Doors Open Jamestown Set To Return

Doors Open Jamestown will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, with numerous local attractions and businesses participating. Doors Open is designed as an opportunity for people who live in the region to experience what tourists see in the Jamestown area, featuring a variety of outstanding local museums and cultural institutions. The attractions open their doors for free during what would otherwise be a slow time of year.

The event includes an online scavenger hunt. Participating attractions are donating merchandise which will be assembled into three prize baskets. All individuals attending Doors Open are encouraged to participate. From the first stop of the day, find the answer to that venue’s question and use the QR code or visit go.chqchamber.org/experiences to launch the game pass on a mobile device. Visitors will input basic contact information and then will get a text featuring a direct link to the pass. Then, at each subsequent location, open the text thread to the pass and answer the next quiz question. Complete the pass by clicking the “rewards” icon and then click Claim Now to complete the entry. The drawing will remain open for several hours after Doors Open is finished to allow for pass completion. Prize winners will be randomly drawn from these entries and winners will be notified Monday, Jan. 26. For more information visit the CHQ Chamber on Doors Open day.
