At the Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County August recovery luncheon, Executive Director Micheal Nordin welcomed Chautauqua County Sheriff James Quattrone and members of his department.
Nordin thanked the sheriff, Sgt. Matt Gustafson, and deputies Phil Lombardo, Truman Purslow and Joel Walsh for providing and serving the beef on weck lunch prepared by Elegant Edibles.
In addition to saying the blessing before the meal, Quattrone commended the MHA for the work they are doing. He expressed his belief in the organization and offered his support.
Nordin recognized three individuals for their achievements and contributions: one for his volunteer work at the front desk and cleaning, a second for securing an automobile, and a third for celebrating seven years of sobriety.
Everyone is welcome to the MHA recovery luncheons at 1 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month. Like all MHA services, the luncheons are free.
