ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Dana A. Ulrich, 32, of Falconer was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. At approximately 2:30 p.m., police were called to investigate a domestic incident that occurred on East Main Street in Falconer. The investigation revealed that Ulrich allegedly slapped and broke the glasses of a male victim, causing swelling and pain to the face. Ulrich was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

David A. Liberto , 34, of Lakewood, was charged on Feb. 19 with second-degree menacing. It is alleged that Liberto was in the Wal-Mart parking lot with a friend, who insisted on driving because Ulrich was intoxicated. Ulrich reportedly took out a knife and threatened the friend not to take his keys away. A warrant was filed and Ulrich was charged.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Timothy E. Ford, 52, of Panama was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated. After stopping for a disabled vehicle on Route 394 in Jamestown, state police detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Ford’s vehicle. After field sobriety tests, Ford was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .22 was obtained. Ford will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FORESTVILLE – Mark R. Kirkland, 54, of Forestville was charged Tuesday with third-degree burglary, petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. At approximately 1:40 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary in progress. The victim reported that he discovered Kirkland in his trailer, who later fled the scene. The victim followed Kirkland’s vehicle for a short time. Kirkland and his vehicle were found at his residence. He was arraigned in Hanover Court and released. He will appear in court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Stephanie A. Hart, of Silver Creek was charged Tuesday with third-degree stalking and second-degree harassment. At approximately 9 a.m., deputies responded to a victim who reported that Hart was allegedly trying to gain entry inside. Hart was recently charged for a similar incident and had been warned several times to stay away from the victim. She was placed into custody and transported to the county jail. On Thursday at approximately 3 p.m., it was alleged that Hart smashed a county-owned television in her cell during an outburst. She was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. She will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brandon K. Sorenson, 20, and Timothy A. Cook, 25, both of Jamestown, were charged Tuesday with petit larceny. Police were called to the Kmart on Fairmount Avenue where loss prevention reported seeing Sorenson and Cook take a large amount of clothing valuing over $150 and exit the store. With the assistance of the Lakewood-Busti Police Department, Sorenson and Cook were apprehended. Both will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Christian M. Paterniti, 43, of Jamestown, was charged Monday with bad check. It is alleged that Paterniti issued a bad check to Dunn Tire in the amount of $107.50 on Sept. 11. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Dennis W. Norks, 27, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Upon investigation, it was determined that Norks went into Reeds Jewelers with stolen jewelry and pawned it for money. He was charged at approximately 2 p.m.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

GREAT VALLEY – Karen E. Rapacioli, 61, of Salamanca was charged Tuesday with felony driving while intoxicated, felony DWI .08 percent of 1 percent or higher and failure to keep right. At approximately 1:05 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 219. Rapacioli was found to be intoxicated. She was processed at the Ellicottville Police Department and is scheduled to appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

ELLICOTT – Randy R. Hefing, 54, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated. After a traffic stop on Route 430 for an inoperable headlight, the Trooper detected a strong odor of alcohol from Hefing’s vehicle. After field sobriety tests, Hefing was charged for DWI. He was transported to State Police Jamestown where a BAC of’ .13 was obtained. Hefing was issued tickets and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.

RANDOLPH – Kevin A. Hanson, 25 of Little Valley was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate exhaust. After a traffic stop for a loud muffler on Route 394, state police detected a strong odor of marihuana while approaching Hanson’s vehicle. Hanson was found to be in possession of marihuana. Also, a computer check showed him to be a suspended driver. Hanson was issued tickets and will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ARKWRIGHT – Douglas Minnich, 36, of Sinclairville was charged Tuesday with failure to yield the right of way at an intersection. At approximately 7:32 a.m., deputies responded to Route 83 for a two-car accident. Minnich allegedly failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Route 83 and Center Road and pulled out in front of another vehicle. He will appear in Arkwright Court at a later date.

CHERRY CREEK – Ronald B. Lilley, 41, of Cherry Creek was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. At approximately 8 p.m., deputies charged Lilley following an incident which occurred on Jan. 29 in which Lilley allegedly struck another individual during an altercation. He will appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kristy M. Wisniewski, 30, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, open container, refusal to submit to pre-screen breath test, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance by ultimate users container. At approximately 11:38 p.m., officers responded to 151 Barrett Ave. for a report of a vehicle that struck property at that location. Upon arrival, officers determined the driver – Wisniewski – was intoxicated. They also located an unmarked bottle of pills containing Tramadol, a controlled substance. Wisniewski refused to take a breath test at the Jamestown Police Department. She is awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.

Charles Snyder, 30, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. At approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Cheney Street for an order of protection violation check. Officers located Snyder inside the residence with a female victim, who had a valid Superior Court order of protection. Snyder was transported to the Jamestown City Holding Facility without any incident.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – Joanne A. Tickner, 39, of Olean was charged with disorderly conduct. At approximately 12:45 p.m., deputies charged Tickner after she allegedly behaved in a manner which was aggressive to Family Court staff members. She further continued to act in an unruly, aggressive and uncooperative manner, according to deputies. She will appear in court at a later date.

OLEAN – Jennifer L. Quintana, 34, of Olean was charged at her residence Sunday on a bench warrant issued out of Allegany Court. She was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail and is due back in Allegany Court at a later date.

ASHFORD – Grant A. Newman, 31, of Springville was charged Feb. 15 with endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 11:45 a.m., deputies charged Newman on a bench warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. He was then turned over to Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Deputies and transported to the county jail. He is being held without bail and is awaiting arraignment.

HINSDALE – James F. Skinner, 27, of Hinsdale was charged Feb. 17 on a family court warrant. At approximately 10:17 a.m., deputies charged Skinner at his residence and transported him to Hinsdale Court for arraignment. He was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $750 bail and is due in family court at a later date.

ASHFORD – Clarence G. Sanford, 48, of Buffalo was picked up by deputies at the Erie County Holding Center for a bench warrant issued out of Ashford Court. He was arraigned at Ashford Court and released.

