Happy Sesquicentennial: 305 Ross Grange Celebrates 150 Years

Ross Grange members celebrated National Grange month in April with a display at the Falconer Public Library. Special New York State Grange Deputies Allan and Fannie Mallet presented Ross Grange members with a plaque from National Grange to commemorate their 150th Anniversary. State Historian Carol Bailey was also present.
Ross Grange items were also on display at the Chautauqua County Fair. Included in the display was a picture of the original charter, pictures of the first members, original secretary’s book, grange jewelry, trophies and banners. The Ross Grange was started in Ross Mills, N.Y., in a multipurpose building. The group now meets in the Falcon’s Nest Banquet Hall on the second Tuesday of each month.
