CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
ELLICOTT – James D. Adams, 23, of Jamestown was charged at 5:08 a.m. on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, aggravated driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and passing through a red light. According to police, Adams was westbound on Route 394 in Ellicott when he passed through a red light, nearly striking a patrol car. Adams was issued appearance tickets and will be in court at a later date.
BEMUS POINT – Brooke M. Blanchard, 33, of South Erie Street, Mayville was charged at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The sheriff’s office had been investigating several burglaries which occurred in February on Overlook Avenue. A search warrant was executed on Blanchard’s apartment and located several items taken from two residences in Bemus Point. She is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date. The investigation is ongoing.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Robert C. Burch, 43, of Big Tree Road, Jamestown was charged with criminal mischief after it was determined he allegedly keyed or scratched the side of a vehicle not belonging to him while it was parked at Southwestern High School.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Luz M. Martinez, 34, of Cresent Street, Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Martinez was taken into custody on a warrant for an incident May 5 at the Deb in Chautauqua Mall in which she and a co-defendant were found in possession of stolen merchandise. Martinez is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SHERMAN – Barbara J. Wright, 71, of Oak Park, Ill., was charged at 5:33 p.m. on Thursday for driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se and unsafe backing. Deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident and observed a disabled vehicle in the ditch on Clymer-Sherman Road in the town of Sherman. Police learned Wright was attempting to back into the driveway to turn herself around when she failed to negotiate the driveway and entered the ditch. Wright was later found to be allegedly intoxicated and was taken into custody. She was processed and released with appearance tickets. Wright will be in court at a later date.
HANOVER – Melissa Filock, 26, of Chicago, was charged at 2:16 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to stop at a stop sign. Deputies observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign on Iola Drive in Sunset Bay. Filock was identified as the driver and was allegedly found to be intoxicated. She was issued traffic tickets and will be in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Alexa White, 22, of Dunkirk was charged at 2:30 a.m. on Monday for driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content .08 percent or greater, red light infraction, failure to keep right and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies observed a vehicle on Alleghany Road fail to stop prior to the stop line at the intersection with Routes 5 and 20. Deputies followed the suspect which then failed to keep right. Following a traffic stop, White was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Due to White’s license status, she also was charged with felony driving while intoxicated. She was released with traffic tickets and will be in Hanover Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Zachery J. Sauberan, 18, and Jordan L. Chamberlin, 18, both of Sinclairville, were charged with petit larceny. Both men were taken into custody for allegedly stealing property from an Ellicott business. Sauberan and Chamberlin were issued appearance tickets to appear in court at a later date.
Carmen M. Bonilla, 42, of West 12th Street, Jamestown was charged on Saturday with petit larceny. Police responded to a shoplifting incident at Kmart where store loss prevention observed a female attempting to leave with unpaid merchandise. Employees were able to stop Bonilla and recover the property, but she fled the scene in a white Jeep. Police and the Sheriff’s Office located Bonilla on Hunt Road and was later identified as the shoplifter by store employees. She was arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Crystal L. Spencer, 29, of Swan Street was charged at 1:53 a.m. on Monday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right. Officers observed a vehicle swerve into the oncoming traffic lane and failure to keep right. Spencer was allegedly found to be intoxicated following a traffic stop. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where her blood alcohol content was found to be almost twice the legal limit. Spencer was released on tickets.
Keishla M. Santiago, 23, was charged at 7:25 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and second-degree harassment. Wilfredo I. Lugo, 24, and a 17-year-old male were charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded to a report of a fight on Prendergast Avenue. Police found five people attempting to forcefully remove children and property from a residence. During the incident Santiago allegedly slapped a male while holding a 2-year-old child and resisted arrest. All were transported to Jamestown City Jail. Two juvenile suspects involved were turned over to their parents.
Harry G. Ratliff, 42, was charged at 1:39 a.m. on Sunday with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Officers responded to WCA Hospital for a report of petit larceny. Police learned Ratliff stole a cell phone while waiting to be released from care. Police were able to find Ratliff at his residence and located the phone. He was taken into custody, transported to city jail without incident and was awaiting arraignment.

