Five area women will be honored by the YWCA of Jamestown with its annual Women of Achievement Awards.
This year's cast of award winners includes Danielle Mincarelli, recipient of the Rising Star Award; Kaycee Colburn, Power the Future; JamieLee Bonfiglio-Davis, Catalyst for Change; Amber Kautzman, recipient of the Shattered Ceiling Award; and Joyce Bess, recipient of the Dorothy Height Legacy Award.
A dinner reception to honor the award winners will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. Held each year since 1997, the celebratory event honors the leadership of women in Chautauqua County. Awardees are chosen based on their demonstrated personal and professional leadership, as well as their commitment to community service. This selection process aligns with the mission of the YWCA of Jamestown, which is to empower women, eliminate racism, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
