked driver’s license for a previous failure to submit a chemical test. He was transported to the city jail without incident.
Patrick J. Blakemore, 35, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment. At approximately 11:57 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Crescent Street for a report of an unwanted person causing a disturbance. Officers determined that Blakemore had come over uninvited, forced his way into the residence and punched a resident in the face. He was taken into custody and transported to the city jail.

SHERMAN-Michael A. Vanevery, 29, of Sherman was charged Monday with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and refusal to take chemical test. At approximately 7:30 a.m., a 911 call was made from the Vanevery residence in Findley Lake. Kristi Vanevery called to report that her husband left the residence with a shotgun to assault another male that resides in the area. Her husband-Michael Vanevery-gave himself up upon the arrival of deputies and the New York State Police. Investigation revealed that Vanevery drove a vehicle intoxicated. He also had a previous DWI charge from 2011 and a revoked license. He was committed to county jail.
FRENCH CREEK-Thomas L. Mount, 65, of Northeast, Pa., was arrested Thursday for second-degree criminal contempt. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on May 29 in which Mount allegedly failed to obey an order of protection.
HANOVER-David S. Thompson, 25, of Depew and John R. Rutherford, 31, of Depew were both charged with public urination Sunday. At approximately 12:46 p.m., Hanover residents observed the above subjects urinating besides a business on routes 5 and 20. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

Tyshaw L. Lovines, 21, of Buffalo was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Devon D. Rodgers, 27, of Buffalo was also taken into custody on a valid arrest warrant for second-degree robbery. At approximately 9 a.m., officers dispatched to the area of 815 E. Second St. for possible drug activity in the area. Officers arrived on scene and performed a street check on Lovines, who had an illegal switchblade knife. While he was taken into custody, officers found a quantity of crack cocaine in his possession. Rodgers was arrested on a warrant out of the Cheektowaga Police Department. He is being held at the city jail. Tyshaw is being held without bail.
Michael J. Dove Jr., 38, of Jamestown was charged Monday with third-degree assault. At approximately 12:46 a.m., police responded to South Main Street for a past tense domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Dove had punched and slapped a female victim multiple times in the face. Officers located him on Howard Street. He was transported to city jail. The female victim was transported to WCA Hospital for an injury to her right eye.
David W. Swart, 55, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI Per Se, failure to use a turn signal and avoiding an intersection. At approximately 8:46 p.m., officers dispatched to 1635 W. Third St. for a possible intoxicated driver leaving the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and observed the vehicle leaving the parking lot and failing to use a turn signal. The driver-Swart-was found to be intoxicated. He was transported to city jail.

FREWSBURG-James E. Kidder, 44, of Frewsburg was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. At approximately 7:20 p.m., Jamestown State Troopers responded to a report of an erratic driver on Water Street in Frewsburg who had struck a mailbox and forced a vehicle off the road. Troopers located the vehicle and placed Kidder under arrest after field sobriety tests. Kidder was transported to SP Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .26 was obtained. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
RANDOLPH-Jesse R. Albares, 24, of North Tonawanda was charged Saturday with DWI after a traffic stop on Torrence Road in Randolph for an inadequate tail lamp. Albares was transported to SP Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .19 was obtained. He will appear in Randolph Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.

