CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Bryan H. Fish, 23, of Mayville was charged Sunday with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, speed in zone and refusal to submit breath screening. At approximately 2:21 a.m., deputies observed Fish traveling at a high rate of speed on Sea Lion Drive in Mayville. Fish was found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Devin D. Scagnelli, 18, of Depew was charged Sunday with open container, underage possession of alcohol and littering. At approximately 5:15 p.m., deputies were on patrol in Sunset Bay and observed Scagnelli was in possession of an open container of alcohol. Scagnelli discarded the container on the ground and left the immediate area. An investigation determined that he was under 21. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

ELLICOTT – Brooke A. Pierce, 21, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated and speeding after a traffic stop for speeding on Route 430 in Ellicott at about 8:30 p.m. While interviewing Pierce, State Police detected an odor of alcohol. After a field test, Pierce was placed under arrest for DWI. Pierce was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .16 was obtained. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. Pierce was released to a third party.

RANDOLPH – Timothy C. Johnson, 52, of Gerry was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and speeding after a traffic stop for speeding on I-86 in Randolph. Johnson was placed under arrest for DWI after field sobriety tests and was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .11 was obtained. He was arraigned in Randolph Court and committed to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

Charles L. Marshall Jr., 43, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and no/inadequate lights after a traffic stop for no headlight on Water Street in Jamestown. The patrol detected a strong odor of alcohol and placed Marshall under arrest for DWI after field tests. Marshall was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .19 was obtained. He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in Jamestown Court. Marshall was released to a third party.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER-A 19-year-old male from Clarence was charged Monday with possession of alcohol under 21 years of age. At approximately 2 p.m., deputies were on foot patrol in Sunset Bay and found the above subject allegedly in possession of an alcoholic beverage. The youth will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER-An 18-year-old male from Tonawanda was charged Monday with possession of alcohol under 21 years of age. At approximately 2:25 p.m., deputies were on foot patrol in Sunset Bay and found the above subject allegedly in possession of an alcoholic beverage. The youth will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Derrick Scheelar, 31, of West Seneca; and Kayla Kmitch, 24, of Orchard Park were charged Monday with open container in a public place. At approximately 2:30 p.m., deputies were on foot patrol on South Shore Drive in Sunset Bay and found the above subjects allegedly in possession of an alcoholic beverage. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Alicia Godfrey, 23, of Cheektowaga; Elizabeth Palmeri, 23, of Depew; and Richard Marr, 24, of Depew were all charged Monday with open container in a motor vehicle. At approximately 2:45 p.m., deputies were on foot patrol on Allegany Road in Sunset Bay and found the above subjects allegedly in possession of open containers of alcoholic beverages in a car parked in a public parking lot. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

SHERIDAN-John E. Swogger, 57, of Sheridan was charged Tuesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and failure to keep right. At approximately 3 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for an observed violation on Middle Road in Sheridan. Investigation determined that the driver-Swogger-had a revoked New York state driver’s license. Swogger had numerous revocations that were due to prior alcohol-related traffic offenses. He will appear in Sheridan Court on a later date.

RIPLEY-Joseph E. Gross, 54, of Ripley was charged May 22 with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. At approximately 8:35 p.m., deputies responded to Route 20 in Ripley for a disturbance in a vehicle. Investigation determined that the driver-Gross-was intoxicated. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

HANOVER-A 17-year-old female from Niagara Falls was charged Monday with possession of alcohol under 21 years of age. At approximately 1:25 p.m., deputies were on foot patrol on Allegany Road in Sunset Bay found the above subject allegedly in possession of an alcoholic beverage. The youth will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

SHERIDAN-William J. Barnes, 53, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At approximately 2 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 20 in Sheridan. It was determined that the driver-Barnes-was intoxicated. He will appear in Sheridan Court on a later date.

SILVER CREEK-Brittany N. Deloe, 24, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct. At approximately 10:15 p.m., deputies were at a residence investigating a disturbance when Deloe became irate and started to scream obscenities while she was outside of the residence. During the incident, she shoved a deputy multiple times. She also resisted arrest while being placed into custody. She will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Curtis D. Wood, 47, of Panama was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speeding. At approximately 8:10 p.m., deputies stopped Wood for traveling on Route 474 at a high rate of speed. Investigation determined that Wood was intoxicated. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

HANOVER-A 19-year-old female youth from Niagara Falls was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. An 18-year-old male youth from Sloan was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. A 19-year-old female youth from Cheektowaga was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and false personation. Justin C. Donnarmma, 22, of Wellsville was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. A 19-year-old female was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana and false personation. At approximately 3:40 a.m., deputies received a call of an underage party on Iola Drive in Hanover. Deputies went into the residence and found a small quantity of marijuana. Upon investigation, three 19-year-old females, an 18-year-old and Donnarmma were charged. One female gave a false name and another gave the wrong date of birth. All will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Patricia Brown, 78, of Orchard Park was charged Sunday with failure to yield the right of way making a left turn. Investigation into an accident revealed that Brown was eastbound and making a left turn when she allegedly pulled in front of another vehicle, causing a collision. Brown was transported to Lake Shore Hospital for minor injuries.

CHAUTAUQUA-Troy D. Hess, 42, of Mayville was charged Monday with trespass. At approximately 6:30 a.m., Hess knowingly and unlawfully trespassed on the property of 5988 Elmwood Road in Mayville. Hess went to the above residence multiple times throughout the morning and started an argument with one of the residents. He was committed to the county jail with $500 bail or $1,000 property bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

DEPARTMENT

Santiago Meneses, 51, of Jamestown was charged Monday with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree strangulation, second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. Police were called to 154 Chautauqua Ave. for a report of a domestic incident. Meneses was located at the residence where a female lived. The female had an order of protection against him. Investigation revealed that Meneses choked, pushed and punched the female. He also displayed a hammer during the incident.

