JAMESTOWN POLICE - Christopher Frederick, 56, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest at 7:45 a.m. Thursday after officers were dispatched to a business on the west side of Jamestown for a reported harassment complaint. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a woman who said an unknown white male approached her vehicle and began yelling threats at her while her 11-year-old son was inside the vehicle. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Jacob F. Harris, 28, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal mischief after a domestic incident at an east side home. Harris allegedly damaged a door during an argument with her partner and allegedly threatened the other person with a knife. Harris was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — CHAUTAUQUA — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office was made aware of a vehicle complaint on Route 430 around 5 p.m. Friday. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop and identified the operator to be Jack E. Wyant, 21, of Kennedy. Following an investigation, Wyant was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, speed in zone, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
