Film Festival Awards Return To Jamestown On Friday
JAMESTOWN — On Friday, the International New York Film Festival Diamond Globe Awards returns to the Cappa Theater at the Robert H. Jackson Center. The one-day film festival had its start in NYC and since 2021 has been held in Jamestown.
This is an IMDb certified film festival which means any and all awards won will be recorded on the International Movie Data Base like all major Hollywood films! Award winners receive the magnificent 14-inch Diamond Globe Award, plus a worldwide distribution award that includes their films placement on major platforms like Amazon, Tubi and apple TV, etc.
Attendees to the event can meet filmmakers traveling from around the world and be part of the Q and A after their films screen. Filmmakers are traveling in from Scotland, China, Australia, Indonesia, Columbia, and from around the USA.
The Diamond Globe Awards is livestreamed worldwide and gives Jamestown its own vibe of the Golden Globe and Academy Awards for real indie films.
The festival Director Diana Lenska has lived in our area since 2015 and produced several films in Chautauqua County through her film company Royal Realm Productions.