Garrett S. Rasmussen, 27, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to dim high beams, obstructed license plate and failure to keep right. At approximately 2:25 a.m., a police officer on patrol on Baker Street Extension observed a westbound vehicle that failed to dim its high beams, failed to keep right and had an obstructed license plate. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer determined that the driver-Rasmussen-was intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Melodie G. Dyson, 61, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with no/inadequate headlights, driving while intoxicated and DWI Per Se. At approximately 2:30 a.m., police on a DWI patrol observed a vehicle on West Main Street traveling without headlights on. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers determined that the driver-Dyson-was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. Dyson had a BAC twice the legal limit.

Ashley N. Porter, 23, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. Police investigated a complaint of a possible intoxicated operator leaving a business in West Ellicott. The suspected vehicle was observed committing vehicle and traffic infractions. Investigation revealed that the driver-Porter-was intoxicated. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Jeremy G. R. Dossey, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and failure to obey a stop sign. At approximately 2:24 a.m. Saturday, sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle pass through the intersection of Newland Avenue and Maple Street without stopping. The vehicle was stopped, and the operator was identified as Dossey – who was found to be intoxicated. Dossey will answer the charges in the Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Brian E. Truax II, 30, of Jamestown, was charged following an incident which took place Saturday. At approximately 3:05 a.m., deputies stopped a car on Sixth Street. Upon investigation, the driver, Truax, was found to be intoxicated. He was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. A record check showed Truax had a conviction for driving while intoxicated within the past 10 years, making the incident a felony. He was charged with improper turn, no turn signal, felony DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana. Truax was issued tickets to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Andrew W. Bankowski, 61, of Buffalo, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop Sunday morning. At approximately 12:26 a.m., Bankowski was charged during an Operation Crackdown stationary road check on Routes 5 and 20 in the Town of Hanover. Sheriff’s deputies completed a further investigation roadside after initial contact with Bankowski, during which he was found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated. He was released and will appear in court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Dylan M. Abbey, 21, of Lakewood, received several charges stemming from an incident Saturday. At approximately 3:13 p.m., Abbey was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. After a brief investigation by officers, which uncovered that Abbey was in possession of an amount of heroin and a hypodermic needle, Abbey was taken into custody and transported to Lakewood-Busti police station for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket and transferred to the custody of Jamestown Police Department due to having warrants outside of the city.

Dawn D. Maurer, of Fair Lawn, N.J., was charged with second-degree harassment for allegedly injuring a female, and attempting to take her phone when she tried to call the police. Maurer was issued a ticket to appear in the Busti Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Robert E. Mitchell, 46, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with five counts of possession of a forged instrument, five counts of second-degree forgery, three counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. At approximately 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Northwest Savings Bank, located at 1 W. Third St., for a subject inside attempting to cash stolen checks. Officers spoke with bank personnel upon arrival. Bank personnel contacted the owner of the checks who reported them stolen in Ellicott. While taking Mitchell into custody, officers found a checkbook and three credit cards that were also reported stolen by the same victim. Officers also found four checks that Mitchell had forged a signature on with the intent to cash for a financial gain. Mitchell was transported to city jail and is pending arraignment.

Isaiah T. Pearson, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with second-degree criminal trespass. At approximately 12:19 p.m., officers responded to 510 W. Sixth St. for a call of three males fighting. Officers located the victim outside of the residence , while the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect-Pearson-was located at 847 Lafayette St. and transported to city jail without incident. He is being held pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brian J. Hilton, 46, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with trespass. At approximately 2:31 p.m., Hilton was picked up in Jamestown on an outstanding warrant from Busti. On May 9, at approximately 9:15 p.m., it is alleged that Hilton trespassed on Wal-Mart property. He was arraigned in Busti Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled back in court at a later date.

James M. Bolles, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with second-degree harassment. At approximately 10:55 a.m., Bolles was arrested for allegedly striking a car window and threatening a female at 184 E. Fairmount Ave. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

BROCTON – William Petsch Jr, 28, of Portland was arrested Wednesday on a parole violation warrant issued by the New York State Parole Board. Petsch was transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

David D. Johnson, 45, of Jamestown was charged after an investigation determined that he violated an order of protection out of Jamestown Court by contacting the victim on three separate occasions via telephone. Johnson was arraigned and committed to the county jail on $6,000/$12,000 bail. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Gary V. Rasmuessen, 44, of Celoron was charged Monday with third-degree trespass. Officers responded to a trespass complaint at 600 Hunt Road in Ellicott. It was alleged that Rasmuessen trespassed on property after previously being told he was no longer welcome. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Patrick J. Fellows, 18, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Christopher M. Johnson, 21, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the Roseland Park baseball fields for the report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female victim who stated that she was at the park to exchange mutual property with her ex-boyfriend – Fellows. The victim was accompanied by two juvenile males who were involved in the altercation. While exchanging property, Fellows became upset and bit one of the male juveniles on the arm, causing minor injury. During the exchange, Johnson was hiding in the woods and came out threatening to shoot the two juveniles. As the female victim and two juveniles left in their vehicle, Fellows punched the side of the vehicle leaving a dent. Both Fellows and Johnson were located a short time later and transported to city jail. Further investigation revealed that Fellows had an order of protection to stay away from one of the juveniles.

Timothy W. Ellis, 46, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 9:30 a.m., officers were sent to Tops Markets, located at 738 Foote Ave., after store employees caught Ellis shoplifting merchandise. Ellis was transported to city jail where he is pending arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – Alyson M. Seeley, 20, of Olean was arrested Tuesday on a bench warrant issued out of Allegany Court. Seeley was transported to Allegany Court for arraignment and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $250 bail. She will appear in Allegany Court on June 9 at 3 p.m.