LITTLE VALLEY – Angel M. Fischer, 30, of Little Valley was charged Sunday on a bench warrant issued out of Olean Court. She was turned over to the Olean Police Department for further processing.

SALAMANCA – Cody S. Burrows, 18, of Salamanca was charged Sunday on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Salamanca Court. He was turned over to the Salamanca Police Department for further processing.

ALLEGANY – Jason R. Whiteman, 31, of Olean was charged Monday on a warrant issued out of family court and transported back to the family court for arraignment. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,500 bail and is due back in family court at a later date.

OLEAN – Amy L. Gephart, 40, of Olean was charged Sunday with obstructing governmental administration. At approximately 12:10 p.m., Gephart was charged at her residence for obstructing governmental administration while deputies were attempting to execute a bench warrant. She is due back in Olean Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Wayne Snyder Jr., 23, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with resisting arrest as well as two outstanding felony warrants. Lorilynn Moriarty, 19, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. At approximately 4:37 p.m., officers conducted a warrant check on Snyder at 119 E. Fifth St. Snyder possessed outstanding felony warrants out of Jamestown. Snyder and Moriarty were found inside the residence. Both refused to comply with officers as officers placed Snyder under arrest. Both were transported to city jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Carey L. Anderson, 31, of Willoughby, Ohio, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI Per Se and speed in zone. At approximately 3:14 a.m., a patrol on Big Tree Road in Busti observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed. After stopping the vehicle, the officer determined that the driver-Anderson-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

A juvenile was charged Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. After police responded to a domestic incident on Hunt Road, they determined that a 14-year-old smashed a television. The youth was issued an appearance ticket for Family Court.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MACHIAS-Austin E. Moore, 19, of Farmersville, was charged on Feb. 16 with fourth-degree grand larceny, trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 9 p.m., police charged Moore following an investigation of a stolen snowmobile on Marble Road. Moore was arraigned at Ashford Court where he posted bail and was released. He will appear at Ashford Court on a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Michelle M. Armentrout, 44, of Falconer, was charged Sunday with DWI and failure to keep right. After police conducted a traffic stop on Route 394 in Ellicott, they detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Armentrout’s vehicle. After field tests, she was transported to State Police Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .10 percent was obtained. Armentrout was issued tickets and will return to Ellicott Court at a later date. She was released to a third party.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

On Saturday at 11:40, Jamestown Police officers topped a vehicle on Harrison Street for having tinted windows. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Jason J. Benton, 23, of Jamestown and following a brief investigation, it was revealed Benton was wanted out of the state of Florida for felony probation. He was taken into custody and transported to the city jail pending arraignment. The operator of the vehicle was ticketed for being in violation of having tinted windows.

Gary Danna, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right on Friday at 11 p.m. Jamestown Police allegedly observed a vehicle crossing the center line near East Sixth Street at Lakeview Avenue, nearly striking parked vehicles. Officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and spoke with Danna. After further investigation and a series of field sobriety tests, Danna was arrested and transported to the city jail where he submitted to a chemical test which revealed his blood alcohol content to be more than twice the legal limit.

John Kennedy, 29, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and false personation on Saturday at 1:45 a.m. Jamestown Police stopped a vehicle at South Main Street and Kidder Street for failing to obey a traffic-control device. The operator of the vehicle allegedly could not produce identification and did give police a false name, police said. Police were able to identify the operator as Kennedy, who has a suspended driver license and was allegedly trying to hide his identity from police. He was arrested and transported to city jail in lieu of bail.

Jonathan C. Williams, 27, was charged at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with criminal impersonation and two city warrants. Jamestown Police Department officers stopped a vehicle on Bemus Street at English Street for a traffic violation. Officers made contact with occupants of the vehicle. Through investigation, they determined that one of the passengers in the vehicle was giving a false name. Officers determined the subject to be Williams, who was also found to have two valid warrants out of the city of Jamestown. He was transported to City Jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Amy L. Hitchcock, 41, of Jamestown was charged at 10:49 p.m. Thursday with second-degree burglary and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief. Jamestown Police responded to 36 Kinney St. for a physical domestic. Upon arrival, they located Hitchcock inside a family member’s apartment. she did not have permission to be in the apartment and forced her way inside while committing a crime within. Hitchcock broke a chair on the floor, smashing it to pieces, and took a phone away while a family member was attempting to call police for help. She was charged and transported to Jamestown City Jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Carlos M. Pagan, 47, of Jamestown was charged at 4:11 a.m. on Friday with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers of the 3rd Platoon conducted a warrant check at 18 Cross St. in attempt to locate Pagan on a valid criminal contempt warrant issued by Jamestown City Court. When they arrived on location, they located Pagan in the attic at the residence. He was taken into custody without incident. While at the residence, it was found that there is a valid order of protection for Pagan to stay away from the resident of the Cross Street house. Pagan was additionally charged with violating this order. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and is being held pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

BUSTI – Greg Lowe, 36, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated harassment on Sunday at 1 a.m. Lakewood-Busti Police investigated a compliant made by a town resident being allegedly threatened by Lowe. Police arrested Lowe, who was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Busti Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – Rebecca Russo, 21, of Lakewood was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Wednesday at 11:32 p.m. On Wednesday, Lakewood-Busti Police responded to 33 W. Summit Ave. for a reported narcotics complaint. Upon further investigation, Russo was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. She was arrested and will appear in Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NORTH HARMONY – Michael Ellert, 51, of Euclid, Ohio, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to signal turn on Friday at 10:15 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s patrol stopped Ellert on Route 474 in Ashville after having allegedly failed to signal turn from South Maple Avenue. Following an investigation, Ellert was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was later released and will appear in North Harmony Town Court on a future date.