Maritza I. Hernandez, 24, of East Second Street, Jamestown was charged at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Hernandez was taken into custody on a warrant following an incident at the Deb Shop in the Chautauqua Mall on May 5 where she and a co-defendant were allegedly in possession of stolen merchandise as they exited the mall. She will be in Busti Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
John M. Grilla, 26, was charged at 10:53 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, driving with ability impaired, failure to keep right, possession of a hypodermic needle and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers were notified of an accident and observed Grilla unresponsive. Grilla was found to be in possession of three controlled substances and was found to have operated his vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He was transported to WCA Hospital for medical care and will return to Jamestown City Court for arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – A 17-year-old male from Silver Creek was charged at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday for fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies took the youth into custody for intentionally damaging property of another person. The youth allegedly became irate and broke two chairs that did not belong to him, police said. He was arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
SINCLAIRVILLE – Dustin R. Spencer, 19, of South Dayton, was charged at 8:04 p.m. on Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol. Deputies stopped Spencer for allegedly speeding on Park Street in Sinclairville. He was discovered to be in possession of 12 bags of marijuana and alcohol. Spencer was issued appearance tickets and released.

Erik Nollinger, 34, of Sinclairville, was charged Saturday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of marijuana and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Ashley Miller, 22, of Sinclairville, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers conducted a road check on Route 394 in West Ellicott and could smell marijuana coming from Miller’s vehicle. She was removed from the vehicle and was found in possession of partially smoked marijuana cigarettes and a jar containing marijuana. Troopers searched the vehicle and found 50 grams of marijuana in the center console, a box containing 236 grams of marijuana on the rear seat, a digital scale, numerous baggies and 1.2 ounces of concentrated cannabis. Nollinger admitted ownership of the contraband inside the vehicle and was transported to police barracks in Jamestown. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to County Jail. Miller was issued an appearance ticket.
FRENCH CREEK – Brendon Messenger, 21, of Clymer, and a 17-year-old from North East, Pa., were charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, four counts of petit larceny and four counts of trespassing. Troopers responded in April to King Road in French Creek for a report of subjects rummaging through campers and vehicles. Security at Peek’n Peak Resort spotted Messenger and the youth. Several residents had reported jewelry, money and prescription medication stolen from their unlocked vehicles. Both men were processed at police barracks and issued appearance tickets.
SHERIDAN – James Stelmack, 68, was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated. Troopers observed Stelmack driving over the center line three times and later failed field sobriety tests. He was processed at police barracks, where his BAC was found to be .13 percent. Stelmack was issued tickets and released.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Tory C. Arrance, 24, was charged at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Officers were on patrol on Kinney Street when they noticed a vehicle that appeared to have been in an accident sitting in the middle of the street with no one around. Arrance was allegedly found to have been driving a vehicle that he took from a family member without permission and crashed into a parked car then fled the scene. He was taken into custody and was found to be intoxicated and had a revoked license. Arrance was being held pending arraignment.

