A south county law office building has been sold to a different partner in the same firm.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales and recently looked at the transactions from April 8-14.

During this time period, Kevin Laumer and Charles DeAngelo, dba FLD Properties sold 81 Forest Ave., Jamestown to 81 Forest Avenue, LLC of Jamestown for $240,000. This is the location of Fessenden, Laumer, & DeAngelo, PLLC.

In an interview, DeAngelo said he and Laumer wanted to sell the building to one of their partners so it would continue to be owned and managed by the current firm.

They chose to sell it to Galena Duba-Weaver, who is a law partner, and her husband.

“The firm will continue for many, many years. … The operations will stay the same,” DeAngelo said.

He added that he personally has no plans on retiring anytime soon.

“I’m addicted to this place. I love being here every day and I plan to keep working,” DeAngelo said.

Fessenden, Laumer, & DeAngelo also operates out of Fredonia and Olean. Those law offices are not owned by FLD Properties either.

From April 8-14 there were four sales that were $250,000 or higher. Thee were as follows:

– 3593 Lake St., Ellicott sold for $365,000.

– Unit 8241, Canterbury Woods I Condominium, French Creek sold for $359,000.

– 8905 West Ave., Portland sold for $303,000.

– 2710 Main Road, Sheridan sold for $265,000.
