CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — MAYVILLE – On Aug. 17, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division received a complaint of an incident taking place in the Chautauqua County Jail. It was reported to investigators that an incarcerated individual kicked a Corrections Officer causing physical injury. After an investigation, Robert L. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — CARROLL — Deputies responded to an address for a reported altercation at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. It was reported that Jordan Beardsley did engage in a physical altercation with a subject that violated an order of protection. Beardsley was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree aggravated harassment and second-degree harassment. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT MINA — On Sunday around 9:53 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a property damage accident on Interstate 86. Deputies identified an individual on scene as Henry B. Stovall Jr., 49, of Jamestown. Through investigation it was found that Stovall had an active warrant out of the State of Pennsylvania. Stovall was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail and charged with being a Fugitive of Justice. Stovall was being held in jail pending his extradition hearing back to Pennsylvania.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Zachary A. Graves, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree attempted grand larceny, possession of burglar tools and third-degree criminal trespass. At approximately 7:30 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief in progress at an east side business. Officers located 30-year-old Zachary A. Graves fleeing the area on foot on the railroad tracks. A subsequent investigation determined that Graves caused substantial damage to a parked tractor trailer while attempting to steal its radiator. ...

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE - Jeremy M. Jones, 40, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment at 12:19 p.m. Thursday after Lakewood-Busti police officers responded to a Busti property for a reported unwanted person. When officers arrived they were told the person had left. Officer found the individual and pulled over the vehicle he was driving. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - STOCKTON -- A woman is facing charges after leaving three animals abandoned at a location on Route 380. Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department reported Thursday it received an animal complaint on July 2. Through an investigation it was determined that Katherine Gonzalez, 42, who deputies reported as homeless, did abandon a dog and two cats at a residence with no means of care. Gonzalez was charged with overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; failure to provide proper sustenance and abandonment of animals. She will be in town court later. - ...