Stephanie A. Hart, 30, of Silver Creek was charged at 11:30 a.m. on Friday with second-degree harassment and third-degree criminal trespass. Deputies responded to a residence in Silver Creek for a trespass complaint. Hart walked into the victim’s apartment for no apparent reason and proceeded to threaten her. She was placed into custody and charged. She was later released and is to appear in court on a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RANDOLPH – Joshua Dash, 34, of Randolph was charged with third-degree assault on Saturday at 12:07 a.m. Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dash following an investigation of a domestic incident that occurred at 34 Weeden Road in Randolph. Dash was arraigned in Randolph Court where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of bail. He is due back in Randolph Court at a later date to answer for the charge.

EAST OTTO – Tonja Libby, 34, of Collins was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain lane on Wednesday at 11:03 p.m. following a motor vehicle accident. She was processed and turned over to a third party and is due back in East Otto Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

BROCTON – Marcus D. Reed, 24, of Brocton was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment. At approximately 3:15 p.m., Reed was charged for allegedly grabbing hold of another individual and pushing him up against a wood stove. Reed continued to threaten and push the victim until a third party was able to stop him. Reed will appear in court at a later date.

PORTLAND – Brittney N. Paulus, 29, of Dewittville was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, speed not reasonable and failure to keep right. At approximately 12:03 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Plank Road. Paulus was operating a 1999 Ford Explorer southbound when she crossed over the northbound lane and left the roadway on the east side. The vehicle rolled over. Investigation revealed that Paulus was traveling at an unsafe speed in icy conditions and was intoxicated. Neither her nor her 25-year-old passenger were injured. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and will appear in Portland Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tatiana M. Lopez, 19, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault. At approximately 5:34 p.m., officers responded to the area of 4 Hazzard St. for a fight in progress. Upon arriving, officers determined that the fight was between two sisters. It was alleged that Lopez struck her sister in the back with a golf club several times. The victim did have a visible injury to her upper back. Lopez was taken to the city jail.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

Edward R. Eaker, 28, of Dunkirk was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no/inadequate lights. At approximately 1:50 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on East Main Street for driving without headlights on. Further investigation revealed that Eaker’s driving privileges in New York had been suspended. Eaker is due back in court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

KIANTONE – Stanley P. Barton, 66, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana. After a traffic stop for using a handheld mobile device on Riverside Road, Barton was transported to State Police Jamestown for processing. He was also issued traffic tickets for operating a motor vehicle on a public highway while using a mobile phone and obstructed plate. He will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

COLLINS – Robert Bargy, 49, and Joshua Ross, 25, both of Falconer, were charged Wednesday with petit larceny. The two men reportedly stole $150 worth of cigarettes from the Iroquois Smoke Shop on Route 438 in Gowanda. Troopers from Collins and Falconer were able to track the two down to the Jamestown area as the investigation unfolded, and picked them up on the warrants. The two were processed in Collins, arraigned in Collins Court and sent to the Erie County Holding Center on $5,000 cash bail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FREDONIA – Bryan J. Postolowski, 27, of Fredonia was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. At approximately 3 p.m., deputies took Postolowski into custody for buying merchandise from Wal-Mart in Fredonia with a stolen credit card. The card is believed to be the same card stolen from Portland on the same day. Postolowski was arraigned in Fredonia Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash/$30,000 property.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DAYTON – Dale A. Sandy, 35, of South Dayton was charged Feb. 13 with driving while intoxicated, DWI over .08 percent, reckless driving, third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer, speed over 55 mph, speed in zone and failure to observe an emergency vehicle. At approximately 10:45 p.m., deputies observed Sandy’s vehicle traveling 101 mph on Route 322. When deputies tried to stop him, Sandy led them on a high-speed pursuit through South Dayton and into Chautauqua County. He was eventually stopped on Route 39 in Hanover. Sandy was taken to Persia Court for arraignment and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail. He is due back in court at a later date.

EAST OTTO – Joseph R. Swift, 33, and Donielee L. Chyreck, 43, both of East Otto, were charged Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 6 p.m., a patrol responded to a domestic incident where it was determined both parties were engaged in an altercation in the proximity of children. Both are due back in court at a later date.

OLEAN – Lisa A. Struble, 46, of Olean was charged Feb. 13 with fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At approximately 7:25 p.m., Struble was picked up by police for a Superior Court warrant. She was dropped off at Cattaraugus County Jail for further proceedings.

OLEAN – Ralph B. Neasman, 41, of Buffalo was picked up by deputies Friday on a Superior Court warrant. He was taken to Cattaraugus County Jail for further proceedings.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

KIANTONE – Michael Thompson, 36, of Jamestown was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. After a traffic stop on Route 60 for a passenger with no seat belt, state police detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from Thompson’s vehicle. A search by K-9 Kubi yielded approximately 3 grams of marijuana inside. Thompson will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

ELLERY – James W. Ray, 33, of Geneva, Ohio, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and no seatbelt. During a traffic stop on Interstate 86, state police detected an odor of marijuana. Further investigation revealed that Ray was in possession of marijuana. Ray will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

KIANTONE – Dean J. Sandstrom, 51, of Frewsburg was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. During a traffic stop on Route 60, troopers, assisted by K-9 Kubi, found marihuana in the vehicle. Sandstrom will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

RANDOLPH – Kyle J. Provateare, 19, of Orange Village, Ohio, was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to stop at stop sign. Following a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign on Route 394, state police determined that Provateare was in possession of 12 grams of marijuana. He will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.

GERRY – Walter L. Whitfield, 37, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. After a traffic stop on Route 60, troopers noticed a strong odor of marijuana and found Whitfield to be in possession of marijuana. A computer check showed him to have a suspended driver’s license for failure to answer a summons. Whitfield was arraigned in Stockton Court where he posted bail. He is to appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Michael A. Allen, 38, of Forestville was charged Sunday with moving from lane unsafely, speed not reasonable and prudent, consumption of alcohol in vehicle and felony driving while intoxicated. At approximately 9:47 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle that had gone off the roadway into a snow bank. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver – Allen – was intoxicated. Allen had a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years making the offense a felony. He will appear in Hanover Court on a later date.

