CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - STOCKTON -- A woman is facing charges after leaving three animals abandoned at a location on Route 380. Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department reported Thursday it received an animal complaint on July 2. Through an investigation it was determined that Katherine Gonzalez, 42, who deputies reported as homeless, did abandon a dog and two cats at a residence with no means of care. Gonzalez was charged with overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; failure to provide proper sustenance and abandonment of animals. She will be in town court later. - ...

Kessler, 40, of Sinclairville, was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, DWI and DWI per se at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday after deputies pulled a vehicle over on Alleghany Road and Iola Drive.
