JAMESTOWN POLICE - Todd Dellahoy Jr., 28, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers on patrol saw Dellahoy Jr. riding a bicycle knowing he had outstanding warrants for his arrest. Dellahoy Jr. was charged without incident, and officers reported allegedly finding Dellahoy Jr. in possession of fentanyl. Dellahoy Jr. was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Shakira L. Cuevas-Garcia, 23, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and other violations. At approximately 4:05 a.m. Sunday, officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East Second Street and Hopkins Avenue. A subsequent investigation revealed that Cuevas-Garcia was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Cuevas-Garcia was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. A Jamestown man has been sentenced for his guilty plea involving drug charges. District Attorney Jason Schmidt announced Monday that 33-year-old Jamal Jackson was sentenced to a total of 6 years in state prison with 5 years of post-release supervision by Judge David W. Foley after being convicted of fourth-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Jami Slater, 35, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs at 10:40 p.m. July 24 after officers responded to a request to check the well being of a person at the Tim Hortons restaurant in Brooklyn Square after it was reported there was a woman in a car slumped over the steering wheel. Slater was charged, arraigned and released to be in court later.
