The Roasted Bean Cafe began operations in early February. Operators Courtney Mason and father Ernie stated that the grand opening event will have far more to offer than the business does on a normal day. Mason stated that numerous private vendors will be in attendance selling treats, craft, and so much more. Additionally, Mason stated that there will be loads of entertainment for all ages, including live musical performances and face painting stations for young ones. Mason encouraged any members of the community to come check out the opening event, especially for those that have not yet been able to stop into the business. The grand opening will take place on April 25 and will begin at 10 a.m.
“The way that we do things differently here is that our entire menu is pretty much customizable,” said Mason. “It is literally however you want it, and that was part of the drive for us doing this. You don’t have to just get whatever’s on the menu, you can literally customize anything you want.”
Mason also noted the potential for other uses in the space as well, largely due to the fact that the building is nearly 5,000 square feet. With all of this space, Mason stated that the business has dedicated a room to private events, such as birthday parties or business meetings. Additionally, the group has already begun to schedule out activities in the extra space. Mason stated that these events will include ceramic class, painting class, crochet groups, and more.
“We’re having different groups come in. People that come in, different organizations or businesses. We’re just allowing them to use the space here, but they’re actually hosting their own events here,” said Mason.
