Eye Care Buildings Sell For $1.8M

The buildings which house two eye care centers in Chautauqua County have changed ownership.
The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in the county and recently looked at the transactions from Dec. 26-31.
During that time period, 1136 Central Ave., Dunkirk and 462 Fairmount Ave., Ellicott were sold for $1,875,000. Both addresses are Community Eye Care Specialist locations. No change in operations have been announced.
In a separate sale, 252-256 Central Ave., Silver Creek was sold to Harmon Holdings, LLC for $82,500. It appears vacant. The property is described on line as a mixed-use building with two commercial storefronts and multiple apartments.
Also during this time period, 208-214 Washington Ave., Dunkirk was sold to Dunkirk Landing, LLC for $16,600 and 220 Washington Ave. was also sold to Dunkirk Landing, LLC for $159,000.

Those are the addresses of one of two apartment projects scheduled to take place this spring by Regan Development. Company officials said they want to start demolishing the buildings there, including the Paradis Fence Company, as soon as possible.
Including the sale previously mentioned, from Dec. 26-31 there were six sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:
– 11620 Alleghany Road, Hanover sold for $590,000.
– 3479 Old Fluvanna Road, Ellicott sold for $360,000.
– 4960 South Hill Road, Ellington sold for $355,000.
– 7 Karen Drive, Hanover sold for $290,000.
– 1427 South Main St. Ext., Busti sold for $275,000.
– 4400 Fairmount Ave., Busti sold for $250,000.
Overall, from Dec. 26-31 there were 62 transactions. The full list of sales higher than $1 is as follows:
