CLYMER – An early morning fire completely destroyed a home.

On Wednesday around 5:15 a.m. the Clymer Fire Department with several mutual aid fire departments responded to 7562 Nazareth Road in the town of Clymer for a residential structure fire.

The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was able to determine that the fire originated on the first story of the home in the kitchen area. Due to the severity of damage sustained to the structure, no cause was able to be determined.

One person was transported by Clymer Fire Department to UPMC HAMOT for minor injuries sustained during the fire.