Lee A. Osborne, 49, of Jamestown was charged Saturday following reports of a past-tense domestic incident. On Saturday, officers responded to a North Main Street address for the reported incident, which was said to have taken place at approximately 1 a.m. Thursday. Upon investigation, officers learned that Osborne had taken a shirt belonging to a female victim and lit the shirt on fire while inside the residence. Osborne then threw the shirt in the lawn, pouring gasoline on the shirt and causing it to be destroyed. The female victim was not injured during the incident. Osborne was located a short time later and was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with fifth-degree arson, and is currently being held at the city jail pending arraignment.
Timothy A. Blakeslee Jr., 25, of Jamestown received multiple charges following an incident which took place at approximately 9:40 p.m. Saturday. Officers responded to 1061 E. Second St. to assist EMS with a lifeline activation. Upon arrival, officers located Blakeslee, who had a valid arrest warrant out of Jamestown City Court. Blakeslee attempted to run out of his apartment after he was advised that he was being placed under arrest. Officers took Blakeslee into custody after a brief struggle, and transported him to city jail. He was charged with the prior second-degree harassment arrest warrant, as well as resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. He is being held at the city jail pending arraignment.
Mark A. Larson, 57, of Jamestown was charged with speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right and felony driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident Saturday. At 9:03 p.m., officers and the Jamestown Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident, which took place on Cole Avenue, across from Fletcher Elementary School. The incident was reported as a personal injury accident where a motorist struck a tree head-on. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Larson, had been traveling in an eastbound direction when he lost control of his 2002 Jeep Liberty. The vehicle then swerved from its lane to the other side of the road, where it jumped the curb and struck a tree. While investigating the scene, officers observed several open containers in the vehicle, while Larson appeared to be intoxicated. Larson was in need of medical attention, and was transported by Alstar Ambulance Services to WCA Hospital. While at the hospital, Larson consented to a blood draw, which was sent to the NYS Police Crime Laboratory to determine his blood alcohol concentration. His driver’s license indicated a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years, resulting in a felony charge. Larson was later released from the hospital, and transported to city jail, where he was charged and is awaiting arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Louis R. LaLonde, 69, of Lakewood was charged with following too closely and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident following an incident that took place at 1:36 p.m. Saturday. According to reports, a Jamestown woman was attempting to turn right into Northwest Savings Bank on Fairmount Avenue when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle being driven by LaLonde. The victim’s vehicle was pushed approximately 40 feet into the Northwest Savings Bank parking lot, while LaLonde fled the scene. A witness to the accident followed LaLonde until police were able to stop him. Both parties were taken to WCA Hospital. LaLonde will report to Busti Town Court at a later date.
BUSTI – Donovan R. Berry, 30, of Sugar Grove, Pa., received multiple charges following a traffic stop occurring Saturday morning. At approximately 3:17 a.m., a Lakewood-Busti police officer was patrolling Forest Avenue Extension, when he observed a vehicle cross the center line of the roadway multiple times. The officer stopped the vehicle, which was found to be operated by Berry. Upon investigation, Berry was found to be allegedly intoxicated, and his privileges to operate a motor vehicle in New York state were found to have been suspended. Berry was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings. He will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – George E. Bazzle, 57, of Ripley was charged with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment following an incident which took place Friday evening. At approximately, 9:45 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to report of fighting on North Main Street in Ripley. Upon arrival and investigation, it was found that Bazzle had struck another individual with a metal pipe several times during the fight. Bazzle was taken into custody and charged, and will appear in Ripley Town Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK – Glen A. Smith, 49, of Depew was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test following a traffic stop Saturday evening. At approximately 8:44 p.m., sheriff’s deputies and the Dunkirk Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle accident in the town of Dunkirk. Upon arrival and investigation, it was found that Smith had been operating his motorcycle while intoxicated, and rear-ended a vehicle that was in front of him while traveling on Route 5. Smith was charged, and will appear in Dunkirk Town Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – Kenneth W. Brightman, 27, of Sherman was charged Friday with third-degree arson and fourth-degree conspiracy. Terri L. Seekings, 46, of Sherman was charged Friday with third-degree arson and fourth-degree conspiracy. On Feb. 24, 2010, a vehicle fire was reported in Sherman where a 2010 Mercury Mariner vehicle suffered fire damage to its interior. Approximately a week later, the Sheriff’s Office was advised that the fire in question was intentionally set for insurance money. Investigators opened an investigation on this fire and learned that Seekings burned the vehicle. Seekings conspired with Brightman to have the vehicle burned, so she could benefit from insurance money. The investigation found that Brightman intentionally set the fire. Brightman was committed to county jail in liue of bail. Seekings was released on her own recognizance.

BUSTI – John W. Collopy, 71, of Ashville was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct at approximately 3:45 p.m. It is alleged that Collopy threw an egg at an Amish buggy and caused damage to a pair of sunglasses in the buggy. Collopy also used obscene language in a public area.
David F. Compton, 55, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI Per Se. At approximately 10:38 p.m., an officer on Hunt Road observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed. Upon stopping the vehicle, police determined that the driver-Compton-was intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT – Pierre N. Morgan, 30, and James E. Pittman Jr., 23, both of Buffalo, were charged on May 25 with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. On May 25, police responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle in Falconer. It is alleged that Morgan and Pittman Jr. took a vehicle from a Falconer residence without the owner’s consent. Both were being held at the county jail for separate charges. They were remanded back to the jail on bail.

