MAYVILLE — CHQ Marketplace has recently opened a new beer garden, The Filling Station, set to offer a new, bigger, more relaxing outdoor experience and expand the outdoor space of the Truffle Honey restaurant.

Owner of CHG Marketplace, Morgan Dinger, said they decided to add to Truffle Honey’s outdoor space because they wanted a bigger space to add to the two existing patios where beer and wine can be served outside, and where people can have an additional space to wait for a table.

The Filling Station will offer eight different draft beers, pre-mixed drinks, seltzers, wine, and snacks and other food, including the already popular pizza served at Truffle Honey. There will also be outdoor games and special Bills Tailgate Parties once the season starts, that will include drink specials, happy hour, and giveaways, and their signature wood-fired wings.

“We’re excited to announce that The Filling Station will be the ultimate destination for Buffalo Bills fans,” Dinger said. “We’ll be hosting tailgate parties during the games, with the action displayed on a large outdoor screen, creating an atmosphere that’s as close to the stadium as you can get without leaving Chautauqua County.”

The Filling Station is now open at CHQ Marketplace, 3943 Route 394, from Thursday to Saturday 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday hours may shift based on the times of Bills games.

The Filling Station offers outdoor games and places to meet and wait for a table.

Dinger said The Filling Station is a place for everyone to come and enjoy themselves.

“It’s a great community place,” Dinger said. “It’s open for families and dogs and is a fun and safe environment. It’s a central location, near Bemus Point, Mayville and Jamestown, and we offer excellent craft beers and wine. It’s a great, new, fun, community place.”

Dinger added that The Filling Station will also be the host of CHQ Marketplace’s Oktoberfest celebration, set for Oct 5. Live music will be played at The Filling Station every weekend.

In the future, Dinger hopes The Filling Station will become a community place for everyone to come and enjoy themselves.

“I hope it becomes a place where people can come and watch Bills games and enjoy the great scenery in the summer and fall,” Dinger said. “We offer private events and CHQ Marketplace has shops, including Truffle Honey, so people can also come and check out the shops and what all we have to offer.”

The Filling Station is an expansion of the already existing Truffle Honey.