SHERIDAN – Jacob D. Bacho, 26, of Silver Creek was charged Monday with unsafe passing and driving while intoxicated. At approximately 12:13 a.m., deputies responded to Route 5 for a motor vehicle accident. Upon investigation, it was determined that a vehicle driven by Bacho attempted to pass another vehicle, but lost control, struck a ditch and rolled onto its side. Bacho was found to be intoxicated. He will appear in Sheridan Court on a later date.

STOCKTON – Amanda M. Miller, 31, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, backing unsafely, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating while registration suspended or revoked and operation without insurance. At approximately 6:30 a.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred on Bruyer Road where one driver left the scene. It was determined that Miller was the registered owner and operator of the vehicle at the time of the accident. Miller was later located and charged. She will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

CHARLOTTE – Krista M. Gibbons, 35, of Sinclairville, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. State Police conducted a traffic stop on Route 64 and determined there was a strong odor of alcohol inside Gibbons’ vehicle. Gibbons was charged and transported to State Police in Jamestown after taking field tests. She was released to a third party. Gibbons will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

MINA – Michael W. Brant, 37, of Warren, Pa., was charged Saturday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. State Police conducted a traffic stop on Route 426 after observing Brant’s vehicle speeding. A computer check of Brant showed him to have an active warrant out of Jamestown for failure to pay a fine and that he was also suspended in New York state. He was arraigned in Mina Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $750 bail.

Kyle E. Hepler, 25, was charged Friday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in addition to an outstanding warrant. At approximately 4:37 p.m., police identified Hepler who had an outstanding city court warrant for his arrest. Upon taking Hepler into custody, police found a quantity of heroin is his possession.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Terrie J. Woodruff, 40, of Lakewood, and Nicholas S. Evans, 20, of Jamestown, were charged Thursday with endangering the welfare of a child. It was reported that a 15-year-old male had been picked up at Southwestern Central School by several subjects who were not permitted to do so. Further investigation revealed that Evans had picked up the child from school and drove him to another location on Fairmount Avenue, where he picked up Woodruff, police said. The three were located together at Woodruff’s residence in Lakewood. Woodruff and Evans were arraigned at Ellicott Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN-Brandi R. Finch, 25, of Olean, was charged Wednesday with obstruction of governmental administration. At approximately 10:45 a.m., Finch was charged following an incident at her residence in which she interfered with the arrest of a parole violator, police said. She was transported to Portville Court for arraignment where bail was set at $500. She is due back in Olean Court at a later date.

ASHFORD-Grant A. Newman, 31, of Springville, was charged Saturday on a bench warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. Newman was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail. He is being held without bail and is awaiting arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jacqueline Green, 30, of Bemus Point was charged with failure to keep right, driving too slowly, inadequate/no exhaust, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher on Saturday at 1:20 a.m. An officer was traveling eastbound on East Harrison Street when they allegedly observed a gold-colored sedan driving down the middle of the road. As the sedan drove from East Harrison Street onto Willard Street, the vehicle slowed down abruptly and traveled for about a quarter mile at a speed under 10 miles per hour, police said. The officer activated the overhead emergency lights and a vehicle stop was made on Willard Street near Chapin Street. Further investigation revealed that the driver, Green, was operating the sedan in an intoxicated condition, police said. She was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she submitted to a chemical breath test which determined her blood-alcohol concentration to be .17 percent, police said.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK- Lauren Helda, 30, of Silver Creek, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, parking on highway, unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument at 8:59 p.m. on Feb. 9. Chautauqua County deputies were on patrol when they allegedly observed a running vehicle parked in the middle of Newton Street in Silver Creek. Deputies identified Helda as the operator, and upon further investigation it was allegedly discovered Helda had been operating her vehicle in an impaired state, police said. A record check revealed her New York state driving privileges were suspended. She will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

PORTLAND- Jenean Roth, 45, of Portland, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, failure to signal turn and failure to stop at stop sign on Saturday at 2:22 a.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies allegedly observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign and signal its turn from Highland Avenue onto Webster Road in Portland. Deputies stopped the vehicle, and Roth was identified as the driver. An investigation revealed that Roth was intoxicated, police said. She was released with citations to appear back in Portland Court at a later date.

GERRY- Derek Ring, 33, of Sinclairville, and Jeremy Barmore, 27, of Gerry, were both charged with third-degree assault on Friday at 9:40 p.m. Deputies responded to Jamestown Street in Sinclairville for a fight in progress. Following an investigation, Ring and Barmore were charged, and Barmore was also found to have an active bench warrant in Jamestown, police said. Both were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

GREAT VALLEY- Robert Treadway Jr., 46, of Great Valley, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and refusing a breath test on Wednesday at 10:39 p.m. Treadway was stopped on Route 219 for allegedly driving on the shoulder. He was administered standardized field sobriety test and charged for driving while intoxicated, police said. He also refused the prescreen, police said. Treadway is due back in Great Valley Court.

CONEWANGO- Brian McGonagle, 21, of Cherry Creek, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, no/inadequate headlights and an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle on Friday at 11:58 p.m. McGonagle was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana and hydrocodone pills after he was stopped on Benson Road in Conewango for inadequate headlights. When deputies attempted to place him under arrest, he led deputies on a short foot pursuit at which time he was placed into custody, police said. McGonagle was arraigned in Randolph Court where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of bail. He is due back in Conewango Court at a later date.

REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE

DUNKIRK-Ricardo Maldonado, 34, of Dunkirk, was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. At approximately 4 p.m., Maldonado was taken into custody without incident by the Dunkirk Police Department on an arrest warrant that had been issued earlier by the Dunkirk Court. The charges stemmed from an incident in which Maldonado allegedly sold quantities of heroin to members of the Southern Regional Drug Task Force. Maldonado was arraigned in Dunkirk Court and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where he will be held pending further action from the court. Additional charges will be filed against Maldonado at a later date. The arrest is the culmination of a months-long investigation into Maldonado’s activities.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Bobbie J. Schwartz, 34, of Frewsburg, was charged with speed in zone, failure to yield for emergency vehicle, failure to signal, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content over .18 percent. At approximately 8:38 a.m., officers observed a Ford Taurus traveling westbound on West Third Street speeding. The driver-Schwartz-failed to yield to police when they activated their siren. After a few blocks, the vehicle made a right turn onto Stewart Avenue and came to a stop because of road construction. Further investigation revealed that Schwartz was intoxicated. He was transported to city jail. A breath test revealed a result over three times the legal limit.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Larry A. Moore, 51, of Falconer, was charged Thursday with third-degree assault. At approximately 3:30 p.m., police were called to the area of 34 E. Main St. It was reported that a male and female were involved in an altercation. Further investigation revealed that Moore allegedly struck a female in the face causing pain and redness. The victim refused medical treatment. Moore will appear in court at a later date.

Norman Lindell, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with fifth-degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. During a traffic stop, it was found that Lindell had a warrant with the Jamestown Police Department. With the assistance of the Lakewood-Busti Police Department, Lindell was taken into custody and found to have a quanity of cocaine and hydrocodone pills in his possession. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail and will return to Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Lisa A. Fedorchuck, 46, of Lakewood, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. At approximately 8:30 p.m., police were requested to assist Chautauqua County Probation at 128 Lakeview Ave. While in the residence, police found multiple bags of marijuana in a room. Fedorchuck will appear in Busti Court at a later date. The Lakewood-Busti Police Department and Probation were assisted by the Jamestown Police Department K-9 unit during the investigation.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

James R. Hill, 23, of Cattaraugus, was charged Wednesday at a business in Ellicottville. Hill was wanted by a Great Valley misdemeanor warrant. Hill was arraigned in Mansfield Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

DUNKIRK – An unidentified youth was charged Wednesday with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. At approximately 5:45 p.m., deputies executed an arrest warrant issued from the Dunkirk Court. The warrant and charges stem from an incident on Monday in with the above youth allegedly punched and kicked another individual, threatened the individual with a knife and threw an object at the individual’s vehicle causing damage. The youth was arraigned in Dunkirk Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on $5,000 cash/$10,000 property bond.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jimmy A. Schauers Jr., 29, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree menacing. At approximately 4:40 p.m., officers responded to 183 McKinley Ave. for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers detained Schauers after a victim said he allegedly displayed what was believed to be a handgun during a verbal argument. A BB gun was located and recovered by officers. Schauers was transported to the Jamestown City Jail without incident and is currently awaiting arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

LITTLE VALLEY – Christine L. White, 27, of Olean was charged by deputies Tuesday at approximately 5:55 p.m. on a warrant issued from the Olean Court. White was turned over to the Olean Police Department.

SALAMANCA – Jared S. Wisniewski, 34, of Cattaraugus was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent of 1 percent or higher and failing to keep right. At approximately 1:41 a.m., Wisniewski was charged after allegedly swerving to miss an animal and ending up in a ditch. He was processed at Salamanca Police Department and released on uniform traffic tickets. He will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

BUSTI – Laci J. Lawson, 27, of Ashville was charged Thursday with felony second-degree forgery and criminal impersonation. At a traffic stop in January, Lawson used someone else’s name and received a ticket for an uninspected motor vehicle. The impersonation was discovered when the victim received a notice of a $93 fine due in Busti Court. State Police were contacted and the investigation led to Lawson being apprehended. She was arraigned in Busti Court and is to appear again at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Joshua Hintress, 25, of Dewittville was charged Wednesday with drug possession. Troopers performed a traffic stop on Huntress for a loud exhaust on Route 394 in North Harmony. State Police, assisted by K-9 Kubi, found Huntress to be in possession of marijuana. A computer check showed him to have an active warrant out of Jamestown. Huntress was issued appearance tickets returnable to North Harmony Court and turned over to Jamestown Police Department on the warrant charge of failure to appear for a preliminary hearing.

FRENCH CREEK – Kurt D. Kosmatine, 56, of Fairview, Pa., was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. At approximately 10 p.m., deputies were investigating a disturbance in a parking lot that Kosmatine allegedly drove into earlier. Upon investigation, it was determined that Kosmatine was intoxicated. He will appear in French Creek Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Erica R. Pickup, 19, of Sinclairville was charged on Feb. 7 with petit larceny. Police dispatched to Kmart on Fairmount Avenue where it was reported that loss prevention had Pickup in custody. It was alleged that Pickup had removed approximately $40 in merchandise from the store. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Timothy A. Dorrell, 37, of Lakewood was charged on Feb. 7 with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Dorrell was involved in a verbal argument with the victim, which led to him trashing the house and breaking stuff. When the victim attempted to clean up the house, Dorrell threw her around and stepped on her hand, causing injury. Dorrell then threatened to harm himself by pulling out a pocket knife and putting it to his throat. This was reportedly done in front of two small children. Dorrell was charged on an active warrant.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

PORTVILLE – Keegan M. Flynn, 27, of Portville was charged Monday with third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. At approximately 2:45 p.m., deputies reported to a residence at 1000 Route 417 following a domestic incident. He was transported to Portville Court for arraignment, and then released. He will appear in Portville Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

STOCKTON – Steven J. Stablewski, 23, of Stockton was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment after sending threatening text messages. When apprehended, Stablewski was found to be in possession of marijuana and was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marihuana. He was arraigned in Stockton Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.

James A. Grant, 50, of Jamestown, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 1:32 a.m., officers responded to 341 E. Virginia Blvd. for a 911 bang-up investigation. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who said Grant was causing a disturbance and wanted him to leave. The victim also said that she attempted to call 911, but Grant pulled the phone line out of the wall. Grant was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and is being held pending arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ALLEGANY-Shauna N. Covert, 27, of Olean, was charged Friday in violation of a probation warrant. At approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies charged Covert for a violation of a probation warrant issued out of Olean City Court. She was turned over to the Olean Police Department for further processing.