Jermaine A. Gordon, 26, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unnecessary noise. At approximately 8:05 p.m., officers responded to 6 Hedges Ave. for a domestic dispute. Officers were advised by a third party that the male and female tenant were fighting. Officers could hear a male yelling from outside and made contact with Gordon, who refused to cooperate with officers by refusing to open the door and not allowing officers to interview the female victim. Gordon was transported to city jail without incident.

LITTLE VALLEY – Cory R. Durrance, 37, of Little Valley was charged on May 30 with two counts of second-degree harassment and trespassing. He was arrested on a warrant issues out of Little Valley Court. He was remanded to the county jail with bail set at $500.
SALAMANCA – Hunter R. Tallchief, 23, of Salamanca was charged Wednesday with trespass and resisting arrest. At approximately 2:30 a.m., deputies responded to an address on Old Route 17 in Salamanca to investigate a trespass complaint. After locating Tallchief on the property, deputies attempted an arrest, but he began to run and attempted to fight them. Hunter will appear in Salamanca Court. Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Seneca National Marshals.

Christopher L. Freeney, 44, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree menacing. At approximately 11:30 p.m., officers were called to the area of Apple Yard Terrace Apartments, located at 608 E. Second St. for a reported fight involving multiple subjects with baseball bats. Officers spoke to a female victim who stated that her vehicle was struck with a baseball bat by Freeney, causing felony damage to the vehicle. The victim also stated that Freeney menaced her with a baseball bat. Freeney was transported to city jail without bail and is pending arraignment.

Joshua D. Doud, 32, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Police responded to a domestic dispute in progress, where it was alleged that Doud struck and pushed a female victim in the presence of their 1-year-old daughter. Doud will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. Ellicott Police were assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police.

Jeremy D. Russo, 37, of Warren, Pa., was charged Wednesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, insufficient tail lamps, improper use of plates, unregistered motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle. At approximately 12:09 a.m., an officer on Baker Street Extension in Busti observed a vehicle with insufficient tail lamps. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer determined that the driver – Russo – had improper license plates on his vehicle, insufficient tail lamps, an unregistered vehicle, an uninsured vehicle and a suspended license. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
OLEAN – Hattie R. Cooper, 53, of Olean was charged Friday with fifth-degree welfare fraud, petit larceny and one count of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. Cooper is accused of failing to report income and her previous disqualification for fraud on her application to the Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services from November 2013 to April 2014. Cooper received $17 in SNAP that she was not entitled to receive.
OLEAN – Alexander G. Carpenter, 21, of Allegany was charged on May 27 with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. More charges are pending the completion of the investigation. Carpenter was arraigned in Olean Court where bail was set at $200.
SALAMANCA – Rhonda L. Porter, 47, of Salamanca was arrested on May 28 on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Salamanca Court. She was remanded to county jail without bail.
EAST OTTO – Samantha J. Lilley, 29, of Yorkshire was arrested on May 21 for violation of probation from East Otto Court. She will appear in East Otto Court at a later date.
ASHFORD – Joshua B. Holdsworth, 33, of North Collins was charged on May 28 with third-degree criminal mischief following an incident that occurred at 6087 Thomas Corner Road in Ashford. He is due back in Ashford Court at a later date.
COLDSPRING – Daniel D. Visker, 28, of Steamburg was charged on May 23 with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and failure to signal turn after a traffic stop on Railroad Avenue in Coldspring. He is due back in Coldspring Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Christopher Vega, 19, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, resisting arrest, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlicensed operation. Amanda Acevedo, 28, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with two counts of resisting arrest, obstructing governmental adminstration and second-degree harassment. At approximately 12:28 a.m., officers observed Vega operating a motor vehicle while having a suspended license. When officers attempted to stop him, Vega attempted to flee inside a home. He was apprehended before he was able to make it inside. Vega refused to comply with officers and had to by physically subdued. During the arrest, Acevedo emerged from a nearby home and began to pull at Vega, trying to free him. Acevedo tried to flee back inside, but was arrested. Both of them continued their combative actions as they were placed inside the patrol car. Acevedo reportedly kicked one of the officers. They were transported to city jail.
Fred J. Levy, 35, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute at 106 W. Eighth St. Officers spoke with a female victim who alleged that Levy kicked her television, threw it downstairs and put it out in the yard while it was raining. The television was significantly damaged. Levy was transported to city jail.
CARROLL POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jack E. Smith Jr., 17, and Tristin J. Johnson, 18, both of Frewsburg, were charged May 21 with third-degree criminal trespass, endangering the welfare of a child and petit larceny. At approximately 12:40 a.m., officers observed the above subjects trespassing on private property for the purpose of stealing metal products to sell as scrap for their own benefit. Several items had already been moved in or near their car at the time police discovered their illegal activity. Smith Jr. and Johnson were alerted to an officer’s presence by a third participant who will be petitioned to Family Court as a juvenile. Smith Jr. and Johnson were committed to county jail pending bail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Joshua C. Warner, 28, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to stop at stop sign. A 17-year-old youth was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 12:03 a.m., an officer on Forest Avenue Extension observed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign. The driver – Warner – was found in possession of marijuana. His 17-year-old passenger also had a small amount of marijuana. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Maurice E. Turner, 64, of Olean was charged Monday with failure to register with New York State. At approximately 12:40 p.m., deputies arrested Turner on a warrant issued out of Portville Court for failing to register as a sex offender. He was remanded to county jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

