WESTFIELD – The Westfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary recently successfully completed a fine dining giveaway with the help of five Westfield restaurants. The auxiliary purchased a $100 gift certificate to each restaurant. Each restaurant had the option of providing something additional to their gift certificate. Winners are: Bark Grill, Keith Fowler; Brazill’s, Jamie Johnson; Calarcos, Holly Button; Grace and Abe’s, Connie Bates; Parkview, Jon Northrop. The auxiliary uses proceeds from all fundraising to provide items for the hospital. Recent purchases include a storage shed for hospital machinery, a wheelchair-accessible scale for physical therapy, and plants for the hospital grounds.