RANDOLPH-Andrew M. Herzog, 26, of Newburg, was charged Saturday on a bench warrant. At approximately 10:30 p.m., deputies performed a traffic stop on Herzog’s vehicle on Main Street. Further investigation revealed Herzog had an outstanding bench warrant issued by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Herzog was transferred to the Sheriff’s Office for further processing.

EAST OTTO-Christopher Marek, 21, of Cattaraugus, was charged Saturday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, following too closely, uninspected motor vehicle and unlicensed operator. At approximately 7:40 p.m., a patrol responded to a two-car vehicle accident. Marek was operating a vehicle that rear ended another at the intersection of East Otto Springville Road and Hammond Hill Road. A NYSPIN check found that his license had various suspensions and an outstanding warrant. Marek was taken to Otto Court for arraignment where bail was set at $5,000.

LITTLE VALLEY-Donald A. Hurd, 70, of Little Valley, was charged Monday in violation of a probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. Hurd was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail and held with no bail. He is due back in court at a later date.

LEON-Brian J. Herman, 31, of Leon, was charged Monday with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. State Troopers responded to a domestic incident on Smith Road and charged Herman. He was arraigned in Persia Court and is to appear in Leon Court at a later date.

MINA-Gary W. Rafaloski, 59, of Mina, was charged Sunday with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree criminal contempt. State Police charged Rafaloski after responding to a report of a domestic incident on Gaswell Hill Road. He was arraigned in Sherman Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail. He is to appear in Mina Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Ryan P. Somers, 34, of Lakewood, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI per se, failure to keep right and failure to change address on license. At approximately 3:11 p.m., Somers was driving eastbound on Route 394 when he allegedly crossed over the center of the roadway and struck a vehicle driven by Todd Keefe. Somers’ vehicle sustained extensive front end damage and Keefe’s vehicle was forced off the roadway into a yard. Upon investigation, it was determined that Somers was intoxicated. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jason L. Burger, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance outside of original container and failure to keep right. At approximately 10:04 p.m., officers on East Fairmount Avenue observed a vehicle cross the center lines of the roadway obstructing two lanes of traffic. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver-Burger-was in possession of multiple controlled substances and marijuana. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S COURT

MANSFIELD-Elizabeth J. Colby, 31, of Lancaster, was charged with DWI common law and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. At approximately 5:10 a.m., Colby was charged following a property damage accident. It was determined that she was intoxicated. Colby will appear in Mansfield Court at a later date.

ALLEGANY-Douglas A. Weinman, 45, of Olean, was charged Sunday with DWI common law, aggravated DWI of .18 percent or higher and failure to maintain lane. At approximately 2:30 a.m., Weinman was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Upon investigation, it was determined that Weinman was intoxicated. He was transported to Olean Police Department for processing and released later that morning. He will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RANDOLPH-Jia H. You, 19, of Rockville, Md., was charged Saturday with felony fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding. State Police performed a traffic stop on You for speeding on I-86. A search of the vehicle by troopers along with K-9 Kubi resulted in the seizure of five grams of concentrated hashish, smoking devices containing marijuana residue and approximately 4 grams of marijuana. You was arraigned in Cold Spring Court and committed to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail. He will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Calvin Stallworth Jr., 21, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, failure to keep right and improper turning on Sunday at 1:25 a.m. Jamestown officers allegedly observed Stallworth make an improper right turn and fail to keep right on East Second Street. The vehicle was stopped and investigation allegedly revealed Stallworth was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Stephen Brush Jr., 32, of Busti was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument and tampering with physical evidence on Saturday at 5:58 p.m. Jamestown officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling south on Forest Avenue. During the course of the investigation the driver of the vehicle, Bush, was found to be in possession of a quantity of heroin as well as two hypodermic needles. Bush allegedly attempted to eat some of the heroin and was consequently charged with tampering with physical evidence.

Francis Vega-Colon, 36, of Puerto Rico was charged with being a fugitive from justice on Friday at 4 p.m. Shortly after 2 p.m., Jamestown Police officers were summoned to a South Main Street address on a report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival at the address, two subjects were located in a vacant house on South Main Street. One of the two subjects, Vega-Colon, was allegedly found to have an active probation warrant out of Puerto Rico for dangerous drugs. He was arrested and was being held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment and extradition to Puerto Rico.

Ramon Nieves, 42, of Jamestown was charged with inadequate/no headlights, refusal of breath screening test, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and aggravated DWI with children less than 15 years old in vehicle on Sunday at 2:10 a.m. Officers observed Nieves allegedly driving eastbound on East Second Street without headlights on. Upon making contact with Nieves, officers could smell intoxicants on his breath, he had slurred speech and blood shot eyes, police said. Officers asked Nieves to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he refused. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he consented to a breath test which revealed his blood alcohol level to be over the legal limit. Further investigation also revealed Nieves had two passengers in his car under the age of 15.

Michael McLaughlin II, 22, of Cassadaga was charged with operating without seatbelt in use, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and DWI on Friday at 10:55 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the Cherry Lounge for a report of two disorderly patrons refusing to leave. When officers arrived on location, they were notified by the complainant that the two subjects were attempting to leave. Officers did observe a gray Jeep allegedly attempting to leave the area. Officers made contact with the operator of the vehicle, McLaughlin, who allegedly told officers that he and the other subject were attempting to leave after being kicked out of Cherry Lounge. McLaughlin was allegedly not wearing his seatbelt and officers had him complete standardized field sobriety, which he failed, police said. Officers took McLaughlin into custody and transported him to city jail without incident. He did submit to a chemical test and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court on a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WESTFIELD – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies along with Westfield Police served a warrant on Dorothy Freeman, 23, of Westfield for promoting second-degree prison contraband. She was located on Union Street in Westfield and taken into custody without incident and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.