HANOVER-Michael G. Weber, 51, of Irving was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, failure to take a pre-screen and failure to use a turn signal. At approximately 3 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Ann Street in Hanover for an observed violation. Investigation revealed that the driver-Weber-was intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
KIANTONE-Raymond O. Camacho, 18, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, unlicensed operator and unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 9:15 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Kiantone Road for traffic violations. Investigation revealed that the driver-Camacho-was impaired by drugs. He will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.
FORESTVILLE-A 17-year-old female youth from Forestville was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 8:05 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Water Street for the report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that a female youth had damaged property belonging to another individual. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
ARKWRIGHT-Joshua D. Ellis, 24, of Forestville was charged Wednesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. At approximately 6:13 p.m., Ellis was stopped on Bard Road for operating with a revoked license. Ellis’ license was confirmed revoked through the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. He will appear in Arkwright Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Corey A. Wells, 26, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 4 p.m., officers responded to Tops Markets on Foote Avenue for a shoplifting report. Employees at Tops observed a male subject exit the store with several items in a cart that he did not purchase. Officers located the suspect a short time later on Tower Street. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to city jail.
David Rodriguez, 22, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and resisting arrest. At approximately 9:50 p.m., officers responded to a reported fight at 328 Allen St. Officers learned that Rodriguez allegedly became angry and threw a bicycle at a subject who was holding a young child. He also allegedly threw other items resulting in a broken television. Rodriguez then threatened another subject with a knife before walking away police said. Officers located Rodriguez a short distance away. He struggled during his arrest, but was eventually taken into custody. He was transported to city jail where he was awaiting arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Christine M. Redding, 34, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At approximately 3:51 p.m., Redding was detained at the Lakewood Sears after she allegedly stole a pair of Sketchers shoes. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
SALAMANCA-Bridget M. Bardo, 31, of Conewango and Andrew J. Jaquish, 28, of Salamanca were charged Wednesday in connection with a complaint of an unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers located the vehicle in Randolph and arrested Bardo – the driver- for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. The passenger- Jaquish- was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and after further investigation was found to have an active warrant out of Jamestown Court. Jaquish was arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $1,000. Bardo was issued appearance tickets returnable to Randolph Court and released.