KIANTONE – Justin R. Samuelson, 27, of Prendergast Avenue, Jamestown was charged at 11:12 a.m. on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding. Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Busti-Stillwater Road in Kiantone. Samuelson was taken into custody after an investigation for allegedly being intoxicated. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Carl E. Weidner, 37, of East Main Street, Corry, Pa., was taken into custody at 1 p.m. on Wednesday on two warrants for petit larceny. On April 20 and May 16, Weidner allegedly entered Wal-Mart and selected merchandise and attempted to return items without paying for them. He is due in Busti Court on May 28 for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
POMFRET – Michael P. Ohara, 38, of Lakeview was charged with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and covered/dirty/unreadable license plate at 1:13 a.m. Friday. Patrolmen observed a vehicle traveling west on Berry Road, swerving within the travel lane. The vehicle was stopped and Ohara was identified as the driver. Following an investigation, Ohara was taken into custody and later released. He will appear in Town of Pomfret Court at a later date.
HANOVER – A 17-year-old female from Silver Creek was observed loitering on Town of Hanover Beach on South Shore Drive at 1:15 a.m. Saturday. The subject was in violation of curfew and issued an appearance ticket for Town of Hanover Court.
HANOVER – An 18-year-old female from Silver Creek was charged with underage possession of alcohol at 1:15 a.m. Saturday on Town of Hanover Beach on South Shore Drive. The subject was issued an appearance ticket for Town of Hanover Court.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
NEW ALBION – Jeffrey A. Schosek, 30, of 7778 Route 353, Cattaraugus was charged at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief on a warrant issued from New Albion Town Court. He was arraigned and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in New Albion Court on Tuesday.
RANDOLPH – Zachary D. Ellis, 29, of 57 Wisteria Drive, Fredonia was charged with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, stop/standing on a highway and failure to maintain lane after a traffic stop on Cemetery Street in Randolph at 11:28 p.m. Wednesday. He is due back in Town of Randolph Court at a later date.
CARROLLTON – Larry A. Zimbardi, 57, of 5797 Windfall Road, Carrollton was charged with second-degree criminal mischief following an incident that occurred at 5:30 p.m. May 12. He was arraigned in Carrolltown Town Court and will appear back at a later date.
MACHIAS – Renee L. Preston, 42, of 11456 Route 98, Sandusky was charged with violation of probation on Route 16 in Machias at 12:15 p.m. Thursday. She was taken to Cattaraugus County Jail to be arraigned at a later time in Cattaraugus County Court.
LITTLE VALLEY – Vincent Michael Gray, 35, of 113078 Partridge Road, Holland was charged on a Family Court warrant Friday in Cattaraugus County Court. He was arraigned and taken to county jail with bail set at $1,500.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Dennis J. Hindman, 41, of 628 Prendergast Ave., Jamestown was charged on Thursday with second-degree criminal mischief. The Ellicott Police Department received a report of a large amount of damage done to a West Ellicott residence from Feb. 15 to March 27. Police learned that Hindman had been staying in the residence and during that time period had allegedly done approximately $10,000 in damage to the property. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Hindman and he was located by police, was arraigned and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
Christopher A. Marker, 27, of 3 S. Alberta St., Falconer was charged on Thursday with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The town of Ellicott Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at a village of Falconer residence. Upon investigation, Marker was charged and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
Gary V. Rasmussen, 43, of 15 Conewango Ave., Celoron was charged on Thursday with criminal trespass, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Officers were called to the Southwestern Central Middle School where it was reported a parent had become disorderly and combative. Upon arrival, officers found Rasmussen to be agitated and distraught. According to police, he allegedly entered the school and began yelling profanities and threats at the staff. He refused to leave the property after being requested to do so by staff. He was charged, arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Lonnie B. Witcher Jr., 32, of Jamestown was charged at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and unnecessary noise. A vehicle with a loud stereo was observed on Barrett Avenue. Following an investigation, Witcher was found to have a combination of 35 revocations and suspensions on his New York state driving record. He was arrested, charged and will be arraigned in the Jamestown City Court.
Joshua D. Whalen, 23, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, third-degree assault and second-degree harassment Friday at 9:56 p.m. Officers were called to 245 Barrows St. for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, an individual was observed outside of the residence and when the individual observed officers, he ran back into the residence. Officers learned that Whalen had assaulted a family member, damaged property inside the residence and was hiding. He was located in the attic space and refused to exit. Whalen was then physically secured from the attic by officers and an attempt to take him into custody was made. Whalen continued to be uncooperative and started spitting at officers. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
Patrick A. Carson, 25, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, DWI per se, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from lane unsafely, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana at 4:30 a.m. Friday. Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of South Main Street and Sabin Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with heavy damage in the middle of South Main Street. Witnesses told police that the driver of the vehicle hit two cars that were legally parked and then fled the scene and hid in a nearby wooded area. Witnesses then located the driver and brought him back to the scene. Carson was found to be intoxicated and after being taken into custody, he became disorderly and tried running from officers on two occasions. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and during the accident investigation, a small amount of marijuana was found on the driver’s side seat of his vehicle. A check showed three separate DWI convictions in the past 10 years making the current charge a felony.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
WESTFIELD – Brenda L. Horr, 33, of 7571 Locust Drive, Westfield was charged at 7:05 a.m. on Wednesday with third-degree criminal mischief. Westfield police and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department were called to a domestic dispute between Horr and her husband at their residence. Upon arrival, officers could see extensive damage to a car belonging to Horr’s husband. After a short investigation, it was found that Horr had caused the damage to the vehicle by smashing the roof and hood with a rock, scratching the sides and then by jumping on the roof of the car. Horr was located a short time later and was taken into custody and charged. She was arraigned in the Town of Westfield Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
WESTFIELD – Sergio L. Dros, 22, of Rochester was charged at 1:55 a.m. on Wednesday with petit larceny. Police on patrol in the village of Westfield noticed a suspicious male at the intersection of Market and Clinton streets. That male was found to be Dros. Upon investigation, Dros was found to have a warrant out of the village of Westfield Court. He was placed into custody in the village of Westfield, arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County jail in lieu of bail.

