Three City Residents Charged After Wednesday Drug Bust

Three Jamestown residents face charges after a drug raid early Wednesday morning on Grandin Street.

According to a news release, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 6:10 a.m. Wednesday at 1 Grandin St., Jamestown, with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department SWAT team. Officers report Zachary C. Clark, 55, Kevin N. Young, 34, and Jamie L. Warner, 42, were found inside the home along with two other adults.

After the residence was secured, detectives searched the home and found metal knuckles, a quantity of methamphetamine, mushrooms, ketamine, vicodin, hydrocodone, scales, and drug packaging materials. All three were charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until they could be arraigned. Young was found in possession of methamphetamine while at the jail.

Warner, Young and Clark were each charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Warner and Clark were charged with five counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia. Young was additionally charged with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to a police report, all three have been convicted of crimes previously.

The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, Ellicott Police Department, Chautauqua County Tac Meds, and Jamestown Fire Department.
