Warren Woman Charged After Driving In Stolen Vehicle
A Warren woman has been charged after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle on Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood.
Jessica M. Wolfgang, 45, of Warren was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation at 1:57 p.m. Monday. According to a police report, deputies pulled the vehicle over after it had been reported stolen out of the city of Jamestown. Wolfgang was issued appearance tickets to be in Busti Town Court later.
The Jamestown and Lakewood-Busti police departments assisted.
In 2023, Wolfgang was charged with walking off of a Warren County Jail work release program. City of Warren police say in an affidavit of probable cause that the department was notified of a “work release walk away” after she “punched out of work at McDonalds” at 6:46 p.m. and “did not return to the Warren County jail following her work shift.”
She was quickly found and charged with a single count of misdemeanor escape. She was sentenced to between 90 days and two years in jail.