A 16-year-old and 13-year-old were charged at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for petit larceny. Officers responded to Dollar General on West Main Street in Falconer. Store staff had detained two Falconer youths for allegedly taking candy bars and Bic lighters from the store without paying. The 16-year-old will be in Ellicott Court at a later date while the 13-year-old will be petitioned to Family Court.
Tayler A. Moore, 23, of Townline Road, was charged at 1:20 a.m. on May 10 for driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se and failure to maintain lane. Police stopped Moore for failure to maintain lane. He was later found to be intoxicated. Moore is scheduled to be in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Marie E. Young, 26, of East Everett Avenue, Falconer, was taken into custody on a warrant May 3 for allegedly harassing another subject while in the town of Ellicott. Young will be in court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY – Sean P. Reardon, 51, of Hogg Road, Ashville, was charged at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and speeding in a zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 394 for speeding. Reardon was found to have a revoked driver’s license for a prior drug-related driving offense. He was taken into custody and released to appear back in court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Misty R. Simko, 29, of Mayville was charged at 5:03 p.m. on Monday with petit larceny. Simko was observed placing 16 pairs of panties into her purse at Victoria’s Secret in Chautauqua Mall then leaving the store without paying. Simko was confronted by police once outside the store and charged.
Mark G. Watson, 23, of Dunham Avenue, Celoron, was taken into custody at 1 p.m. on Monday on a violation of probation filed by Busti Court. Watson was arraigned and will be in court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SALAMANCA – Mark E. Hajnos, 29, of Grand Island was charged at 5:18 a.m. on May 10 with trespassing. Hajnos was found on property after he was told not to return while at the Seneca Allegany Casino. He was taken into custody and released on an appearance ticket.
OLEAN – Randy J. Kenyon, 35, of Barry Street, Olean was taken into custody at 6 p.m. on May 10 at his residence on a warrant issued from Olean police. Kenyon was taken to Olean Police Department and turned over for further processing.
OLEAN – Jenna L. Kincaid, 27, of Alder Street was charged at 3:30 p.m. on May 8 with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny and two counts of offering a false instrument for filing. Kincaid was issued appearance tickets and is accused of failing to report that the father of her children lived in the household and had income. Kincaid received $1,983 in food stamps to which she was not entitled.

SO. TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE
Michael T. Gibson, 34, of 533 LaSalle Ave., Buffalo, and currently in the Chautauqua County Jail, was charged on Monday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance on an outstanding warrant that was issued by the Chautauqua County Court as a result of a secret grand jury based on information presented by the Chautauqua County district attorney from the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Gibson had sold quantities of crack cocaine to agents of the task force in the city of Dunkirk. He is currently being held in the County Jail on other charges and will be arraigned before the county court.

