WESTFIELD — Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department says a Wednesday fire on McKinley Road led to the death of a Ripley woman.

Alice Waters, 43, died in the blaze that took place in a camper and small structure located near 7984 McKinley Road around 12:45 p.m. The fire is still being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office. Further updates will be provided in the near future.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Westfield Police Department, Westfield Fire Department, Portland Fire Department, Brocton Fire Department, North Lake Fire Department and Chautauqua County Emergency Services.
