The Elizabeth Warner Marvin House has named Margaret Coulter to its board.

Coulter Margaret retired in 2022 after a more than 30-year career in the property and casualty insurance industry. A lifelong resident of the Jamestown area, Coulter is a graduate of Jamestown Community College and Jamestown Business College.

She is an active member of First Covenant Church, where she has served in many roles over the years, including singing in the choir and The Living Christmas Tree choir, serving on the Leadership Team, and acting as church chairperson from 2022 to 2025.

Since retiring, Coulter has spent time volunteering and activities she enjoys, including painting, reading, playing Mah Jongg, and visiting with family and friends.

Coulter first visited The Marvin House after being invited to the Christmas luncheon by a friend.

"She immediately fell in love with the beauty and history of the home," Marvin House officials said in a news release. "With a longtime passion for historic homes and architecture, she became interested in helping preserve this local landmark and continue its legacy for future generations."