Shana L. Curry, of Willard Street, Jamestown, was charged at 11:40 a.m. on Friday with petit larceny. Police learned Curry stole $85.95 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue. She was issued an appearance ticket and will be back in court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jay R. Peck, 33, of Walnut Street, Jamestown, was charged at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded for a possible burglary in progress. A female subject was observed inside the residence and detained for investigation. Peck also was located. Police learned a valid order of protection existed for Peck to stay away from the female subject. He was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
James S. Mattie, 40, of Georgia, was charged at 11:22 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate brake lamps. Officers observed a vehicle with inadequate brake lights. Mattie was found to be intoxicated and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. Mattie refused a chemical test and was found to have his driving privileges suspended in New York state. He was awaiting arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
JAMESTOWN – Carla J. Cameron, 41, of Lakewood, was charged at 2:26 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated and inadequate directional signals. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Falconer Street for turning without using a signal. Cameron was later found to be intoxicated and her turn signal lamp was not functioning properly. Cameron was taken into custody for processing and released. Additional charges are pending results of a chemical blood test.
PORTLAND – Scott Stein, 28, of Brocton, was charged at 2:25 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law, driving while intoxicated per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal a turn and failure to stop at a stop sign. Deputies observed a vehicle fail to stop at an intersection and failed to signal the turn. During an investigation, Stein was found to be intoxicated and had a suspended license. He will be in court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA – Kimberly L. Ferguson, 28, of Price Street, Jamestown, was charged at 2:53 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content .08 percent or greater and speeding. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 430 for speeding. Ferguson was later found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody, released with uniform traffic tickets and will be back in court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Nicole Parson, 25, of Kiantone Road, Jamestown, was charged at 1:09 a.m. Tuesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies were checking a suspicious vehicle on Gerry-Levant Road in the town of Ellicott. Parson was found to have her driving privileges revoked for a previous alcohol-related incident. A small quantity of marijuana was found during the investigation as well as an open container of alcohol. She was issued appearance tickets and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

FREDONIA – Stephanie Sipp, 31, of Dunkirk, was charged at 3:15 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated. Troopers stopped a vehicle following a traffic stop on Route 20 for moving over the white fog line. Sipp was taken into custody after failing sobriety tests; her blood alcohol content was found to be .10 percent. She will be in Sheridan Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK – Andrew Pesicek was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Troopers made a traffic stop on Route 60 in the town of Dunkirk for a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps. Pesicek was found to have a suspended license and a small baggie containing marijuana. He was issued tickets and will be in Dunkirk Court at a later date.
SHERIDAN – John Ley Jr., 46, of Dunkirk, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated. Troopers stopped Ley for having inadequate plate lamps, going over the fog line, and his passenger was observed throwing a cigarette out of the window. Police said Ley failed sobriety tests. LITTLE VALLEY – Frank A. Nuttall III, 39, of 108 Mill St., Little Valley, was charged at 5:15 a.m. Thursday with unlawful growing of marijuana plants. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant, assisted by Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies at the address. Nuttall was charged and a large number of marijuana plants, processed and packaged marijuana, cash and narcotics were seized. He will appear in Little Valley Court to answer the charges at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
POMFRET – Jeramie Klahn, 36, of Fredonia was charged at 2:22 a.m. on May 4 with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se .08 percent blood alcohol content or higher and failure to keep right. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Berry Road which was observed crossing over the center line. Klahn was found to be the operator and further investigation allegedly found him to be intoxicated. He was arrested, released with traffic tickets and is to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date to answer the charges.
HANOVER – Ryan A. Davis, 23, of 57 Center St., Angola, was charged at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, with third-degree criminal tampering stemming from an incident that occurred on May 6 in the town of Hanover. Davis tampered with the property of another person with intent to cause substantial inconvenience. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in court at a later date.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
WARREN – Robert Nelson, of 11 Garden Lane, and John Jarjabka Jr., of 14 Glenwood St., both of Warren, were charged at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday with simple assault. The incident occurred as Nelson and Jarjabka went to the trailer of a Warren resident and allegedly assaulted him. The assault occurred because a third party told Nelson and Jarjabka that the Warren resident struck her in the face.
WARREN – A 9-year-old female who is a fourth-grade pupil in Warren was charged at 3:33 p.m. on Thursday with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault. Pennsylvania State Troopers responded to the Warren Area High School lower parking lot for a reported emergency situation involving a fully loaded school bus (kindergarten through 12th grade). The 9-year-old was told several times by the bus driver to sit in her assigned seat, but she refused. She was then encountered by a 17-year-old Warren High School student who asked the 9-year-old to move to her assigned seat on the school bus so the 17-year-old could leave. The 9-year-old refused to move and when confronted by the 17-year-old, she pulled a pair of point scissors and proceeded to point at and threaten the 17-year-old with physical harm. Investigation continues. Warren City Police officers assisted at the scene.

