A restaurant in downtown Dunkirk is under new ownership.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Dec. 19-24.

During this time period, Handsome Rob Holdings, LLC sold 332 Central Ave., Dunkirk to 332 Central Station, LLC for $130,000. That is the location of Central Station Restaurant.

On Facebook, “Handsome Rob” with Central Station announced the change of ownership.

“The day has finally come! Since this is our last day of operations at Central Station Restaurant, I would like to address some concerns that have been shared with me. First, nothing is changing at Central Station. On 12/27 the menu will be the same, most of the staff will be the same, and most importantly, the level of quality in both product and service will be the same. Please support the new ownership the same way you supported us,” he wrote. “In these past ten years, we’ve built lasting relationships in the community, and with you, our customers. We thank each and every one of you for supporting us and helping: Preserve Downtown Dunkirk One Sandwich At a Time.”

Also during this time period, Western Division Federal Credit Union sold 11-15 W. Sixth St., Dunkirk to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. for $130,000. Western Division Federal Credit Union moved from Dunkirk to 264 E. Main St., Fredonia in November, 2024.