PANAMA – Nicole Coccarelli, 30, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone on Friday at 9 p.m. Sheriff’s patrol stopped Coccarelli on Rock Hill Road in Panama for allegedly speeding. She was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said. She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Harmony Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA – Larry Passinger, 46, of Mayville was charged with failure to keep right, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated felony DWI with a blood alcohol content .18 percent or higher and aggravated DWI with a child under 16 on Sunday at 9:13 p.m. Chautauqua County deputies stopped Passinger for failing to keep right on North Erie Street in Mayville. Upon investigation, Passinger was allegedly found to be intoxicated and had a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle at the time of the stop. A record check showed Passinger had a previous DWI conviction, making this charge a felony. He also had suspended driving privileges in New York. Passinger was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

COLDSPRING – Westley Bennett, 24, of Frewsburg was arrested on an arrest warrant charging him with petit larceny issued out of Coldspring, stemming from an incident that occurred at an earlier date. Bennett was arraigned in Randolph Court and was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail and held on $500 bail. Bennett is due back in Coldspring Court at a later date.

Ralph A. Robbins, 37, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. At approximately 5:04 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Steele Street for failing to keep right. Further investigation revealed that the driver-Robbins-was intoxicated. Robbins was taken into custody without incident and transported to the city jail. A chemical breath test revealed that his blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit. He is currently awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Roy W. Spontaneo, 86, of Frewsburg was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 7:30 p.m., Spontaneo was charged at the Lakewood Wal-Mart for allegedly stealing $7.96 in merchandise. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Alberto J. Acevedo, 23, of Jamestown was charged Friday with petit larceny and trespass. At approximately 11 a.m., Acevedo was charged with taking merchandise from Walmart without paying for it. He was previously warned that he is no longer welcome at Walmart due to previous larcenies.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

EAST OTTO – William E. Corbin, 39, of Otto was charged Monday with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt. At approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies charged Corbin following an incident in East Otto. No further details were released. He will appear in East Otto Court at a later date.

SPRINGVILLE – Jerome M. Hayes, 27, of Buffalo was charged Wednesday on a county court bench warrant at approximately 8:30 p.m. He was received from the United States Marshalls and transported to Cattaraugus County Jail where he is being held without bail.

SALAMANCA – John H. Hudson Jr., 29, of Salamanca was charged Wednesday on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. He was transported to county jail without bail and is due back in court at a later date.

SOUTH DAYTON – Heidi L. Kutschke, 41, of South Dayton was charged on a Cattaraugus County Family Court warrant. Kutschke was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

GREAT VALLEY – Deborah A. Steckler, 48, of Killbuck was charged Wednesday with DWI and unsafe backing. Following a motor vehicle crash at approximately 1 a.m., deputies charged Steckler for being intoxicated. She will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE

SALAMANCA – Katie L. Stebbins, 24, of Salamanca was charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. The charges were the result from an incident where Stebbins sold prescription pills to another person. She appeared in Salamanca Court on Friday.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

LEON – Terri J. Cartalano, 51, of Cattaraugus was charged Wednesday with DWI. State Police stopped to check a disabled vehicle on Route 62 and determined that Cartalano was intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that she had a BAC of .09 percent. She will appear in Leon Court at a later date.

Richard E. Williams Jr., 37, of Hinsdale was charged Friday with first-degree criminal impersonation and second-degree aggravated harassment. The investigation revealed that Williams contacted a women’s employer in Jamestown, attempting to discredit the woman and get her fired. Williams stated on several occasions the he was a New York State Trooper. Williams was arraigned in Jamestown Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail to reappear at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK – Jesse S. Nahrebeski, 19, of Silver Creek was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. At approximately 11:26 p.m., deputies charged Nahrebeski following an incident that occurred on Feb. 1 in which he allegedly stole a ring and a gold necklace which belonged to another person. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Angelique M. Troutman, 35, of Kennedy was charged Thursday at approximately 10 a.m. with third-degree grand larceny. Troutman was employed at the Christopher and Banks clothing store located in Chautauqua Mall. While being employed during 2013, she allegedly processed fraudulent cash returns. Further investigation revealed that the cash amount was $18,500 over the course of the entire year.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Donald N. Michener, 41, of Little Valley was charged Tuesday at approximately 1:15 p.m. with driving while intoxicated and operating an uninspected motor vehicle. He was arraigned in New Albion and is due back in court at a later date.

KENNEDY – Tina M. Loveland, 46, of Dunkirk, was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Route 394. Loveland was transported to the state police in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .13 percent was obtained. Loveland was issued appearance tickets and will appear in Poland Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-Sandra D. Cooper, 36, of Silver Creek, was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault. At approximately 1:48 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival, they observed a female with facial injuries. An investigation found that Cooper allegedly punched the female in the face multiple times which caused the aforementioned injuries. Cooper was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

BEMUS POINT-Matthew E. Olson, 31, of Jamestown, was charged on Jan. 25 with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny. At approximately 11:30 p.m., Olson allegedly entered a residence on North Everett Park Drive by going through the Bilco doors to the basement door. Once inside, Olson reportedly took a cash box with personal property and money inside. Olson was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail or $30,000 property bond.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Melvin J. Berrios, 19, of Dunkirk, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 6 p.m., Berrios was located at the Village Center Plaza in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Mark J. Eppinger, 18, of Lakewood, was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 9 p.m., an officer stopped a car operated by Eppinger for a traffic infraction and discovered marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia inside. Eppiger admitted that the marijuana and paraphernalia belonged to him. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK-Michael J. Koresko, 61, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with failing to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At approximately 1:52 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle that failed to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle. Upon investigation, it was determined that Koresko was intoxicated. He will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Kenneth Ecker, 67, of Mayville, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated common law and DWI per se. At approximately 3:45 p.m., deputies received a report of a possible intoxicated driver leaving the Kwik Fill in Mayville. Upon investigation, it was determined that Ecker was intoxicated. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Richard E. Johnson, 61, of Lakewood, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and inadequate headlights. At approximately 7:53 p.m., a vehicle was traveling westbound on East Summit Avenue with inadequate head lights. Upon stopping the vehicle, deputies found Johnson to be intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Christopher S. Skuggen, 18, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana, speed in zone, drivers view obstructed and unlicensed operator. At approximately 7:29 p.m., an officer allegedly observed a vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon further investigation, Skuggen was found to be unlicensed and in possession of marijuana. His view was also obstructed. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Katie L. Melaro, 31, of Allegany, was charged Friday with endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 5 p.m., Melaro was charged at her residence following an investigation of a domestic dispute that took place there. She will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

Osmond E. Hernandez, 30, of Humphrey, was charged Friday with second-degree aggravated harassment. At approximately 9 p.m., Humphrey was charged on an Olean arrest warrant and was turned over to the Olean Police Department.