SALAMANCA – Caleb K. Groff, 31, of Salamanca was charged at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment, following an incident that occurred in the city of Salamanca.
SALAMANCA – David E. Pennell, 29, of Salamanca was charged at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday with criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt following an incident that occurred in the city of Salamanca. Pennell is being held awaiting arraignment.
SALAMANCA – Sheila D. Grimes, 20, of 19 Herman St., Salamanca was charged at 9:06 a.m. on Wednesday with two counts of second-degree harassment and one count of criminal contempt. She was arraigned and released. She is to return to Salamanca Court at a later date.
SALAMANCA – An underage Salamanca female was charged at 9:13 a.m. on Wednesday with two counts of second-degree harassment and one count of criminal contempt. She was arraigned and released and is to return to Salamanca City Court at a later date.
SALAMANCA – Cindy L. Mix, 36, of 33 Catherine Drive, Salamanca, was charged at 8:04 p.m. on Wednesday, with having inadequate shelter for her dog. She was given an appearance ticket and is to report in Salamanca City Court at a later date.
SALAMANCA – Justin M. Oakes, 27, of Elm St., Bradford, was charged at 11 p.m. on Wednesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was given an appearance ticket and is to report to Salamanca City Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Peter D. Torres Jr., 21, and Ashley A. Maher, 25, both of 50 School St., W.E., Jamestown, were charged at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful growing of marijuana. The Ellicott Police Department executed a search warrant at 50 School St. for an alleged marijuana growing operation in the residence. Officers seized 77 marijuana plants, a quantity of processed marijuana and a number of pieces of equipment used in the growing operation. During the investigation, it was found that, along with Torres and Maher, three young children also resided in the household. Torres and Maher turned themselves into Ellicott Court with their attorney, posted the set bail and were released. Further charges are pending.
FALCONER – Bruce L. Miller, 22, of 235 W. Main St., Apt. 8, Falconer, was charged on May 9 with second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 3:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, Ellicott Police responded to a vehicle fire behind an apartment building off South Phetteplace Street. While conducting the investigation into the fire, officers observed paint all over the road and curbing from a paint can found a short distance away. Officers were able to determine that the can had been thrown out of the third-story window onto the street, but could not locate the tenants of the apartment. Miller had allegedly thrown the paint can out of his third-story apartment window onto the street and a warrant was filed. On May 9, he was located in the city of Jamestown, was taken into custody on the warrant, was arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail. The vehicle fire was ruled arson and is still under investigation.
FALCONER – Fernando Velazquez-Nazario, 26, of 216 E. Second St., Apt. 14, Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny Thursday. At 8:15 a.m. on Monday, April 29, the Ellicott Police Department responded to the CVS store in Falconer for a male who had allegedly stolen a cellphone from the store. Police used the store surveillance video to identify the suspect and on May 9 were able to locate Fernando Velazquez-Nazario in Jamestown. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Ellicott Court on a later date.
Marc A. Girts, 24, of 1554 Buffalo St. Extension, Jamestown, was charged at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the parking lot off of Fairmount Avenue. Girts approached a male victim, threw him to the ground and struck him in the face with a closed fist. Girts sought medical treatment in Warren for the minor injuries he sustained. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Herbert J. Michels, 55, of King Road, Forestville was charged at 7:43 p.m. on Wednesday with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle without interlock and speed violation. Deputies observed a vehicle on King Road traveling at a high rate of speed. An investigation revealed Michels was allegedly intoxicated. Michels was found to have a revoked license for a prior DWI conviction. He was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jose R. Melendez-Rosario, 30, of West 15th St., Jamestown, was charged at 11 a.m. on Thursday with petit larceny. Melendez-Rosario was taken into custody stemming from a warrant for petit larceny. Police said he fled from Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue with $321.61 in merchandise. He is due back in court at a later date.

Edward Timblin, 49, of Lafayette Street was charged on May 3 with second-degree possession of a forged instrument, two counts of petit larceny and third-degree unlawful possession of a personal information number. Police took a report from a resident that had discovered several unauthorized charges on her banking account. Police were able to track the transactions and obtained security video from several locations where the purchases were made. Timblin allegedly used a card belonging to the victim without permission. He was arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Steven D. Johnson was charged at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police stopped Johnson’s vehicle for a traffic infraction. An investigation found Johnson in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was issued appearance tickets and release, and will be in Busti Court at a later date.