COLDSPRING – Vernon D. Pierce Jr., 18, of Steamburg was charged Sunday with third-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest. Investigation revealed that Pierce prevented a victim from leaving his residence during a domestic incident, causing damage to the victim’s cell phone. Pierce was transported to county jail in lieu of $250 bail. He will appear in Coldspring Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA – John D. Newark, 30, of Little Valley was arrested Tuesday after an investigation revealed that the was wanted on a Salamanca City bench warrant for an obstruction charge dating back to 2012. He was turned over to the Salamanca Police Department and will appear in Salamanca City Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RIPLEY – Dale W. Reynolds, 74, of Ripley was charged Monday with first-degree criminal contempt, disorderly conduct and trespass. At approximately 4:33 p.m., Reynolds was arrested from an incident that occurred on May 13. He was located at his residence and taken into custody without incident. He was committed to the county jail in lieu of $10,000/$20,000 bail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sonja M. Lennon, 34, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with third-degree assault. At approximately 12:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the Fluvanna area to assist a female with a head laceration from an alleged fall. Further investigation revealed that the female was in a domestic incident with another female who allegedly threw a coffee mug at her face. Lennon was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

Leon J. Kindt, 47, of Salamanca was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 2:50 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on East Main Street Extension in Falconer for an alleged traffic infraction. Further investigation revealed that the passenger – Kindt – had a valid warrant for his arrest out of the Jamestown Police Department. While police took Kindt into custody, they found a quantity of marijuana on his person. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Edward L. Schlabach, 22, of Mayville; Scott Boardman, 38, of Mayville; and Autumn Boardman, 37, of Mayville were involved in a motor vehicle accident Tuesday. At approximately 12:16 p.m., Scott Boardman was traveling northbound on Route 394 when Schlabach pulled in front of him while exiting the parking lot of Lighthouse Grocery. The vehicles collided and came to a rest in a lawn on the west side of the roadway. Scott Boardman was not injured, but his passenger, Autumn, was flown to UPMC Hamot for non-life-threatening injuries. Schlabach was also flown to UPMC Hamot. Charges are pending further investigation.

CELORON – Nicholas A. Guzda, 25, of Celoron was charged Monday with parole violation and second-degree trespass. At approximately 3:30 p.m., deputies arrested Guzda who was wanted on several warrants from the Jamestown Police and New York State Parole. He was located at his Celoron residence and turned over to Jamestown Police for further court proceedings.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Naequan T. McCray, 21, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speed not reasonable and prudent and failing to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle and multiple other vehicles. At approximately 1:05 a.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed while conducting a traffic stop on another vehicle near Forest and Linden avenues. The speeding vehicle nearly struck an officer and the other vehicle that was pulled over. Officers later stopped the speeding vehicle and took the driver – McCray – into custody. He was transported to city jail without incident.

Fredrick V. Aldrich, 46, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree criminal impersonation, no/inadequate exhaust, unregistered motor vehicle, open container, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and driving while intoxicated. At approximately 10:09 p.m., officers observed a Chevy Blazer with a loud exhaust and expired New York state registration near the area of Foote and Newland avenues. A traffic stop determined that the driver – Aldrich – was intoxicated. During the investigation, Aldrich gave police a false name and date of birth. At the city jail, he also refused to submit a chemical test to determine his blood alcohol concentration.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kimberly Bogey, 42, of Jamestown was charged on May 5 with third-degree grand larceny. Wal-Mart was investigating an internal issue with employees cashing bad checks at the store. Further investigation revealed that Bogey cashed $32,135 in bad checks for non-sufficient funds and with a closed bank account over a two-year period. Bogey reported posted bail.

Amanda L. Darling, 19, and Dylan E. Gibbs, 22, both of Jamestown were charged Monday with petit larceny. At approximately 8:18 p.m., Darling and Gibbs were detained at the Lakewood Wal-Mart after the two were seen placing items into a purse and a diaper bag and tried to leave the store without paying. The merchandise found on them was determined to be worth $252.67. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RANDOLPH – Joshua J. Meachum, 32, of Randolph was charged on May 13 with endangering the welfare of a child. It was determined that Meachum provided alcohol and marijuana to a child less than 17 years old on May 3. The child was reportedly under his supervision. He will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

CHARLOTTE – Christopher Dellahoy, 25, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana after state troopers responded to Pine Acres Trailer Park on Route 60, Cassadaga, to assist EMS with a male subject who had put his arm through a bedroom glass window and was being disorderly. In plain view on the bedroom dresser was a glass smoking pipe containing burnt marijuana residue. Dellahoy admitted it was his pipe.

DUNKIRK – Steven Seavy, 23, of Brocton was arrested Tuesday on an arrest warrant for second-degree harassment-physical contact. The warrant was issued by Brocton Court after an incident that took place on Pullman Street in Brocton on April 25. Seavy was transported to Brocton Court and arraigned. He was released on his own recognizance and is to return to court June 4.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WESTFIELD-Shawn M. Cettell, 26, of Westfield was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment after it was alleged that he made threats to harm other residents in the area. He was arraigned in Westfield Court and released on his own recognizance to the custody of his mother.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

ELLINGTON-Mikol V. Rockwood, 24, of Irving was charged Friday with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation, unlawful dealing with a child (giving/selling alcohol to a person under 21) and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Wade Hill Road in Ellington. Troopers observed a beer can being thrown out of the car. When a strong odor of alcohol was detected coming from the vehicle, Rockwood was given field sobriety tests and placed under arrest for DWI. Rockwood and a 17-year-old passenger were transported to SP Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .13 was obtained from Rockwood. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail with bail pending the District Attorney’s recommendation.

ELLINGTON-Tyler J. Lokietek, 19, of Fredonia was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for failing to stop at a stop on Wade Hill Road in Ellington. Troopers detected an odor of alcohol and conducted sobriety tests, after which Lokietek was placed under arrest. Lokietek was transported to SP Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .10 was obtained. He was issued tickets and will appear in Ellington Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Tashara L. Rhoades, 27, of Russell, Pa., has been charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or higher and speed. At approximately 1:55 a.m. Sunday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on McKay Road. Upon investigation, the operator, Rhoades, was found to be intoxicated. Rhoades was charged and later released. She is scheduled to appear in the Chautauqua Court next month to answer the charges.

