Michelle Jones, outgoing president of the Rotary Club of Jamestown, installed Dr. Caitlin O'Reilly as the new board president for fiscal year 2026-27.
O'Reilly is a licensed creative arts therapist in New York state and a board-certified music therapist. She received bachelor's and master's degrees in music therapy from the State University at Fredonia and a PhD in depth psychology with specialization in integrative therapy and healing practices. She is also a master Reiki practitioner. O'Reilly worked from July 2009 through December 2016 as a hospice music therapist with Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care and supervised SUNY student music therapists during their undergraduate clinical placements and internships.
She first joined Rotary in 2017 in Estero, Fla., where she served as secretary and public image chair. When she and her husband moved to Colorado Springs, she served as public image chair of the Rotary Club of Garden of the Gods. After her husband's death, O'Reilly returned to Chautauqua County in April 2024 and immediately became involved in the Rotary Club of Jamestown. She continues to serve as co-chair for the Membership Committee during her 2026-2027 Rotary presidential year.
O'Reilly's private practice, Integrative Creative Arts Psychotherapy, focuses on grief, loss, and caregiver support. In addition to Rotary, O'Reilly is on the Advisory Council for the Jamestown Farmers' Market, a member of the Everwild Land Trust's Education and Events Committee and is involved in several committees and programs at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She lives in Lakewood and enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, and creating, listening to and playing music.
O'Reilly then installed new board officers and members.
