A number of businesses have again been cited for not sending required reports on time for their public water supplies.
The county Health Department recently announced the following agreements to settle:
Cassadaga ShurFine of Route 60, Cassadaga was fined $600 for failure to submit the June monthly operation records on time for their public water supply. This was their seventh missed report since January, 2025.
The Bemus Point Golf Course & Tap House of Main Street, Bemus Point was fined $200 for failure to submit the May monthly operation records on time for their public water supply. This was their third missed report since January, 2025.
Conti's Overtime of Route 394, Kennedy and the Ellington Rod & Gun Club were both fined $100 for failure to submit the May monthly operation records on time for their public water supply. This is the second missed report for both businesses since January, 2025.
Drybrook Mobile Home Court of Poland Center Road, Kennedy; Garfield Village MPH of Garfield Road, Jamestown; and Irwin Bay Cottages of West Lake Road, Mayville were each fined $100 for failure to submit the June monthly operation records on time for their public water supply. This was the second missed report for each business since January, 2025.
The Office Restaurant of Route 394, Kennedy; Cockaigne Resort of Thornton Road, Cherry Creek; Dollar General of Rt. 60, Cassadaga; the Green Frog of Route 20, Silver Creek; Liberty Vineyards and Winery of Rt. 20, Sheridan; Panama Rocks of Rock Hill Road, Panama; Robot 430 of East Lake Road, Bemus Point; U-Take The Cake of Busti-Sugar Grove Road, Jamestown; Westport Mobile Village of Webster Road, Westfield; Birria Bungalow of Fluvanna Avenue, Jamestown; Sunnyside Creamery of Sunnyside Road, Findley Lake; and South Hills Country Club of Busti-Stillwater Road, Jamestown were each fined $100 for failure to submit microbiological minimum monitoring requirements for the second quarter of 2026 on time for their public water supply. It was the first missed report for each business since January, 2025.
Westcreek MHP of Angell Road, Silver Creek was fined $200 for failure to submit results of microbiological minimum monitoring requirements on time for their public water support for June, 2026. This was the first missed report since January, 2025.
Bridgeview One Stop of Main Street, Bemus Point was fined $500 for failure to submit monthly operational records for May and June for their public water supply. The June report was their fourth missed report since January, 2025.
Crosby Mart - Hartfield of East Lake Road, Mayville was fined $300 for failure to submit monthly operational records for May and June for their public water support. The June report was their third missed report since January, 2025.
Splash! of Lakeside Drive, Bemus Point was fined $300 for failure to submit their monthly operational records for June and for failure to submit the results of their microbiological minimum monitoring requirements for their public water supply. The June report was their fourth missed monthly operational records report since January, 2025.
Lake Erie Estates of East Main Road, Fredonia was fined $600 for failure to submit results of principal organic compounds requirement on time for their public water supply for two different locations for the second quarter of 2026.
In addition, it was announced that the county Health Department is working with the Law Department regarding a $750 fine that is owed by Killa Kookies & Kreme of Fluvanna Avenue, Jamestown. The fine was due July 16.