HINSDALE – Jason M. Giberson, 37, was charged at 7:45 p.m. on May 4 with second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation. Giberson was arraigned in Hinsdale Court.
FRANKLINVILLE – Jandrew M. Terwiliger, 20, was charged at 10:50 p.m. on Sunday with criminal possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance out of its original container. Terwiliger was arraigned in Franklinville Court and transported to jail.
KILL BUCK – Olivar Gonzalez-Iriarte, 44, of Salamanca was taken into custody on May 4 on a Family Court violation issued by Cattaraugus County. He was arraigned in Carrollton Court and is due back in Family Court at a later date.
ASHFORD – Nolan Przybyciel, 21, of Hamburg was charged at 10:08 a.m. on May 4 with driving while intoxicated common law, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding in a zone. He was taken to Ellicottville Police Department and released to a third party.

Christine M. Kinser, 33, of Lakeview Avenue, Jamestown was charged Saturday with aggravated harassment. Police received a complaint of harassment in the village of Celoron. An investigation found Kinser allegedly threatened to kill an ex-boyfriend over the phone. Kinser was arraigned in Ellicott Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
Thomas M. Giambruno, 50, of Briarwood Drive, Lakewood was charged Friday with failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated per se and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Police responded to a property damage accident in West Ellicott. Giambruno will appear in court at a later date.
William J. Giambelluca, 23, of Mosher Street, Falconer was charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny. Giambelluca was found to have allegedly stolen firearms from a residence on two occasions. He was arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Justin M. Main, 30, of Charles Street, was charged at 12:20 a.m. on Monday with felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Police learned Main allegedly engaged in a physical dispute with a female victim prior to officers’ arrival. During their investigation, Main dropped a switchblade knife from his pocket. After being taken into custody, Main was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

Randall J. Langworthy, 30, was charged at 9 p.m. on Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and criminal obstruction of breathing. Officers responded to Cherry Street for a possible domestic incident. Langworthy was found to have allegedly choked and damaged property of a victim and refused to leave. Langworthy was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
Luis D. Santana-Lazuranis, 19, was charged at 6:10 a.m. on Sunday with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and unlawful imprisonment. Officers responded for a domestic violence incident. Police learned Santana-Lazuranis restrained a female victim and damaged several items belonging to her. When the victim attempted to call police, the Jamestown resident allegedly took her cellphone. Santana-Lazuranis was later located and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was awaiting arraignment.
Eugene V. Lesak Jr., 46, was taken into custody at 1 p.m. on Friday for two outstanding bench warrants. Upon investigating, police learned there was a valid order of protection against Lesak with someone present at his location. He was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Lesak was being held pending arraignment.
Alberto Santiago, 40, was charged at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday with aggravated family offense, aggravated criminal contempt, two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, unlawful imprisonment and criminal trespassing. Officers responded for a report of an unwanted individual. Police learned the victim had a valid order of protection against Santiago. He was taken into custody, where the victim later said Santiago threatened her with a knife and entered her apartment and stayed after being told to leave. Santiago was being held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Christine L. Hawkins was charged at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday with harassment and disorderly conduct. Police responded for a fight with about 15 people gathering. Police learned Hawkins made threats and act in an alarming manner toward another person. She was arraigned in Busti Court and released. Hawkins will be back in court at a later date.
Maritza I. Hernandez, 24, of Jamestown, was charged at 5 p.m. on Sunday with disorderly conduct. Police were sent to Chautauqua Mall for a shoplifting incident. During their investigation, Hernandez continued to use obscene language, police said. She was issued appearance tickets and is due in court at a later date.
Joseph J. Thayer, 36, of Jamestown, was charged at 12:50 p.m. on Monday with petit larceny. Thayer was observed leaving Wal-Mart without paying for $60.25 in merchandise. He was stopped and detained by Wal-Mart employees. Thayer was issued appearance tickets and will be in court at a later date.
Melissa A. Sweeny, 40, of Ashville, was charged at 2:30 p.m. on Monday with third-degree assault. Sweeny was taken into custody on a warrant stemming from an incident in the town of Busti where police said she assaulted another female, causing injury. Sweeny will be back in court at a later date.

