Three Charged Thursday After West Sixth Street Home Invasion

Three area residents face charges after allegedly entering a West Sixth Street house with a shotgun early Thursday morning.

James R. Sullivan, 30, of Jamestown, Ralph E.L. Burger, 36, of Corry, and Lisa M. Gibbons, 34, of Waterford, Pa., reportedly entered 504 W. Sixth St. unlawfully, with Sullivan allegedly carrying a shotgun.

Jamestown police officers responded to a report of a person with a weapon and possible home invasion, established a perimeter around the home and began giving verbal commands to the people inside the home to leave. Police report finding Sullivan hiding in the bathroom tub under a shower curtain and learned Sullivan entered the home accompanied by Burger and Gibbons. Sullivan was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, a felony; and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Burger and Gibbons were each charged with first-degree criminal trespass.

All three were arraigned in Jamestown City Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
