The owner of two local health and fitness clubs said he has decided to close both locations, effective immediately.
Scott Bradish, who owns Snap Fitness locations at 764 Foot Ave. in Jamestown and 707 Fairmount Ave. in the town of Ellicott, declined to comment on the reason for the sudden closures but said he had no plans to reopen either location.
The Snap Fitness on Fairmount has been open for nine years while the one on Foote has been open for 10 years, Bradish said Wednesday by phone.
A sign posted by Bradish on the front door of the Jamestown Snap Fitness read: “It is with great sadness that due to circumstances beyond my control, I am announcing the permanent closing of this facility as of 3/14/18. I would like to thank my many loyal members for their support over the past 10 years.”
Bradish declined to state what would happen to those who had recently paid for memberships.
“I’d rather not comment on this right now,” he told The Post-Journal. “I’m not going to do anything with the locations right now.”
