LAKEWOOD – Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care’s Designer Bag Bingo, one of its most popular fundraising events, will return to the Lakewood American Legion on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m.

Attendees can look forward to chances to win handbags, purses and wallets from designers such as Kate Spade, Coach, Dooney & Bourke and Michael Kors.

“What better way to brighten up your fall than with a stunning new designer bag?” said BJ Buonaiuto, Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care events manager. “Join us for a night of fun, and who knows – you might walk away with the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one!”

In addition to bingo, attendees can participate in giveaways throughout the evening. Tickets are $35 each or $30 each for groups of more than eight. All proceeds will benefit the services Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care provides to patients and their families in Chautauqua County.

Money raised from Designer Bag Bingo supports Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care’s specialized end-of-life care and other services, including bereavement support for families in the community. While hospice care is largely covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances, fundraising efforts ensure Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care can continue to provide additional care and support beyond what is covered by insurance.
