The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from June 11-17.

During this time period, 16 Scott St., Jamestown was sold to Custom Touch East, LLC for $40,000.

It is the former location of Westburgh Electric, an electrical supply and motor repair facility.

The business left the building around 2017 and has remained vacant ever since.

A fire broke out there in 2023, which at the time was deemed suspicious.

Developer John Dubinski has been meeting with the Jamestown Planning Commission to convert the former industrial space into a three-story apartment building with three-bedroom townhomes on the first two floors and one or two handicap accessible units on the third floor.

In a separate sale, Finnegans of Fredonia NY, Inc. sold 26 Water St., Fredonia to Raven & Thorn, LLC of Fredonia for $246,500. Raven & Thorn announced on Facebook that they purchased the former Muldoons/Tully’s pub. Its grand opening took place Aug. 20.

Also during this time period, 3870 Rt. 394, North Harmony was sold to Camp Chautauqua, Inc. of Mayville for $79,447. This is a 3 story single family home which borders the camp property.

From June 11-17, there were seven sales that were $250,000 or higher. They are as follows:

– 46 Hurst Ave., Chautauqua Institution sold for $808,800.

– 4053 Bemus Creek Road, Ellery sold for $517,000.

– 2641 Route 430, North Harmony sold for $460,000.

– 27 Canterbury Road, Ellicott sold for $410,000.

– 8257 Canterbury Drive, French Creek sold for $410,000.

– 3666 Watson Road, North Harmony sold for $335,000.

– A 110 acre parcel on Davison Road, Cherry Creek sold for $300,000.
