FREDONIA – An apartment complex in Fredonia near the college has a new owner.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from May 28-31.

During this time period, RRG Fredonia Apartments, LLC of Jenkintown, Pa. sold 449 Temple St., Fredonia to ATR NY Enterprises, LLC of Lockport for $1,075,000.

There used to be a sign on Temple Street there labeled “Campus Edge at Brigham Apartments,” however that name is now covered up.

Campus Edge still operates apartments on Brigham Road and those parcels are still owned by RRG Fredonia Apartments, LLC.

Also during this time period, Benjamin Lands sold 10836 Temple Road, Dunkirk town to Neturei Karka, LLC of Valley Stream, NY for $300,000.

That is the address of Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A phone call to CNRC was not returned. There have been no announced changes to the nursing facility.

This may be a minority investor in the property. Even though the parcel has been sold, on the county’s Geographic Information System website, the owner is listed as Dunkirk Realty Holdings, LLC with 75% interest and new owner Neturei Karka, LLC is listed with 25% interest.

There’s also a note on the county’s GIS page that describes this location as a merged parcel.

Including the previous sales mentioned, from May 28-31 there were six sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 5974 Falcon Road, Chautauqua town sold for $500,000.

– 155 Chautauqua Escapes, North Harmony sold for $425,000.

– Lot Numbers 71 and 86, Chautauqua Shores, 4545 Canterbury Drive, Chautauqua town sold for $370,000.

– 12 W. Terrace Ave., Lakewood sold for $250,000.
