Jamestown High School recently welcomed 38 new inductees into its Kappa Alpha Tau Chapter of the National Honor Society during its annual induction ceremony.
The event, held at Jefferson Middle School, featured the JHS tradition of teachers introducing each candidate, the lighting of the scholarship candle — symbolizing scholarship, service, leadership, and character– the recitation of the Honor Society poem, and the NHS pledge.
“We are incredibly proud of this year’s inductees,” said Allyson Smith, JHS principal. “These students exemplify the values of the National Honor Society through their academic dedication and commitment to their school and community. We are excited to see the positive impact they will continue to have on Jamestown High School.”