WESTFIELD – Shawn M. Cettell, 26, was charged with second-degree harassment and two counts of disorderly conduct following an incident Saturday. At approximately 4:57 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Westfield mobile home park for a harassment complaint. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was found that Cettell had grabbed an individual and threw him from a porch. Deputies observed Cettell urinate on a roadway, as well as yelling and shouting obscenities in the presence of other residents of the mobile home park. Cettell was charged and arraigned, and taken to the Chautauqua Court. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail and $2,000 property bond, and will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

BROCTON – Adam Neubauer, 26, has been charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. At 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, employees at Jamestown Plastics found a subject in their break room stealing food. The subject had broken out a window in the room to gain access inside. The subject jumped back out the window after being seen by employees and fled on foot. Deputies were able to locate the suspect, identified as Neubauer, shortly after the incident. He was arraigned in the Brocton Court, and committed without bail to Chautauqua County Jail.

BUSTI – Robert E. Mitchell, 46, of Cassadaga, was charged with petit larceny following a larceny investigation involving a Samsung cellphone at Wal-Mart. Mitchell was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Busti Court at a later date.

OLEAN – Samuel J. Gross, 42, was arrested Friday on two warrants following a traffic stop by state police. Gross was wanted for fourth-degree grand larceny and family court violation. He was arraigned at Allegany Court, and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $3,250 bail. He is scheduled to appear in the town court and family court at a later date.

HANOVER – Robert K. Shumaker, 33, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment and trespass. At approximately 6:37 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Angell Road in Hanover for the report of a neighbor dispute. Investigation determined that Shumaker trespassed on a male victim’s property and threatened the same victim with physical violence. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

Tina M. Vespro, 40, of Lakewood was charged Wednesday with no/improper signal, failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated per se. At approximately 10:50 p.m., deputies observed a pickup truck on Fairmount Avenue in Jamestown commit several traffic infractions. Following an investigation, it was determined that the driver-Vespro-was intoxicated. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT – Robert E. Mitchell III, 46, of Cassadaga was charged Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to use designated lane and inadequate tail lamps. At approximately 3:08 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle traveling east on Route 394 in Ellicott with a tail lamp out. Officers observed the vehicle driving on the shoulder. Investigation revealed that the driver-Mitchell-was under the influence of drugs. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Dylan C. Hinson, 21, of Greenhurst was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. At approximately 3:03 a.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on East Fifth Street in the city. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers determined that the driver-Hinson-was intoxicated. He was transported to city jail and is due back in city court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jesse T. Swanson, 21, of Falconer was charged on May 1 with petit larceny and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Police received a complaint that Swanson entered a local business and tried to use a debit card that was later reported stolen. Swanson tried using the card, but it was declined. Swanson was remanded to county jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Danielle J. Schimek, 22, of Cherry Creek was charged Thursday with petit larceny and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument at approximately 3:30 p.m. It is alleged that Schimek stole $30.68 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. While processing, he was found to have a hypodermic instrument. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Francyna F. Morin, 41, of Jamestown and Joseph S. Felice Jr., 60, of Jamestown were both charged with petit larceny at approximately 3:32 p.m. It is alleged that both parties entered the Lakewood Wal-Mart together, selected a pair of shoes in the shoe department and replaced them with the shoes they were wearing. As they exited the store they were stopped. Both suspects were issued appearance tickets to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Savannah E. Gross, 21, of Jamestown was charged at her apartment Tuesday with petit larceny. It is alleged that Gross entered the Lakewood Wal-Mart on May 6 and left the store with $419.09 worth of merchandise. She subsequently ran from the store and left in a vehicle. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

GREAT VALLEY – Robert L. Ratzel, 77, of Allegany was charged Tuesday with following too close. The Sheriff’s Office along with Killbuck Fire Department and Salamanca City Fire Department responded to a three-car accident in front of Mikey’s Emporium on Route 417. Investigation revealed that Ratzel rear-ended a vehicle which caused it to rear-end another vehicle. Ratzel will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Mary E. Hetrick, 26, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with speed not reasonable and prudent. At approximately 8:17 p.m., deputies responded with fire department crews to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Panama-Stedman Road in North Harmony. Investigation revealed that Hetrick was traveling southbound on Panama-Stedman Road when she failed to reduce speed on a curve. She lost control and went onto the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle came back onto the pavement, crossed over the center and rolled over an embankment on the east side. The vehicle came to rest on its roof. Hetrick and her three-year-old son were taken to WCA Hospital for minor injuries. The child was taken to Buffalo Women and Children’s Hospital as a precaution. Hetrick will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

ELLINGTON – Xavier A. Berrios, 20, of Dunkirk; Dontae N. Clarke, 20, of Brooklyn; Michael J. Donaldson, 20, of Dunkirk; and Patrick J. Lamattina, 19, of Dunkirk were charged Saturday with unlawful possession of alcohol under 21. At approximately 12:53 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on 28th Creek Road in Ellington. Investigation determined that the four passengers had been consuming alcohol and were in possession of alcoholic beverages. They will appear in Ellington Court at a later date. The female driver was found to have been drinking and was only ticketed for a stop sign violation.

ELLINGTON – Franklin G. Brown, 20, of Salamanca; Jackson R. John, 20, of Great Valley; and Tad P. Battie, 18, of Salamanca were charged Saturday with unlawful possession of alcohol. At approximately 2:07 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on West Main Street in Ellington after observing it fail to signal a turn coming off of 28th Creek Road. A quantity of alcoholic beverages were observed in the vehicle and three passengers admitted ownership and having consumed alcohol. All will appear in Ellington Court at a later date.

