The St. Susan Center will hold its 21st annual Basket Fair fundraiser Saturday at the Fluvanna Community Church, 3363 Fluvanna Ave.

The fundraiser begins at 11 a.m. At $20 per sheet, guests will have the opportunity to peruse more than 120 unique baskets and gift certificates, carefully curated to cater to a variety of tastes and interests. Baskets include chocolate lovers, baskets suited for men, children, and the ladies. A full catalog is posted online at stsusancenter.org/basketfair.

Among the highlights are six grand prizes, including a hot tub, a glider, and a patio set with a gazebo, valued at $500 each. Additionally, guests have the option to bid on cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200.

Grand prize tickets are available for purchase at $10 each or three tickets for $25, with pre-sale options provided by contacting the St. Susan Center or reaching out to a board member. The drawing will commence promptly at 2 p.m., with two 50/50 giveaways happening throughout the day.

As attendees explore the baskets, they’ll also have the opportunity to get food from the Comfort Cafe.

Sponsors include Wegmans, various community groups and countless community members who have donated baskets.

“Every basket and every gift certificate represents individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations who have generously donated to help raise money for the soup kitchen,” said Cherie Rowland, executive director of St. Susan Center. “Our hope is that the community will support the businesses who have donated to St. Susan Center, just as our wonderful community has supported our mission all year long.”
