A Jamestown woman faces charges after an accident Sunday.
Lori L. Eaton, 53, of Jamestown, was charged Jan. 11 with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to yield the right of way.
According to police, at about 5:56 p.m., officers were dispatched to a leaving-the-scene-of-a-motor vehicle-accident. Police said that it was reported that one of the vehicles that was struck had followed the vehicle that had fled. Upon arrival at the scene, officers identified Eaton as the driver of the vehicle that allegedly fled the scene. Through investigation it was determined that Eaton allegedly was under the influence of alcohol.
She was placed into custody and taken to Jamestown City Jail where she allegedly refused to take an alcohol breath test. She will be in Jamestown City Court later.