FALCONER – Devin W. Powell, 22, of Youngsville, Pa., was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, unlicensed operator and driving without headlights. At approximately 3:29 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on West Main Street in Falconer for operating without headlights. Investigation revealed that the driver – Powell – was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

James P. Voorhees, 41, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child. Shirley M. Lanphere, 38, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At approximately 3:05 p.m., officers responded to an apartment at 30 Terrace Place for a domestic dispute. Neighbors had called the police to advise that they could here a male screaming at a child in the apartment. Upon arrival, officers found Voorhees and a five-year-old female in the apartment. The apartment was found to be in deplorable condition with animal feces and rotting food inside. The child’s mother, Lanphere, arrived on the scene and became disorderly with officers. She grabbed the child by the arm and tried to flee. Officers advised her to stop, but she attempted to push past the officers and resist arrest. Both were taken to city jail. The Department of Development responded to the scene and condemned the apartment. Child Protective Services took placement of the child.

Carl L. Settle, 40, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, operating without headlamps and failure to keep right. At approximately 1:28 a.m., officers observed a vehicle operating without adequate headlamps and failing to keep on the right side of the road. After a traffic stop, it was determined that the driver – Settle – was intoxicated. He was taken to city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ivan T. Bush, 30, of Jamestown was charged Friday with second-degree aggravated harassment. It is alleged that Bush called, harassed and threatened a victim numerous times. He will appear in Ellicott Court at later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jordan T. Adams, 28, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with petit larceny. At approximately 3:33 p.m., a warrant was issued for Adams following an investigation in a larceny at the Sears store in the Chautauqua Mall. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NAPOLI – Jacob G. Winship, 23, of Little Valley was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and trespass. At approximately 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a domestic incident on Pigeon Valley Road in Napoli. Investigation revealed that Winship violated an order of protection. He was remanded to county jail in lieu of bail. He is due back in Napoli Court at a later date.

ALLEGANY – Tyler B. Bell, 21, of Cornwall was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief after allegedly setting off a fire extinguisher in the Francis Hall dorm at St. Bonaventure University. The extinguisher was rendered damaged and the contents were inhaled by a resident who was later transported to Olean General Hospital. Bell will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

OLEAN – Derek S. Ertell, 24, of Olean was arrested Sunday on violation of probation warrant issued out of Olean Court. He was turned over to the Olean Police to await arraignment.

ASHFORD – David Call Jr., 42, of Springville was charged on May 6 with driving while intoxicated third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to keep right and refusal to submit a breath test following an investigation into a vehicle striking a guard rail on Miller Road in Ashford. Call will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING – Kelly M. Jackson, 41, of East Otto was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and failure to keep right after a traffic stop on Tyler Whitmore Road in Coldspring. She is due back in Coldspring Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING – David L. Bobseine, 70, of Gowanda was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and failure to keep right after a traffic stop on Route 394 on Coldspring. He is due back in Coldspring Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Heather Valdez, 37, of Crescent City, Fla. was charged Thursday with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. Benny Valdez, 37, of Crescent City, Fla. was charged Thursday with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operator and aggravated unlicensed operation. State Police were conducting a traffic road check Route 394 in North Harmony, when a vehicle was observed stopping north of the road check. The occupants changed drivers and turned around from the road check. A patrol caught up with the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. While interviewing the driver, State Police detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A check of the vehicle produced 34 grams of marijuana, cocaine and two open cans of beer. A Department of Motor Vehicles check showed Benny Valdez to be suspended in New York. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing. Heather Valdez was arraigned in North Harmony Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail. Benny Valdez was also arraigned in North Harmony Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

SHERIDAN – Katelyn T. Kozak, 26, of Sheridan was charged Monday with second-degree forgery. At approximately 10 a.m., deputies took Kozak into custody without incident at 11309 Center Road in Sheridan. Chautauqua County Court previously issued a warrant for Kozak for a felony charge of forgery. She was taken to county jail where she is awaiting arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jeybinson Morales-Hernandez, 20, of Lakewood was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 11:53 p.m., an officer stopped a car driven by Morales-Hernandez for traffic infractions. Further investigation revealed that Morales-Hernandez was in possession of a small bag of marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

An 18-year-old Falconer resident was charged Monday with unauthorized speed contest and speed not reasonable or prudent. The 18-year-old was stopped for racing another vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood. Both vehicles were traveling at a high rate of speed when they were observed by police. The driver will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

James Lewis, 50, has been charged with driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following an incident that occurred Sunday. According to a police report, JPD officers were on patrol when they noticed a gray Dodge Durango, without headlights on, fail to keep right as it turned from Cherry Street onto West Third Street. During the investigation, Lewis was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated, and with a suspended driver’s license. Lewis was charged with DWI and first-degree unlicensed operation, as well as other vehicle and traffic law charges. He was transported to the city jail without incident, where he was held pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Miranda L. Bush, and a 17-year-old female, have been charged with petit larceny after attempting to steal merchandise from Wal-Mart at approximately 7:19 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, the two women had collectively placed $106.12 worth of merchandise into their purses and attempted to leave the store without paying for it. The women were issued appearance tickets, and will appear in court at a later date.

POMFRET – Neil D. Burrs, 35, of Bradford, Pa., was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and speed in zone. At approximately 8:39 p.m., deputies stopped a speeding motorist on Route 60 in Pomfret. The driver – Burrs – was found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE

ALLEGANY – Thomas R. Stanczykowski, 30, of Allegany was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony. After a several-month investigation conducted by the Olean-based Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force into the sale and trafficking of illegal narcotics in Allegany, Olean and Salamanca, officers executed a search warrant at 4387 Route 417, Apt. 1. Approximately 3 ounces of cocaine were seized with a street value of approximately $8,500. Five thousand dollars in U.S. currency was also found, along with scales, a large quantity of pills, weapons and miscellaneous paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected. The Task Force was assisted by members of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol divisions.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tammy J. Gilbert, 42, of Celoron was charged Sunday with endangering the welfare of a child. A 13-year-old juvenile was issued an appearance ticket for Family Court for third-degree criminal tampering. It is alleged that the juvenile walked into a Celoron business and tampered with the store owner’s property. Gilbert will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD – Dillon Ward, 21, of Westfield was charged Tuesday with fugitive from justice. The Pennsylvania Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for the arrest of Ward on failure to appear on a charge of conspiracy-receiving stolen property. The Pennsylvania criminal charges were based on a lengthy investigation conducted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police which involved a burglary of a residence on Route 5 in Westfield. Ward was arrested at his residence on Shore Drive in Westfield and remanded to the county jail.

