CHAUTAUQUA – The Chautauqua Home Rehabilitation & Improvement Corporation will host its 11th annual CHRIC Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Chautauqua Golf Club, Lake Course, 4731 West Lake Road, Chautauqua.
This year the tournament will be followed by an awards reception, raffles and luncheon being held immediately following the tournament at the Chautauqua Golf Club. All proceeds go to helping low- to moderate-income families in Chautauqua County.
The tournament is open to the public. Registration and morning refreshments begin at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Lake Course. Games include: dice games on par 3 holes, closest to the pin, longest drive for men and women, longest put, a par-3 challenge and an "On-The-Turn" putting competition.
Entry fee is $95 a player or $380 a foursome which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, and luncheon.

Donation will help CHRIC perform work benefitting senior citizens, veterans, low- to moderate-income families and individuals who need home repairs or handicapped accessibility modifications and helping first-time homebuyers.
Sponsors include Basil Chevrolet-Buick-Cadillac Fredonia for the chance on a hole-in-one on a par 3 to win a car, Bill's Contracting, Lawley Insurance Agency, Western Division Credit Union, John R. Samuelson, Attorney At Law, Nestle Purina and UPMC Chautauqua. Tee sign sponsors are Cattaraugus County Bank, Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Realtors, Dunkirk Vets WWII, Freay Funeral Home, Kosciuszko Polish Home Association Inc., Simpson Electric and Usherwood Technology.
