In a lively jazz club, Hermes (Presley Caruso) introduces a timeless tale of gods and mortals, centering on the young lovers Orpheus (Aren Suber) and Eurydice (Zoey Foley). Orpheus, a hopeful musician, believes his unfinished song can restore harmony to a broken world and win Eurydice’s love. As their romance blossoms, the balance of nature governed by Hades (Gabriel Carlson) and Persephone (Kate Verdonik) begins to falter, throwing the seasons and the world into disarray. Driven by hunger and desperation, Eurydice is lured to the industrial Underworld, Hadestown, by Hades’ promise of security, where she becomes trapped in a soul-crushing system that erases identity. Determined to save her, Orpheus journeys to the Underworld and confronts Hades, using the power of his song to inspire hope among the oppressed workers and to challenge the ruler’s authority.