FORESTVILLE – A 17-year-old female youth was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment. At approximately 5:15 a.m., deputies responded to Versailles Road for the report of a past-tense harassment. An investigation on scene determined that a female youth victim had been punched by another female youth at Forestville Central School. The female suspect will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA – Jared L. Hunt, 24, of Mayville was charged Wednesday with failure to keep right, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 4:15 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 430 in Ellery for a traffic violation. The driver – Hunt – was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana as well as a controlled substance. Hunt will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA – Cheyenne L. Armstrong, 33, of Salamanca was charged Wednesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to use turn signal. While patrolling Salamanca, a patrol observed a vehicle being operated by Armstrong failing to use a turn signal when making a left turn. Further investigation revealed that Armstrong had a suspended license. She will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Jonathan Riddell, 32, of Conewango Valley was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated and a window tint violation after a traffic stop for a window tint violation on Route 241 in Randolph. The trooper detected a strong odor of alcohol, and after field sobriety tests, Riddell was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .13 was obtained. Riddell will appear in Randolph Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.

FREDONIA – Mark C. Majka, 24, of Depew was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and speed in zone. At approximately 3:38 a.m., deputies stopped a speeding motorist on Brigham Road in Fredonia. The driver – Majka – was found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Fredonia Court at a later date.

DUNKIRK – Robert M. Piotrowicz, 19, of Hamburg was charged Sunday with zero tolerance detainment, unlawful possession of alcohol under 21 and speed in zone. Tyler V. Gaglia, 18, of Hamburg was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of alcohol under 21. At approximately 2:13 a.m., deputies stopped a speeding motorist on Millard Fillmore Avenue in Dunkirk. The driver – Piotrowicz – and the passenger – Gaglia – were found to have beer in their possession. It was also determined that they had consumed alcohol. Piotrowicz, though not intoxicated, was detained under provisions of the Zero Tolerance Law. Both males will appear at Dunkirk Court at a later date. Piotrowicz will also appear at a Department of Motor Vehicles hearing where he may have his license suspended.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

A 16-year-old suspect was charged on April 23 with fourth-degree criminal mischief, trespass and resisting arrest. At approximately 9:30 p.m., a trooper was driving on Washington Street when he heard the sound of a window breaking at one of the residences. The trooper pulled into the driveway and shined the spotlight on the house and observed a broken door and a male on the porch. After identifying himself, the trooper told the male suspect not to move, at which point the suspect fled. The trooper called for assistance and began a foot pursuit, chasing the suspect north on West 13th Street, across North Main Street and onto Crossman, where he was taken into custody. The suspect was taken to the State Police barracks at Jamestown for processing and issued appearance tickets for Jamestown Court. The suspect was released to a guardian.

POMFRET – Anthony Amoroso, 24, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated on Fredonia Stockton Road in Pomfret. When the trooper stopped to check on the operator of a running vehicle stopped on the side of the road with its flashers on, a strong odor of alcohol was detected. The operator failed all standard field sobriety tests. The vehicle’s registration was also expired. The operator was transported to State Police barracks at Fredonia for processing and issued appearance tickets to appear in Pomfret Court on Tuesday. He was then released to a relative.

April M. Nelson, 25, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Pratt Street in Jamestown. Troopers stopped the vehicle after observing the passenger half out of the car appearing to be sick. When interviewing the driver, an odor of alcohol was detected and Nelson was transported to State Police barracks at Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .14 percent was obtained. Nelson was issued appearance tickets for Jamestown Court and released to a third party.

Kristy M. Wisniewski, 30, of Jamestown was charged on April 27 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after a traffic stop on Washington Street in Jamestown. Troopers had been flagged down by a motorist reporting an erratic driver, and after locating the vehicle, observed the driver fail to use the turning signal, drive up onto the curb and veer between lanes. A traffic stop was initiated and after field sobriety test Wisniewski was transported to State Police barracks at Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .26 percent was obtained. She was arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.

ARKWRIGHT – Richard P. Lloyd, 47, of Forestville was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment. At approximately 7:40 a.m., Lloyd was involved in a disagreement with another resident and Lloyd threw a chair at another individual. The other individual sustained minor injuries from being struck by the chair. Lloyd will appear in Arkwright Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Michael A. Campaign, 44, of Forestville was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and second-degree reckless endangerment. At approximately 3:30 p.m., deputies and New York State Police responded to Pearl Street for the report of a domestic dispute. Investigation determined that Campaign broke a vehicle window while a female victim was seated inside. The female attempted to call the police on her cellphone, but was obstructed from doing so by Campaign. Campaign was arrested on scene and will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Justina F. Douglas, 26, of Rochester was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a fight call at 636 E. Sixth St. It was found that Douglas got into a fight with a female and a male who were at the residence. Douglas did this in front of a small child. After being placed under arrest for charges related to the fight, Douglas damaged a Jamestown Police Department patrol vehicle. He is being held at the city jail pending arraignment.

Todd A. Bower, 25, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to signal a turn. At approximately 3:38 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Towner Avenue for failing to signal a turn.Officers determined that the driver – Bower – was intoxicated. A chemical breath test at the city jail revealed his blood alcohol content was over the legal limit. He will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.

Devin M. Houghwot, 26, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with failure to dim headlights, driving while ability impaired and no front license plate. At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on South Main Street for failing to dim their headlights and having no front license plate. The driver – Houghwot – was found to be under the influence of drugs. He was transported to city jail and is pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Norman J. Lindell was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree harassment and criminal mischief for allegedly forcing his way into a residence, damaging property and physically harassing two individuals. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

GREAT VALLEY – Randy J. Hinman, 52, of Salamanca was charged Sunday at approximately 2:50 a.m. with driving while intoxicated common law, blood alcohol content greater that .08 percent and failure to stay in lane. Hinman will appear in Great Valley Court on May 14 at 4 p.m.

