Fredonia woman charged after thefts from nursing home patients

DUNKIRK - A Fredonia woman has been charged after a months-long investigation into the theft of funds from nursing home patients. Around April 22, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Investigators received a complaint regarding the issue at a facility in the town of Dunkirk. Investigators later charged Stacey Fadale, 45, with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records. Falconer man pleads guilty to child porn production

A Falconer resident has pleaded guilty to producing child pornography just as his trial was underway. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Wednesday that 27-year-old Yusef E. Malik Myrick pleaded guilty to four counts of production of child pornography before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. following opening arguments in his federal jury trial. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, a maximum of 30 years, and a $250,000 fine. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Todd Dellahoy Jr., 28, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers on patrol saw Dellahoy Jr. riding a bicycle knowing he had outstanding warrants for his arrest. Dellahoy Jr. was charged without incident, and officers reported allegedly finding Dellahoy Jr. in possession of fentanyl. Dellahoy Jr. was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Shakira L. Cuevas-Garcia, 23, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and other violations. At approximately 4:05 a.m. Sunday, officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East Second Street and Hopkins Avenue. A subsequent investigation revealed that Cuevas-Garcia was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Cuevas-Garcia was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. A Jamestown man has been sentenced for his guilty plea involving drug charges. District Attorney Jason Schmidt announced Monday that 33-year-old Jamal Jackson was sentenced to a total of 6 years in state prison with 5 years of post-release supervision by Judge David W.
