Sales Include Sign Company

A sign design business has purchased a new building so it can move to Jamestown.
The Post-Journal and OBSERVER has been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Nov. 3-7.
During this time period, 615 W. 8th St. was sold to AKS Sign Designs and Marketing of Lakewood for $80,000.
In an email, Alexandra Sullivan with AKS Sign Designs & Marketing discussed their plans. “AKS Sign Designs & Marketing has already moved into the new space for graphic and wrap installations on cars, trucks, and trailers. Renovations to convert the space for all install projects have already been done, and we plan to continue renovation and move the office and show room down to 8th Street before spring. Updates to the outside of the building are also set for spring.”
According to the company website, AKS Sign Designs & Marketing started in 2018.
In a separate sale, a parcel on Main Street, Dunkirk was sold to Wells Enterprises, Inc. for $300,000. With this purchase Wells currently owns seven of eight parcels from Marsden Street to Newton Street across the street from their current plant.
Wells in Dunkirk is currently undergoing a multi-million expansion and has been buying nearby properties for the last year.
Including the sale previously mentioned, from Nov. 3-7 there were 13 sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 11 Maple St., Bemus Point sold for $350,000.
– Condominium Unit No J-14 at Chautauqua Lake Estates, Cayuga Drive, Chautauqua town sold for $290,000.
– 8011 Milestrip Road, Villenova sold for $285,350.
– 4325 Leach Hill Road, Ellington sold for $280,000.
– 63 Newton St., Fredonia sold for $268,000.
– 33 Wright Park Drive, Dunkirk sold for $265,000.
– 25 Monroe St., Silver Creek sold for $250,000.