GREAT VALLEY – Robert J. Olin, 41, of Salamanca was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain lane. At approximately 1:28 a.m., Olin was charged after striking an electrical pole. He will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

MANSFIELD – Jacob G. Winship, 23, of Mansfield was arrested Monday on a warrant out of Great Valley Court. Winship is being held at the county jail on $1,000 bail and will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

PORTLAND-Justin A. Baker, 20, of Erie, Pa., was charged Thursday with two counts of third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, two counts of reckless driving, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while impaired by drugs and multiple vehicle and traffic law infractions. At approximately 10:22 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received information from the Pennsylvania State Police that a vehicle pursuit was headed into New York State on Route 5. Once deputies observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, they attempted to stop it near Westfield. Other deputies were able to set up stop strips in the roadway and successfully brought the speeding vehicle to a halt in Portland. The driver-Baker-was taken into custody. Investigation revealed that Baker was impaired by drugs. He was arraigned in Westfield Court and remanded to the county jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 property bond.

DUNKIRK-Hunter D. Giordano, 20, of Buffalo was charged Saturday with speed in zone, unlawful possession of marijuana and zero tolerance. At approximately 1:42 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 60 in Dunkirk. Investigation revealed that the driver-Giordano-was intoxicated and under 21. He was also in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Giordano was issued tickets and released. He will appear at Dunkirk Court on a later date. He will also appear in front of a Department of Motor Vehicles law judge to answer to the zero tolerance violation.

FREDONIA-Patrick F. Donohue, 20, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with passing a red signal and driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At approximately 1:34 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 20 in Fredonia for failing to stop at a red light. Investigation revealed that the driver-Donohue-was intoxicated. He was taken into custody for processing and released. He will appear in Fredonia Court at a later date.

POMFRET-Amanda R. Klemowski, 20, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with no head lamps, no tail lamps and zero tolerance. At approximately 2:31 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for not having tail lamps or head lights on. The driver-Klemowski-was found to be intoxicated and under 21. She was detained, processed and released with tickets to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date. She will also appear in front of a DMV law judge to answer to the zero tolerance violation.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Willie F. Lockett, 51, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault. At approximately 2:10 a.m., officers responded to 335 Foote Ave., Apt. 1, for a report of a physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers determined that Lockett had engaged in a physical dispute with the victim. Specifically, it was determined that Lockett punched the victim several times, causing minor injuries. He then strangled the victim to the point of unconsciousness. Lockett was taken into custody without incident and transported the city jail. He is pending arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jeremy P. Green, 35, of Falconer was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, felony DWI and failure to maintain lane. Ellicott Police attempted to stop a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue after a short pursuit in Jamestown. The vehicle was stopped with the assistance of the Jamestown Police Department. The driver-Green-was found to be intoxicated. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

Scott J. Apthorpe, 42, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with BAC of .08 percent or higher and aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or higher. At approximately 11:30 p.m., police observed a vehicle on West Main Street violating several vehicle and traffic laws. After the vehicle was stopped, it was determined that the driver-Apthorpe-was intoxicated with a BAC three times the legal limit. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Rebecca A. Owles, 37, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with failure to stop at a red light, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with BAC of .08 percent or higher and aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or higher. At approximately 2:25 a.m., police were stopped at a red light. When the light turned green and the patrol car started to move forward, it was nearly struck by another vehicle that failed to stop at the red light from the side. Police stopped the vehicle on Tiffany Avenue near Blackstone Avenue, and found that the driver-Owles-was intoxicated. He had a BAC three times the legal limit. Owles will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SOUTH DAYTON-Joshua J. Dash, 34, of Randolph was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with child in the vehicle and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after a patrol received multiple calls that Dash was driving intoxicated with two children inside his car. He was located and arrested in South Dayton. Dash was arraigned in Persia Court and remanded to county jail in lieu of $3,000 bail. He is due back in court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Stephen Carlson, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and overdriving/torturing/injuring an animal on Sunday at 1:22 a.m. Officers responded to West Tenth Street for a report of a disorderly male. Upon arrival, officers located and detained Carlson, who was allegedly highly intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that Carlson came home from the bar shortly after midnight and started breaking items throughout the house, police said. Carlson allegedly grabbed a pet Chihuahua and strangled it before eventually throwing the dog on the floor. Carlson committed these crimes while in front of a 16-year-old victim, police said.

Courtnee Blake, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with failure to stop at a steady red light, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more Sunday at 3:27 a.m. Officers observed a red sedan traveling southbound on North Main Street that failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of North Main and West Harrison streets. A traffic stop was made near the intersection of South Main Street and Arterial. Further investigation revealed Blake was intoxicated, police said. She was arrested for DWI and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she submitted to a chemical breath test, which determined her blood alcohol concentration to be over .08 percent. Blake was released on uniform traffic tickets and is to appear in court at a later date.

Jaycee Moore, 18, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal nuisance and unlawful possession of marijuana Sunday at 12:30 a.m. Officers responded to an underage party complaint at Forest Avenue. The investigation revealed that Moore was hosting a party where there were several individuals under the age of 21 in attendance and were drinking, police said. A quantity of marijuana was also allegedly located inside the home. Moore was placed under arrest and transported to the city jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD- Lakewood-Busti Police are investigating a counterfeit bill that had been passed at a local business. They are advising other businesses in the area to keep an eye out for this happening as the bills are extremely easy to identify upon quick inspection. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK- Peter Moldenhauer II, 45, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, refusal to take a roadside screening and failure to maintain lane Saturday at 5:40 p.m. Deputies responded to Chestnut Road in Dunkirk for a property damage accident. Reportedly, the operator had fled the area after the accident. Deputies located the accident, but the driver had fled. Following an investigation, it was determined the driver went off the road way, struck a row of grapes then continued to strike two guard rails in the southbound lane and one in the northbound lane. The driver was identified as Moldenhauer and he was charged. He will appear in Dunkirk Court.

