A Chautauqua County winery near the Pennsylvania border has a new owner.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate transactions in the county and recently looked at the sales from Oct. 1-11.

During that time period, Davin Holdings, LLC of Trafford, Pa. sold 10661 W. Lake Road, Ripley to LX Blizz, LLC of Dallas, Texas for $530,000. That is the address of Sparkling Ponds Winery.

Xinni Zhang responded by email, confirming the purchase.

“We are temporarily closed down for renovation and planning to reopen in February,” Zhang responded. “We hope to bring the same high quality wine to our customers. We aim to create a relaxing family friendly environment that everyone connects through wine tasting. All staff will remain the same, please feel free to come by.”

The largest sale during that time period was 59 E. Terrace Ave., Lakewood, which sold for $2,295,000. The residence is described as a five bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, 4,490 square foot home.

Including the transactions previously mentioned, there were 10 sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:
