Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., Buffalo’s North Park Theatre will be hosting a Double Feature Premiere of two Buffalo fan projects, free of charge.

Among the projects is the one-shot action film “Mafia: Buffalo -vs- the Multiverse” from Pan-American Film Division, written and directed by Gerry native Travis Carlson. Also featured at the event is the documentary ‘Behind Every Shirt: A Story’ from 26 Shirts.

Carlson also plans to announce upcoming projects from Pan-American Film Division, which he founded in 2020. Carlson graduated with a degree in film from Buffalo State College in 2013, then worked for the Buffalo Bills as a cinematographer, where he created marketing videos, social media clips and documentaries on players.

Carlson then started Pan-American Film Division, where his first feature film, titled Mother’s Day, was shot in his hometown of Gerry. The film, released in 2021, aimed to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

Throughout writing and creating the book and the film, Mafia: Buffalo -vs- the Multiverse, Carlson was focused on shining a spotlight on western New York through the love of the Buffalo Bills.

“I would consider Western New York being a little overlooked, especially in the national mindset. Being from here, feeling like an underdog, I have a lot of passion to make great work from here and about western New York,” Carlson said. “This project was one of those endeavors. … It certainly has an incredible amount of tender love and care.”

Bills Superfans Pinto Ron, Del Reid, Bills Elvis, and more will be on hand for the event, which will feature more than $500 worth of gifts available for guests.

In 2019, Buffalo Bills Superfan Ezra Castro, widely known as Pancho Billa, passed away due to cancer. His inspiration lives on as Bills fans carry on the Pancho Packs charity in his honor. The Pancho Packs initiative, of The Teacher’s Desk, provides school supplies to students in need.

Del Reid’s 26 Shirts has raised over $1.8M through creative designs on apparel, while Pan-Am Films donated half of their profits on their Mafia: Buffalo -vs- the Multiverse fundraiser to the Pancho Packs school supply initiative. A donation will be presented to benefit the Pancho Packs initiative at the event.

A film trailer was to promote Mafia: Buffalo -vs- the Multiverse was shot in Buffalo last May. A trailer of the film is available online at panamericanfilms.com/billsmafiafanfiction