ELLERY – Meryl A. Roush, 28, of Ellicottville, was charged at 5:23 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se. Deputies responded to a property damage accident but were unable to find anyone. Roush was later located. She will be in court at a later date.
PORTLAND – Ari Paff, 29, of Brocton, was charged at 2:29 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to use a turn signal. Deputies observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn. Paff was later found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was released and will be in court at a later date.

Samuel O. Stewart, 27, was charged at 12:09 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and speeding in a zone. Police conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle exceeding the speed limit. Stewart failed several sobriety tests and was determined to be intoxicated. Stewart was taken into custody and provided a breath sample that was more than twice the legal limit. He was released on uniform traffic tickets.
Robert J. Micciche, 59, was charged at 2:20 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, failure to keep right and suspended registration. Police conducted a traffic stop on Foote Avenue and Camp Street after observing a vehicle cross the center line. Micciche was found to be intoxicated and provided a breath test that showed his blood alcohol content to be almost twice the legal limit. He was released on uniform traffic tickets.

GERRY – Jacob L. Meier, 25, of Falconer, was charged at 2:04 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding. Deputies took Meier into custody after stopping him for speeding on Route 60 in the town of Gerry. He was released and will be in court at a later date.
POMFRET – David J. Belovarac Jr., 22, of Bemus Point, was charged at 4:15 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to maintain lane. Deputies took Belovarac into custody after he was observed swerving out of his lane while on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret. He was released and will be in court at a later date.

Syvel L. Fields, 18, was charged at 12:33 a.m. on Thursday with second-degree burglary, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers responded to Fulton Street for a report of a burglary in progress. Police said Fields unlawfully entered a residence through a window using a ladder. Fields refused to leave the residence and was later take into custody without incident. Fields was awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

NORTH HARMONY – Kassandra Prunty, 25, of Jamestown, on Wednesday was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers were dispatched to the Ashville General Store to investigate a complaint of an individual smoking marijuana in the parking lot. Prunty was found to be in possession of 2 grams of marijuana and was issued appearance tickets. She will be in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPT.
David A. Spunaugle, 37, of Jamestown was charged at 12:08 a.m. on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, unsafe backing, aggravated unlicensed operation, inadequate muffler and operating with no license. Jamestown police officers observed a vehicle backing onto the roadway of Weeks and Falconer streets and with a loud muffler. Officer made a traffic stop and spoke with Spunaugle, the vehicle operator. After further investigation and a series of field sobriety tests, it was determined that Spunaugle was intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he submitted to a chemical breath test that revealed his blood alcohol content to be almost three times the legal limit. Spunaugle is currently awaiting arraignment in the Jamestown City Jail.
Ramiro Villarreal, 55, of Lakewood was charged at 7:41 p.m. on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, inadequate exhaust, failure to submit to pre-screen and also a breath test. Officers stopped a vehicle East Second and Stafford streets for loud exhaust. During the investigation, officers discovered Villarreal to be allegedly intoxicated. He was arrested and refused to take the breath prescreen and test. A license check showed a previous conviction for driving while intoxicated within 10 years, making this a felony DWI. Villarreal was charged and is in city jail awaiting arraignment.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPT.
Daniel K. Dunmore, 22, of Washington Street was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment. Officers on April 26 at 3:30 p.m. issued Dunmore appearance tickets after allegedly committing acts over a period of time that annoyed his neighbor and neighbor’s daughter.
Thomas Nellis, 52, of Cass Street was charged at 2:45 p.m. on April 28 for third-degree assault. Officers responded to Westfield Hospital for a victim that involved in a domestic incident. Police learned Nellis allegedly punched the victim in the face with a closed fist, causing bleeding and swelling. Nellis was arraigned in Westfield Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
Garett Bowen, 20, of Ripley, was charged at 12:55 a.m. on April 28 for failure to keep right and back seat passenger not wearing a seat belt. A 16-year-old male also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and open container of alcohol. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction. A youth was found to be in possession of marijuana and a container of alcohol. Both will be in court at a later date.

Wyland, 55, of 808 Thomas Lane, Angola was charged at 10:08 p.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated over .08 percent blood alcohol content, failure to keep right, inadequate headlights and an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, after a traffic stop on the Leon-New Albion Road in the town of Leon. He was processed, released on uniform traffic tickets and is due back in the town of Leon Court at a later date.