BEMUS POINT-Daniel P. Freeburg, 39, of Union City, Pa. was charged Sunday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI Per Se with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 2 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in Bemus Point. Investigation revealed that the driver-Freeburg-was intoxicated. He was also in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA-Kelley D. Nephew, 53, of Gowanda was charged Sunday with failing to keep right, driving while intoxicated, and DWI Per Se with BAC of .08 percent or higher. At approximately 3:44 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for crossing over the center line of the roadway. The driver-Nephew-was found to be intoxicated. She will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
STOCKTON-Timothy J. Banach, 55, of Stockton was charged Thursday with two felony driving while intoxicated county court warrants. At approximately 7 p.m., deputies observed a Banach in a vehicle on Stockton Cassadaga Road in Stockton. Deputies knew Banach to have several outstanding felony warrants. Deputies attempted to stop Banach and a male driver. The two males drove into a yard off of Stockton Cassadaga Road. Banach exited the vehicle and attempted to elude arrest. He eventually surrendered to a K9 unit. Banach is being held at Chautauqua County Jail without bail at this time. Further charges may be pending.
HANOVER-Sandra L. Benkelman, 72, of South Dayton was charged on May 28 with failure to yield right of way and driver’s view obstructed. At approximately 6:09 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Route 39 and Hanover Road for the report of a personal injury motor vehicle accident. Deputies determined that Benkelman had entered the intersection and struck a vehicle on Route 39 being operated by James Kirkham, 50, of West Falls. Both drivers were transported by Forestville Fire Department to Lake Shore Hospital for minor injuries.
SILVER CREEK-Robert J. Mangus Jr., 33, of Fredonia was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a stolen weapon, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no driver seatbelt. At approximately 8:53 a.m., deputies observed a subject driving without a seatbelt on Washington Street in Silver Creek. Investigation revealed that the driver-Mangus-had suspended driving privileges and was in possession of a switchblade knife. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
HANOVER-Kacie L. Johnson, 21, of West Seneca was charged Sunday with local law possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At approximately 2:07 p.m., deputies on South Shore Drive in Sunset Bay observed a female in a vehicle consuming alcohol. Johnson was found to be in possession of open containers of alcohol in a vehicle on a public highway. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Bruce L. Miller, 23, of Jamestown was charged Friday with parking on the highway, open container in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI Per Se. At approximately 2:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Cook and Fairmount avenues for a possible intoxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle in question parked on Lakin Street near Fairmount Avenue in the middle of the road. The driver-Miller-was intoxicated. Miller was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. He was transported to the city jail.
Amanda R. Whitford, 20, of Youngsville was charged Sunday with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and public consumption of alcohol. At approximately 4:30 a.m., Whitford possessed a case of beer and walked out of a store without purchasing it. Officer responded to the scene and found Whitford with the beer a short distance away. She was transported to city jail.
Dwayne A. Smith, 46, of Kennedy was charged Friday with public lewdness and third-degree tampering. At approximately 5:40 p.m., officers responded to the area of Falconer and Brown streets for a report of a male urinating on the Jamestown Police Department speed enforcement trailer. Officer located Smith a short distance away after being identified by a witness. Smith was transported to the city jail.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Shamori L. Houston, 33, of Falconer was charged on May 28 with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Police responded to a domestic incident and determined that Houston had tried to push a victim down the stairs while making a comment that he was going to shoot the residence up. This was all reportedly done in front of a 3-year-old child. Houston was arraigned in Ellicott Court, but posted bail and was released.
Carrie A. Paul, 19, of Falconer was charged on May 25 with third-degree falsely reporting an incident. Paul filed a police report of a violation of an order of protection with the police. An investigation determined that the report was false. Paul will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Richard C. Neal, 29, of Jamestown was charged on May 27 with endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault. Upon arriving at a reported domestic assault, officers determined Neal had assaulted his girlfriend while she was driving her vehicle on East Livingston Avenue. Neal’s two children were in the vehicle during the incident. The victim was able to get out of the car and call 911. Neal fled the area on foot, but was picked up on an arrest warrant in Westfield. He was arraigned and transported to jail with a bail set at $5,000/$10,000.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
David Giarrizzo, 26, of Chagin Fall, Ohio, was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 11:59 p.m., an officer responded to 2372 Lakeside Drive in Busti for a noise complaint. Investigation revealed that Giarrizzo was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Hillary E. Danforth, 22, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 6:30 p.m., Danforth allegedly stole $12.56 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is also alleged that Danforth damaged the property while concealing the items. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Ashley R. McBride, 30, of Jamestown was charged on May 29 with petit larceny. At approximately 8:45 p.m., McBride allegedly stole $99.50 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She will appear in Bust Court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
CHAUTAUQUA-Ronald C. Schneider, 67, of Mayville was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right after he was observed swerving over the center line of Route 394, causing a traffic stop to be initiated. An odor of alcohol was detected and after field sobriety tests, Schneider was placed under arrest and transported to SP Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .12 was obtained. Schneider was issued tickets and will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.
RANDOLPH- Philip J. Baxter, 51, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief after an investigation into a report of damage to property in Randolph. Baxter was arrested after driving across a lawn and causing damage. He was processed at SP Jamestown and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Randolph Court and released.