CHAUTAUQUA- A 17-year-old male from Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny Saturday at 3:55 p.m. The suspect allegedly put a can of Pringles under his shirt and walked out of the business without paying. The subject was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

SHERMAN- Joshua Berner, 24, of Tonawanda, was charged with petit larceny Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The owner of Ohlsson’s Auto Repair facility called to report the theft of a book of New York state inspection stickers from his business. At the conclusion of the investigation, it was determined that Berner took the stickers while he was there getting his girlfriend’s car inspected, police said. All of the inspection stickers were recovered from the suspect. Berner was issued an appearance ticket for petit larceny and will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

PORTLAND- James Coccarelli, 29, of Portland, was charged with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child Saturday at 9:03 a.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to serve a warrant on Pecor Street in Portland. Deputies located Coccarelli outside a residence, and he had active warrants, police said. He was taken into custody and arraigned in Portland Court. Coccarelli was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force responded to the corner of R.C. Hoag Drive and Front Avenue in Salamanca after police received a report of drug activity in the area Thursday at 10 p.m. As a result of the complaint, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force charged Sue Foster, 41, of Coldspring, with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Also charged by the Salamanca Police Department was Dale Redeye for unlawful possession of marijuana. Both subjects were issued appearance tickets and are to appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

SALAMANCA- David Graham, 31, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree harassment April 6 at 12 a.m. Police arrested Graham during a domestic incident at his residence and he was being held for arraignment.

SALAMANCA- Robert Hurd, 66, of Salamanca, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment April 2 at 4:47 p.m. He was processed and was held awaiting arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

GREAT VALLEY- Jeffrey P. Jackson, 30, from Springville, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief Saturday. He was arraigned in Great Valley Court and released after posting $100 bail.

Samuel Falsetti, 29, from Niagara Falls, and Samuel Maccaluop, 24, from West Seneca, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Saturday. They are due back in court at a later date.

COLDSPRING- Jeffrey Craumer, 56, of Steamburg, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child Wednesday at 9:37 p.m. Deputies followed a complaint of a domestic dispute at his residence and Craumer was alleged to have engaged in a physical and verbal altercation with another individual in the presence of a child. He was arraigned in Coldspring Court and held at the Cattaraugus County Jail on $250 bail.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

PINE GROVE- Beth Ann Pace, 43, of Russell, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence Tuesday at 7:10 p.m. Pace was operating her 2007 Ford F-150 in Pine Grove, Pa. She failed to negotiate a left hand curve, drove up the embankment on the west berm and struck a tree, police said. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and upon arrival, it was determined that Pace was under the influence of alcohol, police said. She was transported to Pennsylvania State Police in Warren where she submitted to a breath test, which determined her blood alcohol content was over the legal limit.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Jesse J. Silvagnia, 18, of Silver Creek, Joshua P. Kilburn, 19, of Forestville and an unnamed male youth were charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 1:03 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle committing a traffic violation in Hanover. Upon stopping the vehicle, deputies found the above subjects in possession of marijuana. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Anthony M. Spitale, 18, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with first-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment. At approximately 4:07 p.m., officers responded to Prendergast Avenue for a reported domestic incident in progress. Officers learned that Spitale had entered the residence of a female victim, engaged in a verbal argument with her and threw an object at her. The female victim had a valid order of protection against Spitale. She ran away from the residence after the encounter. Spitale subsequently began to damage property inside the apartment, breaking a glass window pane. He left prior to police arrival, but was taken into custody a short time later. Spitale was found to have property belonging to the victim. He is currently in city jail pending arraignment.

Dustin D. Pickett, 25, of Jamestown was charged Friday with criminal impersonation and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At approximately 2 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on William Street near Glasgow Avenue. Pickett was the driver and gave a false name to police. Further investigation revealed that Pickett had a valid warrant out of Jamestown. He also had a suspended driver’s license. He is currently in city jail pending arraignment.

Wayne B. Wright III, 43, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. At approximately 11:50 p.m., officers took the report of a stolen motor vehicle from 102 McKinley Ave. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a victim who stated that Wright took her vehicle without permission. Wright was located at approximately 2:18 a.m. Friday when he returned to his McKinley Avenue residence. He was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA – Davis C. Persons, 32, of Salamanca was arrested Wednesday on a Family Court bench warrant at approximately 9:10 p.m. He was transferred to the Sheriff’s Department and taken to New Albion Court for arraignment. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. He is due in Olean Court at a later date.

Michael S. Lockerbie, 49, of Jamestown was charged on April 11 with two counts of petit larceny. Lockerbie was taken into custody at his residence on an arrest warrant. He was arrested for entering a business two different times in one afternoon and stealing $183.23 worth of steaks. The second time he entered the store, Lockerbie was confronted by loss prevention. He fled, but was eventually located by police.

Gary L. West, 39, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree harassment. Police responded to a local business for a disorderly subject. Investigation revealed that West made threats to another worker and slapped a coffee cup out of the victim’s hand. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Frank M. Pachetti III, 19, of Irving was charged Wednesday with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. At approximately 12:49 p.m., deputies were called to a disorderly person complaint in Hanover. Investigation revealed that Pachetti was involved in a verbal altercation with another male. Pachetti was also in possession of a hypodermic needle. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Joseph A. Timmerman, 32, of Westfield was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. At approximately 12:55 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle stuck in a grape vineyard on Route 5 in Ripley. Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicle in an irrigation ditch. Investigation revealed the driver – Timmerman – was intoxicated. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date. Other charges may be filed pending investigation into possible damage to property in the vineyard caused by Timmerman.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – Katherine Ann Hayes, 27, of Olean was charged Monday at approximately 1:25 p.m. with a violation of probation warrant issued out of the Cattaraugus County Supreme Court. She was taken into custody at her residence and transported to the county jail.