Martin W. Twoguns, 30, of Gowanda, was charged Saturday on a family court warrant. At approximately 6:30 p.m., Twoguns was transported to Persia Court for arraignment. He was then remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $750 bail and is due back in court at a later date.

Casey L. Vaughn, 20, of Cattaraugus, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or higher, failure to maintain lane and uninspected motor vehicle. At approximately 11:36 p.m., Vaughn was stopped for driving down the shoulder of Route 353. He was administered a field sobriety test and charged with DWI. He will appear in New Albion Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Lindsey M. Smith, 25, was charged Saturday with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and other traffic charges. Troopers initiated a traffic stop on Falconer Street after observing Smith’s vehicle swerving in and out of the lane. Upon interviewing Smith, troopers detected a strong odor of alcohol. She was transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown for processing and found to have a BAC of .20 percent.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ELLERY-Gary L. Hannold II, 38, of Ellery, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from lane unsafely, felony driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a loud noise on Dutch Hollow Road. Upon investigation, it was determined that Hannold’s vehicle had left the roadway and struck a guard rail. Hannold was located a short distance away and taken into custody for processing. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 17-year-old female was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 3:15 p.m., officers responded to 8 Bowen St. for a disorderly 17-year-old female. Officers arrived on the scene and learned that the teenager had punched a glass picture frame and threw a remote control, causing both items to break during a domestic incident. She was taken into custody and transported to city jail where she is pending arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jonathan DeJesus, 19, and Raymond Nieves, 35, both of Jamestown, were charged on Jan. 28 with petit larceny. Police were called to Wegmans in West Ellicott for two males who reportedly stole property from the store. Both males were issued appearance tickets and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kevin L. Hardee, 17, of Dunkirk, was charged Saturday with petit larceny, unlawful possession of marijuana and four counts of fifth-degree possession of stolen property. At approximately 6 p.m., police were dispatched to Olympia Sports in the Village Center Plaza for a larceny in progress. Before officers arrived, it is alleged that Hardee fled the scene with a stolen pair of Timberland boots. Hardee was located a short distance away. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FREDONIA – Jason D. White, 34, of Fredonia was charged Thursday with probation warrant and third-degree possession of a weapon. At approximately 7:40 p.m., deputies responded to 4546 W. Main St. in an attempt to locate White, who had an active probation warrant for third-degree possession of a weapon. Upon arrival, deputies found that White had locked himself inside his residence and failed to respond. White eventually gave up after K-9 warnings to surrender. White was transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

MINA – Patti A. Smith, 53, of Findley Lake was charged Monday with moving from lane unsafely, unregistered motor vehicle, improper plates, felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At approximately 7:36 p.m., Smith’s vehicle was located off the roadway in a field. Further investigation revealed that Smith was intoxicated. A check of Smith’s driving record revealed that she had a prior conviction for DWI, making this a felony. She was remanded in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

ASHVILLE – Sean P. Reardon, 52, of Ashville was charged Tuesday with failure to keep right, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At approximately 7 a.m., deputies investigated an accident scene on Hoag Road where a Dodge Dakota was unoccupied. Reardon was eventually located at his residence. He will appear in Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Steven J. Leach, 36, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 11:10 p.m., police were called to 14 Flagg Ave. for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers met the victim at the driveway of the residence who stated that her boyfriend was highly intoxicated and breaking up the inside of the residence. Further investigation revealed that Leach reportedly pushed a dresser over in the wall during an argument, putting two holes into the wall. Leach is pending arraignment at Jamestown City Jail.

Jabon P. Johnson, 35, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fugitive from justice and second-degree criminal impersonation. At approximately 8:34 p.m., officers performed a street check on a male subject walking in the middle of Maple at Camp streets. The male subject provided officers with a false name and date of birth. Johnson was discovered to be wanted in North Carolina on outstanding felony charges. He was transported to city jail without incident.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Michael A. Woodward, 32, of Celoron was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. At approximately 8:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a Celoron group home, where it is alleged that a resident of the home grabbed, pushed and shoved another resident earlier in the evening. Woodward will appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

Patricia A. Pearson, 38, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. Pearson was taken into custody due to an incident that occurred at K-Mart in early December. It is alleged that Pearson stole approximately $211 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying for it. Pearson had fled the scene before police arrived. She was remanded in Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Amanda J. Mecca, 29, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 7:17 p.m., Mecca was charged at the Lakewood Wal-Mart after she allegedly stole $141.26 in merchandise from the store. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Gretchen L. Raynor, 26, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 10 p.m., Raynor allegedly stole $45.40 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

A 17-year-old Randolph female was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 10 p.m., Meacham was caught after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She will appear in Busti Court on Feb. 13.

Steven J. Whalen, 26, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with probation warrant. At approximately 9:40 p.m., an arrest warrant was faxed to the Chautauqua County Jail for Whalen due to a probation violation. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WEST VALLEY – Scott A. Kelley, 34, of Ellicottville was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny. At approximately 8:20 p.m., Kelley was charged after an investigation into an incident that occurred at 9342 Route 240 in Ashford. Kelley was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail with bail set at $15,000 or $25,000 bond. He will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.

RANDOLPH – Two 17-year-old females were charged on Jan. 22 with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies charged the two females who reside at the Randolph Children’s Home. They were transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of bail.
