Featuring students in seventh through 12th grades, the show promises a colorful, imaginative adventure filled with lively performances and catchy songs. The production is directed by Jenna Devereaux and Jennie Caruso.

Based on the classic children’s book by Roald Dahl, James and the Giant Peach follows young James, an orphan who discovers a magical peach growing in his yard. After climbing inside, he meets a group of oversized insect friends – including a ladybug, grasshopper, spider, earthworm and centipede – who join him on a fantastical journey across the ocean in the giant fruit. Along the way, James learns about friendship, courage, and finding where he truly belongs.

Panama’s production highlights the story’s playful humor and heart while featuring upbeat, catchy musical numbers that make the show fun for audiences of all ages.

Performances will take place on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, at 7 p.m. in the Panama Central School auditorium. Tickets are $8 for students and children and $10 for adults.

Starting at $3.50/week.
