Full-scale demolition work on the former Friendly’s Restaurant in Brooklyn Square began Thursday evening and continued Friday. After Friendly’s closed, the building was reopened as Jimmy’s Family Restaurant for a few months before it, too, closed. The building has been vacant since 2019. The site will soon be home to an expanded TIm Horton’s restaurant. To see video, visit post-journal.com.
