Sales include buildings for Jamestown bar

 A downtown Westfield building that houses multiple businesses has changed ownership.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from July 14-20. The county does not provide transaction information, but real estate documents are available for review at the clerk's office.

During this time period, 1-3 E. Main St., Westfield was sold to Lynn Scott Properties, LLC for $85,000. The Executive II Haircutting and The Parkview Restaurant are both at this location. No changes in operation for either business have been announced.

Also during this time period, 1065 E. Second St., Jamestown was sold to Nelson & Teboe Enterprises, LLC for $179,900. This is the location of the Puzzle Lounge. An employee with the Puzzle Lounge noted the building and the business have separate owners.

From July 14-20 there were four sales that were $300,000 or higher. They are as follows:

- 63 Crescent Ave., Chautauqua Institution sold for $975,000.

- 4084 Gallup Lane, Chautauqua town, sold for $500,000.

- 172 Pleasantview Drive, Jamestown sold for $408,250.

- 131 Sturdevant Rd., Kiantone sold for $300,000.
