Randolph Regional EMS No Longer Responding To Napoli

RANDOLPH – The Randolph Regional EMS Corporation will no longer respond to 911 emergency medical dispatches in the Town of Napoli as of June 1.

The decision follows the Napoli Town Board’s decision not to contract with Randolph Regional EMS Corporation for emergency medical services in the current year.

In 2024, RREMS was dispatched to 130 911 calls in Napoli, providing advanced life support care to residents. Randolph Regional EMS Corporation is staffed with a paramedic on duty 24 hours a day, operating out of the Randolph Fire Station. The paramedics can immediately respond in an ALS-equipped response vehicle capable of delivering advanced prehospital care, with volunteer ambulance drivers and EMTs responding with an ALS equipped ambulance from one of its three ambulance bases located in Randolph, Coldspring or Leon.

Randolph Regional EMS Corporation is an independent organization and is not affiliated with the Randolph Fire Company or the Randolph Fire District.

With the end of the contract negotiations, remaining ambulance services legally authorized to respond in Napoli under New York State law will include the Little Valley Fire Department, Trans Am Ambulance Services based in Olean, and Alstar EMS based in Jamestown.

“We have been proud to serve the residents of Napoli and are disappointed that we will no longer be able to do so,” said David Senn, president of Randolph Regional EMS. “We remain committed to delivering high-quality emergency care in the communities we continue to serve.”

Starting at $3.50/week.
