Jackson Elementary School Students To Perform This Weekend
The Robert H. Jackson Elementary School Drama Club is presenting two classic fairytales this weekend: Stone Soup and The Emperor’s New Clothes. They will be performed back to back with a short intermission between them. Performances at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, in the Frewsburg High School auditorium. Tickets are available at the door. In the Emperor’s New Clothes the Emperor, played by Tiberious Kelsey, is duped by two scoundrels, the Farabutto siblings, played by Taylor Vullo and Vytas Morris, into wearing an invisible suit which “only the wise can see.” Lessons in Fairy Tales is directed by Sandra Meerdink and Andrew Minton, with more than 80 third- through sixth-graders performing.
